Stopped in on a whim and came away incredibly happy!I didn’t ask so I’m 100% but I’m pretty sure they make all their own stuff and it sure tastes darn good! So good that I didn’t go with my normal vanilla and tried the coconut in a coconut cone and even though waffle cones are normally my second favorite kind I was blown away at how much I enjoyed it.Even my little girl with autism has been completely silent and absorbed in her cone.The staff is friendly, the decor is great and the whole place is clean and inviting.They also do way more than just ice cream! Like if you’ve been putting off coming in for any reason it’s time to forget it and swing in. Highly recommend!

There is so much to love about Waffle Cone.The bright and inviting atmosphere, smelling the fresh waffle cones as you open the door, and the amazing assortment of small batch ice cream that is made in-house daily are all things that set you up for the beginning of an amazing experience. The employees add to this experience with their pleasant greetings and willingness to answer questions and provide tasting samples with patience. Sitting inside at one of the booths will give you the chance to relax while listening to some oldies on the radio. If you have kids, there are a few free games and activities available for them too.

My twin sister took me for ice cream here for our birthday. I got a waffle cone with peanut butter and chocolate ice cream. My sister got the Cookie monster ice cream and waffle cone. They tasted great and I found out that they make their own ice cream! And it was not expensive at all. I would rather give my money to a small business before I did a big corporation. The service was very friendly and fast.

Owner was kind. Sundae was delicious. The owner was so nice when I entered and he had a large selection of ice cream to choose from.The nuts on my sundae were finely chopped and sprinkled over the whip cream. They were so good!!!I want to go back again soon and recommend you do too.

Aside from the chocolate and chocolate based flavors which are weak, the ice cream is amazing and 5 stars. The reason I am giving 2 stars is because the serving sizes vary wildly depending on who is working. Some give almost half the size of others. It also seems to depend on if the line is long and what the flavor is. Meaning if it is easy for the employee to scoop the serving size is huge. If it is a harder to scoop, it is super small. I dont expect it to be perfect but it is hit or miss and it is really annoying.

They make their own flavors, the staff is super friendly and you have to try the banana pudding ice cream on a waffle cone. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

I ordered a single scoop waffle cone and there wasnt much butter pecan in the container, so I told him there werent many pecans in the scoop, so he had some in a container that he put on the scoop of ice cream and with his gloves on smashed the small crumbs of pecans from the bowl on my ice cream with his gloves. Gloves are used to handle money, and other peoples ice cream orders and arent considered clean, unless you are changing them between each order, or customer. Either way you shouldnt be touching any customers icecream, except with the scoop. I wasnt a happy camper. Watch who handles your order(s).

Could get more flavors of ice cream. They were out of a lot of flavors. I have eaten ice cream there on several occasions but overall it is great.

So, today my daughter and I decided to go to Wafflecone in Copperas Cove. We pulled up and I assume the girl who was running the business today was outside, smoking a cigar and talking on the phone. She greeted us, with a casual hello. We walked inside and assumed she was going to follow us? As we sat there, looking at all of the selection, she remained outside, talking on the phone. After a couple of minutes, we just walked out. She was still sitting there talking on her phone, smoking her cigar, and didnt even acknowledge our departure.We are not regulars of your establishment, but we do visit it, and have visited it since you were in the building off of Ave D, serving Blue Bell. Well, that will no longer happen after todays experience. You can thank your employee for the permanent loss of business. Your businesses will not succeed if you allow your employees/family to disregard and disrespect customers in that manner. I posted this on your Facebook page and sent you a message as well, not sure if she has screening ability.I truly hope she was just having an extremely off day.

The waffle cone was a fun place to take my grandchildren. The gentleman working was extremely friendly and allowed my two-year-old grandchildren to taste several samples before my grandson settled on vanilla haha. The place is clean, the service is great, a great place to treat someone you love.

I love waffle cone. Ive loved that establishment ever since they were ran out of that little pink house off of E ave D. The owner and has family are so sweet and have great customer service. Theyve always stood out more to me for a family ice cream shop with the pictures on the walls and their ice cream challenges. I miss the shop now that weve moved out of state but we always go back enjoy the ice cream every time weve visited out families. Weve had so many good times there with friends and family. Great ice cream and service!

The ice cream here is HUGE! I ordered a banana pudding ice cream in an Oreo cone (hope I got that right). It was delicious! Too much for me to eat but my son who is 6, ate his ice cream up. I gave it 3 stars because the person who served us was polite. Nothing wrong with polite, mind you, unless you feel like they don’t really want you there. That’s the polite feeling I got from this place.

Oh my goodness! By far the best ice cream in Texas! Set in a family fun environment with roomy seating. What is it that sets Waffle Cone ice cream apart from the rest? The ice cream is made from scratch everyday. You will not find this kind of creamy deliciousness anywhere else. The shaved ice syrups are also made fresh in-house and they have sugar free flavors as well. Also available are convenient pints to go.

Very family friendly. I visited TX with my brother and he told me this was the best ice cream shop in town. He wasnt lying! The ice cream was delectable, and the shaved ice my brother ordered was delicious with his home-made flavor mixes. I cant wait to visit agin!! :)

Polite nice clean and delicious

Went in Saturday with me my husband and 3 kids.. At first the owner was nice asked my daughters what they wanted let the youngest try the Italian ice.. then as we were making up our mind he seemed to be getting short with us.. well since the last time I was there they made ice cream sundaes. So I asked do you not make sundaes anymore and he tells me nope we got out of the sundae business now we only make cones and floats. Which was fine.. but my girls noticed they had sprinkles and wanted to know if they could have some on there scoop of ice cream (mind you he never asked us if we wanted cones or bowls for our children he just starts scooping the ice cream into bowls) so we asked for sprinkles and he threw his hands on top of the ice cream freezer and said I guess give me the bowl and give me the other bowls (which we werent asking for FREE) but he seemed it would be way out of his way to do so.. so we sit and we are eating he keeps looking over at us with a we ruined his day look on his face. Which he already made us uncomfortable because my daughter wanted sprinkles.. Now as we were sitting another lady came in with her 3 kids and his whole demeanor changed.. He was happy he wasnt short with her or her children like he was with ours.. Then another lady came in after her and the same he was really nice to her..Needless to say he made us feel as if us being there ruined his whole day we finished quickly and left.. the ice cream is great and the last time we were in there he was so nice.. but he made us feel so uncomfortable we will never be going back!!

Mother-in-law (MIL) was visiting for several days... one night, about 8 pm, MIL said she could really do with some ice cream. Hubby & I leapt to our feet and hustled her off to the Waffle Cone in Copperas Cove.We just LUHV the multitude of ice cream flavors, the toppings, and the incredible styles offered... want a bowl of ice cream? How about a chocolate dipped waffle cone?Oh, I know, a shaved ice? Smoothie? What about a sundae or a malt or a thick & creamy milkshake? However you like your ice cream, these folks can do it!We were quickly served by two diligent young ladies who gave us time to peruse the offerings and make our selections despite a party behind us in line. These gals were personable *and* professional, a credit to their employer. :-)We highly recommend this 50s style ice cream store!

Great little ice cream shop in cove. I believe its family owned and all the ice cream is made there. Everytime Ive been in the Ive been greeted with a smile and I always try at least one flavor before making my decision. The only thing I would want changed is pistachio with pistachios not almonds Im just saying I dont think almonds is a thing with pistachio ice cream. That being said the prices arent outrageous and in Texas anything to help you cool off is a good thing. They also have Hawaiian ice and a challenge if your brave enough to try it.

This is the best spot to get delicious ice cream/ sundaes and even snow cones. My personal favorite is the banana pudding ice cream. All of their ice cream is home made along with their waffle cones and bowls. Its cute that the employees wear the older style ice cream shop attire with their white hat!You are missing out if you dont stop here.

This ice cream is absolutely delicious! They have a lot of different flavors, our favorites are the cotton candy, cake batter & bubblegum. It is fairly priced and conveniently located in the middle of cove. We will be making this a regular place.

In a world of dying locally-owned ice creameries, Waffle Cone stands triumphant and true. I love their creative sundaes so much. The atmosphere is very community oriented and they just started making their own homemade ice cream. Waffle Cones new butter-based ice cream is 10 times better than any Blue Bell. Im so glad hes still churning out his own quality product after Blue Bells debacle.If I could rate Waffle Cone with more than five stars, I would.
