Been using Coppell Tire and Auto for years. I do most minor maintenance myself and bring the big complex jobs here. They (Shannon and team) always take the time to explain the repair and options, which is great for used teenagers’ cars. Most recently I brought a tire TPMS issue in and they re-synced my car’s system for no cost. They also do great pre-purchase used car inspections. I’ll be a customer for life. Ive been bringing my car here for years and until 2 weeks ago everything was fine. I arrived at 8:15 on a Saturday morning for them to repair my AC again (I spent $600+ for them to repair it back in April). I was told I had to come back during the week because they had other obligations. 1) they do not take appointments. 2) I arrived 15 minutes after they opened, even if they had other obligations, the fact that I doled out $600+ for an issue that was allegedly fixed, I should be made a priority. When I stated that either Im seen that day or I need a refund for the work that was still under warranty (they have a 24 month or 20k mile warranty for their work) they were able to find someone to take a look at it. The problem still isnt fixed (allegedly its my compressor now when in April it was a hose that needed to be replaced). My father has also has been trying to speak to the manager via phone since my ordeal and has been given the run around. Im deeply disappointed by this situation seeing as how Ive come here for 6 years.

Really great guys. Just needed a couple of fasteners torqued to spec after I installed a hitch on my car, they did it on the spot!!

By for the WORST service I have ever had...EVER!No one there moves with any quickness. They told me my vehicle would be ready Thursday or Friday... Here I am today on a Monday. Vehicle is now ready but of course all their paperwork is unorganized. I will never do business with them again. No custom service! Amateur hour at the circus.Also, everyone says how great of work they do. Not true! Id be fine with them moving slow if I got back great work. Quick walk around the car and it looks fine. The more I look the more I see how half fast the job was. Attention to detail was lacking. Pictures can be proven.

The Coppell Tire & Auto management staff and their service representatives are competent at the work they do. The focus of the entire staff is on their customers. Recently, I had a nail in my tire that was near the side of the wheel. It could not be repaired and needed to be replaced. Compared to the dealer that sold me the tires, the cost of the tire replacement and the other services were 20 % higher than what I was charged for the tire and serivice that I received from Coppell Tire. The other company was adding services and costs that were not necessary for what was needed.Time and again Coppell Tire management recommends to me what needs to be done, and why. Then, the service representatives are competent at performing the needed work. Most companies I deal with day to day I would like to be in competition with; however, I would not like to be in competition with Coppell Tire. Thats the highest compliment I could offer any company. I highly recommend Coppell Tire & Auto for car care.

Took my car to get the flat tire fixed. Had a nail in it that just needed to be patched. When I got my car back, it was worse than when I gave it to them. They put the wheel back on crooked so it was majorly shaking as I drove. They took my car back to fix it even though they were closed, but then the next day, my tire was flat again! A waste of time and money. I took it somewhere else, where they patched it quickly for free. Never going back and would strongly urge against anybody else.

Ive been going Coppell Tire and Auto for several years and have always been more than satisfied with their service. They are honest, trustworthy, and friendly. Their work is always done efficiently and quickly and Ive never had a problem with any of their repairs. I would (and do) recommend this place to any one who wants a thorough job done.

They do good work at a good price but do the work without calling first even when you request a call at time of drop off. They dont listen. And when I called for a quote they couldnt even bother to call back like they said they would. I am very dissatisfied with their customer service but the work is good which is why they didnt receive 1 star from me, however customer service is important when there are others like Jays mobile who will work with you right away on a quote.

I have been taking my car to CT&A for quite a few years (my car is 12 years old). I can truly say I have never encountered such great service. Ive had the pleasure of being helped by Brad and Shannon, both always explaining everything in detail and answer all my questions...and believe me, I do like to ask questions.Ive even had to tow it there several times, and they would check to make sure the tow got to my house, etc, etc.As a female, car shops can sometimes be very intimidating, but not here. From the beginning I always received great service.I always have peace of mind once my car is in their hands because I know it will be fixed. A very trustworthy place and team.

My husband and I have taken our cars here for 11 years. Overall it was good. However last month I took my 1 yr. old Honda for an oil change and they said it needed a new air filter and alignment. Since the car only had 12K miles I was for the first time suspicious. I took it to the dealer and it didnt need either. We are not going back. Also, they didnt fill up the fluids, just did the oil change.

I have always had great experiences with Shannon. He is honest and reasonably priced. I will continue to drive from McKinney for his great service.

My car was a victim of a do-it-yourself job gone wrong. I utilized its outsourced tow service to get my car to the shop. They were prompt and professional in getting my car loaded up. Coppell Tire & Auto fixed my car the same day and notified me of its completion. I felt like the pricing I received was commensurate to the service performed. I also appreciated that I was not pitched a bunch of services which my car did not need.I previously had my cars serviced by a different shop in Coppell but as a result of this experience Coppell Tire & Auto is my first call. Only to find out there was a tiny nail on the side of a tire. Since I purchased the set of tires from another shop with hazard coverage, I took the car back without any fixes. I indicated that I could pay any inspection fees. Shannon told me there was no charge. The mechanic, Jake, was friendly to stop his work and show me the location of the nail.I would recommend Tire & Auto for their kindness and honesty!

We have some geriatric vehicles and have been taking them here consistently for the past three years and have been pleased with the work. Today, I called Coppell Tire thinking that I would have to have my car towed to them because it would not start. We had tried to jump start it without any success and thought it must be the relay. When I called in, one of the guys assured me it was probably the battery and encouraged me to go ahead and replace it before towing the car in. I did what he said, and sure enough he was right.I will continue to be loyal to this business who has not only done quality work, but passed up a job when they knew it was in my best interest. I had a coolant leak and went to Coppell Tire and Auto I had several co workers recommended them. It was late when I dropped off my car so I left it overnight. They called me the next morning and stated I needed a new water pump and a seal on something else. The estimated was 600 + !!! I could not afforded the cost so I picked up my car and took it to my dealership hoping it was covered under my powertrain warranty. The dealership contacted me after a technician inspected my car and it only needed a seal and the cost was only $130.00. Nothing wrong with my water pump! I was very disappointed that Coppell Tire and Auto tried to take advantage of me!! I recommend you get a second opinion before letting this place repair your vehicle.

Its good to have a shop that you can trust. Most shops charge at least $60 to even diagnose a problem. Thanks for taking care of our family friend! You have another customer!

Coppell Tire is the most trusted auto repair shop that I have ever used. They are courteous, prompt, professional and reasonable.

I have been going to this place for quite some time now. Theyre reliable and get the job done. Their charge is reasonable and they dont pressure you into other nonessential expenses.

Car sprung an oil leak, told my son to go here for an estimate. Shop calls me in an hour and says It will be several $1,000s to repair and that It is leaking behind the turbo. Asked what component exactly failed, they said Well we havent put it in the shop yet to see, but its going to be very expensive. !!!!! I knew better as the oil leak was opposite the turbo, turned out to be an O-Ring on a cooler line ($130 in any shop). Check their BBB Rating and not these fake Google reviews, scandelless :(

Ive used this place a couple of times. Work seems to be good and I have no real issue with that, but the customer service seems to be spotty. I just tried to drop off my car and wasnt even acknowledged that I was there. The person working the counter was dealing with a customer buying tires, and I can appreciate that, but as this task was taking over 5 minutes and the customer was asked to follow to a computer in the back room, a simple Well get to you in a minute would have gone a long way. Instead, I was left to stand out in the lobby. Someone else was working on a different computer in the back and made no effort to come out and help me. So, I after standing around, I left and dont think Ill be back.

I have brought all my cars, from 200,000M suburban to 75,000M Porsche since the day they opened. I may have sent 100 friends here as well. Why? They are honest, they are reasonable, they do good work and they are pleasant along the way.There were a couple of years during their growth that they had some staffing issues, from rude to poor work, they handled that period made some changes and continue to provide excellent work.I like to say these are the kind of guys you could drop your car off with, leave them $1,000 cash, and ask them to fix all that needs fixing. When you return they will have fixed what needed fixing and return the unused funds. Thats honesty and integrity that is in short supply in the auto repair business.

These guys are quick! Before I knew it, I got the call to pick it up. Car wasnt starting - they discovered issue - rewired - problem solved! I dont trust anyone else to work on my car.

Of the many states Ive lived in and the many different shops that Ive dealt with, Coppell Tire & Auto is, by far, the best. I continue to be amazed by these guys, and for several reasons. WIth four daughters and many cars to maintain through the years, they have always treated me well. After 8 years of service and many, many repairs on these vehicles, ive never once been disappointed. They have worked with me several times to provide a less expensive repair option. They always do quality work. Twice while sitting in the waiting area, I have witnessed them tell another customer that the repair was very minor and there was no charge. Who does that anymore? I thought that type of care and service was no longer existent. I was recommended to CT&A by a friend who bragged on them. That was 8 years ago and Ive recommended them to everyone I meet who mentions a car repair need. ALL of my family and most of my friends now use them. Theyre that good. You should give them an opportunity to impress you too.

This place is very confusing. I wasn’t sure on where to leave my car to get an oil change. I received no help. The manager came out and yelled at the at the bottom of his lungs that I was parked in the wrong place. I almost started crying of how mean and threatening he was.

I took my car here to get the AC checked up on since it was running warm. They recharged it with refrigerant and told me that it didnt have any problems. 2 and half months later, the AC quits working and I bring it back to ask if they can take a look at it again. I get a call a little later, saying that I need to replace the whole AC system for $2500 including over $1k for a compressor that I found online brand new for $355.Anyway, I took my car back without getting it fixed because I couldnt believe that they could say everything checked out fine...then 2 1/2 months later...they say everything is broken and needs to all be replaced. I took it another place that did free estimates and found that the problem was a worn AC belt that they would replace for $120. I paid $150 for Coppell Tire and Auto to check my car twice. They couldnt find the problem the first time and then they wanted to replace everything the second time...I got the real problem fixed somewhere else.This place either doesnt know what they are doing or they do and just want to rip people off...

Left my car here for them to take a look at the air conditioner. Got a call back with a $1700 estimate. So, I declined the work and told them I will pick up the car. I was slapped with a $100 diagnostic charge. I asked them why wasnt I told about the charge in advance? The replies, do you work for free?, every single person who comes here pays that fee, It is your responsibility to ask for any fees you may incur before you left your keys here. Oh after paying my diagnostic fee, I was also told next time keep your car. dont bring it hereI have no issues paying your fee, but tell me in advance. Dont rip me off. Run your business ethically. Next thing you know, you take the car to them to check for a rattling sound and they tell you it will cost $5k for repairs and if you decline, you still pay some crazy $500 diagnostic fee. And best of all you will not be told about the diagnostic fee in advance, because their policy is dont ask, dont tell!!. Scammers!Save your time and money. Go to Beas Auto Repair in coppell. Love those guys. Very professional and upfront about their fees.

The service is always as prompt as their workload will allow and weve always had quality service experiences. With 4 children and a mother in law living with us weve had 7 cars to maintain thru the years. Most recently my son who now lives in Wylie had problems with his truck so he took it to a shop there and was told he would need $4,000 worth of work... we encouraged him to get a 2nd opinion and take it to Coppell Tire & Auto. Well it turned out the work the other shop had told him needed to be done was not necessary, which spurred me to write this review! I trust Coppell Tire & Auto to fix my car at a fair price and a timely manner without trying to talk me into work that doesnt need to be done!!!

I had a check engine light on my Acura sedan, and Coppell Tire & Auto got me fixed up with no problems!Another local shop gave me a quote to replace a damaged radiator and coolant temp sensor, but Shannon and his crew found out I also needed another part replaced - even with extra parts and labor, it still ended up costing me about $250 less than I wouldve paid the first shop!They even repaired the damaged sensor connector so I wouldnt have to buy a whole new wire harness - super savings! I DEFINITELY recommend Coppell Tire & Auto and will go back to them in the future.

The owner Shannon is quite possibly one of the rudest individuals Ive ever talked to. I dropped my truck off this morning at 9:30 AM and I was told worst case, my truck will be ready in two hours. I called them at 12:30 and Shannon answered, he was extremely rude and told me that my truck will be ready at 3 PM. I told him I was surprised that it was going to take that long and he told me not to give him any grief, its Saturday. I told him dont worry about working on my truck and Ill come by and pick up my keys and take my business elsewhere, he hung up on me. I went by to pick up my truck and he did not want to come up to apologize or say anything about the call that we just had. I will make sure I let everyone know just how terrible the owner Shannon is and to take their business anywhere else.Definitely the worst customer service I have ever received in my life.

Im sorry, but those other reviews must be from the mechanics. Do NOT take your car here, they are a complete ripoff! My husband took his car here because his ac was working sometimes but not others. They said it was going to be $741 to fix the blower motor, resistor, and wiring harness (I wrote all of this down). Anyway, he said no thanks. When I came it to pick the car up I asked them since the ac worked sometimes if it could just be the resistor or wires and not the blower motor, and he said no, its all of them. I just drove the car home (ac working at that time). I called my old mechanic who is too far away to go to and asked him about it, and he said it would be really unusual for all of those to go out at the same time, especially if the ac still blew on and off. My husband who is not a car person decided to take a look and found a wire thing connected to the resistor that part of it was burnt out. That part cost $100 new at Kia (we went and got one for $5 at a junkyard!) and he put it on in TEN MINUTES!!! And yes, its working just fine! Those guys are just thieves in uniforms!!! Im just upset that we spent $50 on a diagnostic fee when they were just trying to scam us! Id rather drive an hour to my old mechanic than take my chances with them!

I was referred to Coppell Tire and Auto by an oil-change place after the oil change guy misdiagnosed a bunch of problems with my car--including a very expensive one. Fortunately the folks at Coppell Tire found the true problem and fixed it in the cheapest possible manner. None of the other alleged problems exist--so no charge. In fact, I personally misdiagnosed a problem with my heater which Coppell Tire said was just fine--so no charge. What kind of mechanic tells me I dont need repairs and doesnt charge me? The one Ill go to from now on. Highly recommended based solely on this first, amazing experience.
