They have indian deli in here. Owner will give you samples anytime. Butter chicken tastes like Thai curry for some reasons but good price ($9.99 or so for rice curry combo). Come early at 11 so they have everything ready, tend to run out fast.

Im from out of town. Went there for milk one evening. The owner gave me a sample of the curried chicken! It was delicious. On our way back south i stopped in and got some curry chicken, rice and a naan bread. Delicious! Definitely a place ill be back to for the food alone!. PS its all homemade!! And tastes like it!

Now under new ownership. The family that now owns the Lighthouse market has greatly improved upon an already good thing. Now with Freal milkshake machine and legit Icee machine!!! Lol plus they have authentic Indian cuisine to add a lil flavor to the empire area I believe they are a wonderful addition and breath of fresh air during these trying times. 5 stars no b.s. sincerely Dave

Lighthouse Grocery has some wonderful new owners (I think they’re Sikh) who are bringing their awesome cultural background to Coos Bay. I finally have a place where I can get Indian food without having to drive 200 miles!

Found a roach in my curry chicken, it was in the rice underneath. Prices are a little steep. The Indian man behind the counter pretending to be your friend to keep your business is not a nice man.

Store has a good verity of everyday items to choose from off the shelf, also deli food hot and cold, fair prices considering its a convenience store, ice cold beverages from the cooler, I use this store often.

Good pit stop before shooting out towards barview. Delicious hot case items as well as a wide variety of drinks and beers. My usual stop in before I make my way home or out to the beach.

Love the friendly atmoshere. Always stop on the way out to the beach. Also use their pay station to pay my bills.

Stop here every morning for coffee and tobacco products, friendly staff, good selection of stuff. Updated 1/11/21 So there is a new owner and it seems the only original worker thats still there is the old manager, it appears everyone else that i am used to seeing there has been removed? I dont like it, may need to take business elsewhere, i dont like change, and that is a drastic change.
