We had entire kitchen done and the info upfront from Mark the sales rep was inconsistent with our experience in the durability of the stone. They just claim that we are not using it normally. Would not even come out to see what was actually happening. We did have a shelf break and had that fixed but on main parts the stone shows many scratches just a couple months after being installed.

We had a great experience. Very good price and installation was smooth, no damage to walls or cabinets. The seam pictured is barely noticeable. I would use this company again.

I had a good experience with TC Discount Granite. They were knowledgeable and very helpful. Their owner, Mark, was very patient with me. Their install guys were nice to work with and quick, got my old counter ripped out and new one installed within 2 hours. Mark addressed any issues and questions I had before and after install. And I love my new counters!!

We are very happy with the granite counter tops that TC Discount Granite installed! There was a couple of scratches from the mfg process, but they promptly dispatched a repair person (Steve Linquist) and he did an excellent job with the repair. All in all a great overall experience.

Had them put in some cheaper granite in one of my rentals and they cut it wrong on the sink they offered to replace it but couldn’t replace it before the renters moved in. So I had them install it anyway and I called to get some money back all they would do was a couple hundred . The owners wife was super rude on the phone and super rude in store when I went to pick up the refund . I Will not be going back and will not be recommending them anymore to my other contractors and family and friends. It seems they only treat you well if you buy the expensive stuff that makes them money. 1 star for the customer service and wrong measurements.

Happy Customer! From the showroom to installation, I was satisfied with all aspects.

I had granite countertops installed in my kitchen and two bathrooms in December. It appeared everything was fine. I left it for a winter vacation a couple of weeks after the installation and returned about a week ago. I was gone 2 1/2 months. Upon return and actually using my kitchen on a daily basis I found a small chip in the granite right at the front of the sink. This is a spot that you are constantly working in front of and wiping and I felt like it could cause a cut. I called Aaron at Maplewood and told her about it and basically after about three days she finally got back to me and told me it’s not their problem because it was installed months ago and they don’t know when it happened. For the money that I paid for this product I am very disappointed that they can’t even come Fill a chip. I’m not asking that they replace the whole countertop. Just wanted them to fix the sharp edge. I would not use these people again because their customer service is in the toilet.

We shopped around and ended up coming back to this store to order. Their prices are fair, selection was great, and sales people were knowledgeable.

I had 3 estimates for our counter tops and this one came in the lowest...by far. I also had 3 people recommend this company to me, but still hesitated due to the low price and the on-line reviews. I had Quartz installed last week and it looks great! The customer service was fantastic, the installers were efficient and polite, and the price was reasonable. Lastly, there were some red marks on my white quartz from manufacturing of the countertop and I called TC Discount Granite and they scheduled to have it fixed right away! Would definitely use TC Discount Granite again!

Our experience was outstanding. Everyone we met from John the measure to staff at the store to the people answered the phone to the people who put in granite were fabulous courteous kind answered questions no mess on time. One of the best experiences the best experience weve ever had with contractors and the granite place it was amazing I highly recommend!

Initially I was pleased with the service and promptness of install. However, I recently called for a quote on additional island, I was told they would call me back and never did. I followed back up with them, again they said they would call me back and never did. Now this evening, I walk over to my counter top and it appears there is a some sort of pressure crack on the surface of the quartz right above my lazy Susan. I can only assume Ill call to get it fixed and they will tell me they will call me back. The service doesnt seem to be all that great. Reading other reviews, the counters crack and TC granite doesnt stand by its products. Ive had the counters for less than a year. I got them installed in April. Im hoping that the end results will be better than I predict but so far...Quite disappointed.The owner then replies to me that there are no such reviews...please see owner response.But Anna on Yelp has this to say “they butchered our counter tops...granite cracked after a couple months...owner claimed it was our misuse...they do not stand behind their work...they are known to be hacks in the industry”I guess we should have headed warnings. At this point, I do not stand corrected.

I had a FABULOUS experience with TC Discount Granite! Great pricing, super helpful, good quality, and seamless install process. They did a wonderful job of setting the expectations correctly (timing, install process, what they do and dont do, etc.) and connected me to the right people to help with the plumbing and gas. Last week I had granite installed by TC Discount Granite. It looks unbelievable! I was very pleased by the whole process. I had priced out many locations around the metro area and they for sure had the best priced granite for any budget. Great company to work with!

We purchased quartz counter tops from Twin Cities Granite 11 months ago and were very pleased with the install and the counter tops until my wife noticed a crack in the counter at a corner where the counter wraps around a wall. She email the staff and they replied quickly asking if there were any electric appliances that are used on the counter. She told them that we do have a toaster and a instant pot on that counter. We also put a level on the counter and found that the counter has a camber ( it crowns up) where the crack is taking place. They informed us that quartz counters should not have electric appliances used on them and that they create to much heat and cause cracking and that we could pay to have the crack filled to stop it from continuing. My problem is they did not inform us about using electric appliances when we purchased the counter top and there is no information on the web site about this that I can find I looked in the FAQ section and the quartz. I am very disappointed in the customer service.

Very happy with my experience! They answered all my questions, and quickly got me a quote and it was just as advertised! If you are looking for new countertops, definitely stop in and talk with them. They dont pressure you at all one way or another and they have samples you can take home.

I am in the market for a granite counter top and still in the process of researching where to go. However, after reading the reviews here I am not inclined to come to this location. I understand that customers are hard to sometimes deal with but the responses of this granite provider lets me know that if I have any issues with the services... I will get emotionally vomited on. Its almost guaranteed. That is not something I am interested in. Thanks customers for providing feedback. I will continue on with my search.

I had an excellent experience. Granite is truly an investment, but well worth it after working with some extraordinary people. They all were very skilled and superior in their line of work. I want to thank Jon (took measurements), the 2 gentlemen who installed, Craig Merkel (tile cutter), and David Stavish (plumber). Twin City Granite had all the resources needed at their fingertips to complete the job. My new granite counter tops in the kitchen, master bath, and guest bath are absolutely beautiful. Thank you!

Workers showed up on a Friday around 8:00 a.m. and got right to work. They did a great job; however, the countertop to the smaller cabinet was cut too short. They told us hopefully they could cut a new piece and return later in the day to finish. They never returned! No call! No apology! No explanation! I finally called the office near the end of the work day to inquire what the plan was for our missing piece. I was told they would complete the project next Wednesday--FIVE days away, and no time was given. I was told, Its only a small piece, and not a big deal, and technically its really only three days since weekends dont count. Seriously? Then they said, Havent you ever made a mistake? And, Well I dont know what you expect us to do. I expected to be treated like I mattered. This whole incident could have been avoided with one courtesy phone call followed by a simple apology. How about, Were so sorry this happened. Well move your project to the top of the list. Instead they belittled me for their mistake and negligence. They simply do NOT value their customers!

Our experience with TC Discount Granite was positive from the moment we first spoke with Mark Harms about our possibilities for countertops, to our selection process, mind changing, in home measuring, slab selection and final installation. Everyone in the process was friendly, knowledgeable, patient and efficient. The final product is beautiful. Mark even suggested a plumber, Dave Stavish, to do our disconnect and connect of faucet, dishwasher and disposal. Kudos to the whole team. I would happily recommend them to anyone getting new countertops.

Looked like they did a good job of installing the counter tops tell I put my stove back in and the left side was 1/8 taller then the right side so it looks bad and Im going to have problems with my back splash lining up correctly. They lined up perfectly on the old counter tops. Contacted the owner and said he couldnt do anything about it and that it wasnt his problem, he got my money and that is all he was looking for L guess. I would not use them again! Walked in, and was helped right away. If we didnt spend so much $ they were not willing to help us. We felt like we were wasting time of the employee. We were rushed out and felt terrible.

Really lacking in customer service, the showroom was really hard to find, and the prices were OK but not the best. I would go with them if the sales woman had been more helpful and their turn around time wasnt so long (3 weeks, as opposed to 1 1/2 weeks at other places).

Beware!!! They do not back up their product!

I don’t know what all these other people are complaining about in their reviews. Bunch of sissy entitled millennials I think. Didn’t have any issues with TC Granite. Go there in person before you form judgements on these faulty reviews.

I ordered countertops for install. Wasnt going to be there during install. Big mistake.Two walls not adjacent to install were damaged, New hickory cabinet was split apparently because the installer didnt want to take the 30 seconds it would have taken to pre-drill a hole. They also siliconed all my electrical wall plates to the wall. The installers, I guess, ran out of silicon because it was only half applied on one slab. The next day I found a granite piece (leftover from drilling the faucet hole) laying in my lawn. This was the most basic of kitchens. The installers almost had to try to do a poor job to do a job this poor. In fact, this had to be the worst installation of anything I ever been a part of. And as you may have guessed, TC Granite is baulking at doing anything to correct. Do yourself a huge favor and go elsewhere.

Look at the way this company responds to negative reviews as an example of their customer service. They may have cheap granite but they are a bunch of jerks even when they make mistakes and its blatantly their fault. Future buyers steer clear!

I did not buy granite but I stopped into the store to check out the selection. There was one option for $29/sqft and the price then jumped to $49/sqft.In my opinion, the nice options started at $65/sqft.Also, there is an extra charge per linear sqft for edging. Ogee edging, for example, is an additional $25/sqft.They had some beautiful options, good customer service in the store, the granite is thick and the samples are free and gererously sized.Im still shopping around and havent ruled them out! I do think the starting at $29/sqft advertising is misleading.

Went into store after seeing billboards advertising low-priced granite. I walked around store, inspected all slabs - none were anywhere near the advertised prices. If there were granite at that price, it wasnt displayed. I waited patiently to ask about the discounted prices, but no one said a word to me. There was only 1 other customer in the store. No one greeted me, asked if I needed help, or told me that I would need to wait. I waited in the store for 10 to be helped and left. Not getting my granite here.
