If I could give this place a quarter of a star, it would be giving them more than they deserve. Fact: they dont care what their price tags say, chances are theyre going to ring it up higher.Fact: The woman that works there is probably the most vicious person Ive ever done business with.Fact: the man that works there isnt much better.Fact: they have a great selection of items.Fact: I went in to buy buzz biggies. She had three left. I wanted all of them to give to friends. She refused to sell me the third one because someone else might want to buy it.Fact: The mean woman will argue with you about prices and anything else she can argue about.Fact: they dont give a flip about their customers. Customer service is not their forte.Myths: they care, they are honest, they are nice, they are fair, they give good customer service.I would not care if every other liquor store in town closed down and they were the only place open....Id drive 100 miles to buy from someone else. They dont deserve your hard earned money. You (the customer) deserve better.

Went in to buy a vape and got home only to find out the box with the vape in it was empty. Brought it back, and they refused to refund me because they “didn’t believe they’d sell an empty box.” Used to shop here a lot, but after this experience I will not be back. Thank you WOW for stealing my hard earned money and refusing to do anything about it.

Nobody had a mask. Very basic customer serviced from the one person working. Hard to get around because big piles of boxes blocking the aisles.

Will sell to under age. Does not check ID. I was not ID, watched three other transactions that were not ID. Reported to ABC. ABCs response..... we cant do anything due to COVID.

Man is sweet, lady is rude, she threw my dollar back at me one time saying IT OLD yuck looky, and yelled for me to buy my own germ-x although its free with there retailer, because i asked for a pump after paying cash.

I have been in this liquor store a few times and never had an issue or problems ever.However, this one star review is because of how I was treated when trying to give this store service.I only had my debit card and ID with me when I went into the store the other day to pick up some things to drink, when I was finally checking out the woman behind the counter rings me up and the total is about $20, but for some reason my card only processed $16, even though there was more than enough money on the card.When I tried to tell her this and sometimes my bank messes up and try to put my card back into the machine, she starts screaming and yelling about how I still owe $4 and proceeds to yell that the card won’t work.When she finally calms down and let me put the card back into the reader it took the rest of the charge and it was processed.Not a very big deal, but you do NOT flip out and start to scream at a customer because the card reader wouldn’t work.I will not be spending my money or businesses in this store ever again.

My boyfriend and I went in here to buy some liquor and the cashier was unbelievably rude. She screamed at him and causes a huge scene because we were having some card troubles. This business needs to get their act together if they think it’s okay to allow someone working their to scream at their customers and embarrass them. This was the worst experience I’ve had in a long time at a store. I would never recommend going to this liquor store to anyone. We will never go back.

This place doesnt even deserve ONE star!!! This is the worst place EVER!!! Everytime I go in there the lady ALWAYS acts like u r stealing. Well last time I went in there my friend was with me. We bought 1 bottle and 2 things for $0.99 . Well as I went to walk out I looked at the receipt and the bottle was on there and something else for $2.39. So I got back in line to ask her what it was and the person that was with me was going to go out and she started SCREAMING at him saying he was stealing!!! He even emptied his pockets and she STILL kept screaming at him and the people in front of me was going out so I put the receipt on the counter and she was STILL yelling, shoved the receipt harshly at me across the counter and said she didnt have time, she had OTHER costumes, a man behind me looking shocked! So I would honestly think twice about going in there!!

Decently priced liquor store in Cookeville. It is not the most expensive, not the cheapest, but it is close to Tennessee Tech. Very close on the east end.

Staff is knowledge about their product. Not always trying to push stuff on you. I will go back there.
