Always clean and stocked well. I always head right to the bakery in hopes they still have a loaf of their amazing swirl rye bread😋. I have never heard any employees complaining. They are always helpful.

Some pretty high prices on some items milk 50 cents gallon higher than Walmart or Kroger.Some things are average price. Cant afford to do all my shopping there.

Great staff thats always happy and helpful. I love supporting this company because they actually take care of their employees financially and with great benefits. And it shows with the behavior of every single staff member. The employees take pride in their job and is likely the reason every department looks clean, well stocked, took care of and has knowledgeable, friendly employees. Good job Publix. Other businesses owners should take note of simple business tricks and maybe they could be a fortune 500 company too.

I went there to send $1600 to a family member for unexpected car repairs. The employees had no idea what they were doing, (which, btw, was very obvious), yet assured me that they did. My cousin never was able to pick up his money which resulted in him losing his job. All due to undertrained employees having to work a department they know nothing about!!Needless to say, Im not too impressed with Publix.

Mostly friendly service, a little pricey but random good deals make up for it most of the time.

Great selection; they carry far better quality products than the competition. Very classy, but dont expect super center pricing. Only place where I could find quality EVOO and authentic Italian Pecorino cheese for my planned Italian meals. A good, specialty product option and a cut above the rest.

Favorite grocery experience in the area. Prices a little higher by my usual shopping but not so much that it isnt worth the super nice people and great selections. Best deli in the area. Otis to deli management and team for clean environment and naturally helpful people. Great work. Noting but good things to say here overall.

This store was so needed. I love the roomy aisles and the tremendous variety of food. The downside is trying to feed a family from the prices at this store. Definitely not your Mom’s version of a grocery store, but I still love it!

Publix is great, they have anything you want. I normally shop at Aldis, they dont have the selection but I spend about half. That being said, Publix is always clean and well stocked. Everyone that I have had contact with were very helpful.

They have a great deli and the baked goods are top notch. I just enjoy shopping at Publix. Cant beat the BOGOS items.

Prices are good but their staff is out of this world. They are the most helpful, friendliest, most knowledgeable bunch in the country. They keep me coming back.

What can I say, its a typical Publics grocery store. The check out lady was probably new and made several mistakes. She charged us for coffee that we didnt buy and charged us for avocados when we were buying tomatoes. Everyone makes mistakes. Its still a good store.

I love love love this store! Everyone in our town should have to go to Publix store training. Everyone in the store is very pleasant. So very helpful. You actually get service there. They take your groceries out and will not let you tip them. I will definitely encourage to go there. They always have specials for almost everything I purchase. What a great deal!

Publix is my favorite grocery store. Always has been always will be. Im glad they expanded to Tennessee around the same time I moved from Florida. Publix stores and employees are consistently excellent no matter which one you go to. The Cookeville store had always fit the Publix mold. I really like that Publix is protective in staffing employees with disability and they train them exceptionally well.

Best produce in a grocery store in town. Has value options but also has higher quality options of most products. Lines are pretty short usually too.

Really good selection, but a bit more expensive than some. Well worth it for the atmosphere, cleanliness and attitude of the employees. Love shopping there!

Deli has great food, but the staff is short tempered and they will not have it out on time. Had an order to pick up at 9 am and wasn’t out till 9:54 ☹️Sad that such good food comes with poor service.

Very clean, great atmosphere, super friendly staff. A great place to shop for the basics as well as the higher end items.

I only come here because it has the best sushi you can get at the store and macaroons to die for! Also found my favorite soup here that no one else seems to carry. I cant complain about prices because their sushi is no more expensive than Krogers, and I cant find macaroons anywhere else (not that I looked super hard).

The made to go sandwiches are very fresh and delicious. Plenty of selections for the cold cuts and fresh bread. The employee was attentive and friendly. Overall, the supermarket was very clean, including the bathroom. If you are tired of eating greasy and unhealthy fast food on the road, Publix is a great option for a pit stop.

This is a Publix with a full butcher shop. Try the Feta and Basil stuffed chicken breasts. Delicious

Groceries from Publix were left on my front porch but I did not order groceries. When my children got home from school, they called to tell me. I contacted Publix, spoke to someone named Taylor who told me I would have to call Instacart and let them know they left the groceries at the wrong house. I told him I was working, was calling out of the goodness of my heart and had already spent more time on this than I had available. He said, Instacart deliveries the groceries, not us. I said, but you got paid for the groceries that someone does not have. If you want my address, I will give it to you and you can call Instacart but I am not spending any more time on this. He said, Okay. Thats fine. and hung up. He did not care in the least that someones groceries, some perishable I believe, were not at the right place nor were they going to be notified. This is why I ALWAYS shop with Kroger.

Best Floral quality ANYWHERE!!! Their cut flowers last a long time. A dozen roses lasted over 2 weeks. We bought a mixed bouquet June 30th. Today is the July 20th. 90% of the flowers look as fresh as the day they were bought. They are just now starting to fade 3 weeks later!

Only place to shop. I love it it has lots of stuff you would find at trader joes. You can gi and have lunch they have a hit bar and make sandwiches. The veggies and fruit is always fresh. the only place in town i can get dandelion leaf for my salad. They carry lots of craft beers and the regular ones. Workers are nice. This is no walmart and it is a little more expensive but worth it. . walmart is burger king publix is a Mortons steak house.

2 stars because its clean and nice.. not 5 stars because the prices are outrageous.. other stores pricing are competitive.. Publix is in a league of their own.. example the same brand and flavor of a protein drink at Walmart is 1.94 some times 1.74 at Publix 3.29 not sure if thats a mark down but even if its not, there is no sense in prices like that... its all from the same distributors... whos making a killin in this racket... sorry publix

This store is very clean, fully stocked at all times and the staff is great on customer service. A little more pricey compared to Walmart, but the Walmart here in town has gone down, its not clean staff is rude. With that being said, Publix is worth the little extra price and I sold as a full time shopper here at Publix. Dont ever loose your appeal.

Ill admit that before Publix came to Cookeville, I didnt understand why everyone loved them so much. I get it now. Publix is next level as far as grocery stores are concerned. Somehow, they have figured out how to hire people who are actually NICE & HELPFUL to customers! The store is clean and well-organized. They have great BOGO deals. And out of all the stores in town, they have done the best with Covid protocols since the virus started.

The whole store is chock full of different goods that can be hard to find anywhere else. Its convenient that I can simply find it all in one place. However, it also has good quality in its goods. Overall a pleasurable experience and I will return.

With times being the way they are i think we should be very careful of what we eat. Shopping at Publix takes the worried away. Customer Service is WOW! I had a diabetic attract I was sweating profusely, Ken the manager immediately.came to my rescue. Some say too pricey but I say better to be safe than sorry! Try it and see

A little pricy and like a Hy-Vee if are familiar with those. Extremely clean. Good prices on the food court style food you can get there and tastes way better then competition.staff very friendly as well which is a plus to other stores. It definitely has its place in the grocery store chains.My only complaint is the prices on SOME items are beyond a smaller markup. Pay attention to the deals might find same product cheaper elseware if your on a budget. If not, then its the place to be.

The associates are always very friendly and helpful, and their 8 PC mixed fried chicken is not only reasonably priced, but its quality tends to be better than KFC. Their sub sandwiches are better than the sandwiches from restaurants which actually specialize in that area, and the meals you get from the deli, the portions are HUGE!!

Publix may be a bit more expensive, but 95% of the time I find things that I cant find anywhere else.

They have a great selection of allergy friendly and gluten free items. Way more variety of allergy friendly items then other stores in the area. The only down side is they can be a little pricey but most of the specialty items are always pricey. As far as regular items they have a huge selection and some are priced low some are high. The staff however is great. They will help in any way they can. We had one associate go through and read ingredients with us on items to try to help us find what we were trying to find for our son. Definitely a great place to shop. When they dont have items we need they will usually special order for us since our sons items can be hard to find this has been limited due to covid but they are still great about trying to help.

Food is good for a lot more money than kroger or food lion. The employees aren’t friendly like the other states that publix are in. The company needs to fix these issues and the employees needs to be educated to smile (apparently) and help out customers.
