I’m from New York and my check engine light came on during vacation. I made an appointment at Palmetto Chevrolet. I’m used to sitting around forever just waiting for a diagnosis but the service guys were quick and thorough. Luckily it was an easy fix and I was out quickly. Mark Scott was very professional, responsive, and reliable. He answered all of my questions truthfully and immediately. He handled all of the (extensive) paperwork, requiring just my signature, and allowed me to interact with the online questions required by GM without interference. Johnny Collins was also very helpful getting my vehicle ready for pickup. The Used Car Manager was also very thorough and efficient with my trade-in. As this purchase was part of GMs buyback program, Palmetto also had to interact with the GM Customer Service folks during the processing that was required before the actual purchase. Mark also had a lot to do with making that as painless as possible. I bought my original vehicle from Palmetto, and they handled all of the service; thus, I came back to them for the replacement vehicle. Enough said?

The process was smooth and hassle free. My salesman Hal and the finance man Mark, were the kind of people you want to do business with, I was pleased with the total process.

I purchased my first brand new express work van. I was told I had a 3 year/36,000 bumper to bumper warranty. From day 1, driving the van down the road, the van has been pulling to the right. I took it back to the shop and I was told the rotor was off balanced.... at 15,000 miles. I was told the brakes was not covered in the warranty. Bumper to bumper means everything. If the brakes were bad at 15,000 miles, they should have been replaced. The steering wheel jumps when I go down the road. The problem was supposed to be fixed but it is not. I think you are trying to wait until my warranty runs out so I can pay for it. If I knew I was going to get this type of service, I would have purchased a Ford or Chevrolet. I have a 2004 Chevy truck and it holds in the road. I should get the same results with a 2020 van. The way I feel, if the van did not have a bumper to bumper warranty, dont say it does. Tell me what is covered. I want to know why if the van needs brakes why is it not covered? I called around to other dealerships and bumper to bumper means everything. I just want to know why is is not covered. I have to miss another day of work to get this fixed. I am not a person to complain, but I feel as if I am getting the run around. I am self-employed and every day that I miss work, I miss money. I thought purchasing a new van, I was getting the best.

When I had a fender bender with my 2020 Equinox I chose Palmetto Chevrolet body shop to do the work. They were great to work with and my car looks better than it did new. My dash was cracked but once I left my dash was cracked more and had a gap in between where it was cracked. Called and was told my dash was already cracked which I knew but it got more cracked while there. Now my service airbag light stays on and will not go off and it WASNT on before my GMC was taken there.

My husband had his truck towed to the dealership on a Sunday (they were closed, but it was there first thing Monday morning). I called Monday morning to ask for a diagnostic work up. Not only was the service manager very rude when I called Monday morning , but it took 3 days to hear back from them as far as what the issue was with the truck. They quoted me $1000 for a fuel pump. I declined repair, had to pay $50 for a diagnostic fee, and had the truck towed a few minutes down the road for a second opinion. The fuel pump was not the issue at all, it was an easy and inexpensive fix. Thankfully I got a second opinion!

I love the drive up early morning 7:30 am took me right in changed my oil and had me out the door in 45 min. Friendly people and coffee in waiting room, not sure but I think they have wi-fi also.

Along with my oil change, I needed an estimate for a dent in the front fender of my Equinox. When I asked what I needed to do, the attendant said she would take care of getting by car to the body shop. When I returned not only was my car finished with the service department, the estimate for repairs to the fender had been completed.

I was early was ready for a wait brought my book to read, was in and out in about 30 minutes. And as always GREAT customer service!

I came in early for an oil change, about 30 to 45 minutes before my scheduled appointment time at 9am. It was storming that weekend and I had to head out of town. I told the young lady at the service desk that it would be awesome if they would be able to get me done early so I could get ahead of the storm. I didn’t think that they would be able to do so because they were so busy. But I got my car back before my scheduled appointment time. That may seem small but that meant a lot to me as I was able to go ahead and get on the road to head to my destination and beat the storm. Thank you all so much!

Fast and courteous service.

We recently purchased a 2015 Chevy Spark, from a private owner.....with loooooow mileage!! Engine light came on in a month and it needs a thermostat replacement. Called Palmetto Chevy maint dept and the gentleman took his time to dig through the 10/yr/100K vehicle warranty and confirmed that the thermostat is covered under the warranty!!! Brought the car in and was ready the NEXT DAY!!!!Thanks Palmetto Chevy !!! Ill be back!!!!

I had low tire pressure in one of my tires. The main garage sent me across the street to the tire shop. They took care of the problem with very little waiting and I was able to be on my way. Oh, and the patch is holding, saving me the price of a new tire, I only had about 4,000 miles on my 2020 Equinox.

I thought I would never ride in my truck again, however Mr. Dustin and his great team put countless hours of hard work and sweat to bring it back to life. Excellent job. They went out of their way to make it back to MY TRUCK again. I had a few things that needed to get fixed once I got the truck back and they were more than happy to get things done and stand behind their work. Would recommend this place to anybody.

I usually give you 5 stars but you are asking so ill be honest. You kept my car for TWO WEEKS over an air conditioner sensor short warranty issue (ongoing problem since July/20) and the worst part is that you seriously did not communicate well with us. Nobody contacted us when we dropped off the car and rarely throughout the 2 weeks. When we asked for a loaner car, which we desperately needed, you went silent. Nobody even apologized. 2 stars is generous this time around.

First impressions are everything and my first impression was a 10! Being a business owner, I called them to order a part which was hard to find at my normal local stores. I had no problems ordering from the dealership. They were helpful and knowledgeable. Even went as far as emailing a diagram to ensure it was the correct part. Much to my surprise they even delivered when I had every intention on picking it up! What a great experience! I will call on them again for sure in the future! I was to the end of my ropes chasing down a mechanical gremlin in my 2012 Cruze and thanks to the guys over in the service department I finally feel comfortable driving my car the 45min drive to work and back without fear of it breaking down on me. They were extremely courteous and made me feel like my car was safe with them. Also caught a bit of humor on my dash cam from the mechanics lol now thats red! Thats the problem right there, its red 😂

Sent an employee to drop his work van off on a Saturday to be worked on tire valve issue (not covered under warranty or extended warranty?) He was told to drop off at 10am and it would be a 3 hour job. Didnt hear anything back so he called about 5pm and they said it wasnt ready and would need to stay there. Completely ignored the entire day and not even called back when promised as such. We bought the Chevy 2500 express workvan at this dealership along with extended warranty and have never has an issue.Since we have the extended warranty we have to use a dealership to complete repairs We were completely shocked at the level of customer service and and failed follow up as promised. Never have we been treated so poorly since we have been going there for our service needs.

My sales experience was not rushed. Everyone at the dealership was helpful and friendly. My salesman, Hal Stalnaker, was very helpful during the delivery of the vehicle.

My daughter purchased an used vehicle from another dealer with only 1 key, which she lost. I contacted Palmetto Chevrolet and with her identification, my identification and proof that she was the owner of the car, I was able to get 2 keys made while I waited. The staff was professional and courteous. They even called my daughter at work to ensure that she allowed me to get the keys at her request. Kudos to Randall in the Parts Department for making the keys up so quickly and spending the time to educate me on how to activate the new keys, a lengthy procedure. Im buying my next Chevy truck from Palmetto Chevrolet, a customer focused company.

But, after a few visits to that Service Department, under the leadership of Stanley Grainger, Ill go several miles out of my way to go there.Its a great staff and dealership, and, while they concede nothing to the newer places, looks like something from an era gone by.
