Guerras service members and mechanics are AWESOME. They do a great job at a reasonable price. They are straight forward with you and dont try to feed you any BS. As a female driver I really appreciate that. Whenever Im in town and need work done, I will always give them a call. Keep up the great work guys.

Oh my God, this place is awesome! Forget Freightliner. We were in and out the same day! We broke down in the evening, after hours. They let us come in any way, to do a quick look see. The two fellows who were at the shop at night were very knowledgeable and said they could work on it first thing in the morning. They knew right what needed to be done and were incredibly concerned about our time frame. Wow, what a great place. We will never use the big dealer shops again when we need service in the San Antonio area.

I dont understand all the negative reviews. My encounter was friendly, knowledgeable and expedient. Guerra Truck Center had been previously recommended to me so I tried them and walked away pleased. I was so pleased that I plan on using them for future repairs and upgrades. As a woman, I am always on guard in fear of getting taken advantage of, but was at ease within the first moments. No one wants repairs but as we know, they are necessary. I am confident that my future experiences will be met with positivity.

Truckers BEWARE. How much do you think one spark plug cost ? $5? No. All $15.00. They gave me a quote to change spark plugs&Wires including labor for $1200.They do charge minimum 2 hours of diag.-$124.00 each hour.Considering the fact that I told them the problem, I was still charged $248 for diagnostics.The ridiculously overpriced. I understand that a lot of people working, and everyone need to be paid, but this is not they way to rip off the people.

Fast and courteous. Knowledgeable

I have taken several trailers here for inspection. The service has always been helpful and polite, if not always fast. My trailers are small farm trailers and the big rigs are where Guerra makes their money, so sometimes an inspection takes a bit (I have never waited more than 20-30 minutes, though). I will continue taking my trailers that need inspection to GTC.

An expensive place to have work done,I can tell that some of the positive reviewers are fake,friends or family members.This used to be a good place,but they changed their m.o. I miss their friendliness and honesty,a shop that you knew had your back,but they probably didn t make as much money as they do now.We all make choices,they did theirs,I don t fault them for that,I am not their customer any more,but they were good and made me feel important when I was,like I said,they changed,I didn t.

I love this place has be had a lot of mechanics over the years but these guys really do a great job and the ladies up front make sure to keep in contact with and give you updates on what’s going on with your truck I would recommend them

I had my truck towed here, and was charged over $500 on bad service. Just to have road service tow me less than 3 miles, it was over $300. After that they charged me over 2 hours of labor, and they didnt find out the problem. They wanted to charge over 4 hours of labor when I told them to not do any work after 2 wasted hours. Another mechanic diagnosed the problem in less than an hour. In my opinion, this place ripped me off and I do not recommend it.

Excellent work, very fast and great customer service.

I called ahead with a semi truck that a Kenworth dealer had already told me probably needed an exhaust flex pipe even though the truck computer indicated it was an intake manifold pressure sensor (IMAP). I informed GTC of this and requested a concrete diagnosis. They called me back and told me the truck needed an intake manifold pressure sensor based on Cummins computer software (Insight). What? We already knew that and told them we knew that. They charged my $145 for the computer diagnosis anyway. I pulled out the exhaust flex pipe and sure enough it was leaking and I replaced myself for parts $800. Even after calling management and telling them what happened their response was that they are in the business of making money and even though the computer diagnosis only took 10 minutes that they still charge for 1 hour. Additionally, the manager informed me that if I had specifically told them not to run a computer diagnostic and only to change the exhaust flex pipe then that is what they would have done. I needed a confirmation not a computer scan that would tell me what I already knew. Dont waste your money with these guys!

For about 7 hrs a guy worked in my truck to diagnose it and could find the problem. Still I was charged 500 dlls. They did not fixed anything.

Im new to the trucking. And this place screwed me over good. They charged me $ $ 1047.10 per injector. And there are 4 of them. You do the math. And then changed 880.00 for labor for 2 thats$ 1760.00 grand total $5948.44 Not including TAX. .if thats not bad enough. They took my old injectors and got $1200.00 and kept that also . Later on i had an injector replaced by Kenworth .1.5 hour later i was on the road. KW charged me $1100.00 labor, injector .if I would have done all 4 at KW it would have been $3800.00 .different is $2148.44 plus $1200.00 in my old cores. $3348.44 I WILL NEVER GO BACK. OR SEND ANY DRIVER THERE. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP.

A few years ago,I would ve recommended this place without a doubt,they had a different system,different,lower labor prices than the local dealerships,Robert (the owner) was a great,friendly guy one could actually talk to,but all that changed,prices went up,the parts room is a store owned by different people,like the previous HONEST reviewer says,they upmark the prices and there is no credit for your old cores,but to each its own,I want to maximize my savings and get a job well done,this is not the place to do that at this time,but I wish them good,this is where we part company.

Very bad place, very bad customer service, my husband spent the weekend there they had him waiting for a whole day to fix the truck and then when he left he had to return because he continued with the problem the next day they told him that it was another problem and they wanted to charge him 2000 for a hose apart from the work that he had already paid for, nothing professional the owner with a very bad attitude really very unhappy with the treatment they gave my husband

The workshop is very large and has very good working tools ... but they do not have a pleasant place for the operator who is waiting for the truck.
