Mike was amazing! I am 65 years young and have decided I want to learn how to play a guitar. Mike tuned my guitar and showed me how to do it myself! He encouraged me to be kind to myself and promised me that I would learn to play the guitar. Mike gave me several great tips for learning to play the guitar. My fingers are sore but I am very excited. I played my very first song today. It doesn’t sound great but I did it! I am thankful I found Mike at Guitar & Music today! I am excited about my new adventure! Thank you Mike!

What great employees there!! I dont know anything about guitars, but made this one and trying to sell it and not only did they tell me all about the body but they wrote it all down for me as well! Then they suggest that I take pictures with this other guitar for comparison and SET THIS ALL UP FOR ME. I LOVE THIS STORE!

This store had exactly what I needed for my PA but the service was rude and disrespectful. I do not know much about music equipment so I asked a couple questions that apparently made the staff member think little of me. Could have been a bad day for them but it has lost me as a customer going forward.

The girl that was there was very rude and did not even bother to help me with a question I had regarding an instrument. Felt very unwelcome and not satisfied at all going to this store. Music and arts is a better store!

Bought a generic hard case for my Epiphone Les Paul and some new strings.Mike was super friendly and knowledgeable. We talked about using the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 for home recording. Im not local to Conroe, anymore, but this would be my go-to music source if I were.

Pretty much all types of guitar needs knowledgeable staff. A little pricey on some items but not bad on most.

I only had to pop in to grab a cable, but the service was excellent. Small place though, so Id suggest calling to see if they have what you want unless youre browsing or still undecided.

Brought in an old guitar for my son to get stringed a the owner not on restrung it but cleaned it up and polished it for me. Very cool and knowledgeable guy. Thank you for the help. Place is tucked in there but very quiet and nice lil guitar shop.

Went in hoping to find a cool shop. Instead I got 2 guys bumping jaws at each other about vibrating rocks and very little customer service. Needed a set of strings for my electric, kept trying to give me acoustic strings. Didnt really have what I wanted so made due with something else. Ive seen the reviews that say their prices beat Amazon, NO. Strings were $3-4 more than Amazon. They might can get whatever you want, but they only carry the cheap stuff (Squire, Epiphone, etc.) Not really much of a selection in the store. Ill be taking my business elsewhere.

Bought my fiance a mandolin here for Christmas and he loved it. He was very impressed with the sound and quality of the instrument. Mike with G&M was nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. He made the buying experience very easy.

The salesperson in the store was very nice and easy to talk to. He even let us know that they can order items in, and will beat the prices of any competitor! I didnt buy anything today, but would definitely go back to check the place out.

Rude and presuptious. Ive been playing guitar for almost 20 years, and i believe as a guitarist you should treat begginers the same as a rockstar as far as helping, teaching and learning. I was treated like a poser newb who was wasting their time, i used to go there for strings and pics, not anymore. At first i figured it was just a bad day for the clerk (older gentleman) then the next time i was treated the same. Regardless if i had never played and was thinking of trying or been playing the same lick 20 yrs i cant stand guitarist who look down on others because of their opinion of style, skill, or disposition even outside of professionalism. That being said the gentleman was knowledgeable, but rude and short to those he doesnt know personally it seems like.
