Here from WA state and impressed with this affordable store! Purchased Salmon from here and it was super fresh - even fresher than Costco! Also tried crab legs and they were super fresh and big. You can find almost anything here! The best part is no membership fees and they bag groceries for you!
Being from Corpus Christi, H-E-B is one thing i *used to* know. Im so disappointed in the lack of customer service, i dont know where to begin. Quite simply: unacceptable.It started with the change in a lack of cashiers, forcing customers to self check out. Couple that with horrible POS programming that forces you to bag items on the scale, not removing them & not enough bashing stations, it simply makes no sense. Compounded with the adhesive rose in pricing, exceeding what competitors are charging, Im disappointed.Im my most recent encounter, i saw they were open until midnight & needed to pick up a few vegetables. I should have gone to Kroger.Clearly the sign shows their hours... You know, where youd be looking. In speaking with the manager on duty, who made the announcement they would close at 11pm, he pointed to the other sign. Telling me, they couldnt change that sign.Im calling bull chips. There is no problem that cannot be resolved with enough time, money, and/or resources. This might require all 3, but it CAN and SHOULD be remedied. Well, that is a matter of opinion. For now, Ill skip at Kroger. Everyone used to be able to stay open 24h/day. At least Kroger and Walmart have hours posted correctly & dont insult their guests.Wtg PARTNER MOD. oops... I mean FAIL.
Update: I have to take one of the stars that was just awarded back. Not even one day later, employees are not able to figure out a simple coupon. Took 15 minutes, 1 checkout girl, 1 manager, then customer service to figure it out. I was just buying 2 items. I will continue to bring coupons in to this location to find out if coupons are this stores kryptonite.Ive noticed a difference in the last few weeks from this location. I raised from a 3 to a 4 because I believe the first impression was not the best one. The cleanliness and work ethic of the employees have taken this location to the next level. HEB definitely have a higher quality of meat than Kroger. I have noticed meat prices and soda can be a little on the high side. I understand that inflation is already in effect, but it may be that Im not used to the chicken and beef prices being as high as they have been lately.
I absolutely love this HEB best one Ive been to in the conroe area. Highly recommend. They have a bakery, the home cooking stand, sushi stand, fresh tortilla and chip area, and everything is so clean and nice and organized right.
I love the location. Generally has everything that I need at all times. Clean. Good staff. Isles could be wider so on those busy days expect it to get crowded. They are serving food on weekends again which I really like. Taste before you buy it a special treat.
Great experience... Had to promise to not use Kroger in Montgomery Texas any more... Never have enough cashiers open.. Waiting 40min to check out and the lines were down there aisles... Not to mention shelves and not stocked, Out of a lot of items. The only thing better would be to put an HEB in the city of Montgomery Texas.
My go-to grocery store. For over 20 years I have been going to Kroger. I moved and was closer to HEB... Boy I made a mistake going to the other grocery store for all of those years.The great thing about HEB is that it is huge for starters, but always have cashiers at the checkout lanes so the lines are not wrapped around the place, unlike the other store.
Heb is the only store we go to there people are great there products are the best
Ive been doing curbside here for over a year now and its always been great until recently. I make orders weekly, and these last 2 weeks a lot of my items were missing. Im not sure what the protocol is before the workers bring out the groceries, but at the VERY least I think they should check to make sure all the items are actually in the basket. The app did let me know that 3 of my items were out of stock, but when I called customer service to sort out the issues the lady I spoke with informed me that there were actually closer to 7 items that were out of stock, yet the app never told me this before I called. The other items that I did not receive mustve just not made it in the cart and out to my car. Im still waiting to be refunded my money for some of the items. Last week I decided to go up to the store later in the day to get my missing items which was a hassle because its about a 15 minute drive to the store. I wish they offered some kind of complementary free drop-off for missing items so I would not have to go back up to the store. Anyways, I still love H‑E‑B but unfortunately I dont think I will be doing curbside anymore. The third time is usually not the charm.
Always a good experience at HEB. I has not been to this location before. As always I was not disappointed. They had everything I was looking for.I enjoy checking my own groceries so Im happy they have that option.
I ordered a cake, and picked it up Sunday around 10:30 a.m.. It was one of the best cakes Ive ever had. Super fresh and delicious. I ordered a birthday cake and a custard cake. Both were big hits. I also love utilizing curbside from this location. This HEB is worth a bit of a drive for me.
Best store ever!!! If I can control the situation this is where i shop. Food always! Prices are amazing. They dont tend to hike prices like others do. They are simply the best store and company.
I get the bakery to make me a three layer cake at least twice a year for a couple special people they NEVER disappoint the cakes are always fresh and decorated beautifully love my HEB Bakery thanks guys best bakery in town.
This pharmacy is literally the worst and the technician is messing with people’s health in a highly dangerous way. I have spoken to my doctor MANY times who keeps reassuring me there are no problems with my prescription yet the girl behind the counter refuses to fill it and offered me someone else’s prescription with the same last name. I have literally been trying to fill a prescription for 3 weeks now. She refused to make phone calls to transfer and instead just said I had no refills…for 3 weeks….though I have had my doctor check multiple times and tell me I have a year’s supply of refills. My doctor has now written a new prescription and called the pharmacy….when I go to pick up she says “yeah. I called. No refills.”…..this is a disgrace.
I was hesitant to use curbside but caved and finally decided to try it. CURBSIDE IS AMAZING. No complaints and service is excellent. Saves so much time and money. I love my H‑E‑B!
This HEB does a great job with curbside. Any substitutions make sense and Im able to limit those if necessary. The produce and bakery are especially great, as is the Sushiya bar.
I find what Im after 90% of the time which is pretty darn good. Their selection is always changing; bringing in new, or hard to find items like these green mangos my wife was desperately after. Sale items rock, placing the coupons right next to the items on the shelf. Ended up saving $3.70 on this French yogurt the family loves; Oui. Lines move quick, staff is always friendly, prices are almost always lower than their competitors, and parking is plentiful. Only gripe would be when meeting with the cashier. More times than none, priced items arent in the system, and some poor soul has to run throughout the store to get a confirmed $, as it isnt scanning. I think this might be contributed to the high volume of items coming in and out daily. Still a pain; backs up the line. Great place overall however.
I love HEB, but this store is the absolute worst for selection and customer service. I cringe when I have to go to this particular store. They are always out of multiple items on my list and always overcrowded.
They have always been my neighbor store, but lately they seem to have a real problem with getting products in the store that I used to buy all the time, like Ritz peanut butter crackers, Stok coffee, lunch meat, Oscar Meyer Turkey bacon, etc. Or they push their own versions of those items over the national brands. I have to shop at two different stores to pick up what I need now. The other stores, like Target or Walmart, do tend to have those items, so I dont think it is a supply chain issue. Not sure what is going on. If it keeps up, I might just have to switch permanently rather than have to go two or three places and waste my time.
Curbside pickup almost always has the last parking spots blocked off on either side. Even when you ask management to open the parking spaces up when all of the other spots are taken they do not. The only reason they block off those parking spaces is so the employees do not have to walk that far. It seems they are more worried about their employees having to walk a couple of extra feet than having available spaces for customers. Even if they are not busy and if a curbside customer wants to park in the back they should be able to. Please stop blocking off the parking spaces!
Sorry, Ive done this one multiple times with multiple pictures and elaborations already.❤️ Once again I absolutely love every single thing about my HEB, most of all their Texas Pride!❤️ Buying produce from local markets and farmers, if you pay attention to the boxes you will notice that most everything is made in Texas most of all San Antonio.❤️ Theyre awesome all the way from their cast-iron Texas shape cornbread pans, to their Creamy Creations Houston Texans ice cream!!! ❤️Ive got to go there tomorrowI promise I will get some really good close-ups of the meat so you can see the marbling, their produce so you can see how fresh and lovely it looks. Howell snap some shots of their beautiful salmon fillets and all that as well because I love MY HEB! ❤️🤠🇨🇱🏴☠️💯‼️

I had the terrible experience of being hit by a car in this stores parking lot. When I was on the ground a member of management was very rude and shoved a pen & paper in my face demanding my personal information. At this time only 1 entrance was open, to control customers during pandemic be very careful in this parking lot no one does more than my HEB, yeah right, that tag line is a lie I have already complained to corporate & nothing happened

I love the seafood department my usual favorite HEB associate was not working today. But I usually have Caine in Seafood prepare my order & it is always perfection. He is the reason we buy our seafood at HEB.

HEB, or Heavy Elderly Babes as I like to call it, never ceases to amaze me. Great place to make friends, like Owen, whom I met in the parking lot. He silver tipped his pony tail and it caught my eye. Needless to say we had plenty to talk about.
Really like this store, we mostly do pickup and they are on point with it! Most of the people bringing grocerys out are friendly and explain everything well. The store has tons of stuff!

May you all be warned about this HEB store. My wife was hit by a car while WALKING IN THE CROSSWALK headed back to the car with a carriage full of groceries. While she lay on the ground injured, an HEB representative came out and, without showing any care for her at all, forced paperwork in my wifes face to sign. Also, they will not release the camera footage of the accident unless we get a court order. Clearly, the HEB and its owners dont care at all about their customers.
I recently had a terrible experience at the HEB on N. Frazier. We bought 3 racks of ribs got them home to cook them and they had a weird smell. So we immediately took them back to the store where we were questioned, the was manager called who in turn watched camera footage to determine that we were just there and bought the ribs, instead of just checkupswith the cashier. I have never had any grocery store give me such a hard time when returning recently bought rancid meat. After waiting half an hour the manager finally came back and handed us a receipt and told us we were at the mercy of the customer service representative. I have always loved HEB but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth.
Thank you! I can finally shop somewhere without being harassed for not wearing a mask due to a medical condition. I find the employees here to be very friendly and personable. This place is very clean and well stocked. They were missing a few of my favorite organic items, but that doesn’t bother me considering I can finally shop in peace!

So,I wanted to send my family some delectable treats for Valentines day. But,the cost of choosing online retailers can get pricey. I checked with HEB bakery to see if,it would cost less. I was greeted with kindness and a smile from Crystal. She gave me great customer service and was extremely helpful on giving me options of treats to choose from. I decided to go with tulip cups and chocolate dipped strawberries. She made them fresh for me as I had plans to ship first thing Monday morning. This way treats arrived as fresh as possible. Oh yes,treats are shipping to Michigan. This will be a wonderful surprise for them...getting Texas fresh fruit. Thank you Crystal for going out of your way to make these treats special for my family. The end cap had Frito lay chips 2 for $3. So I grabbed Cheetos and fungus. They charged me 3.78 and 1.78. And the pitcher with the self pour was 4.97. The nozzle leaks. Not to mention the soda is twice as high as Wal-Mart or Kroger. Not Happy with my HEB this trip at all😞
I think its great theyre doing the curb side service but when I see our seniors walking all the way to the bck of the parking lot thats a problem!! Ive helped a few seniors put theyre groceries in theyre car, spoke with the manager about maybe moving the curbside service further out I mean come on Heb!

They cant keep much in stock (not even their own brands) and they are moving everything in the store so its impossible to find even if they do have it. Lots of empty shelves.

We may have caught an ox beetle in the parking lot to take home as a pet and then we may have accidentally allowed it to escape in the store. A partner (phillis I think?) was immediately helpful by grabbing the bug into a bag and then getting us a container he could not escape from so we still got to still keep it. We are very sorry but very grateful. Thanks so much, HEB!!

The store is wonderful. Always clean well-maintained in well-stocked. Customers are always happy because the employees are happy. Much nicer than the one on 75 in Conroe. First off let me say that I love HEB cakes. I’ve ordered from different stores around the city, and they always do a phenomenal job! I even had my wedding cake made there. That being said, I ordered a cake for my daughters 5th birthday and when I came to pick it up last night the icing on the top had melted and was dropping. The lady did her best to fix it, and even added extra icing to the sides to help support the top. She did a great job for not being a cake decorator! (She stated that she’s not a decorator but did her best) when we woke up this morning, the icing had fallen down again and the cake was ruined. Of course we will still eat it, and I’m sure it’ll taste amazing, but I was embarrassed to even bring the cake to the party or take pictures of it. While I was waiting for her to fix the cake, I was looking at the other pre-made cakes they had on display; I was floored. The cakes were sloppy, icing was crushed in many places, and very uneven. You can tell that whoever is making the cakes at this H‑E‑B is very inexperienced. I would never purchase any of the cakes they had on display in this store!
H‑E‑B is the only grocery store I shop at anymore. They have the best selection of Texas products, the best selection of beer and craft beer, and the best produce and meat market of any grocer in Texas. Most importantly, they have the best customer service. This is like the Chick-fil-A of grocery stores. I will say that as much as I love the meal simples, I’ve noticed they’ve gotten more expensive in the last couple years so I no longer buy them as much, whereas they used to make up about half of my meals.All things considered, H‑E‑B is the way to go!!

HEB is the most freezing good time on a hot day. Their tomato plants brought home with them a horrible sporing fungal disease which has rapidly spread to my other tomato plants and is killing them. I’m disgusted by what is happening in my garden and I have only HEB to blame!!!Otherwise, it’s a nice little big store with a huge variety of produce and grocery. Their meat prices are pretty high and beef does not go on sale often enough. Live seasonal crawfish and now a bbq restaurant at the front of the store with weekly trivia night and beer, also bbq to go for $10 a pound (sliced beef) but it’s the best damn bow I’ve ever tasted!

Shopping Curbside for Months has been one of our better experiences through the Covid-19 trials. The site is user friendly, product substitutions are well managed, the associates are courteous and work hard to please us, both on phone and in person. We only shop once a month and go at the earliest slot on the schedule.Would recommend this store to anyone who might be dissatisfied with other places. Thank You My HEB!
