My Husband put something on layaway . He paid $250.00 and he came back to get the item he was 6 days late do to having to be quarantined for covid!!! Patricia Long (Manager) was VERY RUDE to my Husband and I. She actually yelled at us! I can not believe someone in the customer service industry would be sooooo unfriendly? And especially someone in a MANAGERS position? We went to pay the rest of the $866.00 she said he was 6 days late there for she was keeping the $250.00 !!! I can not believe that as a Manager she could not find a amicable solution!!! HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

This places an absolute nightmare. They make everything complicated and waste a bunch of time. I will not be returning to the store. They wouldnt let me buy anything because I recently moved and hadnt changed the address on my DL yet.

What a messed up place they dont know how to test gokd. Took my brand new chain to get it tested she broke the chain. They dont know know what the hell they doing. Run away from this place. Worst pawn shop ever.

After going to another pawn shop to see what my jewelry was worth, I headed to Cash America. The first place I went was B&W. This guy named Bobby spent just a few short moments with me and did scratch tests on a few pieces. Then, he put it all on a scale and offered me $175. I declined. He said that I should just take the money and run.Then, I turned the corner and went to Cash America. This girl named Ashley took out a magnet and was doing tests. I asked her why she didnt scratch it like the last place. She said she did not want to damage my jewelry! The other guy did not care if he damaged it, obviously. She really took the time to weigh each piece and took several pieces out! Her offer was $350!!! I was so shocked with the difference in quotes!I called Bobby back and he said that those guys buy your jewelry and sell it the next day, that is why they offer more. He said that he may sit on it for two to three years before he sells it. Well.....hmmmm. Who should I sell my jewelry to???? Least if Bobby is sitting on it, I will know where it will be. Safe and warm!

VERY TERRIBLE PLACE . I had gold they “tested it “ a lady there didn’t even test it . She said because it looked old it wasn’t real. She went on about if she put the acid on there it would burn a hole in the “fake gold” I went ahead and said it was okay because I was positive it was real gold. Then she brought it back and said it immediately satarted to eat a hole though th gold when I examed the gold there wasn’t even any acid or anything put on my gold ! I went to another pawn shop and got 80$ for the SAME piece of gold. They even tested it . I will not be back.

This place is cheap and will try to screw you out of your stuff. My husband brought his Springfield Amory XD and took a loan out on it. A week later. when we went to get it out, he was put on hold and they said we could come back on the 6th if we hadnt heard from them, then 6th rolled around and he went up there at NOON, and it was already tagged as BRAND NEW for $299, ready to be sold. So just to let everyone be aware, you better be there first thing to get your stuff out, and dont overpay for something that is NEW because more than likely it isnt.

I have dealt with Cash America Pawn in Conroe for at least 10yrs never had an issue. The last couple of years Ive tried to deal with a particular employee by the name of Jesse exclusively but on my last visit when I went in to purchase, what was marked as, a 42 flatscreen tv for $270 only to get home, mount it & realize its actually a 35. I call to the store & asked to speak to Jesse & explain what just happened only to have her say to me, very sarcastically, what do you want me to do about it? I cant make the tv any bigger. I returned the tv & actually got a 42 that was $199. Cant understand how a tv thats smaller is priced more but instead of wanting to return my money to my card they wanted to give me store credit, ummm, NO THANK YOU! I will never return to this Cash America ever again.

Stopped by yesterday, got a loan on my laptop. I said i had some new power tools in the box i wanted to sell. 2 dewalt drills. They said i needed a reciept. So i came back today with the reciept and the drills. Asked how much i wanted, i said 200. I paid 279 and they are new in the box. Asked why i dont just return them. We are very short on money and i have a family to support. Bought with credit. Need the cash. Nothing illegal or wrong with that. They look at me like a vandal. Guy says i cant give u anywhere close to 200, they are 129 online. Really... show me where so i can get 2 for the price of 1. Lies. Then im told sorry we cant buy this since you paid credit. So... lets go over this. I can pawn an item new with reciept, but only if i paid cash or debit. If that were the case i would return it full refund cash or debit to lowes where i got it. Im really excited that i wasted my time and my wifes time for nothing. We really needed some cash.

Your pawn brokers are liers. I pawned an item which i normally never max out the loan amount. I sent my wife to pawn the same item and your broker bald face lied to her. Not knowing her husband who was in the car had pawn the same item not long ago. LOCATE ON BAYAREA ACROSS FROM CHURCHS NO GOOD , DISHONEST CLOWNS
