Had a really good experience at this location. I came in to purchase a lawn mower about a week ago, and was in and out fairly quickly. One of their stockers, Doug (I believe), was very helpful with the process. Will be back!

Pick up in store works very well. Being able to shop online and selecting purchases is about as convenient as you can get. Conroe store provided easy in and out pick up on my online purchase.

Found item I wanted quickly and at a good price and ease of ordering. We have purchased several items in the past from Northern Tool and were very satisfied.

I have never had such wonderful customer service as I did in your store today. The cashier, Doris, was so pleasant and helpful and considerate to my needs. I was looking for others things in the area and she also helped me with that. I would drive 500 miles out of my way to go to this store!

Worst customer service from Manager, Edwin and Repair guy Jeff ever. We should have purchased from Home Depot. Purchased power washer for over $700 and the oil to put in it from the helpful sales staff. However according to Jeff and Edwin they sold us the incorrect oil to put in the water pump part of the machine. Bought washer on Friday, put it together Saturday added oil and it wouldnt start. Took it to the store and found out we didnt have enough oil in it, safety measure for the motor. They finished filling it up and sent us home. Used it less than 2 hours on Sunday and the water pump started making a loud noise. Turned it off and took it back to the store. Repair (Jeff) wasnt in that day so we left it for him to look at on Monday. He called and said the motor siezed and we would have to purchase a new pump for it. Over $300 more for a brand new machine. We said no, they should repair it under the warranty. After a couple of phone calls back and forth with Jeff who told us the reason the pump seized is we used the wrong oil in the pump. (The oil they sold us for the machine in the first place). It isnt covered under warranty so that is why we have to pay for it. We said no again. The Manager Edwin finally called and told us if we paid the repair labor fee at $80/hour, Jeff would take it apart and clean up the oil that gelled in the motor, then it should work. What about the original need to buy a new motor??? Again we said no. Edwin also told us that the machine already came with oil in it (water pump) and we should not have added the oil they sold us because it caused the problem. The directions specifically said to add oil to it. All we wanted them to do is fix it and return it to us. That didnt and hasnt happened. This all started in May. We will never buy another product from this company again, and would advise others to shop elsewhere also.

Went to Northern Tools today in Conroe to pick up some blasting media.Doug offered to help me load my cart and even went outside with us and helped load them into my truck. Very nice young man and his help was greatly appreciated. Thanks Northern for having great employees like Doug.

I like this place. It is reasonably priced, but good quality for most of their products. Although it is all their own brands for the most part, it seems to be good solid mid grade tools and equipment. I have spend hundreds of dollars here over the years.

I liked the prices overall. Not cheap, but not too expensive for some name brand name things. The reason I have 1 star and not 3 is because of the experience there. For the most part, employees asked everyone near me if they could be helped, well, everyone but me. Also, there was a lady that followed me throughout the store for some reason, but I have my assumptions..... The only good experience I had was the young lady at the register. She was very nice. More than likely I wont be coming back.

Had a very pleasant experience with Northern tool in Conroe, I went in look for a certain type of bolt and the store associate Lacie was very knowledgeable and help me find exactly what I was looking for. They have a customer for life!

This store gets 5 stars for outstanding customer service. The assistant overheard what I was looking for, saw the shelf was empty and got one from tbe back. The counter staff xheerfully did a price check and saved me $20. The associate outside saw me with a large sheetrock hoist and offered to help load the item. Thanks for making my Friday better.

Better service than the one on I45 by AirtexOr the one in Corpus Christi these last one they need better training on customer service and knowledge of the duties.

Ample parking a store that is always clean, well-lit, easy to navigate and find what I need. There is always someone to help me, and they usually come to help me, I dont need to find them. Prices are great and the products are of good quality. Northern Tool is my first stop for my needs.

Have nothing but great things to say about this store, I went in looking for a impact wrench wasn’t too sure on which one I should get, As confused as I was Mr. Edwin came over to help me out, he was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what impact wrench would best work for me. I was looking for something that wasnt on the shelf the lady check her computer and went to the store room and got it. She did her job great Got wonderful service. You cant get any better.

During my visit on a Friday afternoon, were doing customer service, price checks, checkouts all from a single clerk, which made the process very slow. In person, the staff were not very friendly, and didnt manage the checkout process well. I can say is that when I called on the phone before going to the store, they did check a price and confirm that it was the same as on the web and in stock at the store, which I appreciated. While what I wanted was on sale and in stock, I saw the same item on Clearance, which was priced $10 (~15%) less than the Sale price.. However, Clearance to them doesnt mean what I understand to be Clearance, it evidentially means Open Box - Return; and they would not honor the Clearance price except for the Returned Item. It did have some minor scratches, which was okay, but I would have had to disassemble it to fit it in the back of my truck under the bed cover, which made it a no go. I would also like to add that on a previous visit, (1) I had a coupon that did not say online only that they would not honor, and (2) the size of the mower replacement wheel that matched the Size on the wheel/tire that I was looking to replace (as stamped on the tire) was not the same physical size and would not fit, which seemed very strange to me and staff could not explain why.

Once I found someone to help me find a item I was looking to buy, he was more interested in arguing with me about he knowing more about pressure washing (I’ve been in the pressure washing business for 15 years). I just went to Huffco in Conroe, got the part and for less money.

Pure incompetence. Ordered and paid online. Recieved confirmation that order was pulled and ready for pickup. Drove 30 minutes to collect the order only to learn only one of two items was available and the other had been sold to a walk in or not pulled.Waste of time. Go someplace else.

READ THE FINE PRINT BEFORE YOU DO ANY BUSINESS WITH NORTHERN TOOL!!! Till today I loved this store making it one stop shop for tools. Then came their 3100 PSI. pressure washer that loved after using my dads. When the need came along for me to buy one I did without thinking twice. Excited to get to work on my deck it worked great for the first four hours then it would keep dieing and backfiring as it shut off. It would be hard to start after it shut off, but would eventually start again only to run for a minute to only repeat the process.This is where they lost me as a customer. Today I went in to exchange the pressure washer. That is when I was told there are no returns or exchanges they only service them no matter time since purchased or problem. Sounding like something that isnt legal, but I gave into the service of it. That was when I was handed paperwork to sign. Thinking to myself I better read this unlike any other time in my life and I am so glad I did. The top part where most people stop reading was fine until you hit the last two paragraphs. The first one AUTHORIZES THEM TO CHARGE YOU to service any item you leave at a minimum of $40. I was told they never do that for items purchased within 30 days. Yeah Im not buying that ether. Last paragraph and most important one on the whole page YOU WAVE ALL RIGHTS TO HAVE A JURY TRIAL OR TO BE HEARD IN FRONT OF A JUDGE. This is what stopped me dead in my tracks. Now stop for a second, just to have them look at a defective pressure washer I could be charged and I have to give up my protective rights. When I refused to agree to that I was told then we will not look at it and I will need to load it back up myself and take it home. Good thing Im a big guy that can handle it on my own making feel bad for customers who cant.Now Im at home with a broken down brand new pressure washer figuring out what my options are at this point. Shame on you Northern Tool, this is no way to treat customers causing you to lose a customer that used to brag about how well I was treated by you. Please read your other reviews, because your service department seems to be where everyone runs into problems with you.

We came in on 7-08-2020 to buy a pressure washer and about 350.00 worth of Milwaukee pack-out products. We were kicked out because we were not wearing a mask. The masks are only required in areas social distancing cannot be practiced. There may have been 6 people in the entire store. A manager with common sense would have allowed us to make a considerable purchase. We will never be back, thank God for amazon.

This store is amazing! These guy and gals will do anything for you to keep you as a customer. As soon as you walk in your welcomed at the door. A sales associate will greet you at the door and take you to the items youre there for and the manager is the best manager Ive ever seen. If you shop anywhere else, you just bypassed the best customer service youll ever have.

Be ready to play the coupon code game. They send a sale flyer in the mail. It also contains information about coupons. You arrive at store, they are always just out of stock on the sale item. Then you manage to find a good deal on something else in the store, and go to check out, and get information from the cashier that the current coupon code does not apply to the items that you did find because they are already on reduction. So you either leave with nothing that you needed, or dont use the coupon you brought in.

As I read the comments, most of the low stars are customer service related. Thats my problem too. I needed a carberator for the genarate 5500. I asked for an average cost of the carberator & they couldnt give it without the P/N & S/N ok fine. I got the information came back and now they have a unavailable sign in front of the window with the blinds pulled down. This was at 4:50. The #1 problem with most businesses today is customer service. I will perchance the carburetor online for $18.00. This is way brick and mortar is suffering. This isnt the first time Ive had this problem hear but it will be the last!

I tried to order a replacement air compressor head from the website, however it wont allow seperate billing and ship to addresses. Due to this I called my order in and made sure they put the correct billing and shipping addresses in, fast forward to the day I was to receive it, well i checked my email for tracking so i can see when it will be here. Well I find an email saying they are not shipping it because they did not like my addrress, which i have been receiving things for 12 years at that address.I called there main offices and I was put on hold for 10 minutes then hung up on me, I called back and talked to them, and they offered no help, so I had to put off a job and re-order it through a different source

The customer service representatives have been helpful, BUT the store manager Dana does not have customer satisfaction on his priority list. We bought a shelf there for 250$ and 3 of the 12 shelves were damaged. He was Rude and not helpful. We had to Drive 40 minutes south to the Houston store to get a solution.

Bought a pressure washer powerhouse 3100 psi and used it one day and it died on me every 30 minutes. A brand new pressure washer shouldnt be dying at all. Took it back to the store the only thing they would do was put it in their shop to fix it. I own a business i need the pressure washer to make money. They wanted to put it in the shop and didnt have a time frame of when is get it back because they had 40 other machines in front of me. Never will i buy a powerhouse product again and i will never go to this store again.

Stopped in to buy a winch and ended up with a winch, power washer and tractor sprinkler. Salesman very knowledgeable and helpful, explained features of comparable products and those purchased. So often you go to the chain stores and you know more about the products than the people working there or cant get help finding something. Ill comeback here again.

Each time Ive done business with Northern Tool and spend a good sum of cash, you can not get a cash refund or credit to your card; even if the product is bad or damaged. Ive bought several big ticket items that didnt last the 30 day store warranty, I even bought extended warranty. Northern Tool will only return the same product or a gift card for the amount of the item, minus the cost of extended warranty. Northern Tool will NOT RETURN your money !! I only buy items I dont expect to return or items that can be thrown away when broke or worn out. So Be Warned !!

Love the quality of tools here. I also purchased a wagon, broke it, and they took it back without hassle. (I was pulling under weight but probably a bit harder then should be)I love this place. Highly recommend their brands ( especially Klutch)
