Really great music store, a guitar players dream. Very warm and welcoming vibes. I wish I could’ve spent more time in there. They have some very cool and eclectic gear. I got a well-loved tele reissue and I’m thrilled with it. Whether you’re looking for a reasonable starter instrument for your kid or you’re a Grammy nominated national treasure, Mullis has something for everyone.

I really can’t recommend this place enough. After my most recent experience I knew I had to give a review. Mullis Music took in one of my Jazzmasters for a few adjustments and to have a new set of tuners installed. I’m blown away by how great this guitar is now and I cannot put it down. I love their store- it is small but in my experience that’s what you want. This is a real home town music store. I have always been treated with respect and courtesy when I go there. The prices are very good, the repair work is top tier, and they have some really nice gear for sale there. I stand by these folks 100% and will always do business with them. Thanks Mullis Music!

Nice store, very knowledgeable. Mainly string instruments and some drums. Lots of items overall and Other instruments as well. Way better than any big stores that overcgarge for EVERYTHING. Great place to check out , do some picin and then grab a pint and some potato salad next door at LRP. Thats a good day. Support local business!

The store was well stocked with merchandise. The young man who spoke to me was nice. The vibe that was in the store was unwelcoming. The other associates there were watching as I tried to walk around and look. I just didnt feel comfortable there

My son came in today to get help with playing a note on his guitar, and he was made to feel very uncomfortable and treated rudely. I wonder if someone that looked like them would have gone into the store, if possibly they would have been treated differently. They acted as if they did not want to help him. We will never go there again!

Great selection and easy going guitar store...

Iv:v been a customer since 1993.I went there today for a couple fender parts.They found them in 30 seconds.If you need you guitar set up or change the whole pick up.Go here.Last but not even least. is the greatest guitar instructor ever.. John Burris.i know he has put up with my u2 lessons for ever.

These guys know their stuff. They helped me with a repair on my Strat that I could not have done myself. Very chill. Highly recommend.

I have walked out of Mullis Music with some of the best guitars I have owned, period. An excellent place to buy, come back and then trade up for an even better instrument. If you want a vintage acoustic or electric, this is the place.

The guitar tech at Mullis Music has very reasonable rates. Actually, I was pleasantly surprised at their competitive prices in general considering this is a smaller main street store (compared to chains like Guitar Center, Sam Ash, etc). With the exception of their higher end stuff, their guitars are at a level that you can touch and explore unlike Guitar Center/Sam Ash where you have to wait in line forever to get an associate to bring something down to your level. Mullis will be the place that I go for my guitar and mandolin repairs/shopping from now on.

I have bought several instruments there ($3000 or so) but no more. They sold me a guitar that had a broken truss rod and would not make it right . Since them, I not bought so much as a pic from them. I took the guitar to two luthiers. They both said the same thing that it would cost too much to repair and if they sold it they would have refund the money.

Picked up an Orange AD5 today and these guys are just killer. Spent 20mins waiting in Guitar Center yesterday and was never even spoken to. As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted and they were eager to help me in any way they could. I was able to demo the AD5 in store with my own guitar and in the end am very happy with the purchase and choosing to shop local.

The best in superb quality vintage electric and acoustic guitars as well as great new Seagull acoustics. The shop work here (setup/repairs/installs) is stellar quality as well. You may even run into celebrities here (Andy Summers of the Police has bought here, Joe Bonamassa drops by from time to time!)

Id recommend shopping at Mullis Music to anyone who wants great service, fair prices and some very unique vintage guitars (as well as great selection of new stock items too).Ive purchase a variety of items from Mullis over the past few years. Theyve even ordered items for me that they didnt stock.

Great store! If you like strats or teles they have a better selection than any store Ive ever seen besides gruhn guitar in Nashville. Super knowledgeable staff! Watching Randy take a right handed guitar and play it upside down is also pretty neat! Not a big box store, just what a music store should be!

I went into Mullis Music with an idea of the sound I wanted from a guitar. Ive played 12 string acoustics for 40 years - but Im just getting started... I was ready for a 6-string. I did not do any research on the Internet before shopping. After playing about 6 instruments, I found the Seagull Maritime SWS SG and brought it home. My price was at least $20 less than anything I could find online. The reviews were great on the Seagull too. After doing the post-sale research, I would have purchased the same instrument.My point is that I used their expertise in selecting an instrument. I didnt have to pay more for their help and I supported a local business. As a plus, I came home with it the same day.As a musician, I would never go to one of the big box stores ever again - Sorry Sam Ashe.

Came to the store to get some parts for my Fender Stratocaster, was told they dont carry any parts for humbuckers and that I would need to order them online myself. The gentleman that had helped me was a bit standoff-ish and did not even greet me when I walked in. By far one of the worst experiences Ive had professionaly at a guitar shop here recently. Ordering screws online for humbuckers is like playing the lottery a lot of the time as far as fitment goes. Really a shame, considering the last time I came in for strings, I got about the same kind of customer service.

Best place around ! Support the real music stores instead of the big corporate machines. You wont miss them at this store.
