Less than a year ago I bought an XL rooftop tent. The straps that go over the cover have become frayed due to the wind while driving. Spoke with Ricardo at Smittybilt and he said he will get them out today and I will have the new ones tomorrow. Very pleased at the easy process. I will update this review after the straps come in.Straps arrived on 8-1-19 (a couple days later). Still very satisfied with customer service. Thank you Ricardo! Highly recommend the entire company!

I bought a top for my Daughters 2000 Wrangler for Christmas and was not able to put it on til Spring because of the wonderful Illinois Winters. The quality of the top was amazing but had to return it because it would not fit the frame. Even though I had the top for several months, they took it back and refunded my money. I was amazed that they did after and extended time. When I need Jeep Parts Smittybilt Depot will be the first place I look. Thanks so much for your service A 5 star rating for sure

I ordered the wrong seat covers and called for an RA - I was on hold for way too long. I then sent sent 2 email requests for an RA and nothing, its been over a week. Ill sell them on eBay. The price was so good I was willing to place another order for the correct set before sending the others back? Not sure I want to do that.

Avoid these products. I install aftermarket accessories for a living and smittybilt is easily one of the worst products I deal with. Incomplete installation instructions, improper hardware, and misaligned parts are the norm for this company.

IIt seems to be the consensus that Smittybilt Depot has poor customer service. VERY TRUE. ON their site they have a price match guarantee. They would NOT honor a legitimate match. Provided the website with the price and was told that the price I indicated was below “retail price”. I assisted in showing him the site that listed the price and he said. “I am on the page but I only see the list price and not the sale price”. He simply “could not see” the price that was listed on the page, therefore could not honor the price. Look at the reviews here...will they be in business in another year? I’m taking bets they will not.

Im pretty sure this is the correct location to post this but seeing the unfortunate reviews below its hard to tell. If Ivan in customer service is here than Im in the right place. It took a while to get to talk to someone about my concerns but once Ivan got on the phone it was all good news. I had a weird and Im sure confusing situation with a winch and controller that I bought from Amazon last October. I asked if theres anything i could do to get it figured out. Ivan checked with his manager and got right back to me the next day with the best news I couldve hoped for. So far i love my smittybiltx20 winch and wouldnt hesitate to buy another one when the time comes.

ID GIVE THESE GUYS A QUARTER STAR IF I COULD. SUCK SUCK AND MORE SUCK, AS FAR AS CUSTOMER SERVICE. I PURCHASED A SMITTYBILT SAFARI HARD TOP AND ONE OF THE ROOF CORNER WINDOWS JUST FELL OUT. EMAILED THEM TO REQUEST THE BEST WAY TO REINSTALL AND SEAL THE WINDOW. AND GOT THE REPLY OF WERE NOT SMITTYBILT. I REPLIED WITH MY ORDER NUMBER AND ASKED IF THEY COULD DO ANYTHING FOR ME AND ALL I GOT WAS THE SILENT TREATMENT.

I have contacted Smittybilt via its contact us link 3 times over the past month to get information on how to obtain gaskets/seals for the hinges on back window of my Smittybilt JEEP hardtop. The back window started leaking rain water after about 2 years, and has progressively gotten worse. I have determined the cause to be failure of the rubberized gasket between the window hinge and the window glass. A Smittybilt representative HAS YET TO RESPOND to my requests. My March 8th ticket created is SB00135513, and my February ticket created is SB00132951. AGAIN, I HAVE YET TO GET A RESPONSE to either service ticket. My third attempt was an email rather than using their contact us link. Until this matter is favorably resolved, I cannot in good faith recommend anyone purchase a Smittybilt product. I know I will shop elsewhere for JEEP parts

Poor customer service .VERY TRUE ON THEIR SITE THEY HAVE APRICE MATCH GUARANTEE. THEY WOUL NOT A LEGITIMATE MATCH. i call to verify its a match the same price in AMAZON and tell me NOOOO.

Zero customer service once there was a problem, great service when spending $$s Smitty Built direct is dealing with the issue but I will never use this site again. Lesson learned to research products before jumping in.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. This outfit is a joke. Bait and switch with sales, it took 6 days to process and ship my order and the customer service is the worst I have ever seen. Avoid this company at all costs.

Stay Away! I searched extensively on line for parts I wanted to order for a Christmas gift, paying close attention to items the websites stated were In Stock and Ready to Ship. I found what I wanted from this supplier and they listed them as in stock, so I ordered them - 11 days before Christmas. On the 18th I inquired about shipping status, only to discover the primary gift I ordered was backorder. Even now the part is still listed as In Stock and Ready to Ship. Essentially everything is - backorder or not, just to get your order and your money. Very deceptive and just plain not cool. Find an honest side and give them your money - these people are not honest and not I have to scramble to get a xmas gift here with very little time. Customer service laughed and said sorry about that...
