INGRID AND MONICA WERE ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENTS I HAVE EVER EVER WORKED WITH. I asked over and over, via phone and email about change of delivery and if there were additional charges and everyone I spoke with said no, it would be fine. Come to know, it cost me additional money to change my day by a week. I get my stuff and HALF MY ITEMS were destroyed. I lost one TV, a coffee table, and a TV stand. And do you think they are going to assist? ABSOLUTELY NOT. They advise you to re read your contract. I will be the ones to advise you. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, and if you ever have to deal with MONICA or INGRID, DO NOT!!!! THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM AND WILL RUIN EVER PIECE OF FURNITURE YOU HAVE!!!!!!!! IT WILL COST YOU MORE MONEY IN THE LONG RUN!!!!!!

Today, Oz Moving company delivered my furniture. We had initially set a virtual walkthrough to get an estimate. Once they came to pack our stuff, they charged us $2,500 more than the estimate, which means you cannot trust their estimate process. While packing, after I bought the crew lunch and was throwing the trash away, I saw they had broken glassware and had not bothered to mention it or to tell us. I had also set aside important documents in a bag and told them not to pack it. This accidentally got packed.The sales person told us delivery would be Oct 27th to Oct 30th. My furniture was delivered on Nov 3rd.When the furniture was delivered, somehow they had misplaced parts of my bed frame. Based on the services provided, they were supposed to breakdown and reassemble furniture but that did not happen with my bed frame. Aside from that, as I have been unpacking things, I have seen that a lot of the boxes had more paper in it than anything else and they had packed trash up. So basically the additional $2,500 was because of inefficient packing and trash on top of the 14k that they quoted. This company is not professional so customers should be aware. Dont make the same mistake I made.

UPDATE *****Finally received our stuff, and our couch is ruined with dark marks all over, 8 of our nice wine glasses completely shattered (we packed them very carefully), and most of the boxes that arrived were in awful smushed shape. We were told wed get a refund before this happened, so now we really netter. Would never recommend this company. Pictures below.AWFUL COMPANY! DO not use. Our belongings were picked up from LA to go to SC-they promised 18 business days. I told them that the only time I would not be in SC to accept delivery was June 28-July 5th as Id be away in NYC, so to please block that out. Monica in LA said she had made a note and that our stuff wouldnt be delivered then. Of course, the second I land in NYC, I receive a call from a driver saying they can deliver the following day in SC. I was angry as I specifically blocked this week out, but he assured me that our stuff would be put in storage and that someone would call me to re-schedule a delivery date. I recieved NO call, which I expected in this industry, but I have been calling multiple numbers and no response. When we finally got a hold of someone named Carlos, he told us hed call us right back yesterday and that our things could potentially be delivered today. NO CALL BACK. Also, the contradiction weve been told is absurd. If I call the East coast time, they tell me they cant help me and to call the west coast since thats who originally picked up our stuff, but when I contact the West coast, they tell me its out of their hands and to contact the east coast!! ITS NOW BEEN PAST THE 18 BUSINESS DAY WINDOW.Monica is also not helpful and rude and when I reached out asking for help, she just said how busy she has been and acts as if its a burden to point us in the right direction. She also told me to contact the person who emailed me about delivery when I never received an email. She said this is not her territory anymore - I dont care, SOMEONE needs to step in. At this point, Im convinced our stuff is lost & my husband and I have been basically sitting on the floor for almost a month. We were told wed receive a partial refund, but where is our stuff? DO NOT USE.

Hands down worst moving experience I’ve ever had in my life. Oz moving is the most poorly run moving company in the United States. Please be aware that their East Coast division has NOTHING to do with their West Coast division. So if you are moving across the country this is a terrible idea. The people who pickup the contents have no contact with the people who transport it, and the people who transport it have no contact with the west coast division who deliver it. Not a single person at the company could give me an accurate eta. - which left me paying for a hotel for over a week in Los Angeles calling them every day with NO answer. I have no words to explain how frustrating this was. When my contents finally arrived - I was just devastated. Distraught. Disgusted. All of my glassware, dishes, everything broken and smashed. Worst of all was a crystal egg - a family heirloom I had just received from my grandmother who had recently passed - which was quadruple wrapped, completely shattered. The customer service team could not have been more rude or less understanding. They offered me $100 for $20,000 of damage. I never take time to write reviews but I hate Oz moving with my entire heart. They do not care about you or your most personal items, and they do not deserve your money. Please do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

I was called on a work trip right before a move, and could not get a lot of packing done beforehand. I really depended on Oz to help with packing on the day. The crew was hard-working and got the job done. The process, from getting my first estimate through the move itself, was great. I’d definitely use this company again!

The worst! Rude - ruined all my furniture- which was high end. Has one pathetic guy deliver it in Palm Beach who tossed and virtually ruined ever piece- everything broken and damaged. Do not use this company! The worst!

Used for NYC to SB move. Was a good price, and Jack was very responsive and helpful.The items got to the destination very fast and only one minor damage to a nightstand.

Relieved and satisfied, we have reached to our destination, with great thanks to Oz Moving. We have moved from Los Angeles to Wisconsin. The move was great and fluent, as promised. We were very concerned because we own lots of unique antique furniture. The guys were amazing; they wrapped and cardboard crates every item in our house. Upon delivery, our belongings found to be perfect, with no sign to any damages. Thank you everyone! we are very pleased. Highly recommended!

Found this moving company doing a move from NY to LA, and found they also do moves from LA to SF! Overall, amazing customer service from a friendly team at the office and moving team on both coasts. The office team is always prompt, helpful, communicative and available for information. The moving team are friendly, very professional, efficient and make sure you are taken care of. I would definitely recommend Oz Moving & Storage!

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO READ THE FINE PRINT. They pulled a bait and switch with my friend. Not in a million years would I think to hear that OZ Moving would add $4000 over their agreed estimate. They held the boxes on the truck HOSTAGE until my friend paid the additional money. Isnt that Illegal? I have seen and heard some pretty crazy things in this business, but this takes the cake. DO NOT USE OZ!!!!!

OZ in NYC help me move my identical twin sisters estate to LA. Joseph in NYC arranged everything and got me the best price. So good I thought there might be a catch. Once in CA I called the LA office and they arranged to have her stored estate to get to Laguna Beach. Again the service was professional and on time. No extra charge!!! Often I was suspicious and doubtful as Id been taken in the past. Not this time. Go with OZ if you are moving bi-coastal. OZ has that down.

Hello everyone. I moved from NY to LA. I had bad experience with several companies before and I was really anxious as the move got closer. However, these guys did AWESOME JOB. Moshe was very helpful and professional. He showed up on time to give me a quote. The price was very competitive and stayed the same all along, not like my moves before!We went through all my move details. Moshe was kind, attentive and he was making it much less stressful. The movers were quick and efficient all my place was nicely packed. Upon delivery, they guys were great as well and now I feel home again!

I chose Oz due to a friends recommendation when the did a similar move from NYC to So Cal but I wish I hadnt. Sadly, a number of items were broken on arrival and they were all items that Oz packed - framed items, microwave oven, totes, and stainless steel trash cans. The items I cared most about, I left for the PROFESSIONAL movers to pack, which was a mistake. In an effort to show goodwill Oz paid me more than the $0.60 cents per pound waiver that everyone is required to sign unless you are self-insuring your own move. Although, I truly do appreciate the gesture, I could not afford to replace and/or fix the items with the money provided and would not have used Oz knowing that they could not transport my items safely. Unfortunately I can not in good faith recommend their services.

Recently moved from NYC to LA, they lost our Herman Miller Aeron chair during the process and we spent 3months trying to locate the chair. Their one person customer service, Allison, is the worst I have ever dealt with, shes almost impossible to reach, no updates with locating the chair when I was told numerous times from other Oz staff that I would be contacted. Allison dodged our calls and emails and only took the initiative to response after I took to social media. She promised an update soon and of course nothing. A month later, without preamble, a compensation check of $36 arrived, & only after it was first sent to a wrong address. Bravo Oz. its really too bad as the movers were great, friendly and efficient, if its wasnt for their horrible customer service and broken system, I would probably hire them again and recommend them.

I recently wrote a candidly negative review of OZ Movers, and gave it 1 star. This is a gift, actually, as I would give it a 0 if this were possible. Since my review seems to have been filtered by Yelp (no surprise, since OZ is a Yelp sponsor), I wont repeat the whole thing here. But here are the main points:We were leaving LA for 5 months. We contracted OZ to pack our stuff and put it into their storage facility. Five months later, when we returned to LA, they moved our stuff back into another apartment.1. For both moves, the movers were over 3 hours late.2. On the return move, we found things, like silverware, cooking utensils, etc., from drawers just dumped into boxes, and two night stands were completely demolished. They had even been packed with everything still i the drawers.3. A $5,000 massage chair was completely unoperational and there was clear damage that it must have been dropped.We will never even think about using OZ again.

I am VERY disappointed with this company. They broke a door to a cabinet that was donated to us which costs $650 to replace (door only). I filed a claim and they issued us (a non-profit organization) a check for $60.00. Needless to say, I will not be using or recommending OZ Moving and Storage to anyone. Beware, they do pack appropriately and they also lost brackets, bolts and spacers to our table and will not take responsibility for that either. If I could give no stars I would.

If your a female I strongly suggest you do not use OZ. Use Oasis moving, they are more female friendly and will not harass or insult you in order to justify charging you.Yes, that bad.If your a single female, they will harass you and overcharge you. They say the estimate is a guaranteed price, but once they beggin moving your stuff, they add on extra boxes, or square footage. I paid extra to have a professional estimator come, (200.00), and they STILL OVERCHARGED me 300.00 over what their paid professional charged me to give me the erroneous estimate.Protect your family, your sanity, and your property & take your money elsewhere!

We used Oz to carry out a complicated move from Brooklyn NY to Pasadena CA. First we needed to arrive, find a temporary apartment and the search for and find and move into a house. We would need to take part of our stuff into apt. and then part keep in storage I CA until we found and were ready to start moving into the house once we took title. We would then have to move the stuff from the apt. to the house...and fini.It was a sizable move of stuff from our house in Park Slope, 3 floors and a basement. We got quotes first from Oz and they had no trouble understanding our logistical requirements and quickly turning around a quote. It was a very good price. When we got subsequent quotes from 3 other big movers, they were 30%-50% higher. And they seemed challenged by the logistics of our move.I was skeptical of Oz and even hesitated before accepting their quote and proceeding. John Kohn was the PM and handled everything up to day of move. He was available and flexible and good to his word. Donna in NY handled wrap up and coordinated setup and handoff to CA.The team that came to move us from Park Slope were great. It was a 90 degrees and humid late Sept day. They worked hard and carefully. 2 truckloads from 8am until after 5pm. The the on-site PM was Lavi or maybe another Israeli name. He was extremely focused, organized and hard-working. He made it happen.Once we got to Pasadena and got an apt. and needed our stuff for there, we were handed off to Ingrid who was just as diligent and good at keeping us informed and making things happen.Just to keep it short, the apt stuff arrived intact and the delivery crew were great. Then when we got our house, first the move of our things in Oz LA storage happened w/o a hitch. And the finally the last step of our move of our things in the apt also was flawless. Since this last move was just today, I can call out Edgar and Efrain who were, as usual, just great. I wish I could remember all their names and give them a shout out. Great job, all and great job Oz Moving.
