The staff here are upbeat and always ready to help. They are knowledgeable of the products sold, and take any extra time for you to help find the exact thing you need. The manager is hands on when it comes to specialty items that are hard to find. Ace in Commerce hasnt let me down!!! Great store.

Take it or leave it....its convenientThe employees are nice and helpfulBut... Its just not the same as the wide open spaces and abundant options of the massive warehouse stores...Its still the best for helpful hardware folks...but if money is no big deal and you dont mind to overpay for the same stuff then I would definitely recommend ace .But only because the employees make it worth the trip

I was looking for concrete anchors. The gentleman in the back told me to use tapcons. I told them they would not work due to the size of through hole I needed. He did not believe me. On the display there were three other styles of anchors for concrete that I asked to see. He did not produce any of them. He then continued to show me products that would not work and actually got in the way of me looking for the items I was trying to find. Not only that he was rude and treated me like I did not know what I was talking about. In reality he told me that the products on the display were incorrect and were not for concrete, even though I have used them before. A very unprofessional unhelpful experience at an otherwise good hardware store.

They always seem to have what I need, even hard to find items. Ive used this store for years, since back when I lived by Thornton. I happened to be back on that side of town, needing more hard to find parts for a sprinkler system. They had them, and big stores didnt.

Really friendly staff, Ray (I believe that was his name) helped me carry my firewood back to my job (just next door) but still very friendly! And so so helpful!

Such a great resource. Its like an old-school hardware store where you can find pretty much anything you could ever need. Staff are knowledgeable, helpful, even anxious to assist. Prices are reasonable One stop shop for all your household needs.

This place is huge. This Ace doesnt have the large selection of craft sodas that other Aces possess. But it has everything that a hardware store is supposed to have. If you have to match a nut or bolt, this is the place. Also the old guys that actually know what theyre talking about work here..

I usually only go to Ace when I need advice on how to do something. Theres usually older guys that work there, that have retired from working in some type of maintenance or building type jobs. And they always had great advice and were willing to help. This Ace had a bunch of younger girls and a couple of guys working, but I only saw one male employee on the other side of the store and the girls were up at the register. I needed help figuring out which parts I needed to install a swamp cooler water line, and ran into an elderly black couple who were more than happy to help and another male customer walking by offered help and advice too. When I went back to the parts area, the second guy found me again and helped me find all the parts. So even tho I didnt get any staff to help me, the other customers in the store did. Thats why I only gave them three stars.. this store is a wee bit over-priced, but they typically have what you need (and a super fun little goody section with off the wall toys/goodies!) Oh! And they had a good supply of hand sanitizer and masks too!

Our A/C stopped working and needed a new capacitor. This was the only location in the entire Denver metro that had what I needed. They even set it aside for me since I had a long drive there to pick it up. Lifesavers!

Best Ace Hardware around the only one that I know that sells bolts and screws by the pound which is nice just had a little extra bolts and nuts for emergencies. Very helpful staff

We had a very challenging plumbing project going on at home. My husband had to rebuild an old setup (done by a guy with a lot of spare parts and no money in the 1970s, so it resembled a Dr. Seuss illustration), and two of the gentlemen in the plumbing department helped us figure out a solution that worked beautifully and will last a very long time. I was very happy with the results! I feel bad that I cant remember their names, but if you meet them youll know who Im talking about!

They just about have everything you can ever need plus some more you just cant find at some other places. Not just the same, but up to 3 to 5 more types than at the other hardware stores around town. They have extra staff all willing to help you.

Very helpful in general. Hardware is like a local staple. They have in stock in some areas what the big bix stores dont. The only thing I can rate poor is having dropped off some chain saw chains 2 months ago and still no idea when Ill see again..

Most of the time this Ace hardware store is pretty good But this particular morning wasnt so good. Went in to buy a gift for a very special person and found a few nice things. Tried to use my coupons they send me and was told couldnt use them on these items they where regular prices but the cashier said they were none refundable. I SAID IAM NOT REFUNDING THEM . I was buying them for a gift. I just wish they would stop changing their rules in there every time I try to get something from there. And The Blonde Manager wasnt no help either.

Feb 2021 Same great experiences as 2 years ago: Always someone to help if needed and the employees seem geniunally happy to be there. Ive seen a customer start to get heated about something and he was handled with kindness, professionalism and patience. The customer was smiling in the end when they solved his issue . I go here when I can instead of the mega chain super market just a mile down the road. A great neighborhood hardware store with everything you need and excellent customer service.

I went to buy a new valve for my shower, I found it here but it was really priced high. I went on line to check other prices and found that Ace Hardware was more than three times more expensive than Home Depot. I would probably have bought the part here since it was convenient but paying over three times what it is worth makes me a little bit angry.

I came here after abruptly leaving the Perl-Mac Ace Hardware where the manager “Nate” was extremely rude and condescending to me (Read my review on that location).I was welcomed and the nice older gentleman helped me get my propane fittings setup exactly as I needed. Very respectful and kind unlike Nate.I will be coming back to this location when my North Glenn location doesn’t have what I need.Avoid Perl-Mac location at all costs.

Massive Ace, cool store. Classic Ace service and more selection than most. Found all my hardware from 9/16 bolts and nuts to M5 machine screws and washers.

Very helpful staff. If you cant find it there are people to help. If you need advice on how to do a repair or a project there are people you can ask questions to and get understandable answers.

The Ace in Commerce City Colorado is a really good hardware store to do business try them yall be satisfied

Ace Hardware is very conveniently located and opens early at 6:00 AM, with ready solutions for the homeowner, landlord, handyman and building contractors. I can usually find everything I need here to maintain the property. This morning it was pack of three matching padlocks with extra keys made after a break-in attempt. Prices are always reasonable

The clerks were very helpful, one of the ladies that work there went beyond the call of duty by researching online a place that we could get some of the parts we needed for a window level since Ace no longer carried the parts. This clerk wrote the phone number and address to the place that still sold the parts we needed. They also gave us directions to a lumber yard that had the 4 by 8 acoustic ceiling tiles. Also the clerk that worked the cash register was friendly and informed us of their return policy which was to give a refund if the parts didnt work for us. This store also offers free popcorn. This is the largest Ace Hardware store I have ever seen and they sell just about everything at this store.

The most helpful hardware store Ive found in all of Denver. This is the place to go to if youre a rookie or a seasoned pro. Lots of product, often expert opinions, and great pricing and return policy. I hope they are around for another 100 years.

I purchased a torpedo heater. The heater used either kerosene or diese. I took it straight to work and fished it up. The fan made a terrible noise and the heater failed to ignite. After work I took the heater back to exchange it for one that worked. They tried telling me that they could not take it back because I had put fuel in it. Tell me something... How does somebody check a new heater for function without putting fuel in it first? Anyhow I had to empty 5 gallons of diesel into a bucket in the parking lot and later figure out how to dispose if it properl . I got my money back . I understand that things are defective sometimes, I just dont expect a store, a hardware store no less, to make things that difficult on you.

One of my favorite hardware stores in all of the state. Just because its old school and Ive been coming here since I was a tiny little punk hoping my Grandmother who lived down the street would treat me to a candy bar or some sort of treat. Recently I enjoy shopping here because of the customer service is always there and always friendly and knowledgeable. Unlike the more Corporate establishments (H.D & Lowes) that have grown past their staffs ability to have any sort of knowledge or skill set this Ace in particular have well trained staff and they are pretty good about getting you what you need. They also have a ton of fun novelties that will sometimes side tracked you because of how cool or cheesy they are. Keep up the good work Ace dont change & always Stay local.
