Store is neat. Easy parking. Was looking for an item they advertised on clearance. There were none. Employee who was very helpful told me website is not updated and item has not been in stock for quite awhile. Took a 40 minute drive for nothing. Very disappointing. Will not be shopping there again anytime soon.

I was told by staff of Harbor freight that I needed a Jackery. He looked up the product and showed it to me. There I could see the item and price. However, I was told that location didnt have it upon looking it up I was told it was at this location. When I got there the first staff didnt have a clue as to what I was talking about. When he showed me the wrong item and not even the price I wanted and it ran on a different energy source, he then left to go and help another customer. Finally another staff knew what I was talking about and showed it to me, however, it was the display item and I could not buy it. According to her there was none in stock. What a waste of time energy and gas. A total disappointment.

I purchase a lot of stuff from this store. Never a problem and always very helpful. The staff is terrific. Rob, Cody, Brianna and the rest of the crew are always ready to help and very knowledgeable of the items they sell. Give it a shot, I know you will be happy here. This is the best Harbor Freight I have ever been to and I have shopped at most of the Long Island locations.

I recently purchased a predator 79cc for my mini bike I installed it and it the pull cord was stuck. I went to return the engine completely drained of fuel. They refused to take it back and insisted that they couldn’t store the engine without a fine. On top of that they were nasty about it to me when we tried to go back and exchange the engine

Theres nothing wrong with harbor freight products, but the staff at this store, specifically the supervisor Rob. He was strangely insistant on asking me for my email address during checkout.Four seperate times throughout the check out, each time I said No, thank you. Each time he would mumble under his breath. He asked again and I had to say No, thats enough. He raised his voice at me shouting No, You Enough! I informed him he was being rude and he replied No youre rude! It was very strange and seemed like he was trying to make a scene.This dude really wanted my email. Just go to a different Harbor Freight store. This one is supervised by a very odd guy.

Pretty decent cheap tools.I have a couple of their battery powered drivers,For the money I paid (under $20) I got a screw gun and flash light on a 14v battery I got it 2yrs ago thing still works great for quick little around the house fixesI also have used the central machinery drill presses for actual machine shop more and was quite impressed but, its brand new. we will see long term how it holds up but if you were to be using it at home its fine

THE place to go for cheap, Chinese made tools. That being said, its a great store with an awesome variety and selection. Many of their items are great! Some are sketchy at best. The store is very well organized, and prices are always clear. Discounts and coupons are a must. Pleasant shopping experience.

Went there to buy an engine hoist. Was in and out in 5 minutes. Everyone was super helpful and the staff is very organized. They even brought it out to my truck. My wife was with me she couldn’t believe how good the service was.

Good place to get tools in a pinch and if you are only going to use them sparingly. Not expensive but great value.

This place is like Toys R Us for men. Great value. Tools are good for home use, but not for commercial grade jobs. Staff is generally not knowledgeable on tool use and other matters, but if you know how to use what you are looking for, it is easy enough to find.

Anything you could think of and the prices I thought they were wrong but now I got an air powered ratchet wrench for $19

Great prices on tools. However the doors do not automatically open like other stores. So when you have any bulky items or even just a shopping cart become a very big hassle to get out through the door. You have to hold the door open while pushing your cart or bulky item through the door. Many times no employee is available to help you maneuver getting out of the door. This peony wise and pound foolish to not install automatically open doors for customers.

Not high end tools but great prices if youre doing smaller projects or dont need the commercial quality. This location is clean and do far has a great staff thats can answer quick questions.

I like this store and shop there alot, but im tired of the coupon situation. Im in your system you send me flyers and emails. Im not clipping coupons and carrying them around. Just give your regular customers the discount

Have alot of tools that are good, some not so much, kinda hit and miss sometimes. Ive had good tools most the time, and a few one time use tools.

If there was a 0 star rating that would be perfect.Went in to get some stringlights and I saw they were priced incorrectly. I asked a manager about the mislabeling and she said all she could do was put them in as the original price, but she refused to let me use a coupon to discount the actual price of the lights. I had to walk back and forth from the register to the lights because no one wanted to help me search for them. Very lazy staff.

Have basically every tool you need

To bad they never seem to have the big ticket items in stock....... I have been waiting three weeks for the 7000 watt generator to be in stock, called every store on Long Island and not a single store has them on stock. Meanwhile, I have received three different coupons in as many weeks for 200 dollars off. To bad I can not use them to buy this seemingly non existing generator. Im sick of going in there every week to see if any came in, and the employees are dumb as tree stumps as to when they will be in stock. Im slowly getting the feeling Harbor Freight is a big waste of time and gas to look for a product they never seem to have in stock in any store. Four weeks have gone by, and Im still wating for the generators to come in..

Shopping here is an amazing experience, there are always good deals and they have a variety of tools for everyone, high quality for heavy duty work and low price for around the house tools

Best Harbor Freight Ive been to yet. I drove all the way from Centereach, which already has a Harbor Freight store. Unlike the Centereach store, Commack had what I needed in stock and I didnt get the poor customer service like I did in Centereach. Trish was great and helped me tremendously. Excellent customer service. Highly recommended!
