These guys are the best in Columbus! Owner George and Chuck (on the domestic side) are always extremely detailed and looking out for my best interest. The office girls and Tracy couldnt be any nicer.Keith is the glue guy, keeping it all together. Talk about customer service and over and beyond!! From customer to mechanic. He is always extremely helpful/detailed in offering creative solutions, making sure both sides are happy. Always in communication with the process and suggestions inside and outside the box.Every successful company needs a guy like Keith ✅I take all 3 of my vehicles and majority of my familys vehicles to Evans. Came to the shop to replace my steel motor mounts back to stock. Put Cheap parts didn’t even last a month. They gave me back my old mounts but kept the bushings. So they F’d me twice. Seemed like good people but I’d watch out.

Great people and excellent service! Evans installed a grille on my car that I provided. They completed the installation the same day and their rates were fair. The employees were all friendly and helped me with any questions I had. I will definitely be a return customer!

Great group of people, very friendly and professional but at the end of the day I need my vehicle. Was promised the work would be completed within ten days but it’s been over a month and I still don’t have it back. I’m spending money on rides and other modes of transportation in addition to having to pay for my vehicle when it is done. They sub out some of the work here so be sure to ask BEFORE you leave your vehicle if they will be self-performing or if it will be sent out to be completed. I wish I had known ours would be sent out. I called again today and was told it would be ready tomorrow. SMH… not a good business model.

I was referred by mother because they repaired her car, so therefore I took my car there as well. I told the lady at the front desk about the issue I was having with my car, and before the mechanic came, I asked her if the price of the inspections fees will be deducted from the repair cost if I decide to have the car repair at their shop. She told me that the fees will be deducted from the repair cost if I decided to repair from that location. When the mechanic called me, he told me otherwise. The next day when I pick up the car, I made the comments to the lady at the front about what she told me the previous day but she stated that she never told me that. After that comments I was done with the conversation, I pulled my debit card, paid and left the place. I am too grown for going back and forth when the conversation was less 24h ago. Money was not the issue for me, my car was fixed but honesty, trustworthiness and integrity are everything in life. Therefore I won’t be returning and neither my mother to this location.

Amazing family owned shop with honest mechanics. When we owned a car that needed multiple repairs, they helped us prioritize the ones to keep us safe on the road and worked with us on the others. The staff is friendly and not condescending at all- something I’ve dealt with at other shops. And seeing the classic and sports cars they work on is a treat while you’re waiting!

Nothing but the best. They’ve worked on a lotus, Ferrari and Lamborghini of mine in the past. Always very quick, knowledge, fair on price and inviting. If you have an obscure or exotic car I wouldn’t take it anywhere else!

These guys were top tier in thier customer service. They did a thermostat replacement on my 2006 range rover sport. I was able to speak to the same person Keith who had the patience to break down the reasoning and cost for services rendered as well as preventative maintenance services. He answered all of my calls and returned the ones that he missed promptly. I would highly recommend working with them.

The service my daughter received from this auto repair shop was excellent. She is a student at Ohio State and we had no idea who to call for help when her car wouldn’t start. I’m from out of town and I brought my car here the day after thanksgiving and I didn’t have high hopes that I would get anything done. Especially after calling over 20 other shops and they being booked. I spoke with Keith and he made no promises but at the same time made me feel comfortable about coming there. After arriving the Erin checked as all in and gave us a estimated of 1-2 hours. I wasn’t happy about the wait but I was hopeful. Everyone was nice in the place. Very welcoming and thoughtful. Erin even offered me and my husband a slice a pizza. That was great. I wish we was hungry. Literally 35 mins later Keith came up and gave us the best news ever and had everything fixed 15 mins later. I love this place. I wish they was in Virginia.

These guys were great; they explained everything that was going on and were extremely fair on the price (much lower than what other shops were quoting me). They were able to do a one day turnaround with my car, and so far it has been running perfectly. Would gladly return to this friendly shop again.

I want to express my sincere appreciation to Evans Automotive for their superior and thorough service on my Mazda’s vacuum solenoid. My Mazda performs better than when I purchased it new. I am no longer afraid to drive the car, so they not only gave me outstanding quality service that many others could not repair, they restored my confidence in the cars performance.

I was in Columbus for a Lax tourney w my son and broke down. Luckily I pulled into Evans and Christopher got my Denali right in and on the lift, replaced the hub assembly, treated me more then fair on the price and got me right back on the road in record time!!!! We just wanted to thank all of you for your skill and hospitality you gave us when our truck’s air compressor went out. If you remember we had 4 children and our dog with us and you allowed us to be comfortable in the waiting room and out of the 90 degree weather. Was told by Buick my car needed a rack and pinion... brought my car to Evans and was told it was not. It was a lot cheaper than a rack and pinion too. Buick was going to fix something not needed, then charge me for the actual issue afterwards. Thank you Evans for your honesty and getting my car back on the road so quickly!

Evans Automotive is one of the best independent mechanic shops I have worked with. I organized a pre-purchase inspection with them on a vehicle from a local Mercedes Benz dealer and that was the best decision I could have possibly made in that process.Katherine was great to work with, Jim explained the process and what was going to be covered (which included a separate inspection sheet I wanted over and above what they normally do) and Tim did a great job on the inspection. I had been told the vehicle was in top condition and that the dealer would be surprised if the report found anything - Tim found $4k+ worth of repairs that I would have needed to do and saved me a ton of headache and heartache. Whats more, he spent a good deal of time with me on the phone walking through what he found and why it was important.I highly recommend these folks without any hesitation. If I ever find myself looking at a car in Columbus again then I will definitely reach out to them again.

This particular automotive repair/restoration business is known to seemingly most of all Italian car owners across the Midwest, but they provided excellent, courteous and knowledgeable service for my Volvo V70 AND had all the diagnostic equipment needed. I want to go back to MAG like I want a hole in my head. Recommended for all foreign car makes. Honest, smart mechanics are a rare find. AND Ill certainly take my Lamborghini there when I move up from my Volvo......

These guys are awesome. Very honest and the work (so far) has been far superior on my Nissan than what even the dealership would do. I was quoted an absurd amount for a stuck door actuator and Germain Nissan just down the road wanted basically a blank check because the were not sure what they were going to break when they pried the door open. Took my car down here to these stand up folks and *surprise* no need to break anything at all. Completed the work for a much more reasonable cost. I will be coming here for any out of warranty needs. You cant go wrong by choosing this establishment.

I would like to express my sincere thanks to Evans Automotive and their staff for the excellent service and repair work they recently performed for me. They performed diagnostics on an emission problem on my Jaguar for me. I had took my Jag to a local dealer were it was incorrectly diagnosed as an emission problem. The staff took the time to check and properly diagnose the correct problem which turned out to be considerably cheaper that I had first anticipated. I was extremely impressed with the shop, staff, and the manner in which they performed their business. I will be sending a letter to the AAA with the hope that they will refer additional work to this shop for other owners of Jaguar products who run into problems.

Very good, polite, and thorough service. I appreciated their attention to detail. the only complaint I would have is that, being a larger and busier shop, the job took a bit longer than I would have expected. My car was in Wednesday all the way through Monday night for a water pump. And when I called for updates (so I could figure out how to arrange my hour long commute to work each day) they said they would call back but never did. Pricing might be slightly on the higher end but they seemed to do thorough work at least.Edit: something i forgot to mention; they changed my oil without my permission and charged for it. I had changed the oil myself a week before so it certainly did not need an oil change. Also, they charged me for a quart of oil because my oil was low, but then they also charged for a full oil change (???). So they topped me off but then drained it all and charged me again? Also when they changed my oil they messed up the threading on the drain bolt so it is much more difficult to get on and off now (something i didnt notice until the next oil change).

The only place to trust your exotic or high end car to. You get what you pay for.

Great service, quick turnaround

Used these guys to inspect a used car I was thinking of buying. Though they werent able to do a full inspection because it was the end of the day, they agreed to squeeze me in and take a look at as much as they had time to do. Bernie was very patient, cooperative and helpful coordinating the whole thing with the cars owner, who agreed to take the car to the shop before I was able to arrive. The mechanic found concerning rust damage to the chassis, which ended up being a deal breaker. These guys probably saved us a few thousand dollars and a lot of headache. And, they prorated the inspection cost so that we only paid for as much as they were able to do. Felt comfortable with their service and advice; would trust them with our cars if we lived in Columbus.

The front desk women not lady is so mean with a horrible attitude. Kept misspelling my name couldnt find my account and somehow she felt entitled. Have a mechanic at the front to answer simple questions.

It is certainly difficult today to find good mechanics, as well as ones that you can trust. My problem started with a different repair shop that supposedly fixed a faulty clutch but in the process didn’t reconnect the speedometer and the odometer on my 92 Legacy. The other shop told me that it was broken before they worked on my car, which my husband and I knew that was not true. And even if it was broken before, why couldn’t they fix it. They did recommend this shop (Evans Automotive) on Morse and I give them credit for that.The person I worked with at Evans was very nice and had one of his mechanics explain what was wrong with the speedometer and then proceeded to give me a cooking class on how you can’t cook without oil or you’ll burn out the motor. Little do they now that I am a terrible cook? In this day and age when people are so depressed and so fearful of getting ripped off, it was so delightful to work with this company (Evans Automotive). I felt like they really enjoyed their work and the people they work with.

They do not listen to customer. Cost me thousands extra . Had to give one star to post. Why can’t I give negative stars. Take anywhere else or do it yourself.

In today’s world of many insincere and dishonest auto service centers and dealerships, Evans Automotive shines through like a diamond in the rough. Never before have I felt so appreciated as a customer when having my vehicle serviced or repaired. Their honesty and integrity have on me over. Whenever there is a repair done on my vehicle, I never have to guess, or wonder if the repair was done correctly.All to often at many service center, the driving force is profit, or the “bottom-line” with little or no consideration for the solution that might be best for the consumer, I have never felt this way about Evans Automotive. There is a trust in quality workmanship that I receive from Evans that cannot be matched even by the original dealership by Evans mechanics and employees to remember each of your hundreds of customers by namem and their ability to treat each person as an individual, as though they are their only customer it is no wonder that so many Lamborghini, Porsche, and Ferrari owners trust them to do the tool work on their very expensive automobiles.They should feel proud of these many positive attributes, for they are well deserved and can only come form many years of setting the standards by which all others should be measured in the automotive repair industry.

Jim fixed my Hyundia Azara a few weeks ago. Being from out of town, Evans automotive was recommended by a local.Jim did everything possible to save me as much and get my car finished so I could get home. I was delayed 2 days but it would have been much worse without Jims over the top efforts and honesty.He even coordinated with Dennis Hyundai to get my key reprogrammed (another story). Jim even gave me a ride over to the dealer, staying there to make sure everything went ok.God was really looking out for me with getting the recommendation form a local resident.Thanks again, Jim
