So far we have had an amazing experience with McCarley Moving and storage!! Vickie has communicated with us every step of the way! Our packers were amazing! Can’t recommend Katisha and Edmond enough! Moving is hectic crazy and stressful but they made it so much easier, they did a great job!! And our TSP guys says this company has the BEST reviews! ♥️♥️♥️

2 stars because the movers were very nice. Also 2 stars because of the destruction done to the property, our household goods, and their handling of it. After 1 hour of moving, I took a ‘pause’ to show the movers all the damage done to our stairwell in a brand new home that we built. More damages pursued. Their trucks leaked oil and transmission fluid onto our new concrete. I reached out to have all of this fixed and they ignored me so far. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

This was our first PCS move, and this moving company took AMAZING care of us! They are here now, and are fantastic to listen and talk to. Very attentive to our needs. Took such great care of the things we care about most. Vicky and the whole team were so helpful answering my daily calls to ask questions. Would highly recommend if moving out of the Columbus area!

Edmond and Brian did an exceptional job. I would recommend them to my family and friends. They were courteous and hard working. Job well done!!!

I wish I could rate this business as a 0. Employees are completely disrespectful and entitled. They came into our home and stole property from my house. When informing a lady named Vickie she wasted our time by sending us a claim form in which only to be denied. When approached on the phone she backed her employees and claimed this was the first time and that it has never happened before. Regardless of the act someone should be held liable for the actions of those employees that stole. Who knows what else they stole. I guess we will find out when we get to our destination. We were robbed and this company cleans up after the mess of the employees. Do not hire and stay away! Very sad and unfortunate this happened.

Nice and courteous very accommodating. The location wasnt that great because of the no truck routes and the dock is a bit catacornered with little to no room to maneuver.

I had some serious issues with how Vicky handled my move. I let her know multiple times that we had a lot of small items that would be very time consuming to pack, but she chose not to heed my warning. Our packers/movers themselves were awesome, but I feel Vicky was incredibly unprofessional and she did not want to help me.Scott did come out to fix some of the issues, but if you are hoping to arrange a move and Vicky is your move coordinator, expect serious issues. Ive heard from sources at Mccarley and at Benning that she is continually a problem...

McCarley moving and storage packed and loaded us up for an overseas move from Phenix City and were amazing. Our stuff arrived and only a few things were damaged. It was only a 2 man crew and they were so nice and packed our stuff up great! The only things damaged were a scratch on one of our TVs. My daughters wooden name decor (very thin and flimsy, I would have been shocked if it didn’t break) and a small ding on my daughters bed. Nothing was missing. I am so glad our first move using a moving company turned out so well!

Absolutely the worst moving company in Georgia. I have moved many times and have had anything close to the amount of broken and destroyed items as I had when McCarley packed and shipped my house. Over 20 items were damaged in some way and others were completely destroyed. Much of this resulted from careless packing and wrapping and stacking heavy items on top of light items, which defies all common sense. They also broke my washer and dyer by stacking heavy items on top of them inside the truck. One framed newspaper was completely shattered because they did not put it inside a padded box. The moving crew almost left without taking the washer and drier and I had to follow them around the apartment to make sure that they actually packed everything. Now I wish I had paid closer attention to how they packed since they did such a poor job. Overall the packers were lazy and careless and should not be allowed to handle anyones possessions. As for the company itself, my shipment was delayed for over a week and they never contacted me to inform me as to its whereabouts. All in all this move was a terrible experience, by far the worst in my life and I strongly recommend against anyone ever using McCarley Moving and Storage for anything whatsoever. Hopefully they will never receive another moving contract and will close their business.

Worst company ever!!!!! 2 packers came to pack our 3500sq ft house. 4 bedrooms and 3 living areas. They spent 3 hours packing the first day and 3 and a half the second day. They told us that they werent supposed to pack certain stuff and the driver would have to. They clearly did not finish and when the driver showed up 2 days later, they lied to him and said that we asked them not to pack up the full garage or any of the random stuff they didnt get to. After a complaint and a 4th visit, they had an attitude the whole time and barely spoke to us even when we spoke to them. Now we have to leave soon and still have half a house left to pack so they sent some very nice guys but not to pack only to load all of our unpacked stuff up so we will probably have a bunch of damaged stuff. We will see. Either way, if you are military, good luck.
