Good store for almost all hardware needs

My family has been going to wynnton hardware for 3 generations and never had an issue. UNTIL NOW! I went last week to get 2 gallons of KILTZ but they were out so their male employee (NOT randy or Tim) sold me 2 gallons of another product. After paying 50 dollars for that and 100 to have a painter apply, the next day mold came through. The next day i went in and tim told me his employee sold me the WRONG product. So after paying 50 bucks for that and another 50 to habe it applied it worked.I called FRANK, the owner, to request a meeting about the BAD and COSTLY advice. His response was....the holy spirit told him not to speak to me!! WHAT??? As a STRONG christian woman I was so offended that he would bring religion into this!!! He said just because he is a hardware store he is NOT responsibke for his employees giving out bad advice!! WHAT???Is this because I am a woman? I never raised my voice or was disrespectful. I am on social security and HIS mistake was half of my check!!SHAME ON YOU FRANK FOR YOUR NON CHRISTIAN ATTITUDE!! Thats NOT the God I serve!

Love this hometown hardware store. The staff always knows the best products to get the job done and knows exactly where they are located in the store. I like shopping local when I can to support the local economy and this place has been around forever. The guys are fun to hang around with also.

Love this Place. The only Place to buy Fresh Pecans (Southern Gold) + Jams & Preserves. One wouldnt expect this at a Hardware Store. Oh yeah, the best Boiled Peanuts fresh out of the pot.

This store is AMAZING! After trading with Lowes and Home Depot for years, I was blown away that a privately owned store could provide:same/similar selection, same (if not better) pricing, employees/sales reps that are extremely knowledgeable about every product they stock, customer service second to none, & finally a positive, upbeat, faith based environment. I always feel great about trading with this company.I work hard for my money and get the feeling this company & its employees do as well.Try them out! The mom & pops arent dead yet!

Good customer service and the location is awesome right in the center of midtown Columbus. I went looking to purchase some live plants of which they do sale. Hardware store carries a variety of inside and outside plants an flowers.

Found what I was looking for, was looking for a mop with the wire around it and they had them.

Small place but real friendly people and very knowledgeable.you can find what you need here .

Friendly staff. Their prices on tools and supplies was a bit high. They have some hard to find items. They also sell different sizes of wood but do not cut it.

Love this hardware store. The employees are so helpful to everyone entering the store. It is special treatment whether you are a female in runners clothing(me), or a handyman in coveralls and worker men boots, everyone receives individual attention. It always has the appetizing aroma of roasted nuts too. So eat before you go in. The prices are low. It is a store that has stood recession and closing down of businesses all around it. I support small businesses especially when the folks are genuinely kind!

Cool little hardware store to shop around. Had a few things and tools you can’t find at the big box stores. The store itself isn’t the biggest but is does pack a punch with the number of items for sale. Employees were nice and helpful. My only complaint was the prices. They were higher than other local stores.

Took pecans in to get them cracked. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. They have so much there at competitive prices, and buying local always beats a chain store.

I have been a customer for decades. The store refuses to enforce the local mask ordinance. If the owner does not care about my health, or the health of others in my family, I will not financially support this owner. HD or Lowe’s aren’t locally owned, but at least they care about customers.

Got exactly what I needed quickly and so close to home.

I like this place for my gardening needs. They have neat flowers and in season plants. I must add very friendly and helpful staff.
