I went to this location to start mattress shopping. The saleswoman was great. She showed us a bunch of different options, and explained what was available as well as the warranties. However, the extra fees that Mattress Firm tacks on for the warranties and set-up are a bit high. We were looking at one of the cheaper mattresses too that was on sale with the free base. I ended up going right across the street to Sleep Number. By the time Mattress Firm tacked on the extra charges, I was able to get a Sleep Number mattress with a mattress pad and two top of the line pillows plus the delivery fee and still save money. The mattress at Sleep Number itself was even cheaper than the mattress alone, without any other items. Mattress Firm has a lot of different options. Just watch out for the extra fees.

The delivery guys were amazing... courteous and efficient.. five stars to you guys!The free pillows were a joke!!! In store they showed us a high end nice pillow in a box but said that they only had one... so they would send two when they delivered the mattress!!! The pillows they sent were rolled up and look like disposable 1” thick pillows! You should be embarrassed to advertise you are giving something of this quality free as a bonus for purchasing very expensive beds!So far the mattress has been great I will give it the 90 days trial....But can’t say much for your marketing strategies!!

Fantastic experience at The Sleep Center and glad I decided to shop locally instead of purchasing a bed in the box online. The owner and associate were very down to earth and professional. As others have written in their reviews, the store is a no-pressure atmosphere which makes the shopping/browzing experience more enjoyable. We purchased a Tempur-Pedic and were able to have it delivered for free the very next day. Delivery folks were on time, very professional, and efficient. They also took our old mattress so we would not have to deal with its disposal!

Bed was on sale (didnt know that before I entered store). Free delivery and removal of old bed. Delivery was on-time by 3 very courteous young men. Greatly appreciated their being masked-up, as was I. Only slept on it a couple times so far, but it was all I expected. One happy buyer!

I went to a few different stores searching for a new mattress and I ended up buying from here because it is locally owned and operated. The sales guy I dealt with was far superior to the pushy sales guy up the street at Ashley Furniture. The guy at Ashley would not leave us alone and didn’t seem to know what he was talking about. All the staff at the Sleep Center were very helpful!! When my wife and I were picking out our new bed we were able lay on the beds without being bugged. When wee first came in, we were asked to lay on the all the beds and Mr.Ricky only gave us info on the beds we were interested in. We decided to think about it and ended up coming back that weekend. Wry and Jason were there to assist on purchasing/financing and any other questions we had. We decided on a bed and got a prompt delivery date. The guys that delivered it were so nice. They made sure that everything was taken care of and answered any questions we had in a polite and professional manner. The experience was awesome!! I am so thankful for the wonderful service I received at The Sleep Center! After Sam’s Club (and Serta) failed to deliver a king-sized mattress within the promised / expected time frame, I was left frantically searching for a store that could deliver one within 24 hours. The ONLY store I could find in Columbus, GA that was able to do this for me was THE SLEEP CENTER. I can’t say enough good things about the service I received! Both Wry Wright and Ricky Wright were able to help me find the type of mattress I was looking for within my price range (with extra savings because of an awesome sale going on!), AND schedule the delivery for the NEXT DAY (despite how busy they were)!! I otherwise would not have had a bed for my guests to sleep on the following night (Sam’s Club offered to provide an air mattresses as a solution to the delayed mattress….).The Sleep Center, Wry Wright, and Ricky Wright were awesome to work with, so FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE about their products, and overall provided awesome service. Financed a mattress from here on April 17, 2017 and actually bought 2 balance pillows outright. Was told the mattress was in stock and the pillows had to be ordered and that usually takes 5-7 business days. Called a week later and the pillows were there yet (which is fine...I knew it could take a little longer) so I waited. Called again a couple of weeks later and still no pillows and was told we will call u when they get here. A couple more weeks go by with no call so I call back once again and got a story about how they guy that did the ordering quit and didnt place the order in his rush to leave. Then later that day the new ordering guy calls me back to let me know that the other guy ordered the stuff with an expired credit card and they dont know why the pillow company didnt let them know sooner that nothing was being shipped for this reason, and that the pillows have been rush ordered and should be here Wednesday (Thursday at the absolute latest). Wednesday comes and goes and I call back Thursday afternoon and the ordering guy says hes still waiting on the truck. He can tell in my voice that Im sick of the run around so he apologizes and thanks me for my patience and says he will give me a refund for one of the pillows. (Buy one get on free). Here it is 1.5 weeks since Ive last talked to him and STILL NO PILLOWS THAT I SPENT $160 ON!!!!!! Im planning on riding by there after work tomorrow (hopefully I can make it before they close) and demand a full refund. Its been a month and a half waiting on 2 expensive ass pillows that I probably could have had hand stitched by now!

Really enjoyed working with the staff here in search of the perfect bed. Wry had more knowledge on bedding and sleep than I thought would be possible. I would recommend coming here over any other mattress store.

So I decided to go inside just to have a look around. I was met by one of the service representatives (Donte). The professionalism and knowledge of this young man was exceptional! I was very impressed that he was able to break down the fine detail that separated each type of mattress from the other. I did not have any intentions on making a purchase that day, but couldnt pass up a great deal. I recommend this store to anyone that is in the search of finding a top of the line mattress at a great price.

After 10 years I finally purchased the bed of my dreams only to find out that I could have saved my wife about 6 years of waking up with back pain. Jason and Nathan have always been willing to answer questions and addressing any concerns that we had. The delivery crew came in and setup everything in less than 20 minutes and were very professional. We wanted a top line, adjustable bed. We read information online, but wanted to buy locally to look someone in the eye and to actually touch the product. We went to the Sleep Center on a Tuesday evening where we met Mr. Ramon Ortiz. After our questions and his answers and explanations, Ramon left us to decide and choose our mattress. We placed our order with final payment due at delivery. Sleep Center was able to place our order the next day and the bed and mattresses came in a week later. Ramon called and delivery was set for the next day. The installers setup and tested the bed and adjustable mechanisms in quick time. They carried away the old mattress and box springs. We are happy with the new bed and mattresses and look forward to many hours of comfortable and restful sleep.

We purchased a mattress that turned out to be defective, which we determined over the course of a year (after newly-developed back issues and time spent with chiropractors). We contacted them about our mattress; they told us they knew that line of mattresses was defective, & theyd had a bunch of them returned. They did replace the original mattress with one that (so far) isnt defective: different manufacturer & lower price...but we had to pay full retail for the second one, as they dont discount replacement purchases. However, they refused to give us back the difference in price of the two sets--nearly $700.00! Our choices were 1) buy another mattress we didnt need or 2) buy another product they sell, like $300 sheet sets or $100 pillows. Either way, the $700 remains in their hands. After a few months we stopped in to the store to ask for our money back, since we are happy with the second mattress but dont need of any other products they sell. One of the owners, Jason, promised a follow-up call from the CFO (Nate) within 3 days. 2 weeks later, we hadnt heard from them, so we went to the store to again ask for a refund of the difference.After a lengthy, contentious, & heated phone conversation with Nate, we finally reached an end we will live with just to be rid of these guys, but cant say were happy with: Nate finally agreed to refund $500 of the nearly $700, & had it processed while we stood there. Yes, it does speak volumes that we were willing to give these guys $200 just to be done with them. We hope it was worth it.

I have needed a new mattress for over a year. Every time I started to look for one I gave up. I just wasn’t comfortable laying on mattresses in front of people. Then I walked into Sleep Center and I couldn’t have been made to feel more comfortable. Ricky Wright was patient, informative and gave me the space I needed to make the right decision. I have now purchased my first TempurPedic mattress and sleep pain free! If you are going to make a purchase this big, you need to buy it from people you can trust. You don’t need to go anywhere else.

I’m really happy with this place for sure. Ricky will give you the straight facts and he doesn’t care if he sells you the most expensive bed or the cheapest in the store. He just wants to address what YOU want in a bed which speaks very loudly of how this store is ran. My first bed was the 2019 proadapt Tempurpedic which I got a store credit to go along with it. I was pleased with this bed but I’m a hot sleeper and they had the cooling beds on sale for Labor Day. So after sleeping on the first bed for about a week I came back in and paid the $500 difference to get a different one with the cooling technology. They didn’t make me pay the restocking fee on the first bed because I was upgrading which is awesome. I got the new bed, two free pillows and a free sheet set for my bed in total for the price of just the bed. I am very happy with the service and everything encompassing the Sleep Center of Columbus. If you’re bed shopping, make the drive here and you will not regret it. Thank you for the great service Ricky and everyone else! Also, the delivery guys are awesome and very friendly.

Amazing experience purchasing our Tempur-pedic mattress. After moving to Columbus Georgia from overseas getting a mattress was our number one priority. We were able to purchase our Tempur-pedic and have it delivered the next day. They even offered to give us a temp mattress if the Tempur-pedic was not available. We bought our first Tempurpedic bed today. The staff here was great. Wry answered our questions and gave good information but never came off like a creepy car salesman. We got same day delivery. The guys who delivered were in and out in about 10 minutes. They offered to do more than they were obligated to do. They offered to take away our old bed. When we told them we were keeping it, they offered to set it up in another room for us.We are not sure that we wIll like the bed. However, this place gets five stars for customer service.

Sleep Center and Wry Wright are a major success. I just got my new sealy hybrid and I havent slept this good in years. And this new cool gel memory foam pillow I got did not disappoint. Robert and Dyron were the best delivery guys and if I had 10 stars to give my process from the time we walked in the door to just look I would. Wry had great knowledge of the mattress and he didnt mind me jumping on all the beds till I got to the one I loved!

And, Kristian Ciesielskis experience below is not an exception. Jason sold us our first mattress; he was informative, professional, patient while we tried pretty much every mattress in the store, and very helpful. When we bought a new mattress and frame extender for our guest room for an antique bed, Ramon fixed a problem with our mattress that was our mistake after we saw that the mattress was too high for the headboard without question. Jason and Ramon are awesome and are the reason why we go to the Sleep Center for all our mattress needs.

The Sleep Center was well equipped with various different mattress brands and great deals on bed frames, foundations, sheets, and pillows. As soon as my significant other and I walked in, Donte addressed our specific sleep issues and needs, and he directed us to beds that were accordingly the right fit for us. We were left with plenty of time to try each mattress and decide, and we were given numerous options to choose from based on our price range and comfort preferences. The Sleep Center is a local business, and it was the first and last place we stopped at for a mattress; there was no need for us to go anywhere else. I was beyond impressed with Donte and the wide selection we had to choose from, and I know the Tempur-Pedic we landed on will be a great improvement on our quality of sleep for years to come.

Was referred here this past week by so many people to include our roommates. They just purchased a Temperpedic from them and are loving life sleeping. Based off everyone talking so highly of this place on prices, deals, and just being so happy with their sleep we decided to go in. I met with Jason the owner first he was the nicest, most caring, knowledgeable person I’ve ever dealt with in our search for beds. it actually frustrated me that some customers were very rude to him and others while we were there for no reason all. Anyways I left that day to come back two days later after we made our decision and went with the temperpedic breeze and two nice pillows. donte made the deal with us and was also very nice and patient. there was no sense of rush or pushing to buy something by any sale person in that place they were so nice. We will continue to buy beds from them as long as we live here and I can speak for about 15 other people who will do the same, people that already have been back here multiple times and I see why now after I went to all the other places in town.

We went to the store maybe three to five times in the process of trying to figure out which mattress we wanted. Each and every time we went felt more and more like we were dealing with family. There was never any pressure to buy and they were very patient answering all the questions we had. We primarily dealt with Donte for the sale but talked to everyone I think over the course of our visits there and all were awesome. On one of our visits Wry ( sorry if I spelled it wrong) promised my daughter he would have hot dogs for her the next time she came and what do you know. The next time we came, he cooked up hot dogs for my daughter and my son while we were shopping in the store working with Donte. When you are making a purchase like this you not only want to feel good about what you bought, but you also want to feel good about who you buy it from. Even after the purchase one of the discounts from the manufacturer didnt apply to our purchase the way I expected it to and to resolve the issue Wry gave us a credit in the store for the amount of the discount which worked out great to buy new sheets for the beds. Even the delivery guys were awesome and we just had the bed delivered today. Quick courteous clean and didnt leave any thing behind and were more than willing to explain the operation of the bed if needed. I cant say enough good things about Sleep Center of Columbus. If youre in the market to buy a bed, the least you could do is stop by and check them out. I dont think youll be disappointed. From bed in a box to Tempurpedic they have it all and theres usually something on clearance in the store. So make your next move your best move and go down to the Sleep Center of Columbus. I went into this store about five times before I made my purchase. I actually never intended to make a purchase at this store, but changed my mind. My family is in the process of moving out of state and I wanted to leave our old mattress with my parents for their guest room and get a new one for us when we moved. I went into the store to test mattresses so that I could order one online and have it sent directly to our new home out of state. The guys in this store were very understanding and informative. They did not try to push me on anything. They did not fill me with lies to try and get me to question online mattress buying. I chose to buy from them because they gave me a fair price on a nice mattress and I decided that buying it now would ensure that I would have one for my first night in my new home, where as, because time was drawing so near for the move, ordering one might have left me on the floor for at least a few nights. I went into another mattress store in town as well where the salesmen told me lies to sway me against purchasing online and constantly force fed me over-the-top sales pitches for their store while I was testing the products. The guys at the Sleep Center Columbus GA let me test all their beds and didnt bother me unless I had a question. They gave correct information that could all be backed up by my own research. They had a no-pressure sales approach that was genuine and welcoming. They carry fantastic products that are difficult to walk away from with very fair pricing. They delivery team was ABOVE AND BEYOND. My new bed is by far one of the best things I have ever bought....maybe even the best thing. Every time I lay on it I wonder how I wasted all that time with my lumpy old queen sized mattress with unforgiving coils and almost no padding. My new bed is a TEMPUR-PEDIC and I really do love it. I dont think any other mattress I could have bought would fit the bill like this one. Even though I got a deal, this is something I would have paid full price for after sleeping on it. I learned that mattresses are one of those things that you do not buy because it is on sale. You buy it because its the one. If its on sale great, but like a wedding dress, you shouldnt buy it unless you love it enough to pay full price. In August 2012, my elderly mother informed me she was no longer comfortable on her old mattress set. My sister-in-law recommeded I use The Sleep Center. I took my mother to the store to test out and select her new mattress set. We got the set delivered 45 minutes away to her home. Over the next week, my mother found the mattress set she selected to be too firm. I phoned The Sleep Center and informed them of her issue with her selection, and the owner Jason allowed me to switch my mothers mattress set to a softer one. Theyagain delivered the new set 45 minutes away andmade the switch. Over that next week, my indecisive mother found her new mattress set to be too soft (smile). I then had to phone Jason once again to inform him I needed to switch back to the firmer set. I apologized for any inconvenience and honestly didnt think they would go for another switch. However, Jason understood my situation with my elderly mother and told me he would do whatever it took to ensure she was happy and comfortable. He arranged the last exchange of mattress sets. I would highly recommend The Sleep Center to anyone due to Jasons compassion and sympathy for my unique situation.
