Mike & DJ have done it again!!They recommended an all new JVC Car Play stereo for my 2012 Camaro. it works flawlessly and it is wireless Car Play!! I told them what I wanted and the stereo exceeded my expectations. Very clean installation & it works with all the factory tech. I cant begin to say how thankful I am for these guys. I was able to accomplish something that I thought was impossible. I retrofitted a 2021 rs5 steering wheel into my 2013. I bought the steering wheel with the shift module however the yellow plug pin out for the new steering wheel did not match my old steering wheel. I also needed to add a module that converts the old signal canbus to the new signal linbus These guys were able to add a 2.2 ohm resistor, and swap the pins on my airbag to match the old airbag! This has never been done to my knowledge and after putting the airbag in, IT WORKS!!! They went above and beyond to help me rewire the harness and the results were impeccable. Thank you soundinvestments, you guys rock!

The gentleman that answers the door swindled me out of $800 dollars he will explain things like he knows what u need but once I paid cash he instantly placed my money in his pocket and I was asked to drop my vehicle off that weekend which I did with in two weeks the speaker’ box went out I brought it in they fixed it within 10 minutes next day it was back not working I was asked to leave my car overnight again after telling the owner about this gimmick he said don’t come back in my store I mean I have a contract that states they are to provide lifetime service and in the corner of the receipt it will say no refunds so I’m stuck with absolutely nothing so beware 🚷❌❌❌I would definitely never invest in thier sound systems-thanks for reading and take caution 💯they will sell u trash inorder to make a living real sad unprofessional and more like dealing with a real life peasant swindling vulnerable people out of hundreds of dollars ❗️Also almost forgot they hooked the wiring up to my alternator and my electrical system is giving out now my deck no longer works

The Worst InvestmentI went to this business to get my touch screen radio repaired. The initial meeting was the decent and that’s how this terrible business reels you in. The man (the one behind the counter) said that my radio could be fixed, it just had to be sent off for a diagnostic test that would take about two weeks. I paid the cost of removing the unit and shipping. (BEWARE- they don’t have a price scale and the cashier tells you the services that you need and pushes an invoice across the counter with the expectation that you pay whatever amount they come up with. This is highly unprofessional.)Four weeks later, my radio still isn’t fixed and now the issue is in another piece of equipment connected to the radio and I was expected to once again pay whatever amount they wanted to charge me.There were other issues as well, i.e. their condescending attitude and inability to provide an proper service wait time (as if the customer’s time isn’t valuable).Update- I took my car to the dealership (Mark Wahlberg of Worthington), they did a complete inspection, reconnected/tested my radio, and found there were no issues with my car.If you need a repair or an audio inspection done, go somewhere else.

Ive had the same system since my kids were in car seats from these guys when they were on Oakland Park.Now their about to graduate high school. System just quit. These guys never disappoint. My old system has gone from car to car with no problems. Just had to replace my amp and sub. Now im back like I never left! And with an upgrade! 10 stars!!!!!

Hi! I had paid for the system install about 2-3 years ago. This was my first ever time doing so; I ordered every single piece of equipment I needed besides little things. They installed, the first set up everything went smoothly although I felt I was not taken seriously. The first system failed and I paid a lot of money for them to replace everything with their products. This was now the second system they had installed (I replaced power wire myself because they used 8 gauge idk why???) since then I’ve taken my business elsewhere!This is a bad review because I was not taken seriously and come to find out...yesterday I had aftermarket work done...a very expensive part is not where I was told it was!!! It was missing and I hope it’s not “stolen”! Pretty sure I bought a normal adapter too.. MAYBE but definitely bought a LC2i box! It’s not behind my dash, the wiring for it was in a plastic Walmart looking adapter? Did they take it? I will be tracing my steps getting any evidence I can today! Of course this was three years ago, but still I paid good money for it! It raises questioning as if they mounted it somewhere else?, but it’s not making sense...WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Fantastic experience. 4 years ago I had them install a remote start and was told when I got another car they would transfer it for a reduced labor charge. They totally honored that commitment, and even added the ability to start my car from the factory key fab so I didnt have to carry multiple fabs. Great service from an owner that genuinely cares and does quality work. Highly recommend!

I went to see Mike and DJ for an odd request for the system in my Jeep Wrangler. They were very open to what I had in mind and did a great job for me on something I was told could not be done. Took my vehicle in for amp install and speakers. If the speakers didn’t work to rewire the speakers only to come back to pick up the car . Finding only the amp was installed for them to tell me there was something going on with the wiring when I told them the wiring I wanted redone still charge me $160 and when I got in my car my antenna wasn’t even hooked back up. Poor Customer service as in trying to oversell everything in the store and not getting things done as they stated when I drop the vehicle off and still charged me for speaker install and amp hook up.

Sound Investment employees were very knowledgeable about their products. I needed some good quality speakers to match up with an amp I purchased. They helped me pick the right speakers and informed me of some best practices to optimize my sound! They did a great job with installation. No wires showing, everything tidy and neat. Speakers sound great. They are the definition of audiophiles, they love their music and it shows in the pride they take in their work. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking to add some music to their car.

I am unhappy because I looked them up on google and saw they can check your preamplifier that come with your vehicle to see if it work or not . I paid them 48 $ to still tell me that they are not sure if its the amplifier or stereo itself. The amplifier was removed from my vehicle but it was not reinstalled back in my truck . Upon driving home I thought to myself why didnt he hook it back up because I had no intentions on sending any of my vehicle equipment to be checked. Then when I called them to let them know I wanted it to be installed back in my vehicle as the preamplifier was before they supposedly checked it I was told by Darryl that it would be a fee . AND YES BECAUSE DARRYL COULD SEE I REFUSE TO TAKE THAT AS AN ANSWER HE HAD ME RETURN BACK IN 1 HOUR TO HAVE IT HOOKED BACK UP AS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ANYWAYS. I am very disappointed with this company. I dont recommend them to do work for anyone. And my 1st RED FLAG was how I saw the owner treat the customer before me. BAD BUSINESS BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SHADYI AM A STATE EMPLOYEE WORST SERVICE EVER . I GIVE THIS COMPANY 3 THUMBS DOWN

Great service! We had a remote start installed on my wifes Oddysey. I expected that the new remotes would replace the old factory unit, and it would stop working (based on some comments I had seen about remote start installation in general) but they all three work! Better than I had hoped for.

Sound Investment installed a remote starter on my Toyota Sienna minivan, which has proved to my wifes favorite (early) Christmas present in 10 years. The service was excellent, and their work exceeded my expectations. The owner was personally invested in assuring that we were happy with the outcome. Id rather give my business to honest, hardworking, local small business owners over their mega-retailer competitors (Wal-Mart, Best Buy, etc) any day of the week.

Waste of $250. Within a month of getting a radio installed , it was glitching and cutting off as i went over bumps. I spoke to a person and he told me it’s not worth even bringing back in and try to use an eraser to clean it . Obviously that didn’t work , and now my radio doesn’t play anything. I have to ride around in $250 silence. I should’ve kept my stock radio and saved my money. Do NOT recommend at all. Heed my warning & GO TO ANOTHER SHOP!

Took my 2015 RoadGlide to these guys for an amp and speaker install. Dropped the bike of on Tuesday and was told it would be done on Wednesday. Received a call Wednesday around 1pm letting me know everything was done and I could come pick up my bike. These guys are very professional, knowledgeable and keep their word. Also, the price I was quoted remained the same. Excellent experience with Sound Investment and Ill refer these guys to anyone needing audio work.

Excellent work installing a flip down monitor in my car. Super fast work and friendly staff. Had a hiccup with installation but they made it right in ten-fold. Will definitely be coming to them for any future car audio needs.

These guys know the business, and can work magic when other local big name installers say no way. I have a 2019 Subaru WRX manual transmission model that I have been told by several shops, they just cant do. Sound Investment took the time to talk me through the entire process, gave me multiple options, and helped me decide what was best for my scenario. I could not possibly be more pleased with the experience, service, and incredible value they provided in doing such an outstanding job. I wish id called them first, they deserved the business, and earned a loyal customer for life.

Sound Investment has done 2 of my vehicles for the tvs in the headrest, also got 2 remote starters put in from them have never had any problems with either of them I purposely waited a long time to write the review to make sure nothing has gone wrong, if you want reasonable pricing, flawless work and excellent customer service I would give Sound Investment your business you will definitely be glad you did.

Sound Investment installed a remote starter on my wife’s Honda Civic as a early Christmas gift (figure better now that the temperatures are dropping). Dropped it off at 9am, and it was done a few hours later. The guy at the desk gave my wife a rundown on how to use it, and also let us know that the factory key fob would also start the car, which I personally find useful, one less aftermarket fob to carry around. The install from what I can tell was clean, the only thing you see is an antenna from the top of the windshield. I normally go to another major car audio place in Columbus, but their prices have become outrageous! I don’t think nobody in Columbus could beat Sound Investments prices. I happened to catch a Black Friday deal I saw on their Facebook page. Sound Investment will now get 100% of my business.

Best place to get sound and security done period!Not going to lie, when I first walked into the place, I wondered if I was leaving my vehicle in a good place or not. My truck had been broken into about 2 weeks prior so I decided to get a security system installed, as well as replace the head unit that I had stolen in the first place. Like I said I was nervous when I first got there because the place didnt seem like the top notch facility I had in my head. BUT BOY WAS I WRONG! These guys hooked me up and did some amazing work! I could not be happier with what they did, and they went above and beyond what they needed to do to get my truck back to perfect shape. I would say that my stereo works better now than it ever did befor, and the security instal was as good as they come. I will recommend them to anyone and for sure be a return customer!

Well that didnt go good. So I recently purchased a remote start car alarm and need it installed. I looked about the market to find what appeared to be respectable business to have this investment installed by. Sound Investment made that list. After doing so more research I narrowed down the field and decided to go with these guys and gave them a call.Well, that didnt turn out the way I had imagined. Not only did you lose my business, but you earned a horrible review as well, congratulations..........So, I called them and said I have a car alarm to install and told the guy the car it would be going into. He said ok and looked up his times. He said tomorrow at 9am is fine, well as shocking as it may be, I actually work full-time Monday - Friday. Wow how amazing right? I proceeded to ask him if a Saturday is available as I work during that time and it will nor work for me. This is the response I got, A Saturday is not available to you as you didnt buy the alarm from me. What!?!?!??? He claims Saturday is his premium time and had the unit been purchased at his store he would install it then. So I then asked I would have to purchase one from you to have a Saturday install and if I dont Monday - Friday is all that is available? He answered my question with a YES. I then laughed and said ok thanks.Customer service is horrid with this place, clearly. Last time I checked, whether I bought the unit from the business or not I should be able to request the time that suits me. A review of this stature can really hurt a business. Why should I have to buy something I already had to get the time that suits me. If anybody else will do the same I understand the competition, but now this profitable sale of an install from me just went to your competition.So is this idea the same for any car audio you already have laying around you just want installed at this business? I mean seriously are you trying to stay in business long or not??

I had a Sony XAV-5000 head unit installed in my 2016 Subaru Impreza. Overall, the installation looks good and works effectively, but there are some annoying issues that I would not have expected with a professional install, which I will go into more detail below (skip to the bottom if you want a quick summary).One of the more annoying issues that has caused a 3 star review is the loss of functionality of the OEM USB charging ports. During the process of deciding on which product/company to work with, I was assured that even if the stock USB charging ports could not be used as the main connectors to the new Sony head unit, that they would at least still be able to be used as chargers.However, after the installation, they are now useless. When I realized this, it was after paying and had taken the car home. When I called Sound Investment back to try and get this rectified, I was told that it was impossible to get them to work again, and there was nothing Sound Investment could do to get them working again. Had I been told about this before hand, it probably would not be a big deal, but its very frustrating to be told one thing then told after the fact it cant be done. I am not an expert in this field so I cannot say Sound Investment is wrong, but it does seem hard to believe it cant be done.The other issue is the loss of some of the functionality of the steering wheel functions. Again, the system works ok and I have enough functionality to make it work, but not to the level I would have expected shelling out money for a professional to do the work. I have seen videos online of people showing the exact same Sony head unit with the same year and model vehicle having more functionality of their steering wheel controls after a DIY install than I do now. And that is with an extra $119 spent on a Maestro harness to give me that functionality, which the DIY video states they did not need.Again, I am not an expert in this field, and will not claim that I know more than the guys at Sound Investment. However, seeing these videos of a better functioning end result from a DIY does not make me feel better about the purchase.Overall Impressions:-Would I have been better off trying to DIY this project? Maybe, but I may have screwed something up that would have resulted in bigger headaches.-Does the system work? Yes, it works so I cannot give a lower rating in good faith.-Am I fully satisfied? Not fully, but well enough that I wont make a huge deal about it.-Would I recommend Sound Investment to others?- I would not discourage someone from spending money there, but I would not jump to give them my recommendation at this point. Which is a bummer, as I like to support local small businesses, and I wanted to come away from this experience with a 5 star review, but the experience so far as not warranted that.

Bought two different stereos . Both times had to come back with in a week . To have it reinstalled . Second time I came back . Told me I had to make an appointment. To have the stereo I just bought looked at after jus 9 days . Brushed me off like it wasnt important . Had jus spent almost $400 on a tv deck and was very unhappy with how I was treated after that . Ended up going to another stereo shop . To have it looked at . And was told it wasnt hooked up rite. If you need music done in your vehicle make sure you by pass this place !! Horrible service !!

They basically stole my money, they took a perfectly good auto start out of my car and charged my battery and put a new one in...THAT I DIDNT NEED...THEYRE CROOKS...go up the street and get a good deal..I went there early I the week and asked the owner.... did you think I needed a new battery... he said no your car starts with the key so its fine. I go there today and Im wondering whats taking so long 9am-12:30... he tells me Im charging your battery... so he basically took out the old one for nothing....of course after he so,called installed it. RUN FROM THESE I DONT KNOW HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM 319$ CROOKS
