The new Plaza Tapatía is a big update from the old one. There’s a great variety of grocery items to choose from, a big meat and seafood section as well as a coffee bar, bakery, ice cream bar and candy land! The staff is very helpful and friendly. The buffet section has plenty of foods to choose from if you just want to stop in for lunch. Check it out!

What an eye opening wonderful place to shop. I was overwhelmed with the Bakery first of all. WOW. Been back twice for fresh Bollos. Meat was great. If they dont have it out.. which is a lot of choices, they will cut it right in front of you. Nice. Have their own candy store, and a sit down bar.

Store is very clean, exceptional for an internationally oriented store, well stocked, and prices are reasonable to well below average. This store would be worth 5 stars but Im docking it one for two reasons. First, many of the employees I encountered did not understand English well, the store serves a lot of international customers who speak Spanish and that is the native language of most of the staff. Second, I was disappointed when I attempted to buy 1/4 of a pound of scallops. The guy kept asking if I said 4 pounds, I replied no, ONE Fourth then brought out a calculator and typed 0.25 to try to make it clear that is what I want. The guy acted bewildered. A second employee told me that they simply will not sell less than one pound. That is ironic. I was able to buy 1/2 pound of chicken stir fry from another employee. I think someone did not know the seat of their pants from a hole in the ground.

Our vehicle was broken into, and got my I Phone stolen on September 06, 2021 around 6:30 PM on labor day while going into the store to grab some beef ribs.After realizing the incident, I went back inside the store to seek help since they have security camera installed on the building, unfortunately I received no assistance up until I ran in to a Franklin Township Police Officer who was on duty walked in to the store. I approached the Officer who was willing to help, after showing him where our vehicle was parked, the officer insisted we went inside the store and see if we find anything from the camera. We got no immediate help even after walking up to the customer service desk, then the Officer went to go ask a cashier for help, after telling the cashier about the incident, she replies Again, which indicated that Theft was NORM to them in that store. We waited for a mere 20 minutes to finally told us after taking the officer into a room that a spot where we parked our vehicle was not covered by the Security Camera.I suggest you to ensure the safety of your belongings by parking your vehicle in the range of Security Camera Coverage and possibly leave someone in the vehicle while shopping, since our car was broken into easily even though it was locked. Beware of the management of the store as well since it took us more than 30 minutes to finally got help with what we needed even with the presence of a law enforcement officer.Be Cautious and be Aware people..

The new store is amazing! Holy crow.... everything you could ever need. Bakery, butcher, deli and bar. Even a well stocked party supply area. This is a must stop store any time we are in Columbus.

Fantastic! it is not just a grocery store. They have prepared food that was delicious. They have a great selection of meat and seafood. Omg there is a completely separate shop just for candy called candy land. My kids loved the ice cream momma loved the full bar. You have to experience this place.

This place has is little Mexico! I love that they have freshly made, hot and ready to go food and a place to get drinks. They have it all!! Very friendly and helpful staff!!

First of all, I want to try EVERYTHING here. The store is light, bright, and well laid out. There were so many ingredients that I could only get on-line, now just a moments drive away. We bought baked goods, candy and some bread. And a case of Jarritos in Ts favorite flavors. We will definitely be back!

Yikes!! Very expensive !!!It’s a Latino grocery, looks fairly new and there is a good selection of products, BUT, relative to other Latino stores in town their prices are way too highI would very much avoid and save your hard earned dollars !!!

If you are looking for Mexican that isnt Americanized in Cbus- head over! This is on the West-side across from Hollywood Casino. The Molcajete is a dish of various meat, seafood, cheese and cactus that will speak to your heart. They have homeade corn tortilla. They have live bands, a traditional Mexican sweets shop that has the most amazing handmade icecream, flavored water (the cucumber will curl your toes) and fresh fruit popsicles. Attached is the Latin grocery that has an amazing bakery, huge meat counter and a sweets shop for every Mexican candy you could every want. I wish my video would post bc these pics dont do it justice. Buy ALL THE THINGS!

This was my third trip to this new store. I live out east but really enjoy the store.

Outstanding baked goods! Meat department is fantastic!There are at least a dozen things that you can only find at this sort of grocery. The staff is super friendly. If the customer doesnt speak Spanish, most of them speak sufficient English to get the job done. (Mandatory masks muffle sounds, causing difficulties for old, deaf guys like me.) Thank you, to the staff, for your patience with me.

Pretty authentic tasting Mexican restaurant + market! Prices are a little higher than im used to but worth it considering I wasnt expecting to find a place like this out in the middle of Ohio! Visiting from Texas and it was quite a pleasant surprise! Highly recommended if youre looking for some really good Mexican food/groceries.

Good selection of items. Lots of ready to eat to try. Bakery has many treats to choose from, but go early for the most. I can’t recommend the carnitas, though. Ordered a pound and after taking out the bones, fat, gristle and tripe, I had less than a half a pound, not a good deal at $9.

First time I had ever been in this store. This is a great store. They have fresh meats in the back that you order by the pound. We had spent 40.00 and I got a variety of meat and other misc things. I highly recommend the chicken fajita meat. You cant go wrong. Its already seasoned and ready to go. The best chicken Ive ever had. The people are very nice too. The store is very clean and well organized. I will likely buy my meat from here for now on. The pricing is so good. I highly recommend....

Grocery store is awesome. Has everything you need, plus more. Their bakery is out of this world, so delicious, just a little too expensive on some desserts. The restaurant isnt bad. Food is pretty good, just think it depends who is cooking at that time, whether its delicious or just okay.

This place has roaches and mice. Check the health department reports. Its crazy theyre still in business. Nothing against the workers, just safety and health concerns management should consider before selling to the public.

One of the best Mexican store in Columbus, Ohio. It has a variety of selections. The meat department has the best selection of meats. They even have goat meat!

Every time I have gone to this store I have experienced bad service. Their prices are fair and their food and meats are good but their customer service can use improvement. All the employees from the lady in the bakery section to the butchers to the cashiers are ALL rude. No one really acknowledges you and they all have an attitude that makes it seem they hate their job. The cashiers always seemed rush. I understand they can get busy but they practically throw your groceries in the bags. As I mentioned the only reason I keep going back is because I really like their products. If this place does not make a change soon I feel they are going to loose business. Your employees are the face of your business. Very disappointed!

Food is delicious. Waitresses are a disaster. The one we got kept forgetting to bring things we asked for. We also ordered food to go as soon as we arrived. We left after an hour and the order was still not ready. It was a simple dish. No excuse for it being late other than the waitress forgot to put it in. Definitely wont come back. There are many other delicious Mexican food places where service is highly priced.About the market. Every time I bought meat there if you dont eat it the same day, the very next day the meat is rotten even if you put it on the fridge.

The grocery store is full of fresh produce and has a meat counter with a large amounts of choices for the whole family of fresh cut meats. They even have a separate room for kids party favors including pinatas and candy. Pretty amazing for such a a small store

The service was awful. The waitress that served us seemed like she hated her job. The place was dirty. The menus had salsa/guacamole/ and who knows what other things spread all over them. The chips that they brought us were stale like they were from the past weekend. Some of the chips also has guacamole on them like if they were used before and mixed back in. My little daughter needed a high chair and the high chair they brought us didn’t have the secured straps. Also the high chair was filthy dirty. They should wipe down and clean the baby high chairs! The tacos were not bad. That’s probably the only thing that was descent. Will never go back and I hope you think twice before going. Just an honest review.

The store is great, good variety of Hispanic products. The restaurant is not, service is horrible and food is not that good lacks in flavor. We got half our order and twenty minutes later the second half.

Went into the carryout of the restaurant side and the person inside said he would help me and my friend but then he continues to sit down and ignore us. Next i call the store to possibly do a pickup but the lady didnt understand english and hung up the phone. This is not how you run a business. Food is amazing but service has been lacking lately idk who is managing it but please consider retraining your staff.

Such a great Latino store. Has everything one may need to make authentic Hispanic cuisine. The fresh meat section (butcher/deli) is usually pretty busy but they do a pretty good job keeping it moving. The best part is the candy shop inside! Soooo many cool candies and treats from Mexico and Latin America! Oh and did I mention they also have an icecream shop?? Soooo yummy. But the one thing you MUST try if you stop there is the homemade Orange Juice they have up front. I could literally drink my weight in it, its that good! Prices are low compared to other Latino stores which is great! Just love it there!!!

They take forever for a little simple order which one they have on the menu
