I had my favorite boots re-stiched (the stitching on the uppers had broken after many years). Great value, great work, fast repair and great customer service!
This shop is great for shoe repair. It’s not cheap, so don’t take cheap shoes there. But if you have nice shoes, they can double (or more) the life, for a reasonable cost. I’ve gotten men’s dress shoes resoled, doubling their life for 40-50% cost of a new pair. My motorcycle boots have been resoled twice, and still going strong. Probably get a 3rd resoling this year.Plus, I like to support a local business - not just buy a new pair of shoes from China/Thailand/etc.
Ive used them for repairs at least a dozen times over the years. Usually just sole replacement, but some leather repair and few times too. Always helpful and pleasant. Repairs have always been good quality. The soles they have used are light and durable. In fact they are so nice that Im tempted to take my new pair of shoes there because what they put on is so much lighter and more comfortable. The only hassle is short north parking.
I had the pleasure of working with two gentlemen, one whose name I dont recall but he was polite and helpful, and another (the owner) named Farook. They did my Thursday Captain boots wonders! They look smooth and with a deeper, livier brown now

They were able to alter my daughters tall riding boots after no one else would take the job. They look amazing (and now actually fit her). They were friendly and easy to work with and kept us updated on progress. I will absolutely go back to them for any other shoe repairs I might need.
They are very good, but I loked their Dublin location 1000 times better. The parking g &ocation pf their 5th Avenue store has no parking & is a one way street, so it is extremely difficult to pick up & drop of what needs repaired! The quality is a 5 star, but the location makes it drop to 3 stars
First and foremost, Farrukh at Enchanted Shoe Repair is courteous, professional and responsive. I recently brought in a new pair of shoes to have protective soles put on and left the shop. Farrukh called me to say that he noticed a spot on one of the shoes. I quickly returned and the spot was minimal, but it speaks to the care that he puts into his work. He also once successfully decreased the heel height on a pair of boots and was still able to maintain the stance and the boots are now more comfortable. Its always nice to know that you are taking your items, whether shoes or clothing, to a place that cares. In addition, the quality of the work excellent and if something is not quite right, they will fix it. I will not take my shoes anywhere else and its good to see that these type of services are still available with artisans who care about their craft.

Very friendly and very timely. I was told it would take a week and a half to do some repairs to two pairs of boots I had. The work was explained well. When they were ready I received a text letting me know they were finished. Love that part so I didnt have to worry about calling or anything. The boots turned out great. Will definitely go back for any and all shoe repair needs.
The first time I took a pair of shoes to this shop I got them back with glue all over them. I gave these guys the benefit of the doubt and brought back a second pair. This time its even worse theres glue all over them and black ink all along every side of my $400 shoes.I suggest you find somewhere else to take your shoes Ill never be back.
Had high expectations for this place. My purse got its handle fixed, however the quality of work was not so great. I let that pass as I guess it might have been a bit challenging. The reason I give 2 stars is due to lack of formality. I I left a pair of boots to get an expensive fix ($ 100+), sole and heel replacement. They were going to look at it and see if they could do it. When I got the message to pick up my order, I got asked if I picked the correct shoes (?). Anyways, I let him know I would pick my purse on the weekend and inquired about my boots. No answer. Today I picked up my items and at first they did not know where they were. Once found, the purse was fixed and the boots were not fixed at all. I am glad I have a back up boots, however it may not be the case for other people. This lack of formality is what pushes customers away. Actually, Im kind of glad that the boots were untouched, based on the quality of work on the purse.
They’ve created a repeat customer.I went to enchanted shoe repair for the first time recently and was pleased to have received a pair of shoes that look brand new. The shoes were resoled/polished and now look great.
Jumped thru all the hoops to set up an app to pay for the parking spot, so I could drop my boots off on the way to work, only to walk around the corner and find that they were closed, at 2:30 on a Wednesday.
Great and fast service
Work was quick (about 5 days) for 3 pairs of shoes. However, do NOT waste your money getting your shoes shined or waterproofed. When I picked up my shoes and told the employee that my shoes did not look shined his response was, Not all leather shoes can get shined. I was in a hurry so I didnt argue, however his statement is 99% false. I was in the Marine Corps, and can shine a nylon fabric if I need to... Its all about the effort you put in combined with several applications of conditioner/polish/shiner. Two of the pairs of leather shoes are high quality and I have multiple pairs... the others have never had a problem getting the desire spit-shine.Furthermore, the waterproofing was poor quality, if it was done at all. Its barely sprinkling out and my leather shoes immediately started becoming saturated from light rain drops, ergo you need to either do a better method or product. Using a beeswax with turpentine will absorb into the leather, and act as a shield for multiple minutes before letting in a slight amount of water. Immediate saturation from a few sprinkles is completely unacceptable. I will not return, Id rather spend a few hours and do it myself correctly. No wonder they make you pay in advance.
Love both of the enchanted show repair locations. I really like boots and I wear them through. Came in here to have some heels replaced and soles protected, great job on those. Ive also had some leather shoes stretched out at the other location which helped a little (shoes were still too tight, but they warned me before I spent money that might be the case).
Ok work on reattaching buttons to suede but the threads are already coming out... Not even a whole season.. Might do better on shoes

Have brought in several thrashed (salt damage, water damage, extreme wear on heels and soles) boots for repair and each time my shoes have come back with even *durable* heels, sole protectors and clean suede (not an all-in-one, each is a differently priced service, but worth it). Proprietors are friendly and service (at least for my thrashed boots) took approximately a week, which I consider more than fair. Accessible hours and practically on the High Street COTA lines. Prices are more than reasonable. Keep your receipt.

I love heels, and leather shoes. As we know with the snow up north snow and salt to treat the snow discolored them. But G a am so happy with enchanted shoe repair. They look like new. Yeah

There was a pretty unpleasant attendant/assistant at the front desk when I walked in. Every question I asked was answered very matter of fact condescending way with sighs and eye rolls. I asked for a price but at that point it didnt matter, I decided to take my business elsewhere. I will say that pricing seemed comparable to other shoe places in the area. I cant comment on their quality of work directly but if they have the same dedication as their customer service I would not count on it.
I brought in some boots to get re-soled and some other work done. I think the prices were very reasonable considering the repairs that needed to be done. I was quoted a week turnaround time and came back in two to find that the shoes had been re-soled but nothing else had been done. I was also told the shoes would have be polished upon pick-up, they werent. If your going to charge me up front for services how about holding up your end of the deal and actually complete those services?

Let me start with saying my girlfriend recommended this store,and I really wanted to like them. That said, this was one of the worst experiences Ive ever had with a store, and I dont say that lightly.When I dropped off my two pairs of dress shoes for new soles, I was left standing at the counter for about 10 minutes while those in the back kept looking at me. Eventually one came out and explained that they thought someone else was taking care of me. Disorganization of the entire store was apparent - bags of shoes all over, no method of knowing whos are where.I dropped them off on 11/9, and he told me two weeks. After 4 weeks, I call the store, leave a message, and get no response. I call the store again another day, no answer, leave another message - no response.I go into the store on Saturday, They spent 10 minutes looking all over the store for the guys shoes in front of me. The other customer eventually goes to the back himself to find his shoes. He finds them still being worked on after the promised date. He also called the store for status, left a message - no response.Now its my turn. I give the gentleman at the register my slip. He spends about 5 minutes (i was lucky!) looking around and finds my shoes hanging right underneath the front counter. Whats the problem?, you ask. They handt been touched in the entire month they were been there.At this point, I just ask for my $125 back. The guy manning the front - genuinely nice and trying to help, but didnt have a clue - calls the owner to figure out how to process a refund. 3 people standing behind me at this point.The owner asks to speak to me, so the guy hands me the phone, his hands shaking (I felt bad for him), and the owner tries to convince me through the phone Give me two more days! Ill have it done in 2 days! Of course, when I brought them in, the guy explained it would take 2 weeks, because he need to order the soles (which they hadnt done). Eventually got my refund, which is the only reason it gets 2 stars instead of one.Im a little sad writing this. Its the worst review I think Ive given.
The BEST! I was told by 3 other businesses that my husbands gloves from his military days could not be repaired. This was not the case. Enchanted Shoe Repair not only repaired the gloves but cleaned them as well! My husband is elated. Now I know where to take my shoes and suitcase!

Fabulous and quick service! We had a piece of luggage that had a back wheel damaged from the airlines. We had to get new wheels from the manufacturer, and then of course, forgot to take care of fixing them until when we realized wed need that bag for a trip in just a few days. They fixed the wheels in one day for us! We highly recommend them!
I was looking forward to finding a new local place to have my boots resoled in that my previous repair person retired. Unfortunately after having my shoes resoled the heels wore through in one month of wear, a situation that would usually take 9 months. In asking for a replacement I was offered no compensation other than another full price repair. After some debate I was offered a half price repair. I cannot return to a shop that does not stand by its own work.
I have been taking my boots, shoes etc.. here for years and the service is more then perfection. From heal replacements to zipper and sole repair they have done a fabulous job on my foot wear. Yes theyre a bit pricey how ever, they do amazing work and also let you if its in your best interest to fix the shoes versus the cost just to replace them which is honestly cool. So keep up the good work Enchanted Shoe Repair you are definitely me/my shoes BFF. Thanks for your excellent service.
I brought my favorite leather boots to Enchanted Shoe Repair to replace the soles. They were perfectly broken in and fit me great, so I didnt want to completely replace them. The guys at Enchanted Shoe put brand new Vibram soles on my old boots and made them like new. It wasnt cheap, but a top notch job and my boots are good as new! Im completely satisfied with the quality and quick service!

They repaired two of my shoes in a timely manner. But, my shoes never felt the same after. I had nice leather insoles that I wanted replaced, and they put in cloth-like in soles. They were very uncomfortable and never broke in. I felt like my favorite pair of boots were ruined and no longer a daily pair I could wear. Six months later, with minimal wear, the cloth in sole section started ripping out. Not only was I frustrated that I paid for such horrible quality, but I emailed them to make it right and I never was emailed back. They clearly do not care about getting the job done right and fixing mistakes that were made. I took the shoes to a different place out of town and they came back looking and feeling just as they were brand new.

I took a pair of shoes in to get them cleaned up after about 8 months of wearing them. They looked almost new when I got them back and they were able to get them done in only a few days!
The Staff at Enchanted Shoe Repair took a look at my Suede Messenger Bag that I use for school, evaluated the bag and gave me a reasonable time to return it to me in a repaired condition. The product was returned to me on the day it was promised, the messenger bag was repaired for a very reasonable charge, and the work performed was done so amazingly well, that you cant even tell that this was a repair, it looks like new ! Thanks so much for a job well done ! If youre considering having a leather repair, these guys are very trustworthy and do a great job !

My Teva winter boots broke the zipper pull and I brought them here to see if they can fix it. They put a pull on for $10, and because my boots are white and have never been cleaned, I asked them to clean them. When I came to pick them up they appeared almost as dirty as when I dropped them off, and the soft leather was now coarse and and stiff. They charged me $20 for this cleaning. To add insult to injury, when I picked them up the man pulled them out of the bag and said they look like new! They should have called me to tell me that the boots could not be cleaned instead of charging me for it. In short, very expensive and unsatisfied with the work.
I put one of my purses in the shop for a broken handle. It was repaired quickly and the cost was inexpensive. The owner is very friendly! Thanks!

I brought in my favorite pair of shoes whose soles had just kicked the dust for the final time. They worked with me to determine the type of material to use on the soles, even sending pictures of the different sole materials so I could select the one I preferred. The work on my shoes has been top notch (they even used Vibram sole material) and Im so happy I took my shoes to them. The bad news? The polish they put on at then end needed some buffing right off the bat. Overall, I will absolutely be bringing my shoes here in the future. Great shop!

I dropped off a briefcase with stitching on the handle that was coming unraveled. I was told to pick it up in one week. When I arrived to pick it up it wasnt ready. One week to put a few stitches in and its still not ready? I did get it the next day with no apology. I had asked for the associate to put a few reinforcement stitches in the other similar edges but of course they didnt. They also didnt clean up the threads that were unraveling so it will probably continue to do so and I will pay someone else to fix it.
I purchased several designer shoes from Detroit which cost me a pretty penny but after a period of time the shoes began to wear down. While in Detroit I tried to find a decent cobbler shop that would give me the satifaction that I wanted for the soles and heels of my shoes..... all I got is excuses and a poor repair job.... I moved to Columbus,Ohio bring these expensive shoes figuring that I may have to throw them away and buy new shoes to replace them but when I found out about Enchanted Shoe Repair I was so surprised of the professional work that was done to these shoes.... The first pair that I brought in was a trial pair which when I picked them up I was so impressed that I brought the others..... which again was done beautifully... I replaced all my soles and heels on my shoes whice allow me to keep these shoes for another two years...... Well, I explain to them that I had found another expensive pair of shoes that I was going to throw away and if I could get them repaired they requested that I bring them in which I did..... Didnt get the okay on the repair yet due to it was right before the New Year holiday... Will call them today and give you a update when they are done!!!!

I do not recommend this place! I brought my shoes into the store to get the heels and soles fixed. When I returned 9 days later (the day they said the shoes would be ready), they were unable to find my shoes. I waited 10 minutes while they rummaged through boxes and bags, and was then nonchalantly told to put down my name and number and they would call me back once they found them. 6 hours later, when I had not heard back from them, I called to see if they had found my shoes. The man who answered was extremely rude, listed several excuses as to why they hadnt lost my shoes...just couldnt find them, and that their store had some communication issues that they were dealing with instead. In addition to the unprofessional list of excuses, I was told my shoes hadnt even been repaired yet. On top of it all, not a single apology was said to me and I did not receive a refund. Their apparent communication issues, lack of organization, unprofessionalism, and abhorrent customer service will all keep me from returning or recommending this place to any of my friends.

I took three pairs of shoes here to have various things fixed- reheeling, reinforcing soles, etc. Not only was this the most expensive shoe repair Ive been to, but the work had clearly not been done with care and didnt last beyond two weeks. Ill stick with Gahanna Shoe Repair.
