Overall, clean place. Safe with jewelry handling. Spent almost $200 on two pairs of earrings + a cartilage stud. (Jewelry only - not piercing). They don’t sell in pairs. You have to buy the earring post (back piece) and then the front piece x4. 🧐 didn’t know that until I paid and asked for an itemized receipt.Covid - have to check in then wait outside. Still taking walk-ins. Can be lengthy at times.

I have gotten all of my piercings here since college! I finally got to come back home to visit after almost 2 years and had to stop by. I received an absolutely beautiful forward helix and sideburn piercing!! Always have a great time catching up with my piercer Dylan!

Every one I interacted with was professional and knowledgeable they educated me on what was best for my body while taking into consideration my allergies. They were able to get me in as a walk in in a very busy Saturday with no issue and great communication.Christine was MAGIC! She did a great job the whole service was a perfectly timed and smooth process. Such a gifted piercer she made it as painless as possible all things considered. She did a great job to ease my anxiety by explaining what she was doing and warning me when it was gonna get a little spicy 10/10 would have stab me again.

Went here for the first time today. Got my very first nose stud! Christina, the piercer working today, was so nice, understanding and friendly. She gave great advice, explained everything well, made me feel at ease (I was nervous), and did a great job! The front staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The interior of the shop is pretty cool - kind of a mix between modern and retro. They also have a big TV on the wall that you can scroll through pictures of many of the piercings theyve done there. Would absolutely recommend this place!

I went here today for an industrial ear piercing....Dylan did an amazing job...placement looks perfect. I was looking for a piercer who has a lot of experience with this type of piercing and he really assured me and I was confident in him doing it. I left two different shops this weekend because I just wasnt confident in them doing it...Also the women at the front desk was a sweetheart!

Besides, my earrings, which I had done as a baby, all my piercings were done here!! Some have fallen out, but once Covid is taken care of, I will be back to get them replaced! Staff is kind! Ive had nipple piercings and theyre respectful!

Had to write a review to say Kathleen is the best!!!!!! When I first went in for my nipple piercings, she spent a good 20 minutes answering all my questions about them. She gave me great, professional advice which was super helpful during my healing process. Also, on 2 separate occasions, I had issues with my piercings and she calmed me down and gave me her professional opinion about them. She has made me feel comfortable and calm several times, which is very important to me because I am very sensitive when it comes to piercings. She is the best!!!!

Went in for a philtrum (medusa) piercing late August. The piercer was very confident about their abilities, saying the philtrum had been the 1st piercing theyd done in the industry. So here I go trusting them.Time comes for the piercing, and the piercer is acting too cool for the job, grabbing the tissue aggressively/ sloppily with the clamps. It didnt feel right but next moment later its in.As Im heading out, they suggest a shorter bar. Shorter than normal. Bc of the tension from the short bar and the aggressive handling my piercing became embedded and I developed a couple balls of extra tissue. I endured through the swelling and pain for a month bc of work and life events.I shouldve NEVER came here let alone the SECOND time.So late September Im able to go in again cause I need HELP. Hear this. I PAID for them to  fix THEIR error. I went in for advice and got none. The piercer never apologized and acted as if there was nothing wrong with what happened. They changed my bar to a longer one. Thats it. I asked them the following: What is this? Is this normal? Should I take it out? Simple questions I thought Id find answers to at a PIERCING shop.Ive spent the last hour looking up what to do bc now its been a month later since my second visit and it has gotten WORSE. Also, since looking up the proper way to get your philtrum pierced, Ive realized the significant difference between other places and here.Save your money and time go to Evolved.Ive had the medusa piercing done their a couple yes ago and never had difficulties with their work.

Went yesterday and got my ears pierced by Christine. She and the rest of the staff were extremely kind and patient and took the time to answer all our questions. When Christine was marking my ears, she took the time to redo it when it didnt look right. Highly recommend.

Very rude receptionist (dark hair on the heavy side) after bringing in my 10 year old and 15 year old to get ears pierced. Definitely a different vibe than what it was at the old location when you first started. Employees like this can really hurt your business.To Pat the owner. I told her to tell you hi but she told me she’s not your schedulist and has no idea where you are or what you do. Anyways hi! Miss you both.

The wait wasn’t too bad for a walk in, Nick Strange is an excellent I mean excellent 150%, he took care of me and performed my piercings was extremely gentle and very knowledgeable, I do have to say it might be pricey, but if you want quality and cleanliness, this is the way to go personally after experiencing a bad double infected ears from piercings, I much rather pay for a safe and sterile environment and procedure than go the inexpensive way, I went elsewhere for two piercings and got such a bad infection that I will not recommend the other place (stinging ink) , I am very happy with the quality and service I received that I would def recommend going to Piercology. One of the receptionists was extremely rude when asking about Jewelry. Didnt show us the whole variety of what was available. When signing in for a time slot to check out jewelry we put in for a jewelry change and to look at jewelry. She said that we had to wait 15 minutes, we happily did, but when we went back inside and looked at the jewelry and we were ready for the jewelry change they then told us that we had to be put on another waiting list for an additional 30 minutes even though thats we initially had waited for in the first place. Highly disappointed in the customer service aspect of this association. Jewelry is good quality but the associate that we had dealt with was not for this company.

I wanted an impromptu ear piercing and was able to get in with these guys immediately. Having only ever been to mall-style piercing places I was confronted with a little “sticker shock” but decided to get pierced anyway. I was not disappointed by anything from the warm greeting, the careful and detailed explanation of the procedure, and the friendly and quick ethic of the piercer—Nick. Really disappointed with my service (or lack thereof) on my visit. I’ve been to Piercology about a half dozen times before they changed hands and this was my first time going since they’ve been under new management. I made an appointment online about 10 days before I was able to actually get in for my piercing. The day of, I was running late so I gave them a call let them know which they said was fine since it was a “slow day.” Upon getting there 10 minutes later, they told me that my piercer had actually left about 30 minutes prior for a family emergency. Why they couldn’t have told me that on the phone before I drove over there, I’m not sure. They then tried to get me to get three piercings as a temporary substitute for the one I wanted instead of just waiting for the piercer to come back and get the piercing for which I’d made the appointment. Beyond that, the woman behind the counter told me that the price of the piercing and jewelry for which I made the appointment was actually going to be $25 more than what it’s priced at on their website. Why not advertise the actual price of the piercing/jewelry instead of misleading people? It felt like they were trying to sell the jewelry and not actually work with me to get the piercing I wanted. I felt like neither me nor my time was respected and I walked out without a piercing, without a new appointment, and without any resolution whatsoever. As I said, I’ve only ever gotten my piercings done at Piercology when I’m in Columbus but after this experience Im not planning on returning.

While some may think they are a little pricey, it’s well worth it. The jewelry & the customer service are worth the price you pay!!!

I called in to see how much a nipple repair would be. One of my rings fell out and it had been a few days and the piercing was starting to close. I was quoted $30 otp with a $5 sanitation fee. I went in and decided to buy both rings so they would match. She sanitized both rings but I did advise I could put my right side in by myself but she stated the piercer could do it with no problem. For both rings & the install the total came up to $69.50. I do feel like that’s expensive especially since they were just basic rings & that’s almost how much I paid when I originally got them done. But overall a good experience but their prices are kinda expensive.

I am super grateful for Christine at Piercology. She was kind, efficient, patient, and used sterile and quick technique. I cannot believe how little pain I experienced. I hugged her I was so happy, and asked if that was really it?! It was an awesome experience and I absolutely recommend Christine and Piercology. I got my first piercing done at Piercology in 2000 and I dont go anywhere else for piercings or jewelry. Ive had people talk about the prices of the jewelry at the shop being too high but I am quick to dismiss an individual who wants piercings, jewelry, and/or tattoos to be cheap. Personally, I dont bargain shop for body modifications. Im altering, at the very least, my skin so Im more concerned about the quality of the product and service I receive, which had always been impeccable at PiercologyThe entire staff is responsible, knowledgeable, and professional and the service they provide reflects that. Dylan is an amazing person and piercer. I highly recommend this shop.

Christine was my piercer and she did an AMAZING job! All of the staff members I interacted with were all very kind and professional. It was very obvious that they knew what they were doing. Ive been pierced twice here and I highly recommend it to anybody looking for great quality, great people, and cleanliness!

Overall I think Piercology is a good, professional place. However, I do think that sometimes the staff can be a bit pushy. I’ve gotten plenty of piercings from them before, and they have all healed rather well, except for this most recent time. Could be a mistake on my part, but I’m a veteran when it comes to tattoos and piercings. I have a deviated septum, so when I got my septum pierced, it’s slightly crooked. It’s really only something I notice, and you can only tell if you’re staring at me. Also I’m a bit hard of hearing, and when I said that I was when a staff member tried to get my attention and I didn’t respond (because I didn’t hear), they replied with “well, I don’t like being loud, but if you want me to I can.” And while this isn’t a bad statement, it kind of embarrassed me. You don’t have to necessarily be louder for someone who is hard of hearing. A simple smile and wave at my direction and I would have probably noticed. Also my piercer was slightly condescending to me. I also got my double helix redone and it swelled really badly and tried to eat the bar. I probably should have mentioned I swell really badly, that way I could have had, off the bat, much bigger bars and would have had to save the uncomfortableness of having the old bars taken out. However, they did it for free. And gave me my aftercare cleaning supplies for free, as it was my birthday. Overall, I recommend them! Like any place, it’s hit or miss, but I think the staff is usually friendly. I think that Piercology does actively strive (and succeeds) with good customer service. I’m also impressed with how they sanitize the jewelry before they put it into your piercings. I’ve never had a piercing place do that before. I can agree with the reviews that say that there’s not much in terms of jewelry variety, but it’s good starter jewelry. You can always start with something from them and when you want to buy a different piece elsewhere. That way you’re still getting your piercing, still giving them business, and still getting what you want.

This is a complicated review , the staff at this shop are the coolest and kindest people Ive met in a shop but the piercings Ive got here have been kinda bad. I first went for double nostril piercings and they were very crooked but they told me they could take it out and after it heals they will fix it for free and they did so now my lower nostril piercings are fine. I then came back for high nostril piercings and it was the same situation one was uneven so they took it out and said they would fix it for free so I came back and got it redone . The problem now is although the placement was perfect the piercing was pierced at such a crooked angle it tore my skin once the swelling happened and I had to take it out due to the pain. So this is a great shop to go to for simple piercings but not symmetrical or difficult piercings .

Tonight was my second time coming here and they have been great both times! Definitely recommend, super clean. Super friendly. Dylan was great super fast but also thorough! Wont be going anywhere else for a piercing!

Love this place. Ive been going there for 8 years and have gotten 7 piercings from there. Ive never had a bad experience and its the only place Ill go to get new ones done :)Very professional, informative, and caring towards clients.(My front lobe piercings are crooked and they were done elsewhere, which is one of the reasons why Im so particular about not going anywhere else.)

As always, our experience at Piercology was great. The store was clean, with Covid precautions in place. All the staff in the front were very friendly. The gentleman that pierced my daughters earlobes was great. She was nervous and he made her feel at ease every step of the way. I would highly recommend Piercology for kids earlobe piercing. * The second picture, without the mask, was after we got home.

Dylan did an amazing job on my daith piercing and the restoration of my tongue piercing from 12 years ago. Excellent high end quality jewelry, great selection. I get very anxious, like extremely so: panic attack level. Dylan was very patient & understanding and spoke with me multiple days on what I wanted to have done. He set the proper expectations on what I wanted to have done. He went over everything with me and made sure I thoroughly understood. Once I came in to have it done, he made it as painless as it could have possibly been. He had a wonderful attitude and perfect personality for his line of work. I highly recommend this place (and especially Dylan) as their employees are extremely kind and well trained. Everyone in here was so friendly and nice. I will definitely be back to do the ear project we had talked about.

I have an update on my surface piercing. This morning it completely came out on its own when I was asleep. I found the earring in my hair. The barbell was never bent like I was told it was going to be. Now my skin is in the process of healing itself.

Charged me 8$ for a standard ball to the jewlery i bought there. Might as well just switch to an externally threaded barbell and save some money bc i already lost it a few days later.

Terrible experience, was very disappointed. Went here to get fancier body jewelry for my upcoming wedding to my partner. We are a gay couple. We waited outside (BOTH of us) which was totally fine due to COVID but when we were called in one of the employees asked if my partner was pierced and we answered that he was not, but that we were picking jewelry together for me to wear during OUR wedding, because I care whether he hates what Im wearing or not while he marries me. They kicked him out because he had no piercings. How would you know if he was considering getting one or not? Maybe you couldve discussed what piercings he does want and the prices for said piercings? Surely some of your customers are first timers. Well hes certainly not going to get any from you guys after being kicked out. Also, he waited outside too so he should also get an equal opportunity to shop there. We share finances so he is also a paying customer. What a terrible way to introduce people to body modification. If he didnt know me first I am sure he would think that piercing enthusiasts are all a bunch of gatekeeping snobs. After they kicked him out I looked over to my right and theres this big group of people that was allowed in all at once (almost completely taking up the capacity limit) and hasnt had anyone removed from the store. One of them was helping the another one pick out jewelry which is exactly what he was there to do. We felt very discriminated against.The selection is tiny and very plain. I was looking for a septum ring and a set of hanger gauges. The septum rings were very basic, not very interesting looking and very overpriced. They all kinda looked the same. There were only three real options and the rest were just slight variations of those styles. My ears are stretched to one of the most common sizes and they didnt even have ten pairs of plugs in the entire store I could wear, and zero hangers in 1/2 sizes.The building was very very old and run-down looking. Normally this wouldnt be an issue for me as I get that not every venue is going to be brand new and top notch, but if youre going to be advertising yourself as the best and highest of quality, that needs to apply to the entire store, not just the product. The customer is paying for the entire retail experience which includes the venue. Its hard to believe that this business is making at least $100 per customer and yet it cant afford basic upkeep/upgrades to the building? Your building is the first thing people see of your business and first impressions matter. But thats a nitpick, I guess.I must say though, the one employee I had helping me was very good to me. She was patient and understanding of me having to look quite closely at the jewelry as I am legally blind, and even got some out of the cases for me so I could see what was available clearly. She did not make me feel embarrassed like I often do. However, it unfortunately did not make up for the overall experience and I wont be returning, EVER.I really wanted this place to be good. I was very excited to do this all week but it ended up being a horrible experience. Went somewhere else and got exactly what I wanted AND we were treated better. It was very fun to pick out The One(s) together and I feel confident I will look stunning at the altar. So glad I didnt settle.A note to the owner: The way you reply to other negative reviews is very rude and unprofessional. You are a business owner (and so am I, with hundreds of five star reviews and ZERO negative ones so I think I know a thing or two about this). Represent your business in a positive and humble way. Absolutely disgraceful how you blame your customers and make excuses when they have a problem. That is NOT how to represent a business. It doesnt matter who you think is right or who you think is to blame, you need to take responsibility for the experience your customers have or at least try to resolve it POLITELY. You are the only common denominator. I was not even going to leave this review until I saw that behavior.

I would have gave them five stars but youre not able to wait in the lobby anymore and also because they are a bit overpriced compared to other places. Other than that they are a good clean and knowledgeable and do good work their customer service for the most part is good too. I know that a lot of places have different guidelines concerning covid-19 but its a little too cold outside to wait your turn. I would suggest to make an appointment so that youre not waiting outside in the cold to get your piercing done.

Im extremely put off by my daughters recent experience with a particular piercer there. Im the one who told her to go there, which makes me feel worse. But i had a great experience as did my family members who have gone to Piercology over the years. My daughter & niece went together. Im not sure if this piercer isnt used to working with diverse types of people or what, but evidently after piercing my daughters nose, she waited outside (due to covid) while he pierced my niece. While piercing my niece, He made rude comments about the size of my daughters nose and expressed his gratitude to my niece for having a button nose. Yes black people do have broader noses. Youd think someone who brags about being in the game for 30 years has worked with all types. Evidently not. He felt compelled to bash 1 clients features behind her back to another client. To me this is beyond unprofessional. Ive recomended Piercology dozens of times over the years to people. Never again. Its been a few years since ive been. I was shocked and disgusted. Educate your staff Piercology! 1 bad experience can ruin your reputation! This was my daughters 1st piercing. Thanks for the memory!!

The Front Desk staff were professional and extremely friendly. I appreciate the way the after care process was explained before my piercing. My Piercer was Nick,once in the procedure he explained the entire process,he was careful with the sanitation process. I was impressed how Nick prepared the area to be pierced, he let me know when he was prepared to start the piercing and when to breathe in and out. Nick was definitely careful in cleaning the piercing after the procedure and explained the after care again. I will certainly recommend Piercology to my friends. Thank you for a great experience.

Cannot recommend Piercology highly enough! I’ve gotten 7 piercings with them, and they’ve all healed very well without infections/issues. I’m not really one to leave reviews, but after my last interaction with them I felt like I needed to. One of my piercings needed a shorter post after the healing finished up, and normally I would have just gone into the shop to have them change it out. However, I moved to North Carolina last year so I had to order one online. I had no idea what gauge or length I needed so I called them to ask for general advice, they were able to look up my profile and find the piercing I was talking about to tell me the gauge they used and the next post length to switch to. It was very unexpected but so nice!

Whole Piercology experience was wonderful. I’m a tattoo artist and so cleanliness is the #1 thing I look for when choosing a piercing studio. Every measure possible was also taken regarding covid, which I really appreciated. Great explanations of everything about jewelry, aftercare, and healing process. Great experience over all, from making the appointment on the phone through the piercing process. I’m a nurse practitioner so I know clean, lol and they were super clean. She was amazing and I can’t wait to get my next piercing with them.

A great place to go for body piercings. The staff at the sales counter are friendly and helpfull, they make sure you understand the process and will get you the proper jewelry to fit your needs as well as what you need to care for your new piercings during the healing time.. The person who did my piercing was Christine and she was great, professional and very good at her job. I 100% recommend this spot for your needs. A little more expensive than other places, but you get what you pay for and Piercology use the best jewelry and its staff know what theyre doing. Trust me, its better to get your work from experts and not use a tattoo shop that is cheap but not qualified to do the work as I once did. I will be back for all my piercing needs in the future. Also, they have a great 2 for 1 certain days that is a great deal (note that this special is not being offered during the Covid-19 outbreak to keep in store traffic limited for safety reasons)

Want a great experience getting pierced, this is your place. I called from out of state, and had several questions about a few of my older piercings and, she answered all of them. We did have to wait but, they are limiting the amount of people in the building due to covid-19. This was not a huge deal as it was a beautiful day and, they had a porch we could sit on. After picking out my jewelry (they have so many great pieces to choose from) I went back to one of the piercing rooms and, everything was explained well, the procedures in place to keep everything clean and sterile were great. I will mention they were doing these procedures before Covid so, I really wasnt concerned in that area anyway. I had my jewelry installed and was on my way. I really appreciate the professionalism of the staff and the high standards that they apply. Thank you for a great all around experience!

REQUEST DYLAN!!!!!! I have been in and out of this shop so many times and Im always walking out happy with the results. Friendly staff and great prices in my opinion. Tuesdays and Thursdays are buy 1 get 1 free piercings (you still have to pay for jewelry) so try to go on those days. Dylans work is amazing and hes extremely gentle and patient. I will request him every time I go!!

I got my nostril pierced there today and I LOVE it. All the staff I ran into were super friendly and helpful.

Their workers were really friendly and talked me through the whole process. They made sure everything was sanitized, sterilized and in my view for reassurance. It was a great visit there, and my piercing isnt giving me problems either.

Very professional and up to code on safety and sterility standards. I wont take my daughter anywhere else. She got her ears pierced at the mall against my wishes and the got infected. I took her to Piercology once they were healed and she didnt have any problems (of course!). They have an amazing selection of jewelry too!
