Sean was very down to earth, transparent and straightforward which is something I love when doing business. It had been a while since I last visit a car dealership. Surprisingly the trip to Bob Caldwell Was refreshing to say the least. Everyone was very professional courteous and attentive to our needs. This was my daughters first time ever buying a car, they had the Vehicle that she wanted and the sales rep made us feel right at home ( Sean McCoy), he made it happen. She was able to drive off in her dream car the same day!I guess a lot has changed because the whole process from start to finish didn’t take long at all.No haggling. They worked with us all the way.We will be going back because my youngest daughter is getting her license soon and she said she know exactly where she want to go!Im inclined to agree. I just want to start off by saying I loved my sales rep, Jen! As a resent college graduate making my first “big girl purchase” she made my experience wonderful.I bought a used 2018 Honda Accord, a little less than 30 days ago. With that being said, this car has given me more problems in the first month then my first car that only cost $3,000.Bad battery, my horn doesn’t work (HUGE safety problem) & also 2 tires need new sensors. & After bringing this to the dealership attention. I am getting 0 help to fix these problems. Therefore, before even making my first car payment… I have to spend 500+ to get this vehicle fixed. I am very disappointed.

My low tire pressure light kept coming on for one of my tires and checked to find out that there was a nail in my tire. I called the service department and they said to come right in and should be able to fix it within a short window. They were able to remove the nail and plug my tire within a short time and I was able to drive smoothly. I appreciate their great customer service and getting my Jeep situated so I can go about my day without any concerns! Would greatly recommend them!

I called at the last minute for an oil change late in the evening. Charlie who answered said if I could get there by 8:00pm they could do it.I arrived. Charlie was gone but the service staff was expecting me. Within minutes I was checked in and the said it would be about 45 minutes. I went to grab a quick sandwich across the street. By the time I was back my Jeep Gladiator was sitting out front (only about 30 minutes).AWESOME SERVICE BOB CALDWELL. ALSO BIG THANKS TO THE SERVICE PERSON WHO HANDLED MY OIL CHANGE. When we bought our first Jeep at Bob Caldwell, we were extremely pleased with our service, second to none. We just traded that Jeep in towards another Jeep, and our experience was even better than our first time at the dealership. Tucker Detweiler was our salesman, he was an absolute class act, treated us more like friends than just a customer. Terrible.I took my 2018 Pacifica in for factory authorized repair in January 2020, specifically for paint corrosion in accordance with a factory TSB 31-001-18, which addresses the proper and factory authorized method of Aluminum Body Panel Corrosion Repair.. I did not receive my vehicle back until March of 2020.The work was performed poorly. So much so, that the repair failed within 9 months.When I returned in January 2021, Justin tried to deny responsibility for the workmanship, even though the vehicle was still under the 3/36 warranty. I got Chrysler Cares involved, and the hood was once again refinished. However this refinishing was done so poorly, there were blatant defects and dirt in the paint to the point it actually looked like someone threw sand on the paint while wet. Further, the vehicle was not reassembled correctly or completely, to which Justin further denied responsibility of.During all of the above, Justin further tried to deny providing a loaner vehicle to my family. Not only was this incorrect, it was simply insulting. My vehicle was in the shop for over 65 days, and Justin stated to me that we dont provide loaners for warranty work.After bringing the poor workmanship of the repaired repair to Justins attention, he further denied responsibility, stating hes done all he can do and it is not his responsibility to return the vehicle to factory condition. This sounds preposterous, you say? Well, Ive got it in writing.After this - I got the BBB involved on March 22, 2021. Seemed that got his attention, because while he continued to be a passive aggressive and condescending individual towards me, actions started to happen, albeit it very slowly.A replacement hood was ordered, as it should have been per the factory TSB in January 2020.When the repaired repair repair was finished, it was once again incompletely finished, missing federal emissions equipment. When this was brought to Justins attention, yup, you guessed it, he once again denied responsibility.My family has been patrons of Bob Caldwell since 1990, with the purchase of a 1991 Plymouth Voyager. Myself, since 1992, with the purchase of a 1992 Sundance. We have been a Chrysler family since the AMC days. For 30 years, Ive owned and driven a Chrysler product. Such a shame that single-handily, Justin can erode any and all confidence in not only a dealership, but a brand as a whole.Why in the world would I consider a Chrysler product, knowing I cannot get it serviced correctly, and furthermore, why would I come back to Bob Caldwell after this service experience?My vehicle was in the shop for over 65 days for a simple factory authorized warranty repair. Justin fought ownership of the repair each and every step of the way. If it were not for the BBB, I would have had to pursue legal action.The work was only finished correctly and completely on May 12, 2021; to which Justin further refused to provide any paperwork on to document the work. I suppose this is because if it fails again, he wants plausible deniability. Too bad I have the paperwork from Chrysler Cares, so his little dishonest game does not work.Such as shame. Over 30 years of patronage, and this is how a customer is treated. Stated more accurately, this is how a FORMER customer is treated.EDIT: Since Justin is continuing to call me a liar, by stating I never brought my vehicle to his dealership for service...Im attaching a copy of my invoice. Would you like me to also post other service records or purchase records from me and my family?Of interesting note, the header of the invoice states which dealership, again?

I was able to get a new master switch for my window control in just moments at Bob Caldwells! I tried to contact a few local auto repair shops and their quotes were really high and it wouldve taken days to get to my vehicle. That wouldve left me with my driver window down for days. Bob Caldwells was quick and easy. I popped out the old part and put the new one in in just minutes. They also got me right in to program my new key fob same day service! Ill definitely be back!

This dealership came through for us quickly when we need to move on buying a Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. Wed been looking for weeks, and these vans are in short supply. We got lucky when we found one with exactly the options and color we would have built ourselves, in stock here! The dealership held the van until we could get to Columbus from Dayton later that day, got us on our way for a test drive quickly, and then processed our sale and our trade-in quickly. They stayed late that day making sure everything was to our liking and made it easy -- they even found us a lower interest rate than wed found at our own bank, and I didnt think that could be done! We are very happy with the service we received, and the van is cool too :)Joshua Shepherd was our sales rep, he took great care of us and did a great job of following up. Id recommend Joshua and this dealership to anyone near Columbus.

However, I continued to hear rear brake noise over last couple of days despite reassurance that noise was probably from sitting for long periods. Turns out I have to have new rotors and pads on back. Overpriced for semi synthetic oil change. Wouldn’t accept my coupon that I brought in and didn’t offer any other discount. Will never visit this dealership again for any services. I do not recommend. Lady at checkout didn’t know what she was doing and looked confused. Sean McCoy Should not be in the field of salesman! He’s a liar and conniving son of a u know what! He never did nothing he said he was after he took my money. The Jeep was priced 21,000.00 I received my balance in the mail and it says 22,000.00 Is my remaining balance after I’ve already given them $15,000.00 for a $21,000.00 vehicle that was priced on their lot. Sean changed figures so he could get that sale for the day! Electrical issues are hard to find and diagnose correctly. The faulty switch causing issues with my car was found quickly and replaced successfully as a result of the first visit. No need for a second repair or review. Very nice!

Really disappointed in my experience here. I had a previous bad experience with an oil change that ended with me stranded in a smoking car near my home so I hand picked and drove 30 minutes with my toddler to this dealership. Charlie helped me the whole time and HE was really great, 5 stars for just him. My oil change took an hour and a half from appointment time. When I got my car back, the inside door handle and fluffy steering wheel cover were covered in sticky greasy oil. Nasty. The car smelled awful. A mile down the road and my car was smoking, I had to pull over. This was caused again by sloppy, careless work as had happened at the previous place. They fixed it up and apologized which is great but a three hour oil change with a 1 year old in tow and a million errands to run on top of sloppy workmanship is enough to not have me return here again.

Usually I have a decent experience with Bob Caldwell. This past time in was a circus. I went to drop it off but found out they don’t give loaners out immediately anymore. Something I asked about over the phone and was told would be available. So I had to reschedule once I found a ride. Once I was able to drop it off they promised me continuously that I would get my vehicle back on a certain date and then pushed it back multiple times with no explanation. Dropped it off on a Friday, diagnosed on Monday, told I’d get it back Wednesday, then told I’d get it back Thursday or Friday, then Friday was told I’d get it back sometime the following week. Finally reached out to the service manager to get some information. My truck sat in their parking lot for over a week even though the original promise was I’d get it back much sooner. My advisor Charlie hardly relayed information to me. I had to initiate contact everyday to get any answers. Things moved better once the service manager was involved. 10 days later finally got my truck and the repair took 1 day. Was told they had a lack of qualified technicians to make the repair which wasn’t brought to my attention until I started prying for answers a week into this ordeal.

The sales process is typical where first sales person turns buyer over to a manager who actually makes the deal, not my favorite approach. But the process turned out ok as we were able to come to agreement.

Pain to deal with,won’t go back! The extended hours are nice but not worth the headaches I dealt with at Bob Caldwell Dealership asked for photo documentation to process warranty provided photos and had they had my vehicle for 24 hours only to be told they could not replicate…Called Ram opened up a claim and were able to get my headlight replaced at Performance Dodge!

Had a great experience here today, Jon was SUPER helpful and very patient with us and answered all the questions we had. He didnt push anything on us and asked us what we were looking for and he and his manager worked with what we said we were looking for and we were able to leave with a BEAUTIFUL purple 2021 Dodge Charger, our dream car, that they were able to find monthly pricing for us within our budget!! Everyone there was very friendly and accommodating I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great car at a great price!!!
