Sunrise has moved across the road to the old Fresh Market location. They have 10 times the space and have expanded product selections. Still have live fish, fresh meat counter, fresh veg, but much more frozen, a bakery and a carryout with roast duck. Best grocery near UA.

I really love all the options here and made me very interested to try new things I will most definitely be doing some research to go back and get the things that peaked my interests. Moderate prices. Friendly and insightful staff.

Stopped because I saw the bakery sign. Had to get dessert for a dinner. Picked up several different sweets. I was not disappointed. I live in Cleveland but when I come back to visit I am stopping again.

I have been shopping at this store for many years. It used to be good, but recently, I have some bad experiences after it moved to the new location:Some rotten vegetables were wrapped and sold. The cashiers were not friendly at all (maybe friendly to some certain customers). The meat and seafood dept. smell bad.The owner used to be here and was very helpful when there was a waiting line at registers. Now it seems that nobody cares about the customers.Just hope the owner can make some management changes and hope the tore will be back to normal.

The place is neat and well organized, I was surprised to see a noodle station in the middle of the store and me and my hubby enjoyed eating there, I ordered their signature pho soup, and my hubby ordered egg yolk bun and it was delicious!The pricing is fair and the service was amazing, staff are very friendly and patient, I say that because while we are waiting for our order there was one lady who is so picky about food that she wants something that is healthy for her and she questions if the food there is healthy and wanted certain ingredient on the food instead of looking at the menu on the screen lol... but the staff gladly explained and finally took her order (no joke lady was asking for almost 30 mins)I am excited to go back to try some of their dumplings, I just wish they have a bobba milk tea selection for drinks but for now they only offer hot tea which is I am curious to try next time!By the way if you are craving for Balot, its best to buy it from here!

Awesome place to get a variety of Asian groceries. Large meat and fish department to get various types as well as more harder to find stuff. They also sell Peking duck here fresh and is excellent. What gives this place a unique edge over the competition is that I’ve found unique snacks and drinks that aren’t sold at the other places. Definitely worth a visit if you already shop at these types of markets.

Beautiful market, amazing pho restaurant nestled right in the middle with ample seating for many. I tried the duck buns, beef pho and egg buns and was absolutely amazed. So very perfect.

Its clean. The hot bar has great fresh prepared foods. The organization in the grocery aisles seems to be improving as a work in progress since reopening. Much improved fresh vegetable and green selection.

Found this wonderful Asian market while visiting family in Columbus. I could NOT pass up $3.99 spicy noodles!! As my local Asian market in Dallas is pricing the 5 pack of noodles for $7.99, no brainer right. The location is in a run-down shopping center but dont let that fool you, dont miss out on finding some amazing things here to try out. Will definitely be back!

You cant beat the fish and meat selection and prices. However, unless you look to be the same race as the staff, dont expect to be treated with any sort of respect. There is no customer service here. But I still shop here even though they treat me like Im invisible because I have every right to.

Well organized and fresh food with plenty of variety from most parts of Asia. Largely caters to ethnic Chinese cuisine, with a cooked meats stand inside - featuring roast duck!

Inquired about ordering 2 cases of product and was told it wasnt a problem and will be contacted after leaving number. No response until I went back in after 4 days. Was told shipment will be in on Friday and come back Saturday to make sure it was unloaded. Stopped in sat and none was delivered. Only got a sorry. Horrible communication and service and not honest of what they have.

First trip today. They had the one thing I couldnt find at three other stops. The place is huge and the people are friendly. Ill be going there regularly from now on.

I think this markets sister store on the west side has a much better produce selection.

Great place with lots of hard to find asian foods

The new sunrise (across the street from the old location) is bigger and better in every way! Huge selection in a large, clean store. There’s a small bakery that also serves bubble tea, and a DELICIOUS noodle restaurant in the center!

Tensuke is a staple market for my household. their items are occasionally a little expensive, but its always good, and worth paying for. the workers are nice, and everything still seems well taken care of, pandemic wise, which is nice as well.

Check out the butcher area. They have the best Roast Duck, Roast Chicken and BBQ Pork ever!

Very cool to see they moved to a bigger space - but the aisles are not clearly labeled and items are not arranged/sectioned by cuisine areas. It just takes some getting used to, but overall it is pretty good and they have good selections of items - including some hot food items.

Clean store. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Tons of beans and canned goods. Natural spices, teas. Everything Asian you could ever want!

Nice and very clean asian Market. Unlike many others in the area this one carries many flavors of soju and rice wines. Fish and meat market have very little odor. Noodle shop /counter in the center had just OK bao. It looked to me that the rice rolls were star of the show there.

Not a big store like Saraga. Meat area is small. Entire store itself is very congested. Fish price is very less and fresh compared to other places. They also dont cut fishes properly and cleaning is also not proper. Couldnt find rice and few important items as it is not an international grocery store. May go again just for fish.

I was really impressed with the quality selection in the store. I came in by referral to order cooked Hong Kong duck. I went ahead and grabbed a few other essentiels and vegetables. tonights dinner was awesome their duck is the best. by all means you have to go try it out!

Found live bugs live inside the food they sell, I also found out they are sellingexpired food or food with no expire date. Plus Dirty, dark environment and unfriendly customer service.

Big selection, they even have a couple of aisles of Hispanic products. Checkout was painfully slow.

I purchased groceries for 205, they charged me me 2205..... She was incredibly rude. I understand being hung over but do your damn job. If you hate it that bad, get a different one. She toss my groceries into the bag, keep on stopping and zoning out. What is up with kids and drugs now a days?? Oh yes. She didnt apologized at all and giggled. Such a funny joke.... Then she wondered why my card decline........ Ive never been this livid. She could have at least been polite.

One of the Asian grocery market in Columbus. Store moved across street to 1920 West Henderson Road. A bigger and brighter space and much more selections and services.

Surprised me with things from time to time. Im not sure if its just me, but I feel as though things on the weekends are more fresh. Like their pork blood. I was shocked they had small pork intestines. Not the large intestines, but the small curly ones. Just dont grt their baked goods. They are gross. They come from some random person baking it in their house... I feel like a lot of places do things like that... Trying to use the cottage law to sell through markets. Could be cleaner, but hey, its an Asian supermarket, Ive yet to find one super clean in America. Only in developed Asian countries have I seen super clean markets.

A few months ago, I purchase sliced meats here, and found a chuck of tendon that needed thrown away hiding under my sliced meats. Super disappointed. Most of the food they dont label it and enter the price as they wish. I bought exactly the same food many times with random price and today I found it increased from $12 to $16. Be careful of those non-labeled items.

Sometimes long wait to checkout since theres only 3 open cashiers at the most. Deli/butcher area have the best Scallion Chicken and Cuttlefish! Must try it out. Duck is pretty good too.

The staff is amazing

Though I didnt thoroughly peruse the offerings of this market it seemed to have a decent offering of Chinese and Thai products. However, it was grimy and somewhat oderous. There was no sanitizer or wipes, and it was pretty clear noone was tracking used carts or baskets. Yuk.

This place is jam packed. Its got most of what I want but their selection is limited because of the stores size. The instant noodle soup selection is pretty decent. They do have great bbq pork and roast pork! Full of flavor! Definitely worth the visit just for that.

Not the cleanest asian market but for one that has a seafood and meat counter, it is good. Cheap buys for whatever I need and lots of varieties.

I used to love shopping here untill today. My 2 year old baby dropped a tomato sauce jar by mistake while she was in the shopping cart and waving her hands. At the checkout i told them in order to let someone collect it so it cannot hurt anyone, and they said i have to pay for it!!! Never in my life i paid for something that i broke by mistake. This happened few times in different stores like Kroger, Target, Pier 1, and the first thing they always say :Are you okay?, and they ask me to continue shopping normally as nothing happen. By what i can say, in this store you can expect anything. They are very rude always.

This small Asian grocery store is nestled in the shopping center on the south west corner of Reed and Henderson Roads. I really wanted to rate it higher than 3 stars however two significant issues prevented that. First the positive; good location which is easy to access, great selection of traditionally Asian grocery items including fresh produce, canned items, frozen, and meat. Now the critical; the store does not appear clean, shelves are very cluttered and that makes it difficult to find specific items, the staff are not very friendly. If the critical items do not bother you then shopping here is fine.

Best place Chinese and Southeast Asian groceries. Live fish, shrimp and chinese meat are fresh and without any artificial preservatives. They have the most authentic banana in the nearby Columbus shops.

Very helpful, showed me frozen lemongrass, that makes it a lot easier to use in recipes.

An authentic Asian market with great prices.Yes, it smells like fish, and yes it can get congested in here. However, Sunrise is jam-packed with all kinds of great deals-- including everything you need for your Asian pantry and lots of fresh meats and vegetables.

A great little asian market. Sunrise Asian market isnt huge (yet) but its got nearly everything we need for asian cooking. Good produce, good dry/canned goods and a solid freezer stocked with all sorts of dumplings/sesame balls/etc. But the best part by far is their prepared meats, particularly the roast pork and char siu. The first time we got some we werent sure what to expect, but man, their meats are way better than Sam Woo BBQ or the like. We toss the roast pork in the oven for a few minutes before serving and its simply awesome.

I love the election of various Asian foods and teas. The powdered matcha and green tea with ginger has a slight ginger bite. There are some mushrooms you cant really get at standard grocery stores. There are frozen meats and hot pot fixings. Credit cards are accepted here.

The very fishiest smelling Asian store Ive ever been in. Stopped in for tofu cause my usual store is closed. Their selection is poor.Didnt have what I wanted so I picked something close.There was a hole somewhere in the packaging cause the next day it started to grow mold.

Not nicely decorated but could be its strategy to keep it competitive, stocked quite a good variety of daily used asian (especially Chinese) groceries but need to be patient on the typically long lineup at checkout. I like its roast duck at the (easily missed) innermost counter next to the raw meat section.

Theyve got fantastic BBQ pork, roasted duck, and chicken for ordering, and some nice frozen dumplings from New York. Butchers at the food counter are nice and friendly. However, the girl at the cashier needs to have her attitude fixed. Its worse then she simply doesnt like her job. There are multiple strong competing Asian supermarkets in Columbus, and they definitely have the best cooked food among them, but its just hard to ignore that girls attitude.

We rented an Airbnb and are staying in Columbus Ohio for a couple of days to celebrate one of our great friends getting married! We come by the supermarket and decided that we were going to eat Asian all weekend. This Supermarket is absolutely amazing

Cashier was very rude, didnt even look at us during the transaction, but was extremely friendly to the next customer and the customer previous. Im pretty sure it was because we werent Asian. Aisles were crowded with product on the floor. Also noticed that one of their cold cases thermometer read 72 degrees even though it contained temperature sensitive items which should be held below 41 degrees. Definitely do not recommend. Cant wait for CAM to reopen.

Solid Asian grocery store. Good selection, reasonable prices. They give a discount to OSU students, which is very nice.The checkout can get a bit backed up at busy times, and they rarely have more than one register open. Make sure you have cash if your purchase is less than 5 dollars.

Im sure its great if you read Chinese. If they want more Americans, translations into English would be helpful.

Food selection is good. Store is reasonably clean. The cashier indeed is not very friendly, like others have said. She did not greet me or even look at me once. Then I said Hi and she finally looked up and replied Huh?, lol. Maybe shes not used to the US customs? The store should definitely train their employees better.

Not a big grocery store, but you could find almost everything you will need from an Asian grocery. RAW: fish, poultry, beef, fresh vegetables, herbs, rice and noodles... COOKED: roast BBQ pork, roast pork, roast duck and soy chicken, ... and many more

Used to be my go-to place for Chinese grocery when I lived nearby. Yes, it is small and smells pretty bad because they have lived fish and crabs. But the selection of produce and Chinese groceries are very good.

The butcher has such a great attitude that you cant believe it. He will tell you NO if you try to select the slice of meat. Wow! Never heard of!

When shopping at a asian market, dont expect customer service. I am Asian and its pretty sad for me to say. Very little English are spoken. Most of the time, its broken English, limited Thank you, sorry, no explanation. You get what you can communicate to them if they will understand. I love Asian food and will continue to shop here but it would be nice for the Asian people to step up!

Lots of options for Asian food. But the checkout counter and checkout lane could be more better. It is very unmanaged in weekends/rush hours.

The butcher shop is filthy. They clean the area with water and let it run down an open drain with standing water. Breeding place for germs galore. They make food for sale on the shelves right behind the butcher area. Most orientals may be okay with what they do here. Never going to step into this place again. Surprised how they got certified by local authorities. The girl behind the counter pretended she didnt know English. Clearly she goes to school here. Shame on this establishment for running a business with callous attitude and recklessness towards maintaining a healthy, safe and friendly environment.NOT against all oriental shops since I shop at other good ones in Columbus and Dublin...

They have the best kimchi in town. Prices are generally reasonable. Also, they have the BEST kimchi in town. The BEST.

Excellent grocery store. Caters to oriental foods as a whole rather than one particular nationality. I was almost sad they didnt have kimchi, but not only did they have the standard brand, they had store made fresh kimchi. They also sell the popular seaweed salad (that is always overpriced in restaurants) in small and bulk portions. Also they sell the small golden mangoes that I adore singly or in bulk.
