Usually order on line since I do not live close to this store. But occasionally you need to go here and explore. Store is well organized, well stocked and the associates are helpful. prices are lower than the big A in quite a few cases.

Loves blicks art material store. A tremendously vast selection. From doodlers to professional artists and all the dreamers in-between. If its used to make art they have it. Wonderful staff . Friendly environment . A great go to for all your creative endeavors. So enjoy and may your dreams only be shadowed by the vastness of your own imagination.

Blick went above and beyond to make sure I received a FREE tube of paint. My order qualified for a free tube of paint. The paint was missing from the qualifying order shipment. When I contacted Blick, they sent the missing tube of paint by 2 day express. There was a problem with the shipper so that shipment was not received. I contacted Blick again and they sent a second tube of paint 2 day express. It arrived as promised.

Poor online shopping experience. Didnt tell me half of my order, which I needed for school, was on backorder until after I made the purchase. Its been over a month since classes begun, and I am still missing half my order. Now Im getting charged randomly for each item on backorder once it ships. No way of knowing when my card will be charged.

The staff was supremely helpful in directing me to the Supplies that I was looking for. 2 different people came by to ask if they could help, and they both provided excellent input. It was also excellent to see a store that takes COVID seriously, but without making a big deal about it. I would be glad to return any time I need to pick up some supplies again.

Great staff who are very helpful. Have been there a few times and its always a bonus for me if I just want to look around and the staff doesnt follow me. Its great to wander quietly and check out things that give me ideas for future projects.

Absolutely best art store in Ohio!

I love this store but the last time I went, one of the cashiers were staring at me as another cashier was cashing me out. Felt really uncomfortable and felt like I was being judged, but idk my outfit was pretty cute so maybe that’s why she was staring

They have really nice art martial, and they have great cards that are friendly for all types of people. Plus, they have a wide selection of drawing paper. Moreover, they have much of random fun things to look at when you dont know what to do.

Very clean an organized. Went to get some sculpey, various gauged wire spools and some high quality modeling tools. Their clay working section is pretty good. A lot of options for clay and a decent assortment of tools. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, even with me getting into the store about 10 min prior to them closing for the day.

The redesign of the store is so esthetically pleasing. Their selection of products is truly unmatched. I really enjoy shopping here when I can. The mask signs at the front of the store are annoying and extra but thats probably cause somebody walked in and acted a fool so they had to tighten up the rules. Its not the workers fault. I wear a mask and wear it properly so I hate the childhood scolding from stores via step by step directions about HOW to wear them. The people who work there are generally personable and kindly answer your questions as long as they arent too involved. Ive gotten a snicker from employees before when asking a question, and for that, I gave 4 stars.

So I feel like it is a privledge to have an art store locally when most art supplies are online now. I like this store. The workers are helpful. They know art. They are constantly walking around asking if you need help, which is a relief in a world where target employees will avoid eye contact with you if you walk near them and JoAnn employees cannot not be found to save your life. I will be honest, they dont have as a diverse supply brands in store as they used to. I do buy Schmincke individual pans and tubes (watercolor) at Jacksons Art online, because shipping them from overseas is the same cost as buying one of their sets here (blick online only has sets and the storefront does not carry them anymore). There are no such thing as good quality, cheap art supplies, so sure, you could buy online. BUT if you need suggestions, help, knowledge - PLEASE VISIT THIS STORE. There are several definite advantages to buying in store. Their customer service is A+! Employees - thank you!!!!

Kind guy with a mohawk helped us find EVERYTHING we needed. All we did was tell him what we wanted to do and BOOM! It turned out great because we were properly guided and informed. WAY TO GO! if you love creating this is your place.

Prices are a bit high, but you get what you pay for. Blick carries higher end art supplies and is one of the few retailers to do so. I prefer Blick over the craft chains (JoAnns and Michaels) for art products. The staff has always proven friendly and helpful.

You can go to a big box store (you know who I mean), and just hope and pray someone miraculously comes down the isle you are in and offers help. Go to Blicks and get the help you need from artists you can count on.

Blick is my favorite art store. I go in to de-stress. But I will say its pretty pricey so I typically buy what catches my eye online. Cautionary tale, though: I attempted to buy merchandise in store to support the brick and mortar so I can continue to browse in the future and they wouldnt even match the price of their own online website. So I dont BUY from here but I do enjoy browsing when Im on that side of town. Browse in store, buy online.

I love Blick. I can get just about any fine art supplies I need here. For crafty stuff youre better off going to a Joanns, but theres no better place in Columbus for reasonably priced art supplies. They even have a student discount!

The place has a great deal of items that range for arts like drawing, water painting, screen printing, sculpture making, drafting, canvas painting, and so on. If you are looking for something specific or specialized, this is absolutely the place! From a plethora of colored pens for anime to all types of carbon, lead or graphite pencils for live drawing; an array of brush types for watercolor to all types of oils and pastels; drafting straight and t square rulers to straight edges and self-healing mats; easels and frame; newsprint, canvas, cloth, mixed media, sketch, tracing and charcoal papers. Among other media The items are a little bit more expensive than other possible places, such as Walmart or Target, but less so than Hobby lobby, so I would rate it at about $$-$$$.The customer service is generally good and staff are knowledgeable and approachable but they would benefit from providing them with some sort of customer service. Today we went and it really felt the guy was either frustrated and angry, or straight up profiling us, checking us to see if we didnt steal anything.Edit: Just went there again, a week after, and the same guy was there! He made a beeline straight to us as we made ourselves to the mechanical pencils and asked if we needed help. Been given this second opportunity to see if the person was just tired the first time we came in, my wife asked where the carving tools were. He was so dismissive, just said over there and pointed somewhere towards the back of the isle. As we looked to see where he pointed, he was gone. Im betting the supervisor told him he needed to ask people if they need help so just barely completes the task... diligently asking if we need help but not stopping to listen for the answer.Gonna try Hobby Lobby around the corner instead.

Great experience with customer service, excellent variety of art supplies, cool little accessories you never knew you needed. I actually really enjoy the Blick brand art supplies too. They have sales all the time and ordering from them online is also really easy and pretty fast. Best art supplier in Columbus for sure. I have been shopping with them for many years. (Remember the tiny store on Riverside drive?) When I was in school I always found the supplies I needed, the back to school sale is a life saver.

They have a wonderful selection of art and craft items with good selections and value. Love them!

Talk about a nice store! Its the only one in Columbus now that the other shut down. The staff is always helpful. There are always sales going on. The stock is fantastic. Copic pens, Carson and Rhodia paper, paints, canvases and gifts. I love this place. Its rad, man. Check it out.

Its a pretty decent art supply store. You can get almost everything you need here from pencils to brushes to sculpting tools. From sketch pads to canvases. The brands they carry are your usual well known brands as well as a few that Ive never seen. I come and pick up a new watercolour brush or ones for oil paints. Its fun and inspires me to create more.

Awesome awesome art supply shop. They had everything you could want and the staff were beyond exceptional! Took the time to explain details about different products and uses, techniques. I was so impressed by their service. Not only sold art supplies but different canvases, and a gifty area with neat items. Well worth a visit.

Love this place. While it may be a teeny bit cheaper sometimes on Amazon depending on the item, I can test out a lot of stuff here, get what I want immediately instead of waiting two days for shipping, and I dont mind paying an extra dollar to support a local business. Ive also had poor luck buying Bristol board online, which comes damaged in the mail half the time, so I always pick up my paper here. Great selection too.

The staff go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Be sure to look at the exotic papers on the back wall of the store - they are incredibly beautiful. Great prices - be sure to join the club. The mailings always have great deals in them.

They have pretty much everything. Most places are really lacking in pastel selection, but not Blick on Sawmill. Its not THE cheapest, but if you get a Blick card you save quite a bit and it often beats the prices you find on Amazon. The folks that work there are always helpful, too.

This place is like Toys-R-Us for artists

While their prices are higher than what I can get the same supplies for on Amazon, their selection is fantastic, plus I can walk out with what I need the same day. Also, their staff is knowledgeable about all kinds of media and supplies. They give reliable recommendations for what will work in a project. I love the store! -- The merchandising is beautiful and well laid out. Its like walking into a big candy store. The only reason I knock off one star is, I want them to match online competitor pricing. I would buy SO much more there if they would do this, like almost everything.

This is a two fold review. I have always had great help and service when shopping with this company. But after my last experience, I am done. These guys give you a web price and offer to match it. So, if you go to the store to purchase and ask them to match THEIR lower price. They refuse. They state that if you buy it online you have to pay shipping. Which is true. But then why offer to match a lower price? Simple, they dont want people to come into the store. The reason to come to the store is to get it now. And save $5 or more dollars in the process. And we all know sometimes we like to touch our purchase instead of wait. I guess I am just getting cranky in my old age. But this policy stinks. (Fing Sucks)
