I contacted Carolina Honda regarding a replacement blade for a lawnmower I purchased from them. Mark, in the Parts Department, was extremely helpful and professional. He provide sound advice and also offered to leave the part at the desk.After inquiring about installation, Mark referred me to the Service Department where I spoke with Cody. Upon arrival, Cody installed the lawnmower blade as a courtesy.I would highly recommend Carolina Honda. Their customer service and overall appearance is very professional.

Let me tell you, the service department at this place is SECOND TO NONE!! it doesnt matter whether you need $1,000 in repairs or you are in there ordering a 20$ part to install yourself, these people actually take the time with you! (Unlike a local competitor in town whose service dept is a mess!) This place is so good at what they do Ive considered buying a Honda bike just for that reason alone

I brought my Honda mower to Carolina Honda because the self propelled system was having issues. The service advisor figured it was something simple and fixed it for me on the spot! He could have easily billed me for an expensive service and I would have been none the wiser. I’ll definitely be back for general maintenance and any other service needs. Thank you!

Purchased a 2020 Honda Pioneer 1000-3 deluxe in April of 2020. Fast forward, April 2021 paid loan off in full, I have been trying to obtain my title for this vehicle however, DMV was never provided VIN or MSO information even a year after purchase so, unable to obtain title. Called dealership continue to get the run around on where my original MSO is, one said it was sent here another there, etc etc..no one seems to know exactly where its at. Unable to provide me with tracking information as well. Had to open a case through Honda Motor Company as well. Was told by the dealership that if it makes me feel any better, Im not the only one this has happened to this year well actually that does NOT make me feel any better that actually infuriates me even more to know that there is a lack of pride from the people doing their jobs within this dealership...it makes me feel as if this dealership is holding me hostage from something that belongs to ME. Yes, I am aware that I fo not NEED a title in SC however, I as the owner have a RIGHT to my title and that is what I want but, due to Carolina Hobdas lack of work ethics, I am unable to obtain. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT purchase from this place!!! Absolute thieves in my opinion.

Let me start with I absolutely despise going to most dealerships for anything. This place is an exception to that mentality. The sales staff is always very friendly and answers all my questions. They helped my kids get gear that fits the first time. Ive used them for service and they were super fast and even got me going on a Saturday. The owner roams around the shop and is such a nice man. I highly recommend this place for everything Honda.

We must have caught them on a bad day. They insisted we wear masks, but the woman who waited on us didnt wear one. While she did help us find a nice helmet, she seemed like she was annoyed by us, never smiled, and when she left to get us a box for the helmet, never returned. Someone else eventually brought us a box.My wife was there 3 weeks prior, to purchase a recon 4 wheeler for my daughter, and they were SO rude at the door, that she left. I went and purchased one at Aiken powersports the following weekend.My wife had told me about her experience that day, but i didnt realize that it happened at this dealership, or Id have just driven out to Aiken.I got my daughter a very nice helmet.Service was somewhat dissappointing.Prices were about average for this kind of shop.Selection of helmets was much smaller than Ive seen at other dealerships, but what they do have is nice.I was kinda looking forward to looking at bikes, but only saw these huge 4 wheelers, and a few smaller ones with sold tags.

This place is top notch. I am new to riding and was having some difficulties with some of the basics for example how to properly kick over a bike, tie down in the bed of a truck, perform routine maintenance and so forth. Cody went above and beyond to make sure I understood the hows and whys and i hadnt even purchased the bike from them. If I ever need anything done in the future I will not be going anywhere else If youre on two wheels or four you are family here.

Refused to sell me a Side by Side because they said they wouldnt pay the fees to the credit card company for the purchase. Talked to the owner and he hung up on me twice when I called him on the fact he is not allowed to refuse my purchase because he doesnt want to pay the fees. Kind of sorry situation during this pandemic to attempt a contact-less purchase.

The staff at Carolina Honda are superb. They are helpful and knowledgeable. I recently purchased new fork seals and bushings. I also needed fork oil. I needed just a few ounces more than two bottles and was going to have to purchase a third bottle. One of the service guys found a partial bottle and gave it too me. He also walked me through the procedure to do the job myself. I walked out armed with the knowledge and parts to do the job myself.

Pleasant staff. 15% discount for veterans which is VERY NICE, and no pressure from sales staff. I actually went in to price a part. Yes...I could have saved about $2 on Amazon, and save myself a trip to the store, and have my sprocket faster, but the receptionist (younger blonde, pulling double-duty on a slow day) was very nice, so I just decided to buy the part there. Thanks for a pleasant trip and for the discount.

Had a 05 450 there and got it back with loose oil filter cap bolts loose radiator cap stopped out bolt holes for motor mounts...just looks like they generally didnt care about doing a thorough job. $2500 in repairs would make you think they would take care of your equipment

Went in to buy a new Ruckus. Great customer service. Had time to kill so was shopping in the apparel section for a helmet etc. Never once was asked for help by that guy, He couldnt get off his phone. Next day dude lists helmets on marketplace trying to sell them. You missed out and are a terrible salesman Apparel boy. But Tami was perfect on the sales end.

Purchase a generator as gift for my husband. I expect good customer service, its what you pay for; however, great customer service is what I received. The shop team had everything primed and ready to go explaining to me in simple steps exactly what to do and how to care for the equipment. gently suggested addition purchase of a rolling cart when I expressed concern over the weight. PERFECT...SOLD!!! This is a dealership ran with integrity and a genuine concern for their customers satisfaction. I have shopped since for motorcycle helmets and riding gear, equally impressed with all departments. Soon to buy a HONDA dirt bike here for our granddaughter! Happy to have this shop in my hometown. NO business can always get it right but if you see Mr. Jim Wertman I promise he will make it right and earn your business.

Fantastic service department.Took my bike there to get a rear tire mounted a few weeks ago. They told me it would take around 2 hours to do, but from dropping off the bike in the service bay to hopping back on and riding out, it was less than 40 minutes. And the final cost was 10-15 bucks cheaper than the price every other shop in town quoted me (called around and compared before taking it there). Aside from being faster and cheaper, it was also just a nice experience, while I was checking in at the service counter I was shooting the breeze with one of the techs, who was extremely friendly and seemed very knowledgeable.10/10 - Great experience, will be using them as my go-to shop for service work on my bike from now on.

In regards to the service department, they are very slow and you will be doing all the contacting. I missed a veterans day ride(I dropped it off a month before the event) because of there slow service and lack of communicating. Even upper management didnt contact me back and they wont. Heres a very good tip: If you going to have them do service on your bike, be prepared to wait 3 to 6 months.

Lots of smiling faces and excellent customer care every time I visit Carolina Honda. I dont own a Honda motorcycle, however, I purchase a good deal of my riding gear and accessories there. If they dont have a particular size, they are more than happy to order it for you! I refer all my Honda riding friends there for service and parts as well. The General Manager and staff are committed to satisfying their customers and are Good Samaritans in the biking community here in Columbia, SC. They are also dedicated to Veterans, hosting the Annual Christmas Vets Ride to take presents to the Veterans living at the Dorn VA Community Living Center here in Columbia, SC.

In todays business environment, its something special when, even through the term of time, that someone remembers you, your previous purchases, and your name. I went to the dealership, pretending to kick tires, checking out the products, the sales, and management allowed me to browse around, without conversation. I was at first offended, then I started asking questions, and allowed to continue until I found what I wanted, at that point the Salesmen, Sales Manager, and Traci, talked to me about how i was paying for it, knowing that i was paying cash, the previous purchases I had made, and laughing about leaving me alone, until I found exactly what I wanted, indicating that they remembered, thats the way I liked it. These folks are really special, and a good staff, and management team, that provides something more corporations need.

Ive had 5 Husquvarna mowers in 10 years. Sick and tired of having the same issues and having to replace after just a few months/years. Alan clearly explained all of the options with mowers. I made a decision quickly and they were lower than any internet price. Very satisfied with the time he took to go over options and explain benefits/features. Ill be back for more outdoor power equipment as necessary.

Ive went to this dealership twice over the last two years, while shopping for a new Goldwing. Both times, I left amazed at the lack of interest in the customer. I am active duty military, have the means to purchase a $29,000 bike, and knew what I wanted. No persuasion or coercion would be needed, just tell me about the bike and give the papers to me to sign.The first visit, I stood around nearly 15 minutes while sales staff stood around talking to one another. Eventually, a female approached and said if you need anything let me know. I thought that her interest was tepid at best. She then disappeared and I never seen her return. I thought, Im actually pretty content with the five motorcycles that I currently have, none of which are Honda, so maybe another time, and it doesnt appear that Im a valued customer so I left. I thought perhaps that maybe it was an off day for the dealership or that it was me.My second visit I encountered the same salesperson. Shockingly, the same response. I had come in to the store with a bike I would consider trading in, as every transaction Ive ever conducted requires the trade to be appraised. I again looked at their Goldwings, again no assistance, and finally she approached drying her hands having come out of a back room. When I asked if my bike could be looked at I was told it will take at least 24 hrs. What?!? 24 hrs to determine a value? I asked so you want me to leave my bike overnight? She responded yes. I stated that I would have no way home, and she smiled and said thats what they do. Once again, there was zero effort to sell a $29,000 motorcycle to a ready and capable buyer.So, I left and went to another dealership. I dont know the salespersons name as she never gave it, nor did I receive a card with it on. I do not have a price of their Goldwings except what was on the bike which was full MSRP for a 2016 which I could have found on the Honda Corporate website. Thankfully, they do not have any information of mine either, as I will not consider doing business with them in the future. I will drive to Charlotte before I would return to the this store.In the future I would hope that if a guy rides in and asks for an appraisal on his Harley, they might not simply assume he is riding a 1987 Harley Sportster and that he is greasy hippie. He just may be a COL stationed at Ft Jackson who over the last two years may have purchased 2 $29,000 bikes from you, if you had only treated him with respect and dignity.

While I cant say persoanlly about the Honda, since I am a Harley owner, but I know those that have bought from Carolina Honda and cant say enough about them. Jim Wertman is one top notch man.What I can say is Carolina has been there for us when we needed them the most. I am Sgt-At-Arms fot the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Chapter 34-1 here is SC. Carolina Honda has always been ready to step up to the plate when it came to helping kids by them giving to Camp Kemo, helping veterans every year with the Christmas Vets Ride.This is a business that gives back to its community and you wont go wrong doing business with them.

Carolina Honda is a well rounded powerhouse dealership. Dirt bikes, cruisers, sport bikes, ATVs, accessories, apparel, safety equipment, etc.. Jim and his crew do a stand up job ensuring their customers leave satisfied.Not only is Carolina Honda a great business, but they are also a positive member of Columbia, SC. Many motorcycle dealers have events, but rarely are they purely responsible for the charity. Typically an outside entity coordinates the event and the dealership gives them the space. This is not necessarily the case here. The charity work hosted by Carolina Honda is second to none, particularly for Americas Veterans. The annual Veterans Christmas Charity Ride gets bigger and bigger each year. All proceeds go to benefit the patients of the VA hospital in Columbia.If you are in Columbia, or the surrounding areas, I challenge you to visit this event in December. The support from the community is rather humbling.Another challenge Jim Wertman set before his team was to raise awareness and funds for Camp Kemo. He has a heart for children, especially the ones struck with serious illnesses. Camp Kemo is a happy place for these children who otherwise live life one hospital room to another.Customer service and product availablility only carries a business so far. A profound quality lacking in many establishments is the feeling you are doing more than buying a Honda. You are supporting the community service performed by Carolina Honda as well. I highly encourage anyone to browse the store. Look at the accessories, helmets, and vehicles available. Support Carolina Honda.
