This is a great place to buy Indian groceries from. When compared to stores in other states, it is not the best but for this state and especially in Columbia, SC, they do their best. There are a lot of different types of resources and the staff members are all hardworking. Also, if you can’t find something, they will definitely come and do their best to find a product, unlike the other stores in the same area. I would definitely recommend this place for a friend!

Decided to buy a few bottles of the flavored basil seeds drinks. The lady took her time coming to the counter, for she put straightening up the store was more important than me the customer, besides I guess Im not Indian.

What a great find. This is now my go to grocery for Indian food supplies. The place was very clean and well organized. All the produce looked very fresh.

Pretty nice size store. But terrible customer service. I am always being charged different prices by the older and younger guy. So Ive decided to no longer shop there. Indian grocery right down the street have reasonable prices. As well as the store on two notch road.

They overcharged me on groceries and then said that they were old prices I don’t think this is a good place to shop

In that ghost-town called Columbia, SC where we, regrettably, decided to spend out NYE, there were ONLY TWO bright spots. One of them, for sure. Was Krishna Grocery. A very good variety of Indian foods and goods AND excellent SAMOSAS cooked on site.Very impressed! Highly recommended!

Went in looking for some tubes of Godrej, Dettol, and Old Spice shaving cream. None to be found but wandered around the store for a while. Amazing selection of everything. This store is neater and (spotlessly) cleaner than other Indian grocers in town. Impressive, and I will certainly be back next time Im in the area.

Visited on 11.25.2020 @6pm, it was very busy and because they had gotten supplies that had not yet been arranged, there was major space crunch. Moving around the store with a cart was actually difficult (I have never felt it as much on my earlier visits). I also had a tough time locating some supplies as the store was being refurbished, but the manager was prompt in responding to queries. The vegetables were fresh, reasonably priced as usual. The variety of sweets in the frozen section wasnt as much as they had over summer. Please check the expiry date of items as you may end up buying something only to come home and find out that a few days of shelf life remaining..

Check the expiry date when you shop here. Much of the items I was looking for had expired months ago. The person at the billing counter was not wearing a mask too while billing my groceries. In this time when Covid is at all time high, not wearing a mask is being careless and not respecting other’s lives.

I needed almond oil and amla oil and they had it. I looked around and got some fresh mint and curry. The store was very clean and the store owner was very helpful and nice. Will be going back there soon.

I went to India last yr, but couldnt bring back some items I needed. So I decided to see what my local Indian stores have items I need. Krishna Grocery was easy to find right off the interstate with great parking. The store was not overcrowded, grocery carts at the entry way. All the staff was really helpful actually taking me the item. I had a list of spices and hair items needed for some DIYs for my myself. They do have quite a bit of produce that is more fresher than the local grocery stores. What I really liked its that it was only a few people in the store. So I had plenty of time to look and not have folks walking all over me. I did see some clothing items, jewelry, dishes, and a host of other items. Check was super easy, they take all forms of payments.I will be using them for future purchases for sure.

I wish I could give this store a zero star. Please see the expired date before you purchase your any product from here. I recently purchased a product and never saw the expire date(my mistake) but it had a expire date of Aug 2019. Please be careful before buying anything from here. Better go to some different Indian store.

Not too friendly. Ethnicity may have played a part in them not assisting me. They were courteous and did say hello. The employee opened the door when I was leaving.They may not have known what I needed, really I dont know. I am venturing out, trying other foods.

Gore it’s Zero star if this store not change their service and their products some one will be shortly goin bring people in your store For inspection and going get big trouble they sale very bad Henna cone from products from Sapna mehndi cone and it’s totally black color liquid so I am informing everyone do not buy mehndi cone from Products of Sapna it’s not actually Jenna it’s some chemical ink which dangerous for bad allergy. I bought this cone on Friday October 2nd 2020

I am surprised ...the prices are expensive than that of their own Savannah store. Further, I went to star store in Florence, and realized that I paid more on lot of items. I am a regular customer of Krishna groceries in Savannah,.....unhappy with this time experience at Columbia store. Specially I paid 14.99 to swad extra hot chilli powder, when same is marked 10.99 for 3.5 lb......the list goes on...

I have been shopping indian grocery since past 20years is USA, but Krishna Grocery shopping you feel like home, very great home oriented care and services experienced.

The store is large, clean, and well stocked. I stopped by this morning to purchase some treats for my students. The service is so awful I will NOT be returning. Not only did the sour faced fellow at the register not greet me proactively, he returned my greeting with a frown. When I thank him, he just looked away. I can spend my money where it is appreciated. When I want to expand our culinary horizons, I will pass this store on my way to the Asian Market by Dutch Square.

They werent very friendly & was not very honest. They have a $5 limit on Credit Card and I had a can of Jack Fruit that was $1.99 & a Mango 🥭 for $1.99 & because it was $5 they was trying to charge me $3.01 for the Mango 🥭 because they wanted me to get to $5. That was so wrong. I didnt get anything and left. It was my first & last time there.

I hate how I am constantly STARED OUT while shopping, alongside that religious Hindu music is played which can be inappropriate for those who are just there to shop. I am fine with other popular Indian music but don’t bring religious music. As well as that, there was incense being lit which spread smoke which hurt my lungs since I have asthma. The store might look nice but think twice about the actual experience.

Can say that it is the biggest of the Indian groceries in Columbia, SC. A lot more variety of Indian goods are available. Even timing seems to be more convenient, as the closing time is 8 pm.

I say this is the best Indian Grocery store in Columbia Compare to other Indian stores with Large space, huge Fresh Vegetable, All kinds of Indian groceries, Clean Restrooms and fast check out. Also they used to give so many deals too. Prices also very cheap.

People who complain about store helps attitude need to learn that most asian stores have immigrants who may have a sour life here, and the stores policy is not customer appreciation at all when they know they are in demand. I had an ok experience, but with carts outside it was clumsy to get it in & out of an unfriendly door. Most items were unexpired, which is surprising for an Indian store in this locale. Samosas were great. Veggies looked fresh.UPDATE: Reduced rating by 3 stars after buying unpriced/unlabeled items on trust, and expensive at that ($10 each) and most tasted expired, inedible...too tough/had no expiry dates. Hope FDA regulates these guys also. Never again, I hope to go there. And with COVID, they dont even bother wiping carts or keeping hand sans. Typical Indians.

Good selection of fresh produce for cooking Indian and South Asian staples including many items you dont find in other stores such as fresh turmeric root, curry leaves, fenugreek greens (methi), and others. Wide variety of dahls and rice, too. Good frozen section with a choice of South Asian frozen meals. Many spices including organic choices, and imported items from India for cooking. Good customer service with staff ready to help you find items and give tips on cooking!

Great place to buy indian groceries, lot of items with fresh , variety of companies with single items, inside people good help and kind.There was couple of item which didnt find but requested management and they brought from India like Sea Salt,Whole Bajra like that. Wrong pricing on Puja items, incorrect weighing, and outdated grocery items.I was a big fan of Mahabazaar since they have a big collection of goods. But was surprised on this diwali shopping.. when I wen to return one item and fortunately i went to different counter and while returning weight came different. And they were not accepting it when i asked them to weight same item 2-3 times there was a clear difference in wight of .20 lb (1.54lb vs 1.34 lb). Despite of this they keep on using that counter.Also in puja items all items were priced much higher than Indian grocery store for example same Rangoli box was 6.99 which was 4.99 at Indian grocery and all diyas were priced almost double. Bought Mango Rasmalai box which was smelling bad, so had to throw it.
