There isnt a huge variety in their models. Its almost entirely military vehicles. The staff never acknowledged me when I came into the store and I had a hard time finding the section I was looking for. I ended up leaving without buying anything. There are many other shops in the area with a better variety and better customer service. If you have kids, this might be worth a stop as they have an entire section devoted to kid level kits, but otherwise I would look elsewhere.

Awesome selection! Friendly staff. Parts for days and batteries and batteries I love going to that shop yeah stop the grown mans Toys R Us if you go to window shop youre coming home with something

This is a great hobby shop. They normally have everything you will need in stock. The staff is very knowledgeable and doesnt make you feel dumb if you are new to it, they really help you learn. I will continue to shop here as long as I live in the area. I have bought 4 RC cars in the past 2 months from them along with LOTS of accessories and upgrades.Plus they even have a 1/24th scale crawling track in the store that is free to use.

Store was clean and well organized. Staff were very knowledgeable and reasonable. My only complaint was a couple of items I needed werent in stock, though he did offer to special order. ☺️

This store used to be my main store for my model train supplier ! They have almost wiped out the selection of trains and supplies. Almost no N scale and very little HO scale.. during this time of staying home and staying away from other people, a lot of the older generation are getting back to this hobby, especially in a very rainy state like Washington. Why?

Huge assortment of scx parts and just a wide breadth of hobby related products suitable for all ages! Im impressed with how this place continues to chug along. Great job HobbyTown.

Im downgrading to 3 stars. They dont have much left in the way of model paints. Still have a few decent cars left but getting slim on that and supplies like glue etc. Soon there wont be any Mom and Pop stores. Get everything you need from Amazon. Its too bad.

Went in to purchase rc car. I felt like I was a burden to them. They showed no interest in answering the questions I had, let alone with the purchase, and my bad for making you get up to grab the product off the wall.

I enjoy visiting Hobbytown for several of my project material needs. Its nice to see that several items have been restocked now that deliveries are getting back to normal.

Not normally a fan of hobby town stores but this one is definitely the exception! Paul has helped me get the parts Ive needed for my RC cars and keep me moving forward with my builds. the rest of the staff is just as awesome, helpful and knowledgeable. im no rookie to building fast and fun RC cars but they still teach me a thing or two from time to time and help me get to the next level!

It was great. As a has no idea what to get or what questions to ask (novice/ clueless father)they answered all my kids questions in a pro/honest way. And my questions ,trust me in a patient way..

Can I give less then one star please.... Clerk sold me a good servo. And upon further investigation it was weaker then the one I originally had as well as fried 3 brand new reciever a back to back. Never coming back what con artist.

This place is a joke. They sale you something and say they have all the parts in stock. Then when you need something you find out they dont carry anything and refuse to order you anything.save your self a headache and Go to Broadway hobbies. Ox and lue are very helpful and will get you what you need for your rc. I will no longer shop at hobby town because of this reason.

Bought a plane on saturday, and did not notice that there was a price discrepancy vs the price i paid in store, had to go back in today to pick up some extra batteries and I just happened to ask what the policy was for pricing issues post sale, they went above and beyond to make it right even though I wasnt looking for that (price difference of 10$, no biggie). Really good customer service.

Great store for finding modeling or hobby paint supplies. They were out of a lot of the primary colors I was looking for but had a decent replacement selection.

Store is ok but nothing special for a hobby store. They didnt even have nitro fuel for RC cars so I had to go somewhere else. Id expect a hobby store to at least carry nitro fuel.

This place has gone down hill, they dont carry much anymore and they dont sell parts for the trucks they sell either. I remember when I use to go in and get what I needed, thats long gone. The employees used to be knowledgeable about what they sell, also not anymore.

The customer service here is lacking, I have been going here for a few years and its usually top notch. I dont know whats happened but it isnt good. I bought my son an RC for xmas and we have had so much fun with it i figured id buy myself one so we can race around and just have some fun. I went in the store today to purchase a car, i was assisted by a young lady who didnt really seem like she knew a-lot about RC cars. Which is fine everyone has to learn. She sold me a 350.00 RC car and a battery and adapter for the battery. I take the truck home and charge the battery, when i go to hook it up the adapter she sold me wasnt correct, which is fine. The problem is when i go to return it and she bold face tells me i cant return it because I didnt have the tiny bag, i did however have the cardboard backing and the barcode, but they refused to take it back even tho they sold me the wrong thing. Secondly come to find out the sales clerk sold me the wrong battery, and what i needed would have tacked on another 100.00 to the total. So at this point i am a little upset that i was sold the wrong parts and they wouldnt take it back. So i decided to return the 350.00 for exchange for a lower model that had all the batteries in the packaging. Which would have been great except they cannot just process my return they have to put it back on my card which 2-5 business days. All in all this was a horrible experience there, with not so good customer service. I would have been fine if the sales clerk would have at least taken the part back and maybe said my bad it would have been cool. But this person was just ambiguous to it. Which is the most frustrating part.

Have always had a great experience at this location. One time an employee went out of his way to inform me I had discounts that I could use because of my frequent shipping there. I didnt know about that and he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Will be returning for all my Traxx needs. And they sell my favorite 1/72 scale Hobby master die-cast airplanes 😍

They refused to let me shop there because I have asthma and can’t wear a mask. They were extremely rude and seemed to be looking for a fight. They told me the CDC has proven that there is no medical reason to be exempt from wearing a mask, which is a total lie. The state of Washington has a list of exemptions and asthma is one. They are discriminating against people with disabilities. They also said that they would not have a political discussion with me. I never mentioned politics. I only spoke about my health and US law. Obviously, they are the ones making a political issue out of this. I will never again shop there.

Model paints, glues and thinners are less expensive than Amazon. You don’t see competitive pricing much in anymore in a brick and mortar store. It’s nice to go into a hobby store and walk out spending less than you would have if you ordered it online. SOME toys are expensive, some items are very competitively priced and the staff is very friendly and knowledgable. There is something for everyone at Hobby Town.

Over priced as to be expected at a Hobby store. One employee is extremely helpful and the other is very stand offish and acts like your not worth his time. Its not a bad place to go to see what direction you want to go with your hobbys but i wouldnt buy from here again.

Keep Brick & Mortar alive! These folks are always very helpful. I bought a $100 R/C car from them about 6 months ago. Today, I had a question about charging the car and I gave them a call. Honestly, I was worried that they’d be annoyed with the phone call, but they embraced the opportunity to provide the highest level of service. Besides answering my one or two questions, they provided advice and suggestions to optimize my experience. We NEED these type of stores around and THIS TYPE of customer support to retain the purpose of Brick & Mortar. I’m absolutely certain I could buy some of these items online, but I’ll pay more to receive quality service any day. Good work guys!

I really like these guys. The staff is helpful and friendly. Over the past two years I ya e purchased a few things here, returned one, and come in a few times for advice and repairs. The latter is especially valuable if you’re doing stuff like RC cars and planes, because crashes happen. As a newcomer to the hobby I found them super helpful in choosing products and making diagnoses and repairs.

All I can say is if you are going to purchase and RC vehicle, you need to go to these guys. First of all, their prices are very competitive to prices online, but if you have issues, these guys will take care of you. I have mainly worked with Paul at the Everett location and he is fantastic.

Ordered a motor for my drone. They never told me that they only order on Monday, so once a week. Going on week 3 and still waiting for my part. Also the clerk said that they would look to see if it came in when I called and call me back and never did. Made it real easy to go to Broadway Hobby instead from now on. No customer service skills at all.

Great store, their RC plane stock is not like it was 10 years ago, everything is now foam arfs, but the staff are still nice. Great for plastic modelers, train folks, and R/C cars.

If you love model kits this is the place to go. They have Gunpla,model cars,truck,tanks,planes, train sets,Legos, RC cars,electric and Gas,Rock crawlers,min figures, paint supplys ect. Also if you get a reward card it really helps. Spend enough the first time you go on then the next time get a huge discount.

Great store. My kids ar into RC cars and crawlers, and the staff is incredibly helpful from making an informed decision, to helping trouble shoot breaks, faults and damaged parts. Also had a great selection of repair and upgrade parts. Thats just for RC cars. They have boats, planes, trains, models and a whole bunch of other fun stuff for all ages.

I went in to get my Stampede 4x4 looked at because I had a hard time setting up my ESC and my servo was acting up. They helped me fix it and bought there belted tries that they recommend and was back out playing with my son in no time.

Good store, friendly folks, great selection. Walls are packed with models and there is something for kids from 2 to 102. Bonus points for extensive hobby tools and die cast aircraft models by Gemini Jets.

Refused to allow my pregnant wife to use the bathroom, and were very rude to her. I have literally purchased hundreds of models through local stores as well as resin and countless supplies and paints. Will absolutely never return and encourage all of my club friends and local builders to avoid at all cost. Worst customer service ever. Boooooo

Ive been in the store 4 times and they have less and less paint and never in stock with the paint brand Im looking for. Staff is hit or miss with being helpful. Id like to support local stores and a hobby shop but they only give me answers of shipments next week.

I purchased my first Apprentice with S.A.F.E. TECH. Loved it so much I bought a second!! Just recently I purchased the Timber and will be installing the stock platoons for landing on water. Excited to try and get used to it. Also the Timber has the shortest takeoff and landing distance.

Had lots of questions about RC Rock Crawlers they didnt seem to have time to talk to me was a little disappointed in their customer service
