One of the best breakfast sandwiches Ive ever had - the eggs were soft and perfectly seasoned, the cheese was just melted and the bacon was delicate and crispy. And the whole sandwich was put together with care. Worth a detour! Also great selection of coffee.

Met a friend for coffee here this morning. The coffee was good, the atmosphere was comfortable, but the reason Im writing this review is because of we were treated. My friend has a young daughter that certainty couldnt drink an entire smoothie herself. The staff was kind enough to to make a little extra of what her mom was having for no extra cost and let this little girl have her own cup. Not only that but a 2nd employee came to our table with some fun color changing spoons for her to play with while we enjoyed our coffees. You dont get treated this well everywhere you go. Thats how you earn a repeat customer

Was on the Lancaster Best Kept Secret Tour. Staff person was not at all friendly and I felt like it was a problem that I had come in..so I left. Hope other people on the tour had a better experience.

Was looking to support local business after hiking the nearby trail and was disappointed with the unfriendly service by the girl at the counter. I went in for a simple order of a dish of ice cream and she was less than pleasant throughout the entire transaction. The gentleman who served me my ice cream, however, was very friendly.

Cool vibe. Service a little slow on the day we went. But a good place to slow down life a bit.

We attended Coffee and Cream with hopeful intentions of warm environment and delicious cuisine. While our expectations were met by the exquisite food, the service was dreadful. As we walked in we were not greeted nor given directions of how to order. Once we were helped after standing there awkwardly, we didn’t even get to mention the fact we had made reservations because of their poor communication. We ordered combos and were not given any chips. As the restaurant was trendy and very appealing to the eye, the poor service deterred us from ever wanting to come back

Giant scoops of Hersheys ice cream. Clean, bright, updated dining area. Accomodations inside and out. Right on the rail trail. You just have to try it.

Great ice cream/kind staff but the overall experience gets a 4 or maybe a 3.5. Stop staring to those who have never seen a Columbia Native. Yeah were River Rats. . loud kids who might not deserve ice cream . . getting ice cream!

Coffee & Cream was a stop for us after a morning of antique shopping in Columbia. Two of our favorite things, coffee and ice cream drew us in, but the milk shakes and London Fog will bring us back again. Looking forward to trying one of their breakfast sandwiches, quiche, or the baked oatmeal next time. Menu has a variety of cafe drink choices. And, when we can dine in again I have my eye on one of the leather chairs to sit and chat, or just listen to the customer chatter and cool music played there.

Great little Cafe and coffee shop. Great menu selection. Sitting outside can get a little noisy but the convenient access to the rail trail is a plus!

This is the best little place ever!!!! While it is called, Coffee and Cream, that title does not do it justice. In addition to incredible sandwiches, they sell Hershey Ice Cream. Patio seating is Covid friendly, but more importantly, this place is right across from the river. There is ample parking and even benches. Heck, bring a blanket and sit on the lawn. Also, if you use the bike trail, enjoy a drink or yummy scoop of ice cream, when done. John Wright may brag of high end dining with a view, this place has all the ambience and a fraction of the cost!

Owner is super friendly. The sandwiches [caprese and chicken salad with avacado] were delicious and my caramel latte was on point. Their service was phenomenal and the staff was friendly and inviting. Definitely a place to make your regular spot with your besties or family. Then hit the trail right down the street.

Pretty disappointing. I got a maple spice latte with oat milk. The milk was not steamed properly and the maple flavor overpowered the whole drink. It tasted like coffee with too much flavored creamer. I paid 6.00 for a small. The service was also weird, as people that ordered after us, got their drinks first. However, I probably will come back to give it another go when Im in the area. Its definitely a cute place!

Long line. Minimal staff. 2 Girls taking orders, making orders, and delivering orders, working their tails off. Maybe its because of Covid and only being able to order from the window. Waited forever to get 2 small coffee. Ill try again when things go back to normal and will change my stars if service is better.PS: We werent the only people in line a little frustrated.

This is a really cute place to grab a light breakfast after hiking or biking on the nearby trails. The service is fairly quick and they have some nice outdoor seating set up on the sidewalk while restrictions on indoor dining are still in place.

Weekend staff are friendlier then weekday staff, But food and drinks are good. A little pricey depending on what u buy. 1 frappe and 1 danish is $9 and change. The ice cream is a great price for the amount they give! Female staff should smile some always seem down.

I love hiking around the Susquehanna and its nice to have a little place to decompress before returning to daily life. Woke up today and had a very nice hike around Chickies Rock just up the road. Decided to stop in on my way back home because it looked interesting. Very cute and attractive setup, friendly staff. I got a hot chocolate which was easily the best Ive ever had from any restaurant/cafe. Perfectly creamy and chocolatey and the perfect temperature. I will definitely be returning!

Great place by the river.

The newer cafe is very bright and cheerful. The service is excellent and very fast. I ordered a pumpkin latte and a western quiche. I could tell that both items were made fresh. The dining area is small but also roomy. The employees were very kind and attentive. Overal, a very good place to stop at, I recommend it to everyone!

The woman working (Wednesday at 7:30am) was perfectly friendly, we had a nice talk. I felt prices were reasonable, I just got a large coffee and it was $2 and change. Coffee was decent. Would love to see more flavors offered though, seasonal options. Very specious and pretty inside. Looking forward to breakfast sandwiches being offered in the future. I have no complaints and will plan to return!

Friendly, patient staff. REALLY REALLY delicious coffee! The regular coffee is strong enough, far better than most places. The iced coffee and the Americano Ive had were heavenly. Four stars instead of five because it is kind of pricey, but they sure deliver with flavor. And right now they have a special, a 16oz + 2 donuts for $5 . Oh, and the donuts and ice cream equally great. Clean, quaint. Grab a cup and walk down by the river with your soul mate. Kudos to Columbia borough too.

The employees werent wearing there face masks and a female employee laughed at me after she handed me the icecream I ordered and after I said, Thank you. The female employee continued to laugh and said, Your welcome. This is a highly inappropriate way to approach and act towards your customers and is intolerable! Whoever the manager is please correct this situation!

I am so pleased that this place has opened! It is absolutely wonderful. It is a perfect place to meet friends and chill in a relaxed environment. My friends and I love the little area in the back they have for kids and the private table! I have been here a handful of times and feel it keeps getting better everytime I go. I love that they serve breakfast items the whole time they are open now and that they are doing specials as well which are always tasty. I enjoy there crossiant sandwiches and iced coffee! The owner Megan is always so sweet and helpful to any questions you might have and is very accommodating. I will be sure to make a visit soon and walk the rail trail too!

I found the food and coffee to be excellent. I had quiche, and my wife had the baked oatmeal, which she is fairly fussy about. We thoroughly enjoyed it!My only complaint is that, with all the hard surfaces, it can be a bit noisy. To be fair, our table was a major contributor with the stories and laughter that was bursting forth!

We received complimentary coffee and pleasant service. I like strong coffee. There was a dark roast available; it would have been stronger had I made it, but it was better than the medium roast I had last time. The space is lovely and inviting. Enjoy!Original Review: We ride the River Trail most Sundays so we watched the progress of this place as it readied for opening. We love a cup on coffee after our ride. We entered with great anticipation. It is finally open! We did not feel welcome. We were met by a woman who was clearly annoyed by the presence of customers. And please, customers, do not bother her with questions. There is one price on the board for coffee so I thought that there was only one size. When I ordered I was asked what size? and I explained my confusion. I am clearly stupid - unable to read that which is not available to be read . . . on top of all of this the coffee was weak. Good coffee might have caused me to overlook the attitude. Bad coffee - not worth it any way I look at it.

Great coffee. There is a kids playing area and the decor is great. Very bright and warm inside with views of the river and bridge right out the front. A step above your average coffee shop!
