Sales person appeared to be very helpful and knowledgeable only to find later he wasnt. Of course he got me to sign up for things that later turned out not what I wanted or was told I would get. When I called to complain about it all I got was a Im sorry with no resolution for his mistake that will now cost me every month for 2 years.

Friendly, awesome service. Best AT&T store I’ve visited. Christopher D. Is very knowledgeable and helpful. Total opposite of the Sandhills store which his an unhelpful mess. I will drive across town past the Sandhills store in order to make purchases at this AT&T store due to their excellent service.

My experience in the At&t store on Gervais Strret was very positive. The store was very clean and quite organized, to say the least. Ive been in various At&t stores where items were so disorganized to the point where i just walked out. The owner of this At&t store was very engaging and knowledgeable as well as polite. He knew what he was doing and very on-point when giving advice about a particular product i pointed out to him and answered every single question asked of him. I will definitely recommend my friends and family to visit this store and buy merchandise; no one will be disappointed with the quality of care and service theyll receive here. Kudos to the young man who owns this particular At&t!Kathy Byrd

Worst customer service, better use hotline. They open and close as they please. This Saturday I came at 4 (Its open until 7) just to find a sign will return at 5. When I came back at 5, there was a sign will return at 6. Even though, there was somebody in the store! I knocked but they hid in the back. Pathetic and inacceptable for the most expensive provider. My contract did not work, I could not call or use my phone for days.I heard that wasnt the first time they do that

The store manager was very helpful during the upgrade of my device. The regional manager of the store was not. I upgraded my device and the device was activated at the store. I brought the device home, plugged the device in to charge and the screen started flickering. I brought the device back to the store the next day and was advised to submit a claim or pay a $55 restocking fee to swap the device. I was given a faulty device AND told I had to pay to return it. Poor problem resolution and customer service as usual. Im still working with customer service to resolve AT&T issue.Update: AT&T policy states that the restocking fee can be waived i fghe device is defective. This location is an AT&T authorized dealer who does not follow the same rules. Locate an AT&T company store not an authorized dealer to save yourself a headache.

Five stars!!! Its not often that you find a customer service representative who is both friendly and knowledgeable. Today Davonte blew me away with his customer service, not only did he have suggestions about plans, he explained each offer in detail which allowed me to make the best choice for my agency. I left with a new phone and better equipped to provide service to youth in the Midlands.

Had a very positive experience here today. Was treated like family and left as a very satisfied customer. Parking is somewhat a challenge. Sineage says theres a place to park at the Hilton on Lady St, but I was not able to easily find it, so I parked around the corner across from Chipotle by the meters.

I want to preface this review with a universal truth- cell phone providers suck regardless of which you choose.That being said, I had a great experience with Ginny yesterday evening. I am not very tech literate and she helped me through every step of the way. Her patience and understanding was so refreshing when oftentimes anything to do with cell phone providers can be extremely frustrating.People like Ginny who work the front lines of customer service (especially during a pandemic, let’s not forget) deserve raises, bonuses, and real recognition. She is a great employee and AT&T is lucky to have her on their team.

My experience initially started off well but it became pretty frustrating when it took four hours to get mine and my familys phones data transferred. I know this is a common practice, and I was okay with it at first, but the stores Devante, didnt seem to care and kept going over to help other customers. But that aside, I was happy because Devante told me our bill would be $140 with all charges included. But when we got our first bill, it was $491, definitely not what I was expecting. I called AT&T Billing and they were able to solve my issue that shouldnt have been there in the first place since Devante didnt know what he was talking about. To get the bill to $140, we had to get rid of a lot of needless charges that Devante didnt us about. Not a good way to start as a new AT&T customer.

Especially I would like to thank Kimmi today for helping me on an issue with my new phone which I was working on it with different stores for a long time and couldn’t reach a solution. But she solved in a minute. I really appreciate her being in this store for us.

Ive had two great experiences getting my phones from this store. Customer service has always been great. Last time, I had to port a Line2 number from their app to my new phone, and Hunter stayed on hold with Line 2 for a long time to make sure the job was done before I left the store!

Had a superb experience at the AT&T store on Gervais St with their manager Blake! He was extremely helpful with getting an existing account canceled I tried to make online with little to NO results. I was able to set up a new account and get my installation date pushed up. He moves at the end of August so don’t miss out on a stress free process before he leaves.

Went to the location one afternoon to purchase a new phone and received a great customer experience. Blake was the only agent in the store and was managing the place like a champ! There were a couple of people before me, both who had time consuming transactions. Blake was able to make sure that each person was attended to as well as those few that came in to pay bills. The wait was much shorter than I expected and he was extremely helpful in setting up my new phone as well as courteous enough to apologize for my wait. Blake definitely deserves a raise! Will be returning to this location for all my future phone needs. Great customer service!

Dishonest management!Went into the store to talk about switching to DIRECTV. Decided against when I found out that the price went up $63.00 after the first year. The Store Manager assured me that my bill would not go up in year 2. I asked that she give me written and signed statement of this offer to give me recourse later. When I called about year two pricing 11 months later, I was told that that Manager was no longer there and that offer was not valid. I spoke with the current Store Manager and the Area Manager explaining that I entered into a 2 year agreement because of the assurance I was given that I would receive that pricing throughout the contract, supported by the signed statement from their Store Manager. I was told that they would call me back once they determined how to honor that agreement. Neither of these representatives called me back and I had to call several times over the course of a couple of weeks after they routinely missed commitments to call me back.The only solution offered to me was to call AT&T on a 3-way call to ask their retention department if anything could be done. In the end, AT&T honored the agreement this dishonest retailer offered me. This solution was not a result of any proactive or positive efforts on the retailer’s part.Their handling of this situation demonstrates entirely this retailer’s comfort operating in a dishonest space given they meet sales quotas. Sadly, their new management team was not motivated at all to resolve the situation, rather hoping I would just go away after they failed to call me back.

I came in with an issue concerning my account and potential fraud and they helped me over the course of a few days in the most kind and professional manner. This is by far the WORSE company in the US! 👈🏽 And I wish that was an understatement! I spoke with over 8 representatives over 3 hours today NO ONE was able to help me! I was given the run around and when I asked to speak with a Supervisor I was only routed to another representative or bombarded with more questions! I was sent an email from AT&T (that I still have) that my service would be installed on June 20, 2017 at 8am to 12pm the email clearly states it boldly! So today it is June 20,2017 here in Columbia SC 3:11pm no one has called to say theyre late called to say anything about the service I havent heard anything from AT&T! But you call yourself a corporation?? 😒 I have contacted my attorney to get my money back! How can you tell me my payment deposit has to be on time but you want to come install my internet whenever its convenient for your company! Nope! Not having it! Ill see you in court AT&T

Cant say enough good about this location on Gervais! We (my mom and I) were in need of a new pre-pay phone for her. We really got the runaround at another location and came over to give them a try even though some reviews were not so stellar. Let me say the we had the pleasure of working with Antoni who helped us tremendously. He had a can do attitude and was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. The whole trip to AT&T on Gervais was like butter and it all had to do with Antoni. Hes a real buttercup!

Read and come to your own conclusion!I came in knowing that i was due for an upgrade and wanted the newest iPhone. The VERY first thing that I said was that i had limited time and absolutely had to be back at my business by 3pm - it was 1:30. The young man helping me, Kendall, said that, yes, it could be done and I could get finished before 3. Super! He started the transaction, backup, what all he needed to do to get my data from one phone to another or whatever . . . then . . . he started an upload/download (I dont know which) and THEN said, I dont know how long this will take. The internet speed is out of my control and there is nothing that I can do, well . . . ok . . . but I said BEFORE we began that I absolutely HAD to be back at my business by 3. Kendall, very kindly, asked his manager if he could just bring it to me, since my office is only just across the Gervais Street Bridge. GREAT , , , right? Kendall got to my office and then started an upload/download and said at that time that my internet speed wasnt enough for him to do whatever he had to do and that he had to take it back to the AT&T store to complete that. *insert head scratch here -wasnt that why I had to leave the phone at the store with him in the first place? Now . . . here is where is gets crazy. He said that they close at 7. I told him that I would do my very best to get there before they close at 7. He took my phone back with him to the AT&T sore and then called me at 5pm to say my phone was ready. I told him I couldnt leave until we were finished up here with clients but that I was going to do my best to try and get there before 7. He hung up and then called right back to say that they were locking the door at 6:45. huh? I looked up the website and I see 10 am - 7pm. At 6:30ish my last client was still here and I called to asked if a friend could pick up my phone for me, as I was anxious that I wouldnt be able to get there in time and was told NO and they were locking the doors at 6:45. Since I couldnt get there before 6:45, (but would be able to around 6:50sh) I just gave up for the evening.The more I thought about the situation, the more upset I became. 7 pm closing time is 7pm closing time . . . not 6:45. The entire experience there was unprofessional. We DO have choices and I went there today around 2 with the intention of canceling the entire purchase and taking my business elsewhere. I felt assaulted by them when I told them that . . . and they adamantly denied telling me that they would lock the door at 6:45. They treated me like I was a crazy lady witch (with a B) and flat out said they never said such a thing! THEN they wanted to charge me a $45 restocking fee for a telephone that I NEVER even had in my hand . . . literally.I DID complete the purchase but highly recommend avoiding this store. you DO have choices and I recommend another place . . .in addition, it smells bad in there! That is just an FYII think Kendall could have a great career doing something else and with another company. It was clear he was new and still training, as he had to continuously stop and go ask his manager one thing or another. I know he tried to do a good job and I certainly appreciate his effort to bring my new phone to me, even though it wasnt ready to be handed off.If the owner of this facility would like to speak with me directly, I would love to do so. This is a great location, but there are serious opportunities to do further training.

I signed up for multilinear service and recurved a free iPad. After 1 month I cancel service on my iPad turning my account into a single line service. Since Im on autopsy I havent seen my bill until today and noticed that Im still paying multiple line charges for6 months because I didnt reguest single line charges when I went to a single line payment. So I paid 200 over what should have paid. This company said too bad.! So be careful or you will get ripped of.
