I bought a car here in November 2012. Charles Saleeby was very kind and reasonable to me. I traded in my 1996 Chevy S10 for a 2006 Chevy Cobalt, which I loved and never had any problems out of. Unfortunately, I wrecked the car in March of the following year and it was totaled. In the future when I am in need of a new vehicle I will definitely check Global Automotive and see what they have. I have nothing bad to say about Global Automotive or their customer service.

I used to sell advertising to car dealers in the area. I know most dealerships in Columbia extremely well. Global automotive is the ONLY place I send my friends and family to shop for a car. Charlie does most everything himself and keeps his overhead low so that he can price all of his vehicles 1-2000 less than you would find anywhere else. He is a one man show so if you expect 20 people to fawn over you and give you the best customer service ever then you can pay a couple thousand more down the road. If you want a great car at a great price without dealing with a bunch of high pressure salespeople then Global Automotive is THE place to go!

We came from Orangeburg to check out a Jeep Liberty with under 100K miles and found a helpful and courteous staff. Jeep was tight and gave no indications of any serious conditions. It had a few items that needed attention, and Charles was very accommodating in getting them attended to. I was allowed a very fair trade-in value on my 98 Olds Intrigue. Delivery of the Jeep went seamlessly. It was a very satisfactory experience from beginning to end, and I will not hesitate to recommend this dealership.

DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! I hate that I even have to give them 1 star. I bought a 2012 Jeep Liberty from him in December and here I am 4 months later having to replace the entire engine. Thought I was getting a great deal on a low mileage vehicle, but Im having to spend about $2000 to fix this dud of a car Im not stuck with. I wish I could just get my Juke that I traded in back. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE BUSINESS.IN RESPONSE TO GLOBAL AUTOMOTIVES COMMENT ON MY REVIEW: My uncle did look over the vehicle before we purchased it, that is true. However, looking it over from the outside, everything looked fine. Its not possible to take an engine apart and see whats really going on, nor is it inconceivable that a seedy, disreputable dealership such as this one would make it appear as if a car is in good condition when in fact there are major underlying issues. The day we bought the car & brought my uncle to look it over, I was uneasy at how rushed and off putting Charles Saleeby was (he never seemed to be the nicest person, but once we brought my uncle, the mechanic to the lot, he was even more off putting though he obliged to let him look over the vehicle). I should have listened to my gut feeling to walk away when I noticed this. WE ALSO WERE NOT OFFERED ANY EXTENDED WARRANTIES ON THIS VEHICLE FROM THE DEALERSHIP.This car has been very well cared for since the day we bought it.. Ive put less than 1000 miles on it and its been cleaned and kept clean. So to accuse us of doing something to it after we bought it is BEYOND ABSURD. Not everyone is crooked like this dealership, some of us just fall victim to their shady business practices. Ive certainly learned my lesson to NEVER buy from small used car dealerships again. I wish I never would have traded in my Nissan Juke.. then I wouldnt have spent $2000+ replacing an engine on a car with less than 70k miles on it four months after I bought it.

I called inquiring about a car I wanted to purchase the guy is a jerk. He lacks a single bone in his body to do customer service. He is very unfriendly and I will take my bussiness elsewhere!
