This is a outstanding bookstore. It has everything in it you desire. The employees are super, super friendly and more than willing to help you if you need it! There was a section for all interests in this store, which I liked very much so!

I love going to BAM. I usually will find a lot of bargain books to choose from. In this store, however, I did not see any bargain priced books Not sure if just this store or if its something they have gotten rid of. If so, thats a shame.

This is a small location so only expect the newest most popular selections.

This place is like the best sections of Borders Books or Barnes and Noble except no seating or cafe

Smaller than most but I liked how it was organized better. Seemed like this BAM had more pop-culture type items. Its on the second floor. Prices are the same as any other. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I LOVE the smell of books and paper. One of the few brick and motor bookstores left. Theyve expanded into other things besides books. Like action figures, statues, figurines, and board games. Awesome store! Definitely go there when Im feeding nostalgic.

Smallest and most cramped books a million I have ever seen. It seem like they are here more for gimics then to sell books. Sorry dont know what else to say because I have never seen a book store like this that doesnt even have a place to sit down. Not my kind of store and is hard to find within the mall as there are no signs pointing to it.

I was looking for a board game and was surprised to find a unique game that the very helpful store employee helped me find.

They will trick you into getting a member ship thinking it won’t cost anything! I left the store and looked at my receipt and I was charged an extra $20 for this membership (me thinking it was just a account to get points/receive emails) .I walked back in and spoke with the manager to cancel the membership and get my money back. The cashier didn’t have an attitude at first but as soon as I walked back in her whole attitude changed!!! They made it seem like I was some sort of inconvenience to them. The manager said she would call the company and cancel the account. I had a suspicious feeling that she never really did so I called myself. TURNS OUT SHE DIDN’T!!! I would have been charged for the member ship and a magazine subscription which they said IT WAS FREE!!Management need to train their employees on how to approach customers and clarify what the membership ACTAULLY is. Don’t waste your time and money here.

Books-a-million is always a great experience for me. It brings out my inner child every time I go. Especially when I see comics stuff. But no matter what I go for, I always find something I like. They carry so much stuff for a wide range of people, so it can definitely be a family stop. I was skeptical the first time I stepped into one of these, but Ive never regretted it.

I want to recommend the manager Martin for an award. He stayed a few minutes this Wednesday after close to help me find the book The Bucket List, which is sold out everywhere and online. He found the last copy for me and made my wifes day as she was shipped a pool table instead of two of these books from urban outfitters. This guy had great customer service and made my week. Thank you and I will shift my book buying here instead of Amazon.

Loved this bookstore in DC!

I went here to peruse the latest titles in the universe of books. This is one of the smaller locations of book stores that I frequent. In the past I have purchased books from here and will continue to buy books from here. I have really slowed down my pace of reading over the years. However the summer time presents alot of opportunities for good reading for me due to basketball season ending and the football season not starting until the end of summer.

Good selection of books and related products. Helpful staff. Great to have a book store in the Mall.

I go here to buy Hot VWs magazine. Well organized store but, I find this location has the most generic selection of books available. If youre looking for a top seller they probably have it but, you be surprised by what they stock. No cafe.

If there were employees walking around helping people, I might have given the place a better review. Beside that, there were some really good books in there.

Love having a bookstore at the mall. This place does a great job of mixing books with a variety of other merchandise. The staff has always been helpful when I have a question. Pricing is hit or miss, but dont assume that Amazon is cheaper in all cases. Sad that they did away with the comics section.

The store has a great selection of books and magazines, but is very disorganized from my point of view. At the front of the store and to the sides, there are toys and products everywhere, sometimes on the floor and sometimes where they shouldnt be. It made looking for certain books and items much harder than it shouldve been. Id rather go to Barnes and Noble if I were looking for just a book.

I enjoy stopping by on my lunch break to look for books. Great selection and nice abeyance. Staff is very helpful and seem to know every book there.

It has books, what more is there to say? I go there for Star Wars novels and it never disappoints. Friendly staff, great place.

It was okay. The layout in the last Book-A-Million store I was in made me feel lost and some merch I was searching for was a little hard to find.

Found Christmas gifts I didnt know I was looking for. I was very happy I went in. The guy at the register was nice and such a big help.

First time there and it was actually a decent size. The selection was ok. How often does one see a book store in a mall? Easy access and Lord to see and do as well.

Im not a big fan of librarys, but head there if you like it, its clean and has a variety of books for everyone.

A great bookstore. Pricey but great. Did not have any new magazines in stock yet but great. Wish they would expand there magazine collection to include international ones, i.e. French, Italian, German, Spanish, Mexican ect..

I was mislead by an associate to sign up for free magazines. Needless to say it wasnt free, the associate signed me up for a subscription which I would have to pay for. Only after she got my info and submitted it did she tell me It wasnt actually free. When I asked for her to cancel it, she told me that I would have to call. I asked for the manager who was professional and kind, she said that she would cancel it for me. she told me I wouldnt waste my time and stress about canceling it. she told me it would be a couple days and it has been a week. I am still waiting for the problem to be fixed and still stressed out about the unethical way that the sales associate got myself and Im sure others to sign up to make their quotas.

So much more than just books. You can find something different for everyone for Christmas or any other occasion.

Location is in Columbia mall. Decent size for abook store. I like the selection of collectibles they have and some harder to find blind boxes like Mega man. Pricing is a little high and they dont match their iwn online prices, which is a little odd. The pay-for membership stinks, too. Not that impressed with this location or company.

Not a book store anymore, more like a toy store. So dont go there if you want to buy a book but go there to buy toys etc, and stuff which they buy from China for a dollar and sell for twenty five dollars. Nothing quality stuff here.

I like this store a lot. I typically buy books from Amazon or second hand stores, but BAM has cute knickknacks and fangirl stuff. They have candy, candles, piggy banks, wall art, journals, and records. Also the staff is awesome. Theyre funny and helpful which is a great combo. Prices are high, but no more than would be expected; comparable to barnes and noble. Today I bought a Jason Isbell album, a stuffed meerkat, an I-spy book, and sour candy. The person checking me out actually radioed to the other store members to ask whether they tried it and if it was any good (i asked him if he had tried it and he hadnt).

Scam warning!I went in to buy a gift for a friend, paid with a credit card, and months later Im being charged for magazine subscriptions! I was on the phone forever trying to get all this cancelled. I will never shop at Books-A-Million ever again. How can this be legal?

Cool store...has something for everyone.

Comic book room, (yes, they have such a thing!), is beautifully organizèd. New comics are displayed by DC, Marvel, and independents. Many older issues are discountèd! Plenty of graphic novels, manga, POPs, tin signs, and other related paraphernalia surrounds you in this wondèful enclave. The rest of the store is loaded with great little rooms and areas to explore! Customer service has been excellent!

Would give this store zero stars if I could. The representative at the register told my daughter not to use a voice changer in the store even though it had try me plastered all over it.If your easily agitated by noise then working the register at the toy store probably isnt a good fit. Whats worst is she try to sneak and tell her not realizing I was bent down in the next row.
