It was a pleasure doing business with them! Knowledgeable and thorough, Ricky and his staff performed quality work at a reasonable price. They discovered that the fix the dealership recommended wasnt the real issue. We initially contacted Mastercraft to quote the recommended repair. Instead of paying $1,000 to the dealership, Ricky quoted us a 40% savings. Once Mastercraft looked over our vehicle, it was determined to be an entirely different problem. They were able to repair it that day and it was only about $250. Thank you!

Great experience. Ricky, Brian and Joy were great to work with. They exceeded my expectations. Ive been to a lot of auto repair places, and I was very impressed with how clean they keep their offices. Usually theres paper everywhere and greasy finger prints on the paper and walls. . None of that here. They take pride in their work and in their work place. Highly recommend. Over 30 years in business.

Ive been taking my car here for 5 years or so and cant count the number of times theyve saved me from getting taken advantage of by chain shops. Because of my job I unfortunately sometimes have to get services done elsewhere on a weekend but anytime Im told I need something replaced I check it with Brian (who Id have do the replacing anyway). He not only tells me 99% of the time that I dont need whatever the other shop said but he physically shows me why on my car. Hes been right on target in diagnosing a problem just from a description and I think he views it as an enjoyable game to research who has the best price on parts. The folks in this shop are incredibly honest and knowledgeable and not once have they tried to sell me something I didnt need. Its been the exact opposite - they try to save you money where its safe to do so.

The crew at Rick, Brian and Rhonda, Mastercraft is the best automotive repair shop in Columbia. They are friendly, polite and reasonable. They dont fix it unless it has to be fixed — simple as that!On top of all the great service. They are good people.Heres the proof: Ive been using Mastercraft since 2005. And whenever I buy a car, new or used I always have them check it out. They have never been wrong.

Having someone you can trust to work on your car is invaluable. Rhonda, Ricky and Brian are wonderful to work with. They treat all customers with respect and the service technicians do the work that is needed and do it correctly the first time. I encourage anyone looking for a place to take your vehicles to give them a try. They saved us from people who did work incorrectly and unsafely on two different occasions and we will go to them first from now on!

First of all, let me say that I no longer live in Columbia SC, but used Mastercraft for 5 years off and on when I did. Bryan and the staff are awesome. They are honest and sincere and friendly while providing excellent service. On one occasion with my truck I thought there was a mojor issue when it turned out to be little to nothing and they were straight forward with me and it cost me next to nothing. My mother still lives in Columbia so I recommended her go to Mastercraft. With her minimal knowledge of cars, they provided her with great service at an affordable price. The way business is done here is exemplary and needs to be followed by so many! Thank you for being an excellent place to work with! A++++++

You will not find a more honest group to look at your car. They have helped me several times. They will always tell you what is best for you. For example, I had a problem in my truck that is very old and worn out and it was going to cost 1400 to fix the problem, but they were able to fix it for minimal cost with what they called a band aid, because they were concerned for me putting in that much money to a truck that may not last long. Ricky Dennis is a high character guy that I will continue to trust with my vehicles and you should too. If they cant fix your particular problem, they will direct you to another honest mechanic that can. Thanks Mastercraft for all your help.

From my experience, I think they are the best repair shop in Columbia. They are extremely honest with good pricing. I had been to a number of repair shops with a significant engine problem and Mastercraft was the only one that confirmed what the issue was and gave options/recommendations.

They are truly a southern company. They remember who you are and have the best prices around. If they cant fix it they will point you in a good direction to get it fixed by a good person. They are very military friendly too.

My wife and I were on our way back from vacation about 200 miles from home. Our Infiniti SUV lost power on the highway and died on the side of the road. We called a towing company and they recommended Mastercraft and towed the car there. We were greeted by the owner and they got right to work. In less than two hours they had the fuel lines fixed and we were on our way. The entire staff was awesome, the services great and the price to fix more than fair. I highly recommend these guys!!

Friends BMW broke down (she had been giving it the wrong gas) and we called Mastercraft for a tow to get it worked on, they were here in 22 minutes, which seems like a very good response time for a tow truck, at least compared to AAA, which usually seems like 45 minutes to an hour. I will update this with cost etc when I know more.

You wont be disappointed when you come here. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. It was July when my air conditioner decided to completely stop blowing cold air. I wanted to die. After taking my 2008 Nissan Sentra to get it diagnosed at a different place, I was told the clutch which turns on the compressor was the cause of it. I was told it would be cheaper to just replace the entire compressor instead of just the clutch. Mind you, Im a young, single mother who knows NOTHING about vehicles. I was told it would cost upwards of $1000 to fix it. I was heartbroken but I knew I needed to get it done if I wanted to survive the summer. After further research I decided to buy the compressor myself and just find a mechanic to install it. That proved to be harder than I imagined. After calling a few places around town I was either told no, or around $400 and above. I got ridiculous explanations too. Im pretty sure they were all trying to take me for granted because I was a female and had no idea about what they were talking about. Finally I called Mastercraft and was quoted about $150. I was in disbelief, I swear I asked him to repeat himself at least 5 times. He assured me again and again that was the cost. He even offered me to bring my car and have him take a look. He didnt charge me a penny!!! He confirmed that is was the clutch. That diagnosis alone would have cost me at least $100 anywhere else. Meanwhile all of this was happening I told Dave? (Im sorry Im not that good with names!) that I was waiting on the part to come in the mail. I remember telling him a certain date and he told me he could fit me in the morning. I probably proved to be the biggest headache. Turns out I didnt get the part on time and I probably rescheduled on him at least 3 times. EVERY single time I had to call him and tell him I didnt have the part he was so sweet about it and said not to worry. Finally the day comes when I take my car in; I give him the part and a couple hours later I get the call that my car is ready. Upon arriving to pick up my car I discover the charge was even less. I want to say it was less than $110. I was in shock. He went above and beyond not only doing the repair but his customer service too. More than a year later, my air conditioner still works great. I drove my car all the way back home to San Diego, CA with no problems. I hold a special place in my heart for Mastercraft, they have the sweetest man ever working for them and they did a great job on my car. I am forever grateful! God Bless your business and everyone working here. Thanks so much!Give them a try and I promise you wont be disappointed!
