We had van issues on our family trip from Florida to Ohio. We were in a jam on a Saturday when our van started to run horribly. Their shop was very busy. Instead of telling us they were sorry and couldnt help, they got us in and fixed our issues. We lost 6 hours of time but we much appreciated them fitting us in and back on the road. Mark was very accommodating. Our van ran great for the trip and is still running great thanks to their efforts. Thank you Mark and crew!

So I have been going here for years never had a problem .. until I got a new car and this all changed .. I went for an oil change 4 point inspection and fluid top offs ... when I left out .. they had let my back window down which I never let down and it got jammed they refused to help get it back up because I should of told them it didn’t work when in actuality they shouldn’t be touching anything on the inside ...and the didn’t tell me until I came back after I pulled right off (3 mins apart of realizing it was not coming up ) .. fast forward I wasn’t to comfortable after I left them so I took my car to another mechanic for a tune up (the next day ) well low behold precision tore up my oil stick and glued it back down and when I called he said he would rewind the camera.. have not heard anything back not to mention I did not know they tore it up because they never told me and they glued it to my engine ... and let’s not forget they did not put any fluids in my car only oil .. SO MY LONG YEARS OF COMING HERE GIVEN THEM MY MONEY , is over with they don’t take responsibility for tearing ya stuff up and rather fix it (their way ) and not tell you !

I want to thank Precision Tune Auto Care on Garners Ferry Road for helping me in a time of need!!! My tire blew at the light getting off the interstate and I managed to roll to their facility. They told me not to worry and put my spare tire on for me with no charge. I truly thank you guys, I honestly didn’t know what to do in that moment because I was distracted by all that traffic and worried I was going to be stuck in the middle of the road 🤦‍♀️. To be honest I felt service was ok. What upsets me very much was, I explained when I gave my truck told them I have issue with my a/c unit they have charged me for diagnosis to find out it was low on freon. I told them go ahead charge me what it takes to fix. Got my truck it was still blowing hot air. The gentleman at the desk told me to bring in the morning I was there at 8am no one looked at truck until 8.50am. I was upset service person told me this is different issue not the same then why would you charge for diagnosis. I felt like wasted my time and money. Next time I will take to place I know who is going to fix my issue.

I am very pleased with my vehicle repairs, and Brad was very professional, honest, and some personable. They were closed and still worked on my car after hours, that meant a lot to me! I will be returning for business. Highly recommend.

A group of us were trying to save a kitten that had crawled up into someones vehicle undercarriage. This was at the light on the off ramp at 77 and Garners Ferry Road. There are a lot of places a kitten can hide under a car. We never could reach it. We flushed it out a couple of times only to see it go up into someone elses car. The only option we had was to have the car drive drive slowly about 1/4 mile to Precision Tune. Two of the mechanics jacked up one side and crawled under. They probably worked for 30 minutes and finally rescued the cat. One of the guys will keep it and give it a good home. Really went above and beyond. Thanks.

Edit: The issue was explained to me further and the matter was resolved. Everyone was very patient and understanding, and I would recommend this shop to anyone who needs any work done.

Went to Precision Tune on Tuesday Dec. 15, 2020 after having synthetic oil change and other maintenance requirements vehicle taken care from over two weeks ago. Chad is the supervisor that was working and over seeing things on Dec. 1, 2020; I was informed that our vehicle had what looked like a transmission leak after being in the shop @ a Nissan dealership prior to going to Precision Tune for maintenance. Chad had his staff wipe down everywhere that transmission was visible and informed me to come back in two weeks which was yesterday Dec. 15, 2020 so the news was good no leaks and what made it BETTER was that Precision Tune didnt charge for the Follow up CHECK and was done in a timely manner not even 10 a ten minute wait time; this may seem trivial to many people but for myself and My QUEEN it says a lot, so to Chad and his staff @ Precision Tune off the corner of Garners Ferry Road and Leesburg Road Kudos to this business and again to Chad with his staff.

I made an appointment for Saturday at 9am. The manager was very friendly. I received an oil change, and two replacement filters. The price was $112... shocked me! I researched the filter prices, $4-8 and I was charged $60. I was told I received a discount but by the time all of the charges were added, it was overwhelming. Im from Rock Hill, SC and have never paid more than $40 for an oil change. I will save more money driving back every three months than returning. I selected this location because of the high rating but I dont feel comfortable returning.

Precision tune installed leveling spacers on my F 150. They did a great job at a fair price. They were also very informative of what I should expect from the lift. They were great to do business with, and I will continue use them in the future.

So prior to this most recent visit (about a week ago) I had always loved this specific store because of an employee there who ran the place really well and was also a great mechanic. It doesnt seem like hes there anymore and the new guy, Brad, isnt phenomenal. Its obvious he either has too much on his plate and needs to delegate or even refuse business or hes just unable to handle the amount of traffic that comes in and out of the shop. The front desk girl, Kim doesnt really seem to exist for much other than to answer the phone and write down what you say. I asked about the promotional financing and got the deer in the headlights stare even though there is an advertisement in there. Hopefully my card was given that financing but well have to see. As far as the maintenance goes they fixed my vehicle and they did a decent job of keeping me in the loop. When it was finished (I am grateful that the A/C now works and I know it wasnt easy) the center console seemed to be put back together in a hurry and my interior was trashed. I understood how involved this job was but I expect a finished product and having to come back the next day to have the mechanic clean up the work was just annoying. He did take care of it in a timely manner and I am grateful for it. I dont think Ill be coming back here at all though and will take any future business elsewhere.

All y’all out here hyping up Chad, well I got Brad. And let me tell you: He rocks— now I did not meet Chad so I can’t speak to his qualities— but Brad literally said my brakes were scary to look at because they had worn down so much. They did a full brake service — new brake pads, new brake drums (???), and all the other things brakes need. I’m 100% clueless on cars but I know dang well that all those parts and labor would’ve cost a whole lot more elsewhere. Plus they turned it around in less than 6 hours. I won’t go anywhere else for brake service or oil change from now on!

I think the prices were a little too high and I do think places like them need a bigger waiting area when I went there they were really busy they had people inside outside but other than that they seem to be really nice and fixed my problem the prices were kind of high

This is absolutely the best place to keep your car maintained and fixed! Chad took such good care of us, when we had our Ford Explorer towed there from the Ford dealership. The dealer quoted us thousands of dollars in unneeded repairs, as they misdiagnosed the vehicle. Chad took the time and correctly diagnosed the vehicle, 2 simple sensors that were bad. He explained everything to us and answered all of our questions. We can’t recommend this place enough. Professional, Honest, quality work! We will be taking all 3 of our vehicles here from now on. Let me preface this review with the fact that I am not from South Carolina nor am i knowledgeable on the topic of cars. I was making my way back to New Jersey from SC (a 9 hour drive) when my Jeep started spraying stuff all over the passenger side floor lol. I didn’t google this place, I literally stopped at the first car place I saw & thankfully it was these guys. Not only was I in an unfamiliar place but also in a car situation that would require me to leave my car for at least 2 days- and it only took that short of a time to fix it because Chad came in on his day off to work and pressed people to get parts ASAP. Again, no idea how long it usually takes or how much it costs to fix an issue like this but it was the heater core & a blown gasket - they also replaced some little stuff (spark plugs) just because. I felt as if the price was reasonable for how quick they got it done without notice & for the extra stuff they did. Good people- very thankful! 10/10 recommend

Best place to get both my jeeps serviced at in the Columbia area. They will work at it until your car is fixed and will never turn you away like other shops in the area. They worked on my Jeep several times until they found the root of the problem. Customer service is phenomenal and the Chad is a very honest and genuine mechanic that makes you feel at peace and never pressures you to get anything your vehicle doesn’t need. Very hard to find a mechanic like him. Definitely recommend this shop 10000% to anyone who wants honest no BS service with excellent customer service. if you want a second opinion because you don’t feel a warm and fuzzy this is the shop to got to. I was traveling on I77 from Charlotte NC to Kiawah SC and experienced a strange noise coming from my vehicle. I immediately took the closest exit and caught a glimpse of a Precision Tune Auto Care and wasnt sure if they would be able to diagnose the problem.Chad took the car around the lot a few times and put it on the lift. He showed me a part that was loose and was able to use zip ties to hold the part in place until I was able to replace the clip.I was confident that the car would be safe to drive the remainder of the trip and appreciate the excellent service I received at this location.

I’m looking stunned, but the reason being...I needed a control arm first so the alignment could be done properly. I thank them again for not being slick. Best Auto Service I’ve been too! Their customer service is outstanding, they’ll treat you like a long time friend and talk to you while you wait. I went in because a dealership changed my oil, and in the process, they damaged a part or two. They immediately caught it and informed me to go to the dealership and get it fixed their since with them, it would cost me about $500 and it was the dealership’s fault so it was better to get it fixed at the Dealership. They walked me through what I had to do and what I had to keep an eye out for. They’re super military friendly and noob friendly(me.) they all we’re extremely patient, and understanding! I hope my car never breaks down again but if it does, I’ll definitely bring it here. They’re trustworthy, honest and care for your car.

The service I experienced was absolutely phenomenal! The owner stayed after hours to fix the brakes on my girlfriends car. I went to change out the brake master cylinder on my own and messed it up royally. I felt terrible knowing she dropped it off with partial brakes, and after I was done the car had no brakes at all. This experience showed with precision tune showed me two things. 1. The owner truly cares about his customers. 2. Precision tune can work magic on your car! 10/10 wonderful experience.

Precision tune really helped me and my family while traveling back home from Pennsylvania. Take 5 oil change accidentally broke my oil pan in my 2010 chevy aveo when doing an oil change. Precision tune fought to get me back on the road to Florida. They even went as far as traveling out of state to get my oil pan so I wouldnt need to be here an additional day. I would recommend this place to anyone in need of service done.

Chad and the rest of the crew are awsome. 2012 ram 5.7 hemi, diagnosed with bad cam and lifters, we called around and got quotes, them hands down beat the rest by price and time. They did the repairs , which was apparently a known issue with the hemi , and they did it fast, these guys know what they are doing. Then on top of that, got us in touch with a performance shop that could delete the mds in the computer that causes the problem .. they know there stuff and the industry..now everything we have all 8 vehicles goes to them from oil changes to major repair. THANKS CHAD AND CREW...

Honest company. I had car trouble traveling through Columbia and was lucky enough to make it off I77 into their parking lot. I was thinking throttle body issues, expensive repair, but happily they let me know it was just an engine coil. Had me back on the road in about 45 minutes.

Ive been bringing my car(s) here for over ten years. These gentlemen have always treated me well. Theyre very professional, prompt, trust-worthy and their prices are fair, which speaks volumes for auto shops. As a female customer, its easy to feel ripped off by mechanics. Never will these guys. 10/10 would come here again. The front desk lady was so sweet and kind to me and zero bullsnazz. I wanted synthetic oil in my car because Ive always thought it was the best. Its also the most expensive and most lucrative for an auto place to sell. She told me that unless my cars engine is designed to handle synthetic oil, that I was better off purchasing conventional oil. I swear that no other car place has ever told me that, they just sold me the synthetic oil without question.

The most honest and reliable auto shop period .We sold a car to our local customer who drove to Columbia from Arizona and car had a minor issue and poor lady towed the car to HUDSON HYUNDAI and they were huge ripoff and liars and told our customer that car needed $3000 worth of work and we knew car did not have any Major issue so we sent car to Precision tune auto for a second opinion and they verified that car need nothing but a simple steering angle sensor re caliber and Tom was so kind and nice and honest and told us our cost is A BIG ZERO since it was quick reset .we are in business and we know we see A honest operation and we wish they were in Arizona Big thank to Tom and is team

Went to Precision to get an Oil Change and one of the mechanics came out and told me that it needed a new air filter for $29 and a tune up and that they had a special for $45. I said okay. He gave me a few options that were a little higher but I declined. A few minutes later he came back out and tried to sell me on something else that wouldve cost an additional $130. I said no because I couldnt afford it and he left. A few minutes later they checked me out and the total came out to $216! I was confused because that didnt match up to what the mechanic told me. I spoke with the manager and he said that the special was actually $149 and that the $45 was unheard of. Turns out the price was $45 but the labor was $105!! It wouldve been nice if the mechanic told me that before it was all done! This place is a rip off and they try to scare people into thinking that your car wont make it out the parking lot without their added services. I am NEVER coming back to this place again.

My boyfriend and I are on vacation and we stopped at this location for a minor issue, that Chad was able to fix in about 3 minutes. Even though we are not from the area we recommend this business. Chad saved our vacation...THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!I brought my car in (Garners Ferry Location) for mechanical repairs after an accident. I agreed to pay for a radiator and condenser so they could complete their diagnostic, and this work was paid for ahead of time in the form of a deposit. They decided to do cosmetic work on the car before figuring out and reporting back to me what the mechanical problems were, and now will not give me back the car until I pay for the cosmetic work. They tell me the car needs a new engine and a new transmission, which will bring the total cost to more than seven thousand dollars, but they fixed the bumper and headlight and put fluids in! Their solution was for me to give them the title for the car and call it even, without them giving me back the money I already gave to them! I was clearly taken advantage of here. Never would I agree to fix a bumper before knowing if the car even works. Now I will have to take them to court. Do not use these people unless you want to get ripped off!

Precious Tune systematic defraud customers with diagnostic test. Once they diagnostic test your vehicle for service and you pay them. You drive your vehicle and the problem is not resolved. Then they run another diagnostic test again on your vehicle, the second diagnostic test you would have to pay additional fee for service twice and again for service.Precious Tune “Failed” to fix what you brought your car in service for the 1st time. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE!!You want be unsatisfied, but dissatisfy!!They are scam and a sham of black, white and Hispanic customers.

Poor management of clientele. I was told an hour tops from start to finish. However 3 customers came and went an hour after signing my vehicle in. When approached I was told only one person (the manager) could perform the job. This was after I waited an hour an a half. When I approached the manager he reported that he was within his timeframe. (At this point Im going on 2 hrs waiting) He said well I could pull your vehicle since we havent started giving the take it or leave it attitude. I asked for 10% off for being led to believe that it would only take one hour so I decided to wait versus returning to work. He said he could not take money off and again stated he could pull the vehicle. After waiting 2hrs I proceeded and he later came back saying $5 off. His demeanor was unprofessional as he stated that he was the owner and general manager. Very POOR customer service. Ps another gentleman was observed preparing the car for inspection the manager only signed off given the illusion only one could do it. Will never see my hard earned money again. They overlooked me and couldnt own up to it.
