Got here at 4:40pm seen that it was gonna be a wait but I didn’t mind. Perfection takes time. Everyone was very friendly and professional. I appreciate the hard work it took on my car. Plus it was a new guy getting trained. But they bussed their butts to get everyone in and out. I was looking everywhere to get my tint done and got recommended by two different people to come here and I don’t regret it.. thank y’all soooo much! I’m coming back for my front windshield

Was a over all good service tint job was well done. In terms of being clean they are struggling leaving residue and tint pieces over my car. Other than that they were awesome.

They don’t answer the phone and are very hard to get in contact with. I don’t understand how you run a business but don’t answer the phone when customers are calling. I have tried multiple times on different days

I took my Chevrolet Impala to see Rod at 48TintGuy! He was very professional and nice throughout the whole process. He gave me a bottle of water while I waited and allowed me to sit in my car while the service was done. The tint he put on was done properly and he made sure everything was perfect before I drove off. His team was friendly and made sure I was taken care of. The price was great and more than reasonable. Rod was training someone while he did my car and told me I could come back at any time, if I have any trouble. I was more than satisfied with my service and will only take my vehicles here for tint. Do yourself a favor and go see Rod!

Can definitely do better with the time management and scheduling. I was put on the list and told to come back in two hours and they still wasnt ready for me... Ended up waiting for an hour and then left. Rule of thumb dont bite off more than you can chew and you will have happy customers. Also the lady running the broad river store is mad rude... Running business out of her car. Terrible experience.

Was told my appointment would be at 4 via phone by Management, of which was a very courteous and nice individual. Was given a price for the services and once I got there, price changed. Different person was taking info upon arrival, in which she seemed very nice. The tint guy was hella good and by himself and busting it 💯🔥✌🏾. My issue came when I saw local friends of which it appears the person knew, of whom pulled up way after I got there, get there services in front of me. I asked of what time frame I was currently in, I was told of other individuals that came After me, was getting only a few things done, asked if she remembered what I was there for but totally forgot. No problem however I saw others arriving later than I and getting service. Just wasn’t cool ✌🏾

Rod and Ms.Brown always take care of me , they have tinted several cars for me and I have never had a issue .She will tell you if there is going to be a long wait and you have the option to leave your vehicle. Rod is the man when it comes to tinting cars . He just did my 2021 Kia K5 and my tint looks amazing . If there was an issue trust me he would fix the problem . They stand by there work so I will always be a repeat customer. Thanks again Rod and Ms.Brown for taking car of my car .

Unacceptable long wait. Stop the day before was told to be there at 10, arrived at 9:45. They were not open at the 9:30 start of business. Waited other cars pulled in BEHIND me was told they were going ahead because they had 9:30 appointments. They did not crack the garage door to start until 12:15. Totally unacceptable 😡 finally had tint done at 5:14 PM 🤬😠😡 was quoted a price the day before at $65.00 but then tried to jack it up to $100.00. As I peeked over the shoulder of the receptionist I read down the orders done that day, it seems the first to vehicles done where two SUVS which they collected $180 for then every other vehicle done sedans went for $100. It would seem they do big money first and screw previous commitments. This is the most hood run business I have ever dealt with. For Christ sakes they ran out of receipts and warranties.

This guy is a robot...did a good job..a ONE man show.

Initially sat at hot rods for 6 hours to get my windows tinted, which is the least of the issues. The next day I realized they hadn’t fixed my rubber seals back to how they should be. Went back a week later, and they could only fix the front ones(which still squeak and scratch)and told me to come back. The following weekend I came back and sat from opening 10:30 (I was here at 9:00 to beat any wait) until 1:30, when It was clear this simple little fix would take all day. Not only did they not fix my seals after doing my tint but my tint is already peeling up and bubbling, cutting my losses and going to pay a decent place to do it that’ll do it right. Do not use hot rods on broad river.

I dont give reviews but the amount of unprofessionalism they have shown, Jesus i have to warn people. Before i made an appointment i went thru the reviews first and a lot of people had time issues with them. I thought thats alright. If they take an extra hour on my car so be it. Atlas i want a good result. Well i called first to make an appointment and the girl told me its first come first serve type of place. You bring your car in and we will hook you up. Next day i got there in the afternoon and i was surprised by seeing people running around like its a flea market. Second there are no signs where the office was. After five minutes of finding the person i talked to before, she took me to a separate shed which i guess is there office ??!!! Well i told her we talked and here is my car. Then i was told i have to make an appointment. go figure y i didnt make an appointment!! Then she told me they have 9:30 AM slot open for tomorrow and i booked it. I am a very punctual guy and i dont like getting late to my appointments. I got there at 9:28 AM and they were closed . As i was 2 min early i parked my car in front of there working place and i waited. I have pictures with time stamps where Yall can see i waited till 10:45 and they were still closed. 1h and 45 min after i lost my patience and i left. There were also 6 other people in the line who had 9:30, 10:00, 10:30am appointments who were also lied too. And we all tried to call their number but it was switched off. Who turns off their business phone ?? (Unprofessional businesses)I also noticed the buisness manager on the review section responded to the reviews by making excuses like employees are new, in training, those arent scratches just soap marks, just bring your car in we will fix it etc. I wonder what his excuse gonna be for this one ! Their prices are cheap i give them that but its not worth your time.Also, SC legal tint limit is 27% , anything below it becomes a misdemeanor with a $200 ticket. And guess what they only do 20% and below. Trust me its not worth a felony , $200, unprofessionalism, and lies.Just go to a professional who will put a right % tint and will give you a life time warranty with no extra cost and no extra hassle !!!

Very dishonest customer service when they ran out of tint they promised lower price if I return and when I return back to the store they act like they dont know me. Customers complain constantly of the challenges supporting Rods black business. ROD demonstrates highly poor customer service, unethical business orientation and degrading accredability. He uses profanity at his customers and struggles with maintaining committed employees. He is the owner and was currently the only tinter. Rod you can reference anything about me which exemplifies your professionalism and lack of integrity. Your reviews of me is no different from what the community and internet addresses of your background history, illegal activity and your trade/dl activity with the LGBTQ community. Customers I was conversing with were complaining returning customers for repairs of previous unsatisfied work. I was quoted $200 and saved $50 to allow the shop to do overlays. Price should never have anything to do with professional services any entity provides. The price is good but the value is unacceptably poor. The shop practices removing tint incorrectly according to research and they will damage your defrost lines. I made an appointment three days in advance and awaited 7 hours as Rod took 3 customers in front of me. I was the first car at the shop at 815 am for a 830 appointment.Rod never arrived to begin work until after 10am being the only tinter. Rod operates as if giving you 20.00 or 40.00 is justifiable of his unprofessional actions. Hes a poor example of a father and entrepreneur. He will never have to worry about me returning and futurity I recommend when you want better you do better and just pay for what you want, there are other shops, spectacle tinting, Capital Tinting, the flea Market etc. Rods poor services identify with his cheap pricing. I dont wish bad on anyone, Rod will do it to his self and he talking about selling cars.....smh, best wishes and remain blessed.

My appointment was 2 o’clock they are let me wait to 6 o’clock I was waiting for four hours for only tent and the service was very bed 😡😡😡

Got here at 4:30pm and had to come back bc 2 windows was not done properly. I am still here and it’s 10:02pm. I had an 5:30, thought I’ll come extra early bc I knew it would take them a while. I did not know it would be this long. But if you want cheap this is what we get.

The tinter didnt clean my car windows after they were tinted. I had fingerprint smudges and residue everywhere I mean for $175 come on and he didnt give me the correct tint, word to the wise please check the tint level before leaving this establishment

Ive used this place for 5 previous vehicles. My latest vehicle looks terrible. Bubbling after one day. Did not clean windows before application, dirt under the film. Owner melted a piece of my trim, which he did say he would replace, but I never received a phone call. Used to be a good value but this is without a doubt the worst tint job I have ever received not to mention how slow it was. lifetime warranty on a $100 tint job is not worth 6 hours of waiting I have a 2 other vehicles that I need tinted but I believe I will shop around again

The end product is magnificent but the length of time it took to get to it is beyond comprehension. I dropped my car off at about 1030am and they did not finish with it until 730pm. There were cars that showed up after me that he decided to finish first. I work in customer service so I try to be very understanding but the amount of time it took was entirely too long. In their defense, there was only one gentleman tinting and I would think they would scale back on the amount of customers he takes since he is going at it alone. Also, maybe a first in first out method. Nine hours is too long. From what the young lady told me they are not as busy during the week so if you decide to go, dont go on the weekend.

If you want to be disappointed, GO HERE! I asked for the earliest appt which is 9:30 “supposedly”, got there a little before 9:30, just to read on Google that they don’t open until 10:30. So I sat and waited 3 whole hours and still no type of service is being started on any car! A young lady did acknowledge me about my appt but NOTHING changed and I left!

I’ve had 3 cars tinted by them before, there is an expected wait time so don’t expect to be here for only an hour but when it’s done you’ll love it and never have any issues with the tint, and if you did it’s covered with the lifetime warranty!!!! You can’t rush perfection!! The quality is worth the wait time

These mfs move entirely slow . Appointment been at 5:00 and I didnt leave til closing Excessive stopping in between work . Didnt even clean prep windows before applying the tint .... GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE poor work ethics go to We Window Tint On farrow rd between the 555 cause these mfs slack.

Perfection is worth waiting for. I had an appointment, arrived on time, was given 4 different finished by times throughout the day and it took longer than expected HOWEVER... I brought in a used/new to me van with horrible DIY tint job. They had to scrape remove the goop the previous owner used then clean and tint it correctly. But..its Perfect, Im Patient & Happy and it comes with a WARRANTY that even covers broken windows. Ive had 4 cars done by this Gentleman since the early 2000s and all have been perfect. Highly Recommend! ... even if you have to wait a while.

She quickly helped me with knowing the different tint percentages , and helped me quickly GET MY TINT DONE AND SHE SCRAPED MY WHOLE CAR I was from out of town and the type of customer service she showed made my day I was really having a bad day. The ONLY reason why I gave them one star is because I have to. They’re so unprofessional. I got my windows tinted and had to go back to them because my rear view window had so many bubbles that it was hard for me to see out of it. They open at 9:30am and that’s what time I got there. I waited patiently along with 6 other customers. I ended up leaving at 10:20am because no one ever showed up. Terrible business! Now I have to go and find someone who can fix their mistake. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Had an appointment at 4:30pm, they started on the car a little after 10pm. Never again.

The next day l reviewed the job done because it was nearly dark when they tinted my windows. I discovered I had tint film left on and inside my vehicle. There are scratches and bubbles in my tint (rear and passenger window). Look like a rushed job.

Got their for my appointment at 11am, they didn’t do it then so 20$ Uber down the drain, so I waited another hour and a half from 2-3:30 and they kept telling me it would be done in 30 minutes and it was gonna get started ASAP but they never even started, they also never answer calls so you have to go to see if your car is done or not. Would NOT RECOMMEND.

I made an appointment for 3:30 , when I arrive there the young lady i spoke to told me the different tint percentage that they had available . I was going to get something lighter but she convince me to get something a little darker which i did and glad i did. It turn out nice. The young man that did my car kept a conversation with letting me know that he wasn’t trying to rush my car. He took his time on it and i love it. I will continue to come back

You will wait all day. No exaggeration, like at least 5-6 hours. Bring a chair and some snacks and all the patience you can muster. They have no building for you to sit in and lack customer service skills. You just show up and hope that you get serviced. Then if they don’t do a great job and you have bubbles, they make you go through the whole awful experience again including the wait time. They don’t care about their customers.We arrived at 12pm and at 8:30pm they still had not touched our vehicle. Again, this is after they had made an error with their installation!! Terrible company! Awful customer service! Avoid at all cost!!!

48 Window Tinting did an excellent on my vehicle. They had excellent customer service. Me and my girlfriend was comfortable. The receptionist made sure to communicate with us. I had to be work at 3 and i got out within the hour i been there. Thanks 48 Window Tinting.

First review deleted. My experience with this company was absolutely terrible. I called around 4:30pm and was told the price would be $50 for what I wanted and that I could be seen at 6:30pm. When I arrived, right on time, I wasnt greeted for several minutes until I sought out an employee, which was hard because they dont wear any type of uniform at all. A woman comes over to my vehicle and begins trying to raise the price, telling me that the little print on the bottom corner needs to be removed or its going to bubble out and peel, and that it will be ten dollars per window to remove and its going to cost $85. I told her that i was quoted $50 over the phone. She said well, let me talk to the owner., as if they were doing me some sort of favor. Im aware that $50 is a pretty good price for two front windows and the strip across the windshield, which is why I accepted the quote and scheduled the appointment, agreeing to the price. First off, dont quote me one price on the phone and then try to up it once I get there. I ended up allowing her to haggle just a little, up to $55 with the agreement that they would take off the small print too, which never happened. I was made to pay before services were rendered. Secondly, I drove half hour just to get to the business. Why schedule an appointment if it literally means nothing? When I got there I asked how long it was going to take, and she said it should take 45 min to an hour and a half. I waited 4 hours before I finally decided to interrupt them working to ask how much longer it was going to take before the even started my vehicle. The employee said Oh, I can get you in after I finish this moon roof. . There was no line, or number system, or anything to tell you how many vehicles were in front of you. Nothing. That is a garbage system. It seemed like whoever was able to squeeze in their car after one was finished, that car got to go next. Once they FINALLY began my vehicle, it didnt take but a half hour before they were finished. As soon as they finished they told me that I needed to move my vehicle IMMEDIATELY so they could start the next. I attempted to ask if they were going to clean off the windows, because they had left the solution that is used to apply the tint streaked all over every surface of my vehicle. The woman interrupted my question to speak over me to tell me not to wash the windows for 48 hours. I KNOW THAT. Not the first time Ive gotten my windows tinted. So now I am forced to drive home, in the dark, with solution streaked all over my windshield and door windows. Not only is it annoying and trashy, but it is unsafe to drive with the windows as they were left. When I got home, I decided to pull out a flashlight and look at the damage. They were in such a hurry to get to the next vehicle that they did a terrible job on mine. The tint is in the right place, but because of the manner that it was applied, there are scratches ALL OVER the tint. In 48 hours, when I am allowed to wash the windows, THE SCRATCHES ARENT GOING TO WASH OFF! Jeez guys. I could not be more displeased with the service that I received. I have no idea how this business is rated at 4.2 stars. What a joke. (IN RESPONSE, NO, the stuff on the windows is not only soap, it is definitely scratched. Thats why its still there nearly a month later. Carless application.)

Horrible. I have been trying to get my truck windows tented for 4 days. Someone needs to show him how to run a business. Told me it would be an hour so I waited an hour and a half. Went and asked if I was next because I seen 2 cars go ahead of me that just pulled in and he said I still had 4 people ahead of me. Watched two more cars pull in and drive right into the shop with no wait at all. I guess he operates on the buddy system not running a business

I brought my 2013 Malibu to Hot Rod. I made an appointment for 10:30. The receptionist led me and my girlfriend to the waiting room. The receptionist made sure we was comfortable while we waited on the workers to come in. They did an outstanding job on my car

I didn’t mind the waiting due to the lady working the customer service part, I seen that the owner was the only one working today. This place is not suitable to be open. They do poor work when it come a to putting the car parts back on. Plus they play music like its at the club. Then he let his employees do what they want to. They do not open on time, they said we open at 9:30 but open at 10, to 10:30. If they make a mistake, they talk bad to their costumers. They have this girl that took my girlfriend keys out her car, because she couldnt find her cell phone. I would pay the extra money to go somewhere else. This is one reason why I dont support all black own business. If I a to deal with this company Ill just do without.

They instal the tint correctly and the price is reasonable.. I made the mistake of not leaving my car and waited several hours... the workers definetly keep you occupied and you can also tell the owner is well known in the neighborhood... I called the day before getting my tent done. The lady was well respectful and so nice. When I got there the next morning they treated me like family. They tented my windows so fast. I was like i hope there isnt any bubbles and it wasnt. I was so happy. They also helped me with a problem I had with my car and didnt charge me. 5 stars.

This is the 2nd experience I have had here & both times have been awful. The amount of time it took was unprofessional. Ive been here since 9am (1st customer). Business is suppose to open @ 9:30. Anyone that knows what they were doing didnt show up until 10:30. It is now 1:50 and they are NOT finished with my sons car yet. Come on now it doesnt have 50 windows in it. Even for the price I wont come back again. VERY SLACK!

The owner is very good when it comes to tinting. 2nd car that I got tint from them and no bubbles after 2 years. My appt was at 8PM which they close at 9, got to my car at 8:30, was done by 9:30. Excellent service.

First off let me say I called before I came say that I was driving from charlotte spoke to rod he told me hed be tinting until 8:30. When I got there it was many cars before me so I knew Id have to wait. Expect to wait. He is that good! He went over and beyond for me. I had just bought my Honda Accord a couple weeks ago. They snatched my tint off left tint glue and didnt even mention to me they did. He made sure all the old tent was off and still offered me a warranty. What would have took him a 35 minutes or so probably took 1 and a 1/2 but he treated me like an amazing customer explained the situation and took care of it. Excellent place to get tint. Would refer anybody. Hands down! Very satisfied.

Great prices and great service.This is a super busy tint shop..It take on average to tint a car so,If you visit a tint shop and see 20 cars you should expect a wait period.The guy are actually fast to tint 20 to 25 carsEvery day. My sister and I both went there at 1pm. The staff was very professional and very helpful. They answered all questions that my sister and I both had without hesitation or irritation. This is the second time that I have had my windows done with them and the only tint shop that my sister has ever done business with. The prices are unbeatable as well.Definitely a 5 star business. I would recommend them to anybody.. oh and I traveled all the way from GA just to have my windows done by them.

Friendly and they did a fantastic job, no bubbles. About half the price of everybody else. Look forward to getting my other car done.

Rod is a true example of a brother. He did an amazing job on my firebird and has no problem fixing any inconveniences or issues that may arise with his work. It’s hard to find someone who takes as much pride in the quality of his work and is truly return customer based like Rod.

Horrible service by far the worst I’ve ever had I called to schedule an appointment and was told that they didn’t do any appointments so decided to be here before they opened. All employees were two hours late and once they arrived they allowed not 1 not 2 but 3 cars go ahead of me even with my name on the list first and was told one of them had a appointment also no building for you to wait in this place is very unprofessional and wouldn’t recommend wasting your time

Brought a 2020 Altima to get windows tinted. Tint applied to windows has scratches on it. Tint bubbled up on drivers door. Tint is cut poorly on multiple doors. Left trash in my car, Fingerprints on all the windows, and resedue from applicator on all my door panels. I had to detail a brand new car.You get what you pay for. Pay for quality elsewhere.

I got my Camro tinted a few hours ago. I was a walk in. I spoke with a young lady who explained the whole process of getting tint. This is my first car so i didn’t know the legal and not legal. They got me in and out. I believe she told me the owner did mine. I wasn’t there longer than an hour. He got me in and out.

Got my windows tinted and they did a good job. Dropped off my vehicle at 2:30 and picked it up at 7:10pm. Only thing I didnt like is that I cant see out of back window due solution on it that will not wipe away. Great customer service 👍👌 but weird smell in my car and solution is on my doors but love the work. #15percentdark.

I came yesterday waited 4 hours for headlights and taillight tent...okay so they say its windy they dont feel comfortable doing it.. okay understandable could of told me this 4 hours ago but coool. Employe says come early tomorrow when we ope i got you. Never happened

Koray, Mil, Courtney is a great group of people. Very friendly, made me feel at home. Theyre and great group of ppl, very professional and awesome at what they do. I reccomend this place if you want your windows tinted..
