A better option than convenience stores and large grocery stores when just buying a few staples, as it has a decent selection and prices are quite competitive. Knock-off brands are common but overall quality is decent. Moving purchased items from register to packing area is clumsy. Would be nice to have an express checkout for 10 or fewer items

I only get certain things from Aldis but this is the only one I go to. Clean and a variety of products.

The lines are long and they rush you through checkout like livestock but they save you a ton of money. Also its very close to the Cub in St Anthony so I can easily find cheaper alternatives at Aldi and then finish at cub for the items I couldnt find.

I have shopped other Aldi stores and this one is the cleanest & most organized. Staff is personable, highly professional & caring.

This Aldi is on point; great selection of produce, surprising deals on home goods and a decent selection of Gluten Free options. They even have a steady and rotating selection of reasonably price and adorable flowers that are a nice touch. This locations staff have always been pleasant and respectful.

Not bad, kinda busy on a Tuesday at 2. Really well stocked. Like per usual with Aldis, only 2 cashiers. I had their light on, one had their light off. The 1 line was getting long and the cashier with her light off, said she was opening. Of course the people at the back of the line jumped in, in front of the people who had been waiting longer. This has happened numerous times, I wish the cashier would at least direct and specifically call the NEXT people in line so people arent line jumping.

For a grocery store this one isnt bad. Of course always busy, but the employees try to get you in and out quickly with as much customer service as you need. Theyre not rude or rushed, so for an Aldis this one is pretty good. The one downside is the selection and quality of the items. Other Aldis stores are sometimes better.

Small but effective store. Great prices, store brand products are generally excellent, fast checkout except during the evening rush, great return policy. An alternate version of Trader Joes if you didnt know.

More spacious than other Aldi stores Ive been to. The cashier was very cordial and the store itself seemed well-stocked.

The stores have most of what I need to nourish myself and at very good prices. The quality is excellent and they stand behind the product they carry. I no longer need the conventional grocery store for much of anything. I do shop at specialty food stores to get other things that are not stocked at Aldi.

Got to have a quarter to get a shopping cart! It keeps the grocery carts in the stalls outside the store or busy getting filled within Aldy store...unless someone is in a hurry and leaves the cart out! We got the cart adding another quarter into the tray inside the car.Arrows painted or stuck on the floors with the other decals stamped 6 apart. Bread aisle then cereal...milk is cheaper than the name brand store from outside Minnesota.Bring your bags and unload the shopping cart..either take it to the stall and clip on the chain to get the .25 back..or trade the cart. To the person who just hopped out of her, for her quarter!

This is one of the smaller locations so stock can be limited.

I dont know why youre looking reviews for Aldi, but theyre great, period, and the folks at Columbia Heights are friendly and helpful. Just remember to bring your quarter.

Social distancing is up to you as a shopper, and staff has placed large stickers on the floor to encourage a specific directional flow as one walks the aisles. The check out lanes lacked safety dividers and the belts were not being sanitized between transactions when I was there last. They do have sanitizing wipes for carts.

Lets just say in the last month weve been to Super Target, Hyvee, and one of the new Cubs in Blaine that looks like a Kowalskis. Aldi has stepped up and basically destroyed the grocery game. Completely. Game over. One caveat is that their fresh produce is still up and coming, but we belong to Harmony Valley CSA, so were at an advantage. Everything else, from meat, to deli meats, to organic milk and eggs, to toiletries, bath, ziplocks, spices, frz pizzas, etc etc. Even napkins and batteries.You know that feeling when you want through Cub youre super careful because you know you might be getting hosed for a 400% margin on freaking ear drops? Lol not at Aldi. Just walk through, and throw anything you need into your cart, cause you know dang well that its at least $1 off if not 50% off all the other places.Yep. Were big fans now. For the 5 things they dont carry well hit Trader Joes or just splurge and go to the Co-op. The normal weekly grocery bill that runs around $110-125 at Super Target is $55 here. I have the dang picture to proof it. Thats all folks. Check out the rest of the pictures if youre not convinced.Note: Aldi has their quirks. Here are tips:1) bring a quarter for their carts, which youll get back on the return trip. Thats how they get you to return their carts so they dont have to have cart boys in the lot!2) bring your own bags, or be prepared to buy them at the checkout lane for $0.10. Trust me the $0.40 you spend on bags you just saved like 10x that. So dont let that keep you from going;3) ambience is like a small neighborhood store, not the big box. Think Trader Joes but a little smaller;4) produce is buy now eat now or within 3 days. Plan accordingly;5) they do have a lot of organic selections. You just need to look at the price labels on the shelves;6) organic produce selection is by season. So dont expect organic tomatoes in the winter. You dig?7) again anything you dont find here go to their cousin store Trader Joes!

Food selection is great! And I love the hot bar! Would be five stars if not for the service from some if the women who work the coffee and smoothie counter. The guys are cool though. Management is super responsive to customer concerns.

ALDI cant be beat in terms of prices, but you do get what you pay for. The produce doesnt seem to last long in the fridge compared to other grocery stores. Id recommend eating fresh stuff as soon as possible (fruit especially) otherwise itll go bad fast. BYOB (bring your own box) is a neat concept.

This place is for singles and people who live alone ...lol not for your family weekly meals the tastes are a little off but growing up this place was it...now that im an adult i tried it and lets just leave it for the younger ones i mean you grow outta aldis at sum point. Dont get me wrong ill come grab sum common emergency last min preps from here but not full blown grocery shopping ...NO BAGS

Only one register was open today, lines were nuts! This is why $15 minimum wage is necessary. You wanna wait forever to buy 2 items while people potentially shedding CoVID wear their masks wrong....fail to pay frontline workers a living wage. Aldis a better paying employer than most and still we wait....

Some of the staff here is pretty cool. Some of them do act like they have a stick shoved some where. But over all I do recommend shopping here. Its clean and safe. And they do follow the COVID-19 guidelines.

We have visited a few different Aldis locations, and this one is similar to the others, with a mix of name brand and house brand products and produce all at pretty good prices. Small note: this one either kept or reinstated the quarter needed to use a cart that the others seem to have dropped after COVID-19 started.

This Aldi is nice. Go on off hours for the fastest zip through the store for essential items. I havent ever had to wait very long though even during peak times.

I love Aldi. I have been going to this one since it opened. The people that work there know their stuff are very friendly and helpful. I like going here mainly because of the prices but also, I love that their product assortments are not things you find at other stores. You never know what new things will show up!

This Aldi is a small store, which I really like. The downside is that it doesnt have as much variety as a bigger store, but it is so easy to manage. Staff immediately take care of any complaint you might have with no hassles. I really like it.

Ive been shopping here for over 2 years and they never disappoint. Im really digging the new layout.

Great prices. Some name brands, but, for the most part, assorted interesting brands. Good quality. Store is easy to navigate. Product is shelved somewhat randomly, but you will find everything you are looking for. Great produce. Free parking. Check out is a tad anxiety producing, as there is no place to load at the end of the check out lane. There is a counter nearby, but getting your items over there is problematic. Staff is fairly non- existent, the checkout clerks are nice. They get to sit!! Very humane. Bring your own bags. You pay for use of carts and any grocery bags you need. They accept credit cards now.

Great prices here and never have to wait too long in line. The selection is a little limited but only compared to larger grocery stores. Nice gluten free options and some organic produce.

First time to an Aldi.. not sure what I expected but more choices for products would be a start. kind of a 1 option place with good prices.

Aldi is basically unbeatable on produce pricing. They would be a five star store but unfortunately they do not carry a full grocery selection. No fresh herbs, few name brand items, baking is missing key items (vanilla), few vegetarian alternatives, etc. So every week it is fresh stuff here and regular items at Cub or Target. Bring a quarter so that you can use a cart. Bring bags so that you dont have to buy them.

The Aldi in Columbia Heights is generally well stocked and clean. Selection is obviously more limited than larger grocery stores but prices are definitely better and the Aldi brands are good!

My first time here and I will be back again soon. There is a good assortment of produce that I like, and there are meats in the cooler if you like that.

Love shopping at Aldis, get 6 bags of groceries for less than Cub or any other chain of stores. Get more bang for your buck. Bring your own bags, and a quarter for a grocery cart, youll get your quarter back. Great selection of fruit, veggies, and meats. Also has seasonal items, and household, got to watch flyers. The items like cereal, coffee, snacks, crackers, chips, milk, eggs, yogurt- are much cheaper here! Even toiletry items are much cheaper than any other store, also has cat and dog food!

Its great, I always enjoy the shopping experience and the staff are always stocking and kept busy also very courteous. When the lines get long they dont hesitate to ask their guests to line up in another lane or two because an associate will be there to check them out quickly and efficiently. Good job staff!
