Told me I don’t need new tires for a while. No bs up selling. When I DO need new tires I know where I’m going to get them. This location. Excellent work!

I thought I had two nails in my tires, need them to be repaired and needed a tire rotation. They did a good job and informed me that all my tires were good the nails didnt puncture through. The checked all tires for leaks for safety and even replaced a falty sensor. The customer service that Stephen and the employees at discount tires was great. I would recommend coming here for tire issues you may have.

Excellent service and you can tell they work hard here. Everyone I’ve spoken to has been extremely helpful and knowledgeable. My tires are getting up there in age and they’ve repaired two of them for free and never pushed me to buy new tires, they just make friendly recommendations which I truly appreciate. Hoping to get a new car soon and when I do need new tires I’m definitely coming here! I do recommend an appointment if possible, makes things much quicker and easier.

My absolute favorite store for anything related to my tires. Ive been using Discount Tires for years and through several cars. I always receive exceptional service whenever I visit this Columbia Heights location. Theyve been there for me through the pandemic, getting my tires switched out and all TPMS sensors replaced. I always feel like my concerns are adequately addressed whenever I leave and Im grateful to have a store like this so close to me.

I stopped by discount tire at about 5:20 pm because my tire had a slow leak. I felt bad about showing up at the end of the day. Nathan was helping the guy infront of me when I got there and I was impressed with his hustle and friendly demeanor. Then he checked out my tires and gave me an accurate estimate on how long it would take. He was incredibly nice to me and everyone else there. He hustled around juggling everything like he ran the place. I hope he infact does because he is excellent at customer service. Youll put the guy in charge if youre smart. Thanks for your help with my repair today; I look forward to buying my next set of tires from you.

Brought my car in for a balance and rotated today. Got the car done in 20 minutes, awesome! Noticed the tech was a little shaken up, didn’t think anything of it. Got home and realized they didn’t balance the tires, still has old weights on. Also noticed the bumper was severely damaged like they hit a pole or another object. I drove down and told the employee what happened. He denied it right off the bat and said it happened in the parking lot by another customer. I asked if they have cameras, he told me no... I was parked next to a curb/median on the side that was damaged away from other vehicles. He said all they can do is submit a claim. Okay fine, I get it, protocol. I asked can you at least balance my tires like you originally said you were going too. He replied it will be another 2 hours. I will never use discount tire again. I will discourage everyone I know or talk to about them.Follow up:The manager call and apologized for the mishap, two days later, Discount Tires Claims department contacted me. I had to get a estimate done on my vehicle and sent off to them. I did receive a check for the damage. I changed my rating to 3 stars for them making it right.

I bought tires here and have been happy. When I brought them in for the free rotation, as I sat in the waiting area, I was impressed with the friendliness of staff and cleanliness of the waiting room. Nathan was great and truly was concerned with customer satisfaction. Thank you!

I have been a client of Discount Tire for about 10 years now. The staff is always helpful, and with an appointment they can usually get the job done very quickly. At some point in the season it can get very busy, and the lines can get long. I recommend an appointment if you’re going in to buy new tires or get service.

I had appt. Arrived 10 minutes early, checked in. The sales person told me 45 minutes, then 35 later told 5 more minutes and 20 minutes later I told the person in the front I was told 5 minutes and that was 15 later. All and all over one hour and fifteen minutes later I finally got my car. What is the sense of having appointment when they just working on your car to work on someone else car.

Came in without an appointment for a tire that kept losing air. They found a nail and plugged my tire, was in and out in under an hour. Everyone was super nice, helpful and answered all my questions.

Discount tire stands behind their product and their customers, been going to them for years for quantity work. Came in a few days ago with a bad valve stem and asked for a repair, expected to pay $25 to have it fixed. Guess what, since I was a loyal customer they fixed it for FREE even though it wasnt their work. Just wanted to say thanks guys, I appreciate you.

Hung up my disability tag, and staff came out to my car. Flat was not repairable, and they gave me clear choices and reasonable prices. Worked in my emergency repair in 90 minutes even though they were busy. Nice people.

Horrible, I set an appt for 230 and over a half hour late they just got to my car....I told them I had another appt at 330 so if it was gonna be a problem they should have told me so I could have rescheduled....Now Im still sitting here and I wont make my next appt...The complete disregard for someones time is ridiculous, and this isnt the first time theyve taken forever and a day....smdh..NEVER AGAIN!

Alexander Brassard at the Columbia Heights location was amazing. I was originally calling to get information regarding what he knew about getting a smaller tire as I was in the parking lot about to purchase tires at a distribution center in town but he was so genuine on the phone and said he would love to earn my business that he could match the competitions price as well as install same day, which was huge for me because I wasn’t leaving the area until I could find someone to install immediately because my current tires weren’t doing well with the current snow fall that day so overall he not only gave me great feedback before making a decision on tires he was able to match the competitions price, he kept me informed every step of the way and most of all he was confident- in his execution of getting my (specific tires I wanted) delivered to the store that day and installed all within 3hrs of them closing!AMAZING SERVICE! And the guys upfront are very nice and hardworking!

My tires were perfectly fine 2 weeks ago. But I found out I needed some valve stems replaced due to aluminum caps causing corrosion. So I went to the Brooklyn park store. They didnt balance the tires correctly the first time. So I went back a 2nd time. And still my tires were out of balance. So I tried this location to balance my tires, and they did it. My tires are now perfectly balanced. 5 stars for great customer service and excellent work.

Came in for a tire rotation and ended up needing new tires. The associate was extremely knowledgeable and they installed the tires in less time than expected.

This discount tire is very quick to listen to customer input and is careful about making sure they get everything right. There was a misunderstanding and speaking with Nate not only took care of it, but made me feel very respected and that my business was very valued. Its very busy this time of year so make sure to call ahead to see that they have appointments. Nate is the best, will be coming back to this location in the future!

Very friendly staff. Everyone is masked. Masks are provides to customers walking in without one. I have been getting all season tires and winter tires from this location for many years. Prices are good. Tire rotations are free. If you buy winter tires with the wheel they do swap outs for free. Prior to the pandemic I would go hang out at the Starbucks across the street.

TIRE SERVICE IS TERRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. They changed my set of tires 5 months ago with brand new ones I bought from them. Tires quality looked good but I didn’t feel any discount in price since they name their shop “Discount Tire”. 2 stars is for the terrible service as I got new tires with missing sealing and air leakage every week. One of tires pin was missing lid! I had to pay extra $144 for the dealership to fix it.

Discount Tire offered to beat their all in price by $40 if we returned the tires and went with them and they would install same day. This was a no brainer. Called to see how much it would be to mount and balance 4 tires talked to Alex, very rude from the start questioning why I didnt buy my tires there I asked him how much it would and he arrogantly said $200 since I purchased the tires else were. I knew from the start of the quote he was over charging me I used to work for discount tires and know dang well they dont charge that much. So I told him Id pass and called the discount tires in Maplewood the lady I spoke with was very nice and quoted me at $90 dollars for all 4 mounted and balanced. I dont know what the deal is with this place if they are scamming people or what it is. They need to be checked.

Salesman tried to sell me on additional parts that I didn’t want or need, mechanics rushed the job which in turn broke some wheel studs. Which is gonna cost me more time and money. Only reason I came to get work done is because I can’t do it at home and needed it done at the moment. Go to a more trusted shop.

I like Discount tires been yes of cool service because Phil is a great help, but jus today I left my car over nite n came back to a broke and no one know who did it or seemed to care n at some point said my battery died 🤔 so Im like wouldve been great if someone called n told me this so Id had my spare key n got the battery b4 handle with my help so it costed my day n my ride to get my car n no 1 owned up to my broke key smh.. they fixed my tire which was great of course over all Ill figure it out better n see how tomorrow go my key still broke no key place was open so I guess n I changed my battery n car started right up n I EASILY KINDA USED THE KEY FIXED N TURN SMOOTHLY N I LEFT IT ALONE SO HOW MY KEY BREAK? NO ANSWER FROM THEM SO I GUESS LOL.. TOMORROW... I JUS ASK WHO EVER DID THIS TELL THE MANAGER SO THE CUSTOMER CAN TRY AND SAVE THIER DAY NEXTIME I HAD THINGS TO DO.

Urgent is my 4th car that I brought here is the service the employees are nice helpfully.

We have always loved Discount Tire and go there for all of our tire-related needs - BUT - the place is a SPREADER VENUE. I was the only non-employee who was wearing my mask properly, if at all, when I was there yesterday.Sticking solely to outside service until this pandemic is over.

Dropped my car off to get a set of tires installed. My window regulator had failed requiring me to take the door apart. The interior panel was removed when I dropped the car off. They told me it would be fine, the techs could still open the door and there wouldnt be any issues. When I came to pick up my car, my door was broken. The tech had pulled on something they shouldnt have and got it stuck in the locked position. The manager (Danny) apologized and told me the repairs would be paid for. It took a couple weeks to get the estimate and repair done, thankfully I had a spare car to use in the meantime. They did pay for the repair, as the manager told me. I will get work done here again, but I would hesitate to bring on a vehicle that needs special attention. It means a lot that the manager followed through on fixing what happened. I would recommend purchasing tires from this location.

Do not shop here, as i went in to check my tpms for my tire pressure and they told me that 3 of my sensors werent working and needed to be replaced, and that if i got them there it would be 60$ a piece so 180$ in total for parts, and plus labor, so i went to carmax after that as i got warrenty for that, come to find out all my sensors work, they tried scamming me over 180$ just imagine how many other people they scam here as wellWould not recommend this place, go to another shop not this one as there lieing pieces of $#!T

If you are visiting Columbia Heights Location. Dont ever bother making appointments. Appointments dont work with them. First come serve. Its 3rd time it happen to me. First-time when i was going to purchase tire for one of my vehicle and 2nd time when i was going to purchase tires for a fleet and today i had appointments to blance and rotate tires. And they wont help me. It dont matter if i have a appointments or not. Have to get in line and wait my turn. And its big waiting line out to parking lot.

I was under the expectation we could get our tires installed from the car, as it states on the website and I was affirmed by the phone. No go. Either wait inside or around the property. 110% recommend this place. Ive been coming to this place for years and Ive never had a bad experience with them. Theyre always friendly and willing to help and make sure to set expectations on how long youll wait before they begin. If you do need to wait a while, theres a target, Starbucks, menards, etc. within walking distance.About the service itself, all tires come with free rotations and theyll fill them up for free anytime you need and the have pretty solid prices from my little knowledge of tire prices.
