Military Commissary are great. But always a hassle at check out. Great prices.

I loved this store, But specifically I really liked this guy named Jake at the deli section. He was super friendly and very helpful he really deserves a raise or something for his good work. Hopefully a manager or something sees this. Keep up the good work jake!

This commissary seems to have products that Fort Carson commissary dont have. German bread and cheese, seafood and much more. I Will definitely go 10 miles out of the way just to shop here.

I like it. Easy to find things, wish there were a bakery and fresh fish but its Colorado baking at 6k+ elevation aint easy and fish in the middle of the country is never fresh soooo... Whatda gonna do. Other than that, its great and everyone is always friendly.

Pretty good as far as commissaries go. Not all of the food is cheaper than out in town but most of it is, fyi. Usually not that busy.

The shelves arent as full as they should. Prices are starting to be better in the local community. Normally not to crowded in the middle of the day.

The commissary is exactly what you would expect...hit or miss. Over the last few years we have had only minor issues with staff, products, or facilities. Meat tends to be cheaper in both price and quality, same goes for produce.

It was busy as usual for a weekend day, but everything was moving along efficiently. There were some bare shelves, but its almost Memorial Day and folks are shopping for cookouts and parties now that things are getting back to a semi normal state. Who doesnt love that? Ill cut some slack for that any day! =)

If you go early enough in the morning, its not too packed. My three biggest complaints are:1) Fruifs and vegetables ripen/ rot quickly2) Not enough organic produce3) I wish the commissary was able to sell local/ regional stuff.

Im a caregiver and I took my client to purchase some food and in my own opinion I think the commissary is extremely expensive.The store needs a deep cleaning, I was so surprised to see how messy and dirty it was.

If you want to get your meds at person air base. Best time is 1st thing in the morning never in the afternoon.

Lot of good food at a reasonable price.

Produce is great, the deli is awesome, and the store is well maintained. I love shopping here.

The Commissary carries a wide variety of foods from all over the world reflecting the diversity of the military community.

Clean and fairly well-stocked. But prices are higher than they used to be.

Didnt have the items I wanted. Got some unfriendly workers.

Good grocery store. Coupons placed near products for easy discounts.

Always the best place to get the groceries you need.Our Familys #1 place to shop for our food weekly.

One of the Newer nicer commissary out there

I would leave a 5/5 star but theres this rude lady thats always there named COLLEEN. Its been multiple times going there where shes given my wife and I attitude for no reason. Fussing at us telling us NO, GO BACK AND GET IN LINE and getting mad at us because she couldnt find the price for an item. Other than that, the commissary here is really nice.

Great variety of essential and non-essential items customer service is good I had no problems.

They have many item stacked in 3 different places. Like mixed nuts. Street taco flour tortillas we way in the back while I was looking for them with all the other tortillas. They also dont have enough electric mobile shopping carts because they cant be plugged in long enough NOT to die halfway thru the store. Variety was good.

Only active duty or retired military personnel can use. The shelfs are better stocked than out in town

Found everything I needed quickly. Normally go to Ft. Carson.

The store is nice and clean but the selection isnt as big.

I mean its a commissary haha. Not bad as far as commissaries in general go. The lines can get pretty bad sometimes.The meat is so unbelievably cheap, and this store carries most of the grocery items you would get at Walmary/King Soopers/Safeway/ETC. The produce here is of good quality but lacks variety.Important to note that you need base access to shop here, and if you are not using the self checkout it is expected that you have a cash tip for a bagger.

Produce ,like lettuce vegetables are no good,and so are the meat i will not buy there.And you got to watch the expiration on everything ,seems close to expiration on most items.

Friendly and helpful and there prices are fair!

They often run out of certain items, but, overall, this is a good commissary. They just got new self-checkout machines, which is a plus.

Things easy to find employees and baggers very nice and polite ( teenagers girls )

I love the fact that everything is always stocked and the variety never fails.

It was not to busy the cashier was fast and nice the baggers great,they where out of paper bags which was bad I hate plastic.

Not tiny, but not too huge of a commissary....

Decent prices and helpful staff.

This week I brought my kids in and we were shopping peacefully and I asked this older lady who said she was a store manager where my daughters favorite apples were and she rolled her eyes and told me to find someone who knows because she didn’t. She said it so nasty my daughter started to cry it was a horrible experience I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Nice place with fair prices, lines seem to go crazy for 5 minutes and then drop off and its empty shortly after just sort of the luck of the draw, if it was closer to my house I would shop here more often

Peterson Commissary is usually great, but because of COVID19 the pickings are slim especially the meats. Other than that facility is clean the workers are very accommodating.

It was my first stop for groceries and to my surprise I found everything I needed. They serve the military very well.

Friendly service, mostly clean, and well organized. However, I find it concerning when prices for our soldiers continue to rise. Many items in the commissary are no longer a bargain. This is most noticable in the produce department and in the deli. It seems prices here, just like in the BX, are catering to the officers and not the Junior enlisted as it should be. $138 used to buy a shopping cart full of food. Today, it purchased four bags of food and we were not able to purchase healthier items due to cost! Many items can be purchased off base for the same price or lower. And though the service charge is not tagged as such, it is nothing more than a 10%+ tax on our food this making the commissary an overpriced, low quality store. Our service members deserve better.

Almost as bad as the USAFA commissary. After every trip we need to shop at King Soopers or Walmart to get all the items the commissary doesnt have.

Military with common sense

Love going to this commissary. My husband is Army, but we live closer to Peterson. It’s never crowded when I go, even the weekends.

Great commissary, Great Staff. But the meat is unpalatable. Not sure if its old or even beef; definitely not goid.

Awesome selection of different kinds of food at great prices. The fruits and vegetables are not of the highest quality or have the best prices and that’s my reason for the four star rating. The location is nice on Peterson Air Force Base on the south side of Colorado Springs.

They closed the commissary for active only between 9 and 10. I get it BUT advertise it!!!! Well done....bunch of old people lined up outside waiting. Pffffft

New BX and commissary. Located on the back side of Peterson AFB. Hadnt been back here for 35 years and the base has been changed so much I got lost several times. More trees and all the buildings have been updated and upgraded. Beautiful base!

Very dice and clean store, produce dept looks amazing.

Good, affordable. Produce could be better and the baggers are kind of pushy about tips. I am aware now thats there only pay, but the signs informing people of that should be more visible for the shoppers.

This is a new facility right next to the BX on the east side of the runway. Prices, especially for meat are good, and most other items are at least comparable to the rest of the city. Lots of kiosks and shops in the mall it shares with BX. Large food court, Starbucks, and barber shop to name a few.

Its okay just another store they dont go out of there way to help and are super rude

Very affordable meat and carbohydrates. Dairy, veggies, fruit, housewares, nuts etc are usually slightly more expensive than Walmart. Good variety of foreign foods. Shopping here does contribute to the mwr fund... Star card is accepted which lets me churn points for gift cards.

Large selection of products and mostly lower prices. Great bargain prices on most items. No tax, but there is a surcharge. Decent selection of Vegan items too.

Friendly cashiers great baggers. Havent had any bad experiences a great place to shop.

Always have a good variety. Always has fantastic prices compared to the outside. Just always feel that they need more cashiers too many Baggers not enough cashiers. And thank you very very very much for having 800 coffee back in stock.

Very big right next to the bx

I visit this store with my Godmother often. They are nice & clean. They have a wide variety of selections to choose from. The staff is always very helpful! I have never went there and not been able to find what i was looking for!

I’ve always enjoyed this commissary over the other ones in town. It’s less crowded and the people are more polite than most grocery stores.

I like Peterson Commissary because it a very nice place to go shopping. And you cant beat the deal and Special. 👍

Commissary was coming off its inventory and the shelves were a little bare - not unexpected. Patrons and staff were all IAW rules for COVID.

Ive bagged my own groceries twice at this place now while probably 10 employees sat and watched. Quality customer service....
