From the initial call, to the estimator, to the replacement all members of their team were professional and friendly. A great group of folks that took care our concern and were ALWAYS ON TIME. I hired Glass Guru to install new shower doors and to remove old mirrors. The timing was important due to other remodeling activities. Glass Guru was very accommodating with my schedule and the work was completed during the time frame I needed. The install process went perfectly, the installers were very helpful and professional and my new shower doors are beautiful. Glass Guru replaced a kitchen bay window that had a broken seal causing the window to fog over. They did a great job of replacing the window and competitive price. It is great to see out the window again. Definitely will recommend and will use again when necessary.

After doing my due diligence, I decided to use Glass guru as the company to install my new glass shower door. Their prices were significantly less then some of the larger glass companies that I received quotes from. When they came out to install the glass door, the installers pointed out to me that there was a significant scratch in a very prominent place in the door. They told me that they would install the scratched door for now and would order me a new door. Two weeks later they called and said the new door was in and they would come out and install it. The workers both times were very professional and friendly. each time workers came to the house, they always showed up early to be on time for appointments. I strongly recommend this company for your glass needs. I will use them for any other glass that I need in my house.

Had a measure tech come for a quote. He was prompt, called when on the way, and professional.Took a few days for their supplier to get back on the glass price, but other than that everything is going well and should have a repaired door soon.

Needed a rounded cut piece of glass to replace one from the door. The kids broke the original horsing around. Didnt need it fast. The new glass fits great and was on the upper end of reasonably priced. I do recommend them based on my experience with the staff and the quality of results.

Beware future customers!!!!! -Terrible craftsmanship! - Horrible customer services! I have hired them to install a frameless shower enclosure. They have customized glass panels incorrectly and decided to cover up their mistakes by applying copious amounts of silicone between ceiling/walls and the glass. I am talking about 3/4 inches of silicone thickness in some areas. IT LOOKS HIDEOUS!!!! -Photos posted for all to see.-The owner is refusing to correct the mistakes. He is demanding that I pay the remaining amount for their “shoddy” work. He is also threatening to file a “Mechanic’s lien” on my house. Despicable!!!!

After on-site estimate, we contracted to have a large pet door installed in our sliding glass patio door. Installation technicians were on-time, competent and professional. While this system looks and works well, it is not inexpensive.

I had my shower door installed yesterday and the crew that came in to do the work was absolutely wonderful. They did an amazing job and I was very pleased with the work they did. However, I would not use this company again due to their lack of communication.I had my estimate done on 11/30/20 and while they did send their initial quote right away, it took them over a week to make the changes that I had originally requested. I had asked for a slightly shorter door and the quote that was sent over was for the larger door. My husband and I left several voice-mail messages and he sent an email. We heard nothing back until Dec 7th. We went ahead with the project and we were told that it would be 10 days for the door to come in. I sent an email to them 4 weeks later because I had not heard from them to schedulean install date and I recieved a reply stating they would call the manufacturer and get back to me. Two days later, I email the company again and they told me that there had been delays due to COVID which is understandable but they did not inform me of the delays. I am them told that the door would be in on 1/14/21. My husband called on 1/19 because again, we were not informed of anything and he was told that the door had come in and in installation date was set up. What was supposed to take 10 days, took over 7 weeks to complete. Delays are understandable but communicate that to your customers so they are not left wondering if the job will get done or if they lost their deposit due to shady practices.

The estimates are free, then I paid for the glass, when it came in they installed it. Good prices I am reordering more glass that is needed now. No hassle.

Great customer service. I came in with a steel framed window that I had accidentally broke the glass, and before even giving me a price quote, they said it would cost me too much to repair it. When I had offered to do the hard labor portion (removing the clay) the associate said thatll work. I turned it in yesterday and was able to pick it up today (however, I was told it needs to dry more so be careful). Awesome service here, I will definitely come back again next time I do something stupid.

We had to have the front window of our home replaced. Some teenagers threw a large rock and we were getting no help from any of the other glass companies. Some told us 16 weeks out! My wife called Glass Guru and it was unlike any of the other company’s. My wife spoke with Paige and she couldn’t have been more helpful or sincere. They did everything they could do to help us have the process expedited. Our quote was done very fast and professional for window and install (also way less than we thought). Eric did a fabulous job for us this week! Our shower has been used for 13 years and Ive never been able to properly clean the glass. Eric made it look like new! He scrubbed for hours, worked very hard and we are very pleased with the results. I *highly* recommend!

Estimator came out as scheduled and spent an hour carefully measuring everything. Said he would email me the quote within a few days. Waited 2 weeks and called the office, (nothing in the system). They said they would check with the estimator. Waited another couple weeks & called again and got the same story. Got busy with other projects and didnt follow up for another month. Called again and received the same story. I confirmed my email address and said I was getting tired of waiting and expected something from them soon. No call back, no email, no explanation. If you cant do a job, have the courtesy to let the customer know. You wasted 3 months of my time!

I made numerous call about a glass shower door for a manufactured home. You would think that I asked them to build the Hubbel telescope. No one could help me due to the unique size and dimensions. I called Michelle after doing a google search and spoke with her. I then went by last Friday to Glass Guru and met with Eric Helus the owner and man they made it easy. He assured me he could make it and there you go. Done finally!Really appreciate their help and professional approach.

I saw some of the bad reviews on here and was a little skeptical, but I decided to have them replace one of the double paned windows in my living room. The estimator that came and looked at the window was very professional and took the time to explain every step of the process to me. Beyond that he came prepared with booties to wear in my house, although I didnt expect him to do that, the respect and customer service that that shows is leaps and bounds above what I have experienced with any other contractors that I have worked with. They also provided me with an in home estimate as well as an ON TIME appointment for the install. These guys are the best, dont let the bad reviews fool you, I will be using them for all of my glass needs!

A good, honest company that I would definitely do business with again. Two other companies told me no problem to install a frameless shower door. Only Glass Guru told me it would be unsafe to install the door without sufficient backing in the wall behind the hinges to hold the weight and ensure it wouldn’t fall out. The other two companies totally blew off my concerns. Glass Guru’s concern for the quality of their work and the safety of my family is true professionalism.

The owner came by to give me an estimate and repaired my windows on the spot for a fair price. He was a pleasant gentleman and did good work. Recommended.

Overall, were really not happy with our service from Glass Guru. The windows are fine and we have no issues with them, but the service technicians performance did not meet expectations. They smashed all of our old windows out, leaving glass shards all over our house and outside our house that were still finding, even a month after the installation and its been very dangerous. My husband and I have both stepped on shards of glass with our bare feet, even weeks after installation. It was only after my husband suggested that they move our furnishings and thick rug before the technicians bothered to take some time to ensure that glass pieces would not be all over our house and stuck in our furniture and rugs. They did not clean up after themselves after making a huge mess. Also, they put a hole in our wall. I called Stephanie to ask her about repairing the hole in the wall and she said I should get a call back soon. That was weeks ago and still, no one has contacted me. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience and I dont recommend this company to others. The prices were low, but for a reason.

Their price was slightly less expensive than the others we contacted, but we chose them because they said the work would be done faster than the rest. That was a joke. They told me, once hired, that the windows would be installed in about 6-7 weeks. It actually took a little over 3 months to get five windows installed. Three of the windows are installed fine, but two of them jut out of the frame to the point that they protrude an inch or more from the side of the house. One of those is right by the front door so I have to see it every time I come home, ugh. Plus on those two there is caulk smeared all over the place and they look terrible. I wish I could post pictures of them here because if you saw them you would never hire these people.After this review appeared on Homeadvisor, the owner replied on website that he was open to a conversation about it. After two messages on his voicemail I never heard from him.

Buyer beware! This is one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had with a company that is local and supposed to care for its customers.Asked for an emergency repair of a window that was broken and some estimates on window replacements. I was put about 2 weeks out no problem. Taped it off and waited. When that time came the person was not ready to repair it and I was told to wait another 2 weeks. All they were interested in was giving quotes out for window replacements. And still waiting for that days later!

They did a good job installing our windows. The only thing is, Im fairly surprised at how much broken glass they left on our floors both times they were here. After their first visit I got a nice sized glass splinter in my foot because they dropped one of the old windows. Now theyve left again and Im finding glass shards everywhere, bathroom, living room carpet, bedrooms.

I fully expected to give these guys a solid review when I initially booked their service to replace a window in our home. But, they ordered the wrong glass which meant it took more than a week longer for them to finish the job.They offered no discount or apology. Instead, when I asked about it, they offered a bottle of window cleaner OR 15% off a future service. Eric told me that the reason is because they had lost their profit margin. There will not be a future service, of course, since they chose to penalize me for their mistake. A simple 10% would have created a loyal customer, but now I will go elsewhere.

Apparently this company isnt too fond of tenents, because I was swore at and hung up on today by a gentleman named Jeff. I had an appointment to install the window that took them 6 months to order. They show up only to reschedule and extend the period that my window will be letting in cold air due to it being broken. They said they caulked it so it wont fall out, but what about the cold winter air coming in? I guess I should have told them that I run a construction company myself, and if this were my employees I would have fired them! I still have not received a call back saying when they are going to be able to install this window. Not so sure about this company after Jeff told me that I can pick up the window and do it myself... Which I can do, and probably faster too.

Glass Guru installed a very large front window in my home to replace an older single pane window almost a year ago. Before the install we had to insulate the wimdow in the winter to keep the cold out. Glass Guru installed the new window quickly and for a great price. We are so pleased with the new window and our reduced heating bill. The service we recieved was amazing. We got updates and reminders every step along the way, the installers were great too. Very professional and even instructed us on how to care for the new window to make our investment last. Will definently be using them to replace the rest of our windows!

Absolutely horrible business! DO NOT USE THEM EVER!!! USE CITY GLASS Co. They paid us no attention because we were a small job so in my opinion they cannot handle larger projects. Gave them a small square table top glass to duplicate. At first ignored us for several weeks we had to go in to finally be notified they do not have the glass in stock and had to order it. They said the job was complete one day then went to shop and said they have never heard of my work-order, very disorganized. Called and left messages with no reply, their business hours are a lie, they come and go as they please so dont count on them being there. USE CITY GLASS Co. much better service!!

I am giving this 1 star bc I cant give it zero. I talked to someone they said I can come and get a mirror cut it will only take a few minutes. I came in she said there was no one in shop to cut mirror they would have it cut by afternoon. She texted me. Not called. TEXTED saying it wasnt done would be done before they left in evening and it will be ready in morning. Then it turned into it wont be cut till morning and Ive yet to hear from them. They are ignoring my text and phone calls. So I took my business else where and the mirror is almost 30 dollars cheaper where I am going now.

Horrible business they do not pay attention to small projects! I requested to replace some glass pannels for two windows,but it took almost 2 months for them to complete the job. We kept calling to check what was going on with our job order, but they always told us that the order for the glass was in backorder. Finally, they replaced the 2 windows panels glass, but they did not vacuumed the area where they were working, and I cut myself with a piece of glass they left on the carpet.

Poor quality of work! Go somewhere else.
