We have been going there for years and have been well served by Kim. After today’s experience we will not return. “The guy with the beard” commented to another customer within my husband’s hearing that my husband’s taste in beer was cheap and he is just an employee of the zoo.

I have been going to this establishment for about three years now. The customer service is top-notch. Whether you need help picking a beer, wine, or spirit, someone on staff can help. Moreover, you are never presented or pressured (unless asked) into buying the expensive stuff. This a wonderful family-owned business with some of the best people working it. If you’re in the neighborhood, stop in. It’s wonderful.

My go to for wine! Friendly informative staff.

Stopped here yesterday and had a very negative COVID-19 related experience. Employees wear masks but have them pulled down around their neck not covering mouth or nose. Then a customer at the cash register next to mine released a very strong sneeze in my direction, making no attempt to cover his mouth. He was not wearing a mask. If this business really cares about its customers, employees need to wear their masks properly and customers without masks shouldnt be allowed to enter.

This place is such a nice little place. Has all the Staples of a liquor store and a great selection of wines too. The staff is also just amazing. They make jokes every time Ive gone in and will poke fun at me (in very good taste) and it will just turn my day absolutely around. Would go to this place solely if I lived by it. But anytime Im downtown, this is the only liquor store I go to.

The lady who checked me out was really friendly and helpful the first time I shopped here. The second time however, I was checked out by a pretty unfriendly guy who called me an idiot for not knowing the total when he never said it. Id reccomend just going to Cheyenne trail liquors up the road a bit.

I come here about once a week. I love the staff and the selection. Everyone is very friendly and full of character. And I especially appreciate that they put stickers on wine labels to indicate which ones are vegan.

My boyfriend and I live this place. Its right across from our apartments, the staff knows us pretty well. When my boyfriend and I move out of our apartment, well still come here. Staff is awesome, friendly, helpful but are an acquired taste. If you dont like spunk, sarcasm, or like to talk, then dont come here.

Staff are friendly and willing to help. Prices are a bit higher than you would find elsewhere. Selection is large and varied, though you might not find what you would expect to see in a typical Alcohol Store.

One of the two best shops in the City, the other being Coaltrains. Sovereignty Wines carries everything, and Ivars, the principal owner of the place, gives the best recommendations available anywhere on all manner of liquors--from fine Bourbons and Scotches, to beer, wine and liquors. He actually color codes his wines for such features as Organic, Sustainable, No Sulfites, and other factors. He has never given me a bum steer yet, and I have been doing business here for over 20 years.

This place has always been out of the Twilight Zone of Highschool hate since the 90s. If they had a hot guy, or good looking Woman or NICE CREW, theyd prob make some serious $$money. They STARE at you w/ hate coming in the door, & their attitude is HATE. for any question that you may ask. & i dont dress badly & they dont know me, Ive been driving out of my way for decades to avoid them.
