Had a very good first time experience with Mike Maroone VW service. Service advisor Jessica was personable, professional, knowledgeable and attentive. My repairs were done on time and most of all correctly. I was advised upfront and shown pictures of my vehicles issues along with their itemized repair costs as well as some suggested maintenance. The showroom and customer waiting area was also clean and comfortable. Again an overall pleasant experience.

We worked with Tyler and had a fantastic sales experience. There was no high pressure. They were super friendly, zero pressure and very good about recognizing what we needed vs what we came in for. They worked to get the payment where we needed to be regardless of if it was new or used. Misty in finance was wonderful! She was able to get us the extended coverage to help us out and still keep the payment in our needed range. She even came after hours on her way home to drop off our garage door openers we left in the trades! They didn’t add any covid fees like other dealers around town and beyond which made us feel comfortable and like we were doing honest business. The sales manager was also very helpful in looking at options that were able to be ordered vs in transit to the dealer already to help us decide which was the right option for us. Top notch service!!!!!!!!

Location, location, location! I really do like this car dealership due to its Top Location, it’s fantastic Customer Service ( Specifically to mention is glorious Ashley. I am always so happy when She is taking care of all my services needed with her artistic style, calm voice and pleasantly talkative and knowledgeable business manners. ) It is chill to sit in their colorful waiting room, enjoying some sweets from their Vending Machine, refilling your water, using the bathroom or/and talking to the tech support, staff and other customers in their waiting area. Everyone is very nice and accommodating out there. Your car is in good hands with them and for emergency (replacement) vehicle-transport is also provided. I am a happy client of theirs. :0)

I took my car in to get an oil change as it was due for one and although I have the equipment to change the oil myself, I was not able to due to being busy as we just moved to the area. The service department changed my oil and the process took 6 hours-price was absurd for multiple reasons. A few days go by and I started noticing oil drops underneath my car. Despite busy schedule I jack the car up at home late after work. The oil plug was hanging by one thread-not even remotely tightened. The VW computer still says my level is OK. I drain it completely-only 2 Liters came out-The Touareg is supposed to hold 8+ Liters. Not only did I pay a huge price for an oil change but at that low of oil level they probably did some serious damage to my car. Lesson learned-Dont buy a car that doesnt have a dipstick.

My wife and I were coming out to CS from the Midwest for a week of work. We have been in the market for a newer GTI for the last year, and were planning on waiting for the 2022 Mk8 to come out and test drive. During the trip we happened to pull up (online) that Maroone had a 2021 in the correct setup we were looking for... so we reached out and talked with Jordan, who prepped it for us and sent us updated info via texts while we were still out of town.After test driving, we needed to run through our budget and confirm what we could afford. Jordan, was patient and flexible with our extra questions... which made our process much easier. Once we had decided to purchase the GTI, he broke down the process of warranty and payment options for us. He then introduced us to Jem in financial, who took the time to detail other warranty options. After the purchase we decided on an extension option for our warranty, and Jem was able to process this without us having to come back into the office.This was the first newer car I had ever purchased from a dealership, and both Jordan and Jem made the experience straight forward and fun. The extra steps they took made our decision that much easier, and I would highly recommend that if you are in the market for a new VW, please put them high on your list to visit.Thank you both again for your help.

Decent folk that run the place. But like any dealership they are out for money, first and foremost. They backed my brand new Jetta into a truck on their lot, prior to me even getting my hands on it. They offered a loaner car free of charge while they fix mine on site. They have given me periodical updates, but unfortunately, refused to take any money off of the loan.

The price on the window is fair when compared to other VW dealerships in town and the salesman were both easy to work with, and not pushy. Great culture for a car dealership to have. I recently purchased a 2022 Tiguan R Line Black. My sales man was Jordan. My husband and I have purchased over 25 vehicles in the last 16 years. WE LOVE CARS! Our experience with Jordan was by far the best of all our purchases from anywhere. He was/is so knowledgeable. Not just VW. He knows so much about the insides, outsides, engines, comparisons, ratings, recalls of all kinds of vehicles, etc., etc., etc…. If/When I purchase another vehicle, I will be checking with him 1st. Car stopped working less than a month in despite them taking an extra week to service it. They gave me the wrong towing company, and my appointment got missed because they LOST MY KEYS and had the nerve to blame the towing company. Nobody bothered to call me about this. Ill update on how fixing my car and pricing goes.Update:I have heavily edited my review specifically due to great customer service as well as a speedy repair that I was not charged for. Jason handled everything very promptly and dealt with my frustrations and I am very grateful to him. I still think the communication between workers isnt ideal, and I was given a few wrong answers, but overall Im pleased with how well this was handled.

He has no agenda other than finding the right fit for what we needed and ensuring that all points in the process were understood, comfortable, and seamless. We feel like our needs were heard and understood which is so important. My husband and I have never had a more pleasant experience buying vehicles individually or as a family. I went here the other day to get my serpentine belt changed and they gave me a $6,000 list of recommendations. They told me I needed a coolant flush. There isnt recommended flushing Intervals on a 2012 TDI passat. VWs own literature says just check and fill every 40k. I then asked them to test it to see if it was bad and it came back fine. I know it would because I got it changed 20k miles ago when I had the water pump and timing belt changed. They said I needed to change my fuel filter, I literally just had it changed. They said my control arms where completely detached. Yeah...no there not. Haha. They said I needed a new timing belt, I had it changed 20k miles ago. These are only some of the items on their list. What a joke. If you dont know if a filter, fluid belt, etc has been changed dont lie and say they need it. Just put unknown age, etc. Dont put it in red on your service report and say immediate attention. This is scare tactics. This is wrong.

And when they contacted me to tell me they actually did need the lein release, they acted like I didnt know what it was. I explained that I tried to give them the lein release and they said no you brought us the title, we need the lein release. Im like, yeah...thats why I tried to give it to you in the first place...because apparently Im more familiar with these documents than the sales associates are

ZERO STARSTook 2011 Tiquan (78,000 miles) in for oil change, tire rotation, and check windshield wipers rubbing wrong (to much play in arm).Wife calls me at work and sent me the notice she received for $8700 in emergency NEEDed repairs from their courtesy inspection. Apparently car has 4 oil leaks in different spots, coolant leak and needs all new linkage for windshield wipers.We have not noticed any oil or coolant leaks in driveway and have never needed to add coolant. the oil was low (thus taking it in).if a VW has that many leaks at 78K miles then never buy that car again.Today i fixed the windshield wipers linkage and it cost me about an hour of my time and $0. A real mechanic should have seen issue in under 5 minutes. a slip ring had slid out of the groove holding the wiper arm in place. It snapped right back in, no parts and no major labor. Just took me that long to figure it out because i am not trained. They wanted $1100 for that repair.I truly believe there service department is being told to come up with these type of repair quotes to generate customers for the sales department ; why spend 8700 when you can get a brand new one . Then they can give you terrible trade in offer well you trade isnt worth much since it needs 8700 in repairs).UGH. NOT an honest place to do business. will never set foot in there again. SERVICE or SALES . and probably will never buy a VW product again.

This dealership doesnt mess around, the price they list is the price you get and sometimes even less. The staff there is super friendly and have helped me purchase a car twice. My car was stolen and driven to empty, when recovered it took Mike Maroone 5 weeks just to get and change the key and lock cylinders. Fist they ordered the wrong part and the wait time from Germany, I understand the wait but 3weeks is a bit much. I asked if they could put just a little gas in it so I wound not run out on the way the get more. Was finally called that it was ready, drove from were we live now which is out of state 6 hours away, no gas I guess they forgot was told they didn’t have keys to the pump. Drove to get gas and return the rental and found the car play would not connect went back took them a good three hours the figure out how to rest it. They had to call tech support in Germany again. And now 1 year old car smells like they left the windows open in the rain. Nice service people though.

Where to start! Jessica and the technicians at did such a good job. They really stuck it to the extended Warranty people when it came to getting my Rabbit back up and running! Even though it took a while for parts to come in, Jessica was great and keeping me in the loop, and there hasnt been a problem since. Shameless rip-off of a stealership. Their service department seriously overbills. They quoted me 5.5 hours of labor for a job that the book lists at 1.5 hours. On top of this, they wanted 4 times the list price of the parts. Don’t fall for this rip-off. You can use digital resources to look up how many hours should be billed for specific repair procedures. Go somewhere else if it is unreasonable. Have been dealt with fairly in the past for parts, did management change???

I have a golf GTI that had a sunroof leak, that was part of a recall. There is a class action lawsuit against Volkswagen for 2015-2017 for this issue. I took the car to Mike Maroone when it was under warranty and they couldnt find the leak, even though I showed them picture of it leaking. So I went back later again to show them it was leaking, they said it was no longer under warranty. They would not take responsibility for the last time I took it in. So they want to charge me $3,000 to $4,000. I looked up the problem in google and there was a Volkswagen Technical Bulletin which described the problem and how to fix it for under $600. Incompetent!!!!!!!!

We ended up working with Cody Rainwater on a fluke, but it was totally meant to be. Cody is very honest and straight forward. He made the car buying process simple for us. We didn’t even have to haggle. He got us close to the invoice price and took care of us with the finance department. They also grounded my Lexus lease with 5 months left and gave me a wash so that I didn’t lose money. Cody is not pushy... I would happily work with Cody a million times over again. TLDR: Tyler provided an exceptional sales experience, the best that Ive ever had (10 cumulative between my wife and I) , and continued to provide excellent support after the sale.My wife and I recently moved to Colorado, and with a baby on the way decided that it was in out best interest to trade in her Porsche Cayenne for something a little more practical. After months of research of what would make the most sense for us, we landed on a 2021 VW Atlas SEL Premium. It checked all of the boxes aside from the fact that it wasnt a Porsche. There was some hesitation on my wifes part - she loved that car... but I talked her into going to VW to look at one, and thats where Tyler came in. We met with him on January 15, told him that we were just looking, but she was very particular on what she wanted: colors, interiors, etc. Fast forward over two months of correspondence with Tyler, seeing what they had in stock and what was available for dealer trade, my wife getting a bit more lenient in her interior and exterior color options, we finally found one in stock that was satisfactory to her. We went in to the showroom on March 6 to crunch a few numbers with absolutely no intention of buying. I was very open with Tyler on how my wife had been bait-and-switched in her last couple of car buying experiences, and this time I was along with her to make sure that didnt happen. Any signs of trickery and we were gone. He was very understanding - and took this information in stride. While numbers were crunching in the background, he was out on the lot with us, patiently explaining every feature as we listed them off of the window sticker, making sure that we knew what we were getting and that there were no surprises to be had. Im not sure if he spends his lunch break in these cars running through features - but he might... When we came back in, we were approved for incredibly low financing, our trade-in was valued at a number satisfactory to us, and before we knew it, we were signing paperwork. What was a two-month process of uncertainty and looking for what was just right, on a day that we had no intention of pulling the trigger, turned into an easy and effortless transaction. I cannot commend Tyler enough for his diligence throughout the process. We were happy and we were confident in our purchase. The only hiccup (if you can call it that, the issue was resolved by the Mike Maroone team without even a blink) - we had to wait a couple of days to pick up the vehicle as it was transferred to the facility, we were provided a brand new loaner of the same trim package so that we could familiarize ourselves with the vehicle while we wait on ours. When we wanted to get some aftermarket tint installed prior to picking up our purchased vehicle, Tyler coordinated everything so that it was ready to go when we arrived. Major kudos to Tyler, everyone go buy a car from him.

I have purchased vehicles at 5 different dealerships in the Colorado Springs area over the past few years, and recently (the end of october) the 5th purchase was a used VW beetle from Mike Maroone VW.The purchase itself was a 4 out of 5. The reason for a 4 was due to the fact that they had lost the 2nd fob for the vehicle, and after waiting around for about an hour for them to locate it, they told us theyll call when it was located and we could drive the 45 minutes back to pick it up. Well.... no call was ever received. The GPS wasnt working either, and they couldnt get it up and running with 2 different memory cards..... again we would have to bring it back...After a few days, the vehicle was eventually driven after dark, and we noticed the headlights were a little out of aim. I didnt call on this issue since it is an extremely minor issue and i can handle it myself with a screwdriver after dark. This being my daughters car, and me being in and out of surgery appointments with the VA I havent aimed the lights. Bad Dad ... I Know!Well here we are 2 1/2 months later and the EPC light on the dash comes on, so I call the service department to schedule an appointment. They got the vehicle in within 2 days which is average, and we let them know about All the issues, The EPC light, GPS, headlights out of whack, and the drivers window sounds like a injured cat in cold weather while rolling it down. All these were covered under warranty due to the vehicle having only 9k miles and just over a year old... at least that is what I was told at the time I made the appointment.My Daughter brought the Beetle to the service department this morning at 9:30 am and they said it would take several hours, so she got a ride from her boyfriend back to the house and waited. At 3:18 pm I recieved the following standard (I assume) text;After inspecting your vehicle, Mike Maroone Volkswagen North Colorado Springs recommends additional services be completed.To review the inspection and approve the recommendations, click: .......Reply STOP to unsubscribeJan 17, 2019 2:17:28 PM PSTThe click:.... had an address, which I clicked and found a summary of the requested service.(Pic #1) all adding up to 0.00.... except at the bottom.... $130.00 to adjust the headlights.WHAT? ..... well I called the service department and inquired. Apparently the aiming of the headlights isnt under warranty after 12 months.Even though we purchased an extended warranty .... so I told them i will aim the headlights, and this was Completely Unacceptable, and not good customer care. Yes i was aggravated, and let them know I was disappointed..... but Ill get over it.Then I found the digital receipt.(Pic #2)Not only did they want to charge $130.00 to aim a headlight.... they charged me $19.95 for a COURTESY WASH.... something I didnt ask for... that is labeled a COURTESY .... In pic #1 it was $0.00.... in pic #2 it grew to a courteous $19.95.My daughter just got home from picking up the Beetle.1. The window still screams....2. They said the EPC Light wasnt on when checked.... so they did nothing about that...3. The service tech said the lights looked like they were aligned when checked... But they wanted to charge me $130.00 to fix them.4. Still no 2nd FOB.This took them just under 6 Hours. To put the right SD card in the GPS... and look at the headlights.I am 50 years young.... and have experienced a LOT of service departments over the years, literally from coast to coast, and I can say this one has left a stain....

We visited in February and spent an hour waiting to look at an Atlas and didnt even get to touch it much less test drive it. Cody was very dismissive of our needs and made us feel like we were prejudged upon walking in. He even spent 20 minutes talking to another sales rep in the foyer instead of getting the keys for the Atlas like he said he would. And when we were getting back in our car after he finally went outside, he asked if we were leaving and when we said we were, he just said a curt goodbye and didnt offer to stay in touch. We had a much better experience at Bob Penkus VW and I would recommend you go there instead of Mike Maroone if you want a VW.

I didnt feel like the service personnel knew my VW Passat. It was difficult to determine which maintenance were manufacturer recommended service interval items and which ones were optional. The service rep wasnt able to provide info in this regard in order for me to make an informed decision. After getting the service done, I noticed that the DEF fluid had been spilled in my trunk and residue was on the side of the trunk and on the mat. I would have expected that this was cleaned up. I didnt feel like the service reps valued the VW brand or the dealership. I didnt feel like a valued customer.

Jordan Butterfield was great! I typically hate buying cars but my experience with Jordan was smooth, easy, and hassle free. He and his General Manager were reasonable and didnt employ and obnoxious sales methods. We just worked towards a mutually beneficial deal. The worst VW service center in the state. Rude unknowledgable technicians! Iam stuck going to this dealership when iam in the springs & cannot make it to Denver. Everytime I go appt. or not it always takes about 6 hours. Tire change, oil change ..engine overhaul 6 hours. Everytime I leave my EPC light comes on resulting in some over priced sensor replacement. Pure shadiness!

(Former master mechanic) I took my 2015 TDI passat in for a scheduled oil change and DEF top off Feb of 2021. Apparently 2 hours is normal to remove a drain plug and change a filter. The tech spilled exhaust fluid all over my trunk and did a very poor job of cleaning it up if he even tried (stuff is nasty and horrible design on VWs part for the location.) And lastly did not reset my oil light. (All things I can do myself but paid extra for the service to be done)Last time I pay for an oil change and exhaust fluid at dealer cost. Ill be saving tons of time and money doing it in my garage. As a former tech I would have been fired if a scheduled oil change took that long. Ill give 2 stars for respectfull and friendly staff and clean facilities.
