We Made a reservation to see cat boy with my kiddos this past Wednesday my sister recommend this place to us, unfortunately cat boy never showed. It was a bummer, however my experience at the pop shop was still great! it was our first time, Our waitress Morgan was such a sweetheart! Truly I have never had a waitress as amazing as she was! and the food was great! The pop shop knows what it is doing as far as staff and food! Only downfall was the character not showing.
The employees were very nice and the atmosphere was casual. I ordered one of the April menu specials, a cheeseburger with grilled cheese sandwiches for buns. A mad idea, but honestly it was good. Could use a stronger acidic flavor to cut through the cheese, but the onions and pickles helped. The fries were amazingly crispy and well seasoned too! Overall, I really enjoyed myself from the food to the people.
The most delicious grilled cheeses ever! I also love playing trivia here. Also, they have great ice cream sundaes! Friendly staff and fun environment!
This would have been my first time there since the new owners. We walked in… we were seated right away. The host did not give my two kids crayons and hats (fine, I thought it was because of COVID). Our waiter looked so confused as to what life even was so right off the bat I’m annoyed. He brings our drinks out pretty fast. Which he then assumed we were ready to order. I told him to give us a minute. He came back 20 min later after my husband practically waved him down and my kids were tearing up the place. He attempts to take our order and literally has no clue what is on their own menu! He’s asking us what our food is. After ordering with him for 5 min. We continue to wait then see another family get seated and give their kids crayons and hats. So like any other normal child my kids start freaking out that they want hats. My husband goes up to the host and asks for hats. We sat and colored for another 30 MINUTES after that. Then started to notice people around us that sat wellllll after us were getting their food. Then I see panic in my waiters face and he’s talking to another server. They’re pointing at our table and clearly talking about us. (They were by the computer where they put orders in) I then go up to the host the only one who had a sense of anything in the building and ask him to check on our food. At this point my kids are FREAKING out. And we decided to leave. I can guarantee we will not be back here and I will not recommend this place to anyone. We ended up at McDonald’s and my kids were beyond happy. Lesson learned.

We came here at The Pop Shop after waiting for 45 minutes + at another breakfast serving restaurant nearby. I’m so happy that we stopped in. We were seated immediately and the menu was vegetarian friendly! My mother in law and I are vegetarians so having a menu that has many vegetarian options is a huge plus! We sat outside and the atmosphere was fantastic. Our waiter Anthony was so kind and thorough. My mother in law is very picky when it comes to food and usually when we order, something isn’t right. Anthony perfected our orders (he was also so delightful through our many changes) and now this will be our new brunch restaurant. Thank you Anthony and to the staff at the Pop Shop!
Very high quality classic diner food. Great place to get take-out; my order was ready to pickup when I got there and I did not have to wait at all. Highly recommend Laurel Grilled Cheese or Buffalo Blue Chicken Sandwich. Portion sizes are generous.
The cinnamon bun french toast was awesome and the service was great. The seating can use some updating and kids are yelling the whole time. Other than that its great.

Its not easy for small businesses and especially restaurants to quickly rebound from precovid times. Our recent visit showed heart, determination, customer service and FUN continues to thrive here. I want to also call out the many older teens working here- they are especially amazing with there customer service, smiles are contagious and I feel like these kiddos have so much to offer! Thank you for making a four year old feel so special!

Been waiting very impatiently for this little gold mine to re open! My server, Gretta, is just as sweet as can be and EVERYTHING on the menu is creative, delicious and enough for me to have 2 meals lol. Heres a photo of why theyre the best. Great food and milkshakes. We went for my daughters real birthday despite her party on Saturday just to acknowledge her actual day. Also located in one of my favorite areas in S Jersey. Beautiful!

This was the first time Ive been to Pops in years, and it was just as good as I remember. The food menu is slightly pared back from what it used to be (I imagine as a result of COVID), but still plenty of great options (though I didnt see the buffalo tofu as an appetizer, it was so good!). Treat yourself and get a milkshake too!
Food was good, waiter was nice. They did forget our silverware but they brought it out after we got our food and asked for it. We were seated in the back which didnt have booths so the seats were a little uncomfortable. Place needs more combos that allow you to have french toast, eggs, and meat of choice.
This place is the best. Dont forget to sign up for their birthday Club because you will get a free meal on your birthday. Their menu is printed one old fashion style newspaper. With big squirts Little Squirts and a grand menu that will satisfy any appetite. The pancakes are called Bettys and you will get three as large as a 9 inch pie. Surely you will need a box to take home your leftovers. Ive been going here for many years now and love everything that Ive eaten down to the junkyard Burger with everything but the kitchen sink on it. The first place that I always recommend is this location and this restaurant. I love the price I love the family feel I love the employees friendliness and the owners that take the time to chat with the customers making it a wonderful experience.
I had a waitress name rann, she was great with my kids. The food was amazing, got mac daddy, my fav. Ice cream is so good not like other places. Again best kindest waitress thank u pop shop.
We were really disappointed in this place. And we were really excited to go there with out 2 kids. We were hoping for a completely different experience. Staffing was very sparse and It didnt seem very clean. The food was not good, the things that stood out was the pork roll was a funny grey color, and all the little butter packages were melted and liquefied....I think they need an overhaul and focus on cleaning and food safety! Not sure if the Medford location is any better, but we would be a bit slow to even try it....
I went to this place for the first time after many friends raves about how good it was. Upon entering we were quickly and nicely seated with out very cool newspaper menus. Our waiter came over and took our drink and food order. I ordered the three eggs over hard on top of their cheese hash browns. When my food first came out there was a hair in my food. (Picture below hair is on the right bottom of the plate in the hash browns) the waiter immediately took it off the table and apologized for it and went to have it re made. He was very attentive and respectful. Then the kitchen which was in ear shot of our seats blew up with cussing and screaming from the cook. She continued this for the rest of our time there which ruined the mood....this was bad enough to where the manager asked a server to turn up the music in the restaurant to try to drown her out. the food came out the second time and and the eggs where over easy not over hard. I was so hungry by this point and my partner had all most ate his food. I just slid the eggs off and ate the hash browns. The server brought us our check and again apologized for it he comped that meal and Discounted the ticket. Again our server was amazing and nice! The food and the cook staff is what ruined the experience for me. It will be a while if ever if I give this place a second chance.
I started going 2 the Pop Shop 4 over about 20 years. They have always had the old pop shop feel. Their staff is always accomodating and u get 2 know each other. And, of course, the food is awesome. It does not gurt that Bobbx Flay did a throw-down there with cheese sandwiches and lost, although they did name a sandwich after him.
Fabulous place to grab a bite to eat! We contacted the pop shop to see if it would be possible to have a photographer come to photograph pictures of my father with his granddaughters. We had a received the news that he had brain cancer, and had made the decision that having photographs with his grandchildren sharing his most favorite treat would be just the way we would like to remember him.The Pop Shop was sooooo accommodating and caring. A few months later COVID hit, we havent been able to hug him or make the memories we thought once would be possible. BUT we do have these pictures and memories from The Pop Shop and that means everything .Thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity. Dont hesitate, take the kids, have fun, and dont put off until tomorrow what you can do today.
My experience at The Pop Shop wasn’t all that great. The service was absolutely horrible! Don’t get me wrong, our food was delicious, but the waitress was terrible. I also thought the place was a little gross inside. It just felt a little uncomfortable because it didn’t seem super clean. I just don’t think I will go back to The Pop Shop for dinner, maybe I would for a milkshake again though. So overall, I don’t regret the one time I went because I wanted to try it, but I don’t think I will be going again.
Absolutely love this place. It’s the type of place you can picture coming to regularly — but the food is far from the norm! The restaurant boasts hundreds of choices (gluten free and vegan as well) on their menu, along with their many flavors of milkshakes and other yummy treats. As pictured: Arlington grilled cheese (filled with mac n cheese & bacon), Sean’s Big Island fruit shake, and Oreo cheesecake shake. You will not regret choosing to dine here. It’s also super kid friendly!!
Went for breakfast. Omelette was burnt and dry. Hash browns werent good. Had lunch here before and it was pretty good but I dont think I need to go back after the breakfast we had.
If you want a hearty grilled cheese sandwich and a thick shake this is the place to be. The biggest drawback is the huge amount of delicious sounding sandwiches to choose from. Id recommend splitting a specialty fry, the smaller size is more than enough for 2-3 people to snack on. Pick an off peak time to go if you can, seems like a place that fills up in a hurry!
The atmosphere is fun and my daughter enjoyed herself. The prices arent bad either. Only have 3 stars because I didnt like my pancakes but it was taken off the bill. I will definitely give this place another try !

If you havent visited this place for both breakfast AND lunch, youre doing yourself a grave disservice. For years, my family had only had breakfast here. Recently, I took my 11 year old (as requested by him) for lunch. What a great idea! Grilled cheese on a pretzel braid?!? Yes, please!
The hostess said it was no longer than 20 minutes for a table. Ok I will take it. So she proceeded to take my name,number and wrote 20. We waited for a good 45 minutes. She never came to say sorry its going to be longer than I thought. If it wasnt for my grandson needing to see Elmo. We would have gone somewhere else. The rest of our dinning experience was great. The food was really good and hot. Just wish the hostess said something.
Terrible service. I waited an hour to not be served and they went up to every other table but ours. We had to ask them to bring apple juice after 40 minutes. A lady that came like 20 minutes after us got her milkshake before we did. We had somewhere to go and told them to just charge us for the drinks. They still brought out the food and we were just nibbling on the plate and the “owner” said she didn’t want to give us food we weren’t going to pay for in a disrespectful manor when it was their fault and they didn’t communicate with us the whole time. Then my friend said she would pay for the bacon because she wanted to eat it and she basically took the plate out of her hands. The “owner” later came to apologize AFTER doing all this. WORST SERVICE EVER DONT GO! I would rate 0 stars if possible.

I have been a few times in the past and was always happy with the dishes. I recently placed an order through GrubHub, for pulled pork fries and a soft pretzel grilled cheese and I must say they were both AMAZING. The fries were missing the side of bbq sauce but they were still great. Everything was hot and fresh and I will def try them both again.
Great costumer service with a cute retro diner feel. I got the 5B’s grilled cheese that Bobby Flay made when doing a show down there. The sandwich comes with “pop fries” which are handmade crispy and fresh. It was tasty but there is such a big menu there that there is something to be found for everyone . Seating is quick and they offer daily specials.
Nice experience, kind staff, and although they ran out of brownies for the brownie points icecream there were still plenty of good options to choose from.

First time here. Went to the Valentines dinner and Medium. The staff was very nice and helpful and friendly . Bathroom was well maintained. The food was more like a small lunch buffet. Sandwiches, mac and cheese, french fries and over cooked broccoli were not very good so the $45 a person was a bit disappointing. The entertainment was great! Kids events I would return for.
So this is the first time weve been there since they changed ownership. They dont have the soda jerk fountain anymore, their menu is half what it was, and the service was slow. The waitress didnt know which soda was which between root beer and cherry coke so she literally spilled some out into her tray to tell them apart. The cups were so sticky. I dont think well be back. Definitely nowhere near as good as it was. Such a shame.
The staff treats my little ones well. They LOVE getting a balloon when we visit The Pop Shop. Theres something for all of us to eat, which can be a challenge for us elsewhere. If you get a salad, I recommend the house vinaigrette.

Truthfully, I find this place to be overrated if you’re a twenty-something year old looking for a place to get breakfast. But overrated is not bad, and if nothing else, it is a fact that their milkshakes are excellent. There’s no other place in Collingswood that I would go to get a milkshake. The one star is lost because the other things I’ve had here—waffles and eggs—were just okay, not great. Plus the decor is cool but I think it’s more appropriate for a family or child audience. All of these thoughts culminate in an experience that’s not bad, but not the most ideal for me. If you are a family with young children, this seems perfect. For others, a traditional diner or more trendy spot might be better

Good food. I had the cheesesteak, but the bun was a little tough. Otherwise the meat, onions, and cheese was all excellent! I do have to say that the atmosphere was so much more pleasant until they started pumping the music loudly. Also, the prices are a bit steep for the quality of food they served. Make sure you check Groupon before you go!
It took approx. 50mins to get our food. I asked for tater-tots and received hashbrowns. I asked for white toast and received rye toast. My parters bacon was not cooked!When i brought it to the waitress attention, she replied, Oh you wanted white toast and tater tots?? So what was she writing on the pad?!!!

The food wasn’t what we expected. Lacked flavor and over cooked. Service is ok... server didn’t give us jelly or salt and pepper but gave us ketchup for our has brown eggs and sausage. Only came here because sabrinas wait was so long, big mistake. Would not recommend honestly. Orange juice was good though.

I went to pop shop yesterday and ordered the Linden grilled cheese sandwich which I have many times before the pandemic, I hate to be negative but I must say it was horrible, I was so dissapointed, it also came with coleslaw that tasted so nasty I was afraid to eat. Before the pandemic this was my favorite...
Kid friendly atmosphere with amazingly imaginative breakfast and dessert options. Definitely recommend!

The pop shop is a good place to eat in a group, as they have two areas for seating, one is the main area, and the other is for if the store becomes overcrowded. The store can also become very crowded at times, so if your planning on going, dont forget you reservation. Here is a picture of the mini chocolate pancakes I got, and all pancakes come with some powdered sugar on top, with a dr. pepper.
Great place for just desert... or dinner, lunch, whatever! so yummy, the staff is really attentive and friendly. great options for vegetarians as well and lots of neat events and extras when you sign up for their rewards. all you need to login into their wifi is an email address input which if you opt to can create the rewards account
My family and I visited last night for the 1st time and we were all super satisfied! There was a lot to choose from on the menu and the food was very good, even the kids enjoyed it. The place was clean and the decor is cute. Our waitress, Nora, was very nice and on point. Overall, great 1st impression for us. Well definitely be back!

The best grilled cheeses! Anytime my wife and I go we always have a fight.... not with each other with our stomachs! How can we possibly fit all this delicious food in them! (We usually get boxes) and have some delicious leftovers!)
Every location I have been to has been awesome. Diner food that is good and vegan is tough to come by. There are a wide variety of vegan breakfast and dinner options, so you could have a little bit of everything. When asked if they prepare the vegan milkshakes in an allergy friendly way, they were like, why wouldnt we make them in separate blenders???? I appreciate that attitude, since it can be especially difficult. Please, if you can, get a milkshake.
I was introduced to The Pop Shop a few years ago and have loved it ever since. The staff are always nice, food comes out quick, and the décor is so cute. I am on a strict diet so Ive only tried their fried pickles and fries, but that was enough for me! I recently just went there with a gf for a pickle day with an even stricter diet and they were able to accommodate my dietary needs! They were able to show me the nutritional info needed, without hesitation, so I could accurately measure out my food. I forget the servers name, but she was amazing, as they all are. She even caught something on my friends dish that she shouldnt have had on there which could have caused an allergic reaction. Cant wait to go back. The shop and the team that works there are one of the best Ive ever seen! Thank you Pop Shop! My gf and I LOVE you!

Lobster grilled cheese, i was not a fan but hey was trying somthing new its the risk we take lol and a breakfast burger for my girl it was good 😅i ate some of it lol oh and i dont know why but the workers just looked at me while i waited at the register i had to walk up to them next to the kitchen and ask for my things 😅 it happens i guess.
