Nice, clean wine and liquor store on the corner of Houston and poplar. They also have a good selection of beer with a few harder to find brands. Plenty of wine and spirits though. Prices are about the same as kroger on wine but they do have specials that are lower priced.

Jason the manager was super rude!! I have never seen any customer service this bad. Being a regular customer, I am very disappointed... terrible!please note everyone else had been super friendly and welcoming..Suggestions to management: Liquor collections are fine.. But customers do care about the service... I really had great experience with everyone else but Jason.. I will NOT return here. If employees are not up to mark then we can ask for manager.. what if the manager is not?Please aknowledge all the good and bad reviews. Thanks

Very informative staff. I was able to get Blantons bourbon. It has been hard to find in-stock at several stores

First time in this store and I was looking for martini mix so I asked a worker named Walker and he immediately says No that the store does not have any martini mix.!! It turns out the store did have martini mix. I definitely did not feel welcome. The customer service at busters on poplar and highland in Memphis is exceptional and Poplar Wine and Spirits should take notes.

The owners were RUDE to my friend & I last night. My friend wanted to try wine that I had at my place so we drove to this liquor store and when we walked in the workers immediately said “You got 30 seconds before we close” so I told him the name of the wine so they could get it quickly.. my friend gave them his ID but had to run to the car to get his wallet and while he went to the car the workers harassed me asking for my ID and I’m like why do you need my ID when he’s paying and he already showed you his ID so they refused to sell us the wine. We went to another liquor store and received great service. However the workers here were the rudest, most condescending people I’ve ever ran across! Will never go to this liquor store again

Great selection, however the first wine and spirts store i have ever been that did not give Veterans discount or even law enforcement. My opion i can not support a place that does support military and law enforcement. You have to stand for more than just the bottom dollar.

They have a great app and as soon as you order, you get a text that its ready!!

The selection is good and the staff is knowledgeable about the stock and can suggest wines based on your taste.

Went by here while I was out of town fast friendly and a wide selection of just about anything you would need or want.

The people here are great. Love shopping here. Occassionally they are unable to deliver due to short staff but mostly come through. And always helpful I would recommend to anyone, especially in this area.

Service was friendly but the craft beer selection is not good. Very disorganized and a few of the beers I wanted to try were out of date.

Jason, the Manager is friendly, knowledgeable and customer centric. I buy my kegs there and he makes sure that he exposes me new taste and selections.

Clerk was rude and said my mask was not acceptable so therefore I will not shop there again.

I think people exaggerate about a lot of things. How can you say they have a attitude? Everyone has different opinions. Me personally I believe these guys have good knowledge of what was asked. They help, explain and recomend. I like it. Only thing Id have to say would be a downfall is no 2 liters or 12 packs of coke or anything. Kinda sucks but oh well.

I disagree with the last google user. The Manager of the store, the man with the old time beard, turned me off to this place for good. I will now be getting my wine elsewhere. I spent time managing a liquor store in Fort Worth Texas for 4 years and I know good service. This guy was apparently having a bad day. No eye contact when I asked if they had Gnarly Head Zin in stock. I think it took him 5 seconds to respond and that is the manager of the store... Sad indeed. His employees are inviting and great workers for such a boring choice of income. Good luck to them! I hope they dont pack up and leave like I am because of the hermit that runs the place.

New to the wine thing and they were super helpful in suggesting a good wine.

My son and I frequent this establishment but after todays experience we will not step foot through their doors again. Today is my daughter-in-laws 25th birthday and they stopped to pick up a few items. My 25 year old son, who shops their with me regularly forgot his wallet, so his wife went to purchase the items. The female manager refused to sell to them because he didnt have his wallet, even though his wife was the purchaser. I returned to the store because I wanted to get the items and get to the bottom of the situation. When I asked about the situation, the manager said with an attitude unbecoming of any manager or lady for that manner, I can refuse to sell to anyone I want! This was at 11am, I told her I would take my business somewhere else and she made a snide comment that was upsetting! I really like the other workers in the store that I have dealt with, very knowledgeable. However customer service without respect and courtesy , I will take my business elsewhere. Before this event I would have given them five stars.
