I go into some sort of trance whenever I walk into this place. I will walk in knowing what I am looking for but my eyes quickly glaze over and I end up slowly walking up and down each aisle looking at everything. So many things that I must have! Most of it I didnt even realize that I needed. Yes its all imported, but most of this stuff you cant find U.S. made anyway. Great place!

Helped find the tool I needed even when thier location did not have it. I have never had a bad shopping experience at harbor freight nor a bad tool purchased.

I wish this place was closer to my house but the drive is always worth it they have some pretty good stuff and some excellent prices

Depending on your tool needs, this place has it all. Of course, sometimes you get what you pay for with budget imports. However, in my experience, it is cheaper to buy a tool here than to rent it elsewhere. Then when the job is done, you still have the tool.

Sadly, they no longer offer 20% off coupons and with that theyve lost their competitive advantage. Why buy a marginally good tool when better are available for less (in some cases) on Amazon or eBay.

Great experience as always at harbor freight. Great prices and a surprising selection of things you need and you just want to get in and out in a hurry. We couldnt find the item we wanted and we were offered help by the store manager as well as an associate. The item we needed was located thanksto great service and a smile!

For the do it yourselfers, Its like getting stuck in your favorite candy store with a sweet tooth going on. Your mind clearly opens up to your tasks at hand and even future ones. The staff is extremely helpful and seem to envision your projects as you explain them. They go right into action at making your projects come to be. The purchase price is extremely competitive and availability is on point too. The stores are very clean and have great lighting, yup... no shadows, good viewings of their displays. Have fun shopping there, I always feel empowered when I leave Habor Freight Tools... telling my projects, BRING IT ON😂.

When we first started trying to check out, there was only one cashier, a female, who was involved in such a deep conversation with a male customer that she apparently didnt even SEE the 6-7 other customers who wanted to check out. Did not even ACKNOWLEDGE any of us. Finally a second employee opened another register. When he was almost finished with the man who had been in front of us, we moved from our designated socially distanced yellow spot on the floor toward his register - as we were in a hurry - but we did not get within 10 feet of anyone else. When the cashier completed the transaction and the customer left, he looked up at me as I approached his register and said the line started back at the yellow spot I had just moved from, and that the man who was standing there would be next. When I said I had just moved from that spot in order to check out, the other man said I could go ahead of him. I waited for the cashier to remedy his mistake, but he failed to do so. I told the man to go ahead because he looked like he was in an even bigger hurry than we were. We looped around to go back to stand on the yellow spot we had just left.The female cashier was STILL talking to the same customerWe waited for about 10 minutes for the male cashier to finish with a second customer who also ended upon front of us. We watched the male cashier literally move at the speed of a bad film on slow motion. It was BEYOND obvious that he was doing it on purpose.I expected him to quickly check out these other two customers and try to get to us so he could apologize. But he definitely did not do that. Then I realized I didnt need what I was getting at that moment and I could order it online, wait for it at home, and avoid this jerk altogether.We just left our cart and our 2 items sitting near the yellow spot.I do not know what this young mans issue with us was, but he made it obvious that he did not concern himself with friendliness, customer satisfaction, or even following the COVID19 policies of Harbor Freight.We will not be back to this store. We will not recommend this store. Its too easy to get items elsewhere, including MANY other Harbor Freight stores in the area & via online shopping.

I’ve had less that stellar experiences with the other store in town, but the crew here is great. Kevin the GM went out of his way to try and accommodate me for a mishap even though he didn’t have to. Amanda the other manager is extremely nice as well. Please do yourself a favor and drive the extra distance from the summer store to this one. They truly care and the store is nice and neat, and you have friendly and helpful staff! Great place!

Good people

It is a smaller, well kept Harbor Freight with a good selection. The manager Kevin and I chatted and he was helpful and personable. I would really like Harbor Freight to start carrying more professional grade powertools though, that would be incredibly helpful. There were no variable speed angle grinders at all. So I went with their only professional pneumatic one which is 90$, and its a great product and I can moderate speed with a trigger. I would buy the product and go back to that store again.

I have had the worst experience ever dealing with Harbor Freight and their managers when trying to figure out what happened to my money. Amanda the Assistant manager at Collierville is extremely rude and very very unprofessional. My mother went in the store and purchased something the worker needed to work on my house. He never used it and she used her debit card. Later i went to return it and they sent my money to someone else debit card. They wouldnt reverse the transaction. stating that they couldnt. I called everyone for over a week and when Amanda spoke to me last she basically told me to stop calling. It is in Lost preventions hands and if they needed me they would call me and her store manager Kevin did not want to speak to me. Amanda stated she had 3 lines of people and was i need to just wait on a call, ALL i needed was a receipt showing a return that they claim was made which was one tool and i have the proof. They pulled it up by the customer number which he had made purchase in Chicago, but what was he purchased new here was never open and on my mothers debit card which they would not send back to her card, Saying he bought and returned these items before, which has nothing to do with what was bought in Tennessee. They will not cooperate with me. I have filed a compliant but no one has called me. I feel like if something is going on in these stores with theft. who purchased the same tools in one day? The manager at the southhaven store says she cant help me anymore. at this point i am going to get a lawyer and ask to see the cameras. They do not have patients nor skill settings to be in a management position. I will never shop here again and i am going to keep pushing this issue until they return my money. The systems are out dated if you cannot reverse a transaction. How can you tell me you dont know where my money went to? I have the receipt showing it was paid for in a car ending in 1742. I am very upset and dissatisfied as a customer.,

Think you need a tool but dont want to pay a premium? Buy it here. If you use it enough to break it then you know you will benefit from a higher quality one. Great prices on a variety of tools and other things. Water resistant tarps, ratchet straps, and other accessories like that are especially good deals.

Would be nice if they had a closer location to Cordova. Cant beat their prices and selection of tools. Employees are also knowledgeable and helpful. Cashier took time to find jack stand pads for me. If you do maintenance on your own car like me, go here over any local auto parts store.

If you are a weekend project warrior or just want to save a buck HF tools are for you. For a one off or two or three times a year use these tools will do just fine. The abrasives (sandpaper) are just as good as the high dollar stuff but saw blades are not. Also, precision tools are >not< very precise but if you are meticulous then you already knew that. Bottom line, if you would use a screwdriver as a pry bar, Harbor Freight will do just fine if you are a bit more refined then you already know where to buy tools.

My mom and dad went in shortly before close this evening to buy a battery charger. Instead of rushing them, the staff was courteous and helpful. A supervisor checked them out. She took her time to look up discounts that saved them 10% off of their purchase in addition to a year protection plan for free. Would definitely recommend this store to others.

Go in with value in mind - particularly if you need things for a 1 or 2 time job. Youll find a neat, clean & orderly arrangement of a huge variety of tools & supplies. Count me as a fan!

If youre going for a large variety of a lot of different tools this is the place to go! But most of their tools are made in China and not the best quality. This does allow them to have a good price. The store as well organized and clean. Store personnel are friendly.

I buy my needed tools and equipment from harbor. Ive had a good experience with the generators Ive bought, and they have held up well. Better price than most with the quality I rely upon

As a contractor is like a toys r us for a kid. You can find anything you need for tools. The people there are the best and Allways there to help me and told me about they specials. Also the email I receive keep me inform about the best prices. Its one of my favorite stores.

Great hardware store! We are members! Awesome value! I got tired of spending too much on a car seat cover so that my dog could ride with. Bed, Bath * Beyond always sells for $40. and it always tears up. Came to this place for a $5 moving blanket and viola!

Good cheap tools. You used to be able to buy American made Craftsman tools that were better, but more expensive. Now they are made in China just like Harbor Freight tools, so do yourself a favor and go to Harbor Freight first.

Harbor Freight is known for its great selection of tools and amazing prices and this location is no different.The customer service here has been top notch every visit Ive made. Employees on the sales floor are quick to answer questions or take you to what youre looking for.

Rude cashier wouldnt accept a coupon even though the product was NOT excluded. Wasted over an hour driving there.Used the same coupon on the same item on Harbor Freights website without an issue. Now I get to pay shipping on an item that I should have been able to pick up today at the store.

Value for money

I recently stopped by to purchase a sprayer for my lawn. When I was about to pay, the cashier informed that its company policy that items such as this arent returnable if found to be defective. This should have sounded my inner alarm, but I purchased the sprayer anyway. Well, to what should not have been a surprise, upon opening the box, I found that the sprayer was in fact DEFECTIVE. The wand that attaches to the sprayer was severed in half. Needless to say, I was very disappointed that HARBOR FREIGHT certainly more than aware that they are selling their customers junk products. IT JUST ISNT RIGHT.

Very inexpensive some are good long term others are just for a few weeks or months. Sometimes it can be a bit hectic with lots of people but by far my favorite tool store.

Like others have commented, Collierville store is much better managed than the Memphis store. Its like night and day. Twice I have found items in stock in Collierville that was OOS in Memphis. Manager also focused on making happy customers rather than treating it as just a job. Worth driving an extra 35 min to shop at Collierville store.
