Used this location for several years and have been happy with service plus the selection. My wife has always been able to find something she would be excited to put in our home.Every time I was there I was greeted and helped (I came in blue collar work clothes), I say this because I saw several reviews suggesting the opposite and I just dont believe it. Lastly, I only said about what I was wearing to show they did not profile that I couldnt afford to buy from them.

First time in this store and I have to say my husband and I were not impressed. No one spoke to us when we entered, we were there 15 to 20 mins and no one spoke a word to us or offered to help, and when we left no one said goodbye. Came to Lighting Etc and was blown away by their hospitality and selection and left there happy customers.

We ordered a set of outdoor lighting in September of 2020. When our electrician opened up the boxes 2 weeks later there were 2 pieces of glasses shattered. We immediately call Lee Lighting (Teri our sales rep) and she had apologized and then went on to say well order them right away. Fast forward 4.5 months later we never received a call from them to let us know its in. I call and speak to Teri again in January of 2021 and she promises itll be here on that Friday which had turned out to be true. Today I show up at 4:59PM and have a discussion with a gentleman through the front door mind you with out opening the door. He eventually opened the door to only close the door to go and speak to another lady which she then directs him to let me know it was boxed up and would need to be unwrapped and that they could not do it tonight but we open up at 9am.Being in the service industry this was a sub par experience to say the least.

My husband and I just spent 30 minutes at this store.It was evidently 30 minutes before they were closing which was an hour earlier than the website stated. Not one person asked to help us, or even spoke to us even though there were several employees there. The only communication were messages over the intercom, one when we walked in the door and one when we were obviously leaving. The only message they intended to convey was that we should leave because they were closing at 4:00. I have never experienced worse customer service. I understand that they were closing, but a smile or acknowledgment would not have made me stay longer than close. They had a lot of lighting, but they can keep it as long as Im concerned.

This is a great showroom with a huge selection. Our sales person did price comparisons for us and got the pricing down quite a bit.

As other customers mentioned, service was very poor for a number of large ticket items. We bought half of our home lighting from Lamps Plus & the other half from Lee Lighting. Out of these 2 lighting stores I would only recommend Lamps Plus as their customer service is much more professional, honest, and they insure & deliver 100% customer satisfaction..I would also recommend Passion Lighting but didnt buy there as at the time they didnt have what I was looking for but had a great customer satisfaction experience. Lamps Plus & Passion Lighting are great! places to shop!!

There are some fantastic lights in this store. Beautifully crafted, something for just about everybodys taste. When I walked in, I asked to look at a specific style of lighting. I was directed to the location in the store where I could find what I wanted and was told by the greeter that someone would be heading that direction to help and answer any questions. Never happened. I walked away after several minutes. But the merchandise is beautiful.

In searching online for updated light fixtures for a new listing I have coming on the market, I read prior reviews of Lee Lighting, and frankly was hesitant about going there. Fortunately, I did so anyway because of their great inventory and proximity to my needs. So...I feel if we’ve become a society so dependent upon online reviews, let’s also share the good and reward the great!Elizabeth greeted me upon entering the store and came over to me to initiate the sales relationship and asked what I was looking for. I explained everything and she could not have been more helpful! We quickly located the lighting I had seen online, she made very helpful suggestions that made blending with existing lighting fantastic. Upon checking stock in the warehouse, I was able to buy the display (last one) and then pick up the remaining items in Irving. She called ahead so they were already pulled and waiting for me. They are having a great sale, so the savings coupled with the amazing customer service make this a 5+ star rating for me!

Poor selection of lighting-- even worse customer service!! I walked in this afternoon in search of a couple chandeliers for our dining room. If you consider being greeted someone shouting HELLO while remaining seated behind a counter 20 ft away, a greeting-- then yes I was greeted. Not wanting to have a shouting match across the store, I walked up to the counter to describe what I was looking for-- a couple of gold chandeliers with lots of crystals. One of the three woman sitting behind the counter starts pointing around the store and explaining how each hallway has a different style of lighting and how everything gold can be found down the center hallway. I paused-- in shock they were all STILL sitting at this point, when one of them senses my unease and finally stands up (what a relief because I was growing concerned they were all super glued to their chairs and might need help standing). She walks me over to the gold lighting, points up and says, This is it, let me know if you need anything and rushes back to her chair. After looking up at the 15 or so gold chandeliers, I walked back to the counter, shes once again seated at, to ask about the chandeliers in the room to the right-- Are any of them available in a gold finish? She responded yes. I asked, How will I know if its available, is it written on the tag? She tells me, We would just have to look it up and let you know. Ummm... okay by all means please remain seated and dont trouble yourself getting up to show me which fixtures are available in gold--just tell me youd have to look it up and to browse a stack of lighting catalogs while you sit there. But wait--it gets better-- on my way out she tells me to sign up for their email list to earn a $25 gift card and notifications about future discounts. Why on Earth would I need a discount when Im never setting foot in this store again because youve been so lazy and rude. I dont need a discount, I want chandeliers for my dining room and friendly customer service!

No customer service for a number of large ticket items. One hour, nothing. A group of employees sat and discussed carrots last Saturday, waiting on no one. Several people in the store asked other customer their opinions. We all just finally left the store. (I had to put up one star to get it to post).

Very nice inside and we were greeted right away, but their prices are really high. I would understand if that had something unique and hard to find, but I can find most of those lights at a hardware store or online for much less.

Wide lighting selection, beyond what is at Lowes and Home Depot. Higher end, but prices are good for the quality and designs available. Friendly staff.

As a retired designer... I entered telling the sales lady I would like to look. After 5 minutes, I was bothered again, and then another 5 minutes! Just bothering the heck out of what I needed, the look I was going for, room I was doing! It would have been nice to just be able to think, BUT that isnt the reason for the low score! Loved their showroom, A- on that! After explaining to her which rooms I was needing and the looks I was trying to blend, having Old World castle look transferring into a house that was French Country was where I was trying to convert lighting to still look transitional in order to sell but I would love with my furniture, it was too much for her to handle! Another two salesladies joined in with me just trying to think and not be bothered! THEN... They said, We will need to come to your home to actually get a feel for exactly what you need and the sizes! What the heck? I told her Im a retired designer and good with choosing my own, thank you, and I know the sizes I am looking for! She says in order for her to help me she needs measurements and to get a feel for the house! OMG I am fuming at this point... After some upper lady comes out to search for a photo of a light I had on my phone, telling me AGAIN... They have people who will need to come out and measure BEFORE I ORDER ANYTHING! Again... I blurted out, I have a DESIGN DEGREE (FROM TCU) AND DO NOT NEED YOU LADIES COMING TO CHECK OUT ANYTHING! At that time the first lady tells me she has a meeting and passes me to the last lady... In which the last lady asked me if that was all I needed? Ugh... I hadnt ordered ONE thing... And came in to buy probably over $10,000 worth of lights right then! So, getting home to compare their prices and find that I can order the exact fixtures on-line or a little cheaper than their store has them? Well, she did say thats why they are so expensive... Is that they come to your house! So... Needless to say, I was so unhappy with the way I was treated I wanted to write something up bc I was so upset! I would not be ordering from here if you can choose yourself but if you need their opinion and help... They are willing... Its included in the price of your fixtures already!
