I had a complex project to do. Went in a big box store first but quickly realized I wont be able to get the help I truly need. Jim at Colleyville Ace was BEYOND helpful. He not only helped me find all the tools and materials, he spent time sharing a ton of tips! I was also impressed with a couple of young men I met there - polite and hard working!

Went in to find specific bird seed. They did not have it but neither did 2 other stores checked. The register checker was very patient & sweet dealing with the gentleman in front of me who just wanted to converse a few minutes. Apparently he is a regular customer. The store did seem well stocked & organized. Good store to visit.

Needed a new grill for my backyard cookouts. Employee Mason spent lots of time showing me all the grills offering helpful suggestions. I bought a Webber 22 original kettle premium. Happy with my purchase, and the friendly and knowledgeable service from everyone at the store.

The store is clean, well-organized, and had everything I needed in stock. The staff is very knowledgeable, easy to find when I needed help, and genuinely seem happy to be at work. Customer service is superb, both on the phone and in-person.

Found great Colors on sale rack to paint my bathroom. Got the job done and they had everything I needed. Great prices!

I go to Colleyville Westlake Hardware (Ace) as a first stop, generally, for hardware/house needs. If they dont have it, I try Lowes or Home Depot. The Colleyville location has a good selection, but it is limited compared to the other guys. So, why go there? The associates at Westlake are available for help and questions. If youre trying to do something and dont have all the answers, they can give tips, ideas, and suggestions. I have found that at the other stores, but usually Im walking around trying to find an associate, which rarely happens at Westlake Colleyville.

Very helpful unlike the big box stores.

I liked the place, friendly folks, helpful, but they were charging $19 for a bundle of firewood the day before the winter storm. Seemed high. I would call it price gouging but I dont know the fair market value.

Great customer service experience! Jim from the hardware department is awesome and knows what he is doing. He helped me find all the hardware for a flag display box from the early 1940s that needed replacement parts. He took his time and patched it up all together.

I’ll never shop at this Ace again! I went to return a defective item that I purchased two days ago and the cashier (the lady who has been there a long time that has the worst attitude I’ve ever known) insisted that I had not bought the product there and was not at all helpful. After waiting a while I had to get the very nice assistant store manager to look up the product and get my refund. I was treated very badly. Customer service has really hit a new rock bottom.

Just had the worst customer service experience. When approached by a sales associate who asked me how he could help me I nicely asked him to pull his mask up..he proceeded to tell me he wasn’t afraid of me and that masks don’t work. I was shocked. As someone who is high risk I left in tears. I will never shop there again.

We needed help finding a specific type and size of bolt. It took about 20 minutes of waiting to be helped; I would like to think thats the cost of getting good one-on-one customer care, rather than be frustrated over how long we stood there. We got what we needed and went home to try out the bolts. The store was clean and well organized. The staff seemed to be knowledgeable on their stock and knew where to send us directly to find other things. We enjoyed our trip there and plan on returning, even though it is out of our way.

Nice change from the box stires

This Ace is super buttoned up and comes highly recommend. They have the friendliest and most accommodating staff too.They also have a good rewards program and a bit of a quirky merchandise selection so you can own something the Jones dont.Returns are also a breeze. In March I returned some of their Christmas lights that stopped working in Dec. They were able to look up my receipt and boom return was complete. I expected a hassle and got none.Love shopping here!!!

Last of a dying breed - a hardware store where the employees are extremely competent and can give you actual and real world advice based on experience, not a YouTube video. Always a pleasure to shop here, the ability to find and purchase individual screws, nuts, bolts (hardware!!) is unmatched. I frequent this store and willingly pay a few percent more to keep the knowledge alive. The prices are extremely competitive and their sale prices will blow you away. Highly recommend!!!

My go to place for a great selection of nuts and bolts for my car and home projects. They have the unusual stuff, it is in stock, and the right grade of fastener.

They carried a full home water filter housing wrench that the big hardware stores didnt carry. I go there for my more specialized items.
