I have been wearing glasses for 46 years and it was time for a new pair. What I thought was going to be “just another” eye exam like so many I had before turned out to be the BEST exam and buying experience I have ever had. Chris Darilek, OD performed the most thorough and complete eye exam I have ever had. Not only was he professional, he was also very caring and attentive and will be the only person that I will go to for exams and glasses from now on. Do yourself a favor and go see him, you won’t regret it.

Super staff (Ed), super doctor (Chris), super service. Dr. patiently worked with me until I was satisfied and comfortable with my new bi-focal contact lenses and I now have the best vision I have had in years. My daughter also had her eyes checked and was extremely happy. There was no wait (I did have an appointment), they were super responsive and a pleasure to work with. A+

Dr..Chris was very friendly, competent and thorough. Other staff also made me feel comfortable. No wait to be seen. Good variety of frames, but no off brands noted so pretty expensive for glasses.

Dr. Chris Darilek, at Texas State Optical Colleyville, is a great eye doctor. He considered the big picture when it came to my eye health.He and his staff took the time to get to know me. They checked out my eye care history. Then they determined my vision needs after using state-of-the art computerized cameras that took photos of the inside parts of my eye and analyzed my vision.Dr. Darilek did an awesome job determining my prescription by balancing several factors, my eyesight, visual efficiency, and ability to process visual information seamlessly. He even checked me for diseases of the eye.I was thrilled not to have macular degeneration that runs in my family. The new advanced testing is vastly superior to the previous methods.When I received my new glasses they were absolutely perfect. I was amazed at my ability to read small writing, work on my computer and see clearly the images and writing of my smartphone and tablet. The greatest joy was seeing world around me with outstanding stereoscopic vision. The new progressive lenses were a dream come true.Thanks Dr. Chris. I was seen on time. The staff was friendly and helpful. The technology used for the examination was non evasive and everything done was explained. My time with the doctor didnt feel rushed and all my concerns were addressed. The selection of glasses is different from anywhere else. The staff helped find a pair that fit my style and face. When I picked up my glasses clean they made sure the fit and lenses worked to my satisfaction. Ive already recommended them to my friends.

I was in to renew my contacts prescription and order new contacts. Dr. Darilek conducted my eye exam and sent me home with more than enough boxes of dailies to keep me good until my ordered contacts were to arrive. I was in and out within 40 minutes! Will always be coming here from now on.
